Back in the /b/ with all the gore and edgy stuff , sure you would spot negative crap occasionally but in general the 4chan audience were more humane , there was actually genuine interactions, till the internet become social media madness and a pit of vulgarity .
People would sent bitcoin , pizzas and food to each others, when some anon opened thread venting he's misfortunes , people would actually all share empathy and help him .
I remember that , i recall 1 thread about some anon living in bad situation no food barely had money for food, and it was impressive the spirit of anons that flooded the thread to help him, sending him , paypal donations , words of comfort.
