Korean humor is just too different from ours. I have never laughed at a joke in a kdrama even though I like watching them. The sound effects are very cringe-inducing. There's no subtlety to be had whatsoever.

Extracurricular is the only korean show I liked. The pacing is just right and the story was really edgy but thrilling and interesting. I like how the main character was really withdrawn and awkward but not really a complete beta. Most importantly, it doesn't dick around for hours and is short and to the point. I swear every korean show is way too fucking long, there are way too many scenes that focus on pointless shit and only exist to meet some episode requirement.

It's really kind of strange for me. I don't watch that many k-dramas but according to this thread the story could have gotten really dark for a tale of revenge. Hell, one of the old mottos is to dig two graves when you go looking for it. But since I had seen stories like this before, I had a feeling there was no way that Park was really going to get murdered herself. Moon planned on self-deleting but still made sure to do it in a way that would never convict her. On one hand you'd think that for all that, she should have just offed her when she got the chance but really this is shit that the ones who survived have to live through now instead of just dying. Hye-jeong's probably never getting her voice back. I'm betting in korea she's considered damaged goods and probably won't be able to keep her FA job. Sa-ra went down and brought her whole family with her in the process, forever tarnishing the name that was corrupted to begin with, and Park is going to spend the rest of her life in prison with no one on her side even if she ever does get out. She's absolutely shattered and as far as Moon is concerned, the fact that she will never realize that she's taking the fall for a murder she didn't commit is going to be the best part. Do-yeong murdering Jae-joon just like that was abit much though.

Hye-jeong got off the lightest in my opinion. With her bolt-ons and still cute face realistically some white dude looking to cure his yellow fever would easily take care of her for the rest of her days.
