I said it before, but I'll say it again: I think wow was never goodAll the memories I have about it when I was a teenager playing wotlk was about running in circles (or flying) farming mining nodes to try to get money to afford a better mount to farm nodes faster. I also remember very clearly having fun in pvp battlegrounds until I hit a severe wall because to get better pvp gear I had to do arenas and I had no one to do them with. Similar story with raiding, but worse because I could only do the exact same raid with pug once a week on a server that suffered tremendously because, since it was a ghosttown server, there were no fucking tanks anywhere and the few were horrible people who abused their priviledge. Allied races should just been base races, but with a slight twist given to the other opposite faction. At least then you could justify saying they are unique. Instead it's redundant for most since you will be already playing the base race that has more options. Blizzard easily could give a reason to go against their own kin.
