It wasn't bad
The problem was like most things, it shits on itself and tries to go extreme

The same thing happened with Kenan and Kel or Drake and Josh
Most of his shows had the same style, eventually it drops the original culture and just goes extreme.

Zoey 101 is the best example. It went from a few kids in a boarding school to 'teen romance'
Same with iCarly actually
