>>325604626If you got the game today and used the free boost to get a character to level 50, you could probably get enough gear to comfortably time +15s within a month. you won't be AS geared as people who have been getting a free max ilvl item every week from their vault/lootbox but you can run the dungeons an infinite number of times a day/week from +2 and up, do the raid on normal mode then heroic mode once a week, and if you had money to burn, buy tokens to turn into ingame currency and buy all the high ilvl stuff on the auction house. from that point forward it's just about how well you play your class, how well you know the dungeons, and if you're willing to join a guild for help or just join random groups to do all the dungeons.

>>325605842honestly? healer. as a tank, everyone follows your lead. you need to know every dungeon perfectly, how to pull every pack of mobs, when to run from danger vs when to stay, plus you need to know perfect routes (everything you kill gives a percentage, every 20% spawns a mini boss that gives a buff, certain dungeons require a certain % before you progress further into the dungeon because you can't easily backtrack, etc) and how to fix a route on the fly if something goes wrong. as dps.. well there's a million times more dps players than healer or tank. if you try to join random groups there will ALWAYS be someone in the same role with more gear and more experience so it'll take forever just to get invites if you're flying solo.healer is always sought after. you have the advantage of rolling a meta healer class with all the meta traits to make yourself even more desirable. you do need to know problem packs and how to handle them but you're not leading the group like the tank. your damage doesn't matter at or below 15 so groups are more willing to take you if you're under-geared too as long as you can keep everyone alive
