The growing up bit was fine to cover with them, just the forced seperation and the Digimon leaving with adulthood bit had no place in there. It would've been nice if it was just a movie about Taichi being stuck between feeling like he needed to 'grow up' and be a proper adult with a proper job, or stay as a Chose one and forever be locked into the same things he's done since he was a kid. Even that's no grreat, but it's something they could've easily covered and not had that whole bit with Menoa happen. I really liked the aspect of Yamato and Taichi + the rest being older and gradually drifting apart, but some of them being lost in what to do. That part I really liked.

I'm getting really tired of Ghost Game's refusal to do arcs. The evolution to perfect should have been the culination of a multi-episode storyline. They easily could have tied the Phelesemon/Boogiemon plotline, this vampire organization, and the red scales from Morphomon gathering around the moon into a coherent 3-4 episode arc: All deal with demons masquarding as an organization to dupe humans, you have the connection of the color red, vampirism and the moon, the scales making digimon violent just like infected humans, etc.
A bit surprising Drac, Sangloup and Matador were all different mons, makes me wonder if GranDracomon will be a separate mon or Dracmon coming back from the dead somehow

At this point, I'd expecting the show to end with finding out Hiro's father is at fault for everything that's happened, not in a malicious way, but in a dumb scientist fucked around with the wrong stuff kind of way. The big bad will probably drag him back to the real world before the team defeats him, send all the wayward Digimon home, and then seal the link between the worlds again.
