All the the anthro animals in Sonic that aren't hedgehog, echidna, fox, bat, or chameleon look weird to me. Blaze, Charmy, Mighty and Ray all inhabit some weird uncanny valley to me where they almost look like they belong but don't quite make it.

It's only a matter of actually writing it, which shouldn't be too hard. Then again, the Honey milestone is approaching fast and I've gotta start on my art for it so there may be a slight delay after this coming chapter.When I was encouraged to write more after Chapter 1, I did a ton of research on how to avoid ameture mistakes so I can at least make a coherent story out of what I'm writing. One golden rule I found from many sources is to write the ending first and work your way towards it. Ever since I started writing Chapter 3, I knew how the story was going to end. The frequent delays between chapters were either because of me being overly concerned with accuracy (settings properly used and defined, characters as close to in-character as possible given the circumstances, etc), or just me being too worried with how my writing will be perceived. The positivity I've received has helped me overcome the latter, and after this story is done I hope to move on to stronger or sexier and more detailed works in the future. Writing for Sonic is fun. I can see where Ian Flynn gets his kicks.tl;dr: It'll all get finished. It's just a matter of time.
