The show was shit because Watson was not played by Lucy
>>
Seasons were too compact. Under 10 episodes the big bad is defeated and Watson is married.
>>
absolute kino. Get some taste

>sherlock
>kino

Get some taste yourself, faggot.
>>
>watch the first two series when I was a kid
>absolutely blown away

>catch up to 3 and 4 lately
>this is stupid

Now I'm retroactively worried it was shit to begin with

It's all stupid, but those last seasons are very openly stupid, so you always fail to suspend your disbelief.

This looks promising, but I generally hate the episodic format. Should I try anyway?

I am around 7 episodes in, it is very comfy. Sherlock has a more of a House MD attitude

Casting and portrayal of Moriarty probably one of the worst choices in the entire history of telebsion/film

>tfw realizing Guy Ritchie's Sherlock movies are consistently good and has better Moriarty than BBC's Sherlock
I unironically want a third movie. RDJ might be not as good as Jeremy Brett but his movies are comfy & fun.

I know. I just rewatched the first movie yesterday and I love his constant banter with RDJ's Sherlock. They also actually employ his medical skills in the movie, something that I felt like BBC's Watson barely do (he mostly just tag along and get mocked by Cumberbatch's Sherlock).

The biggest problem with BBC Watson is that he's weak and only there to be the comic relief.
>>
the first two season besides the last episode were pretty good

In the books Watson is married after the first one, and Moriarty is introduced and killed off in the same short story.
