I don't get all the hate that RoTHC gets. I've played up until the end of KOTFE (where I decided I had enough, KOTFE was just shit in all regards) and discounting the mini arcs on Oricon and Ziost, which were both perfection, RoTHC is by far the best one (at least on Imp side). I genuinely enjoyed the more covert nature of the Imperial arc, the first hour or so I remember being amazed by the skyhooks, and the world in general. Sure, the Isotope 5 droid boss fight was a chore, but so were the 6 or 7 solo FPs you had to slog through before even starting SoR, especially that Manaan one. That was just pain. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but nothing in SWTOR is. The gameplay loop is shit by default, but at least the storytelling was solid, unlike Revan and especially unlike KOTFE.

Just an empire hunting you down and you building a shitty little rebellion which takes down the Infinite fleet's flagship.

You get to peak behind the curtain on some things, but it also withholds a lot of shit from you and the examples it gives you, makes your realize there is so much shit we don't know about yet, things lost in time. Things that are way more interesting than simple force mysteries or all-powerful force beings. I'm talking about epic, yet simple ideas and scenarios and concepts that will make your dick rock solid just contemplating about them. The expacs added a whole new slew of possibilities for interesting EU novels I would have wanted to read, but I'm sort of glad there's an aura of mystery there. To get this kind of thing this late in the EU's lifespan was just a really unexpected but welcome surprise to me.

I've just completed the hk-51 questline from section x. At first, that was really fun. Especially that quest on the ship. Dogmatika or how is it called.
