Try to go to Khe Bang national park and ride through there. Insane jungle in the neck of the dragon. Go to Ninh Binh. Khe Sanh road to Laos is a pretty interesting ride. See the weird temples in between it all. Spend some time with the monk children at said temples in the middle of nowhere. You’ll regret leaving so soon. You should get the fuck out of Saigon the moment you arrive. Stay a day if you're into to their history as it pertains to the Vietnam war but that city sucks. Then go to Dalat which is nice, good party hostels, and then go to the top beach place Nha Trang (This all makes sense via bus they're close) and that's all you need to do in the South. But then fly from Nha Trang to Da Nang and use that as a base to go to the main party destination Hoi An or Hue (I've never been to Hue though). I don't go North because I'm just not interested in the culture or motorbiking whatever. I go to Vietnam because it's cheap and there's hot young western girls running around who are totally DTF.

They're starting to deny visa renewals for expats doing infinite border runs. If you renew 3 or 4 visa 3-month renewal back to back, they'll start denying you.

You used to stay on the business visa scam, 1 year visa but they cracked down on that.

The new visa application page has too many questions. They gov doesn't want degen sexpats (english teachers) inside the country.

Thailand is different, you can make an honest living doing that sort of thing because the tourists are there and it's easy to own and run a business. The only way to make money in VN would be more or less scamming people while paying bribes left right and centre to keep it in operation.

Just do it. The motorbike is the way to go. It's easy to find other people doing a similar thing at the chiller non party hostels as well to make little day trips. It's way safer getting through traffic than you'd imagine too.
