I was always bad at keeping pressure after a midscreen SKD, as just one example, cause I just never really bothered to practice it. So I tried out the timings for meaties for each of my characters, for different moves that end a combo, on the different wakeup options, whatever (I even take handwritten notes). Then next times you practice it you just focus on drilling it in what you learned till it’s nearly second nature. Rotate through different areas for different days so you don’t lose patience and don’t worry about getting everything to click in matches all at once. If you just fiddle around in training without focus you’ll never make much progress
