How much are flight prices expected to go down over the next six months to a year? I want to travel South American, especially Colombia and maybe around the Caribbean from Australia but the cheapest return flights I'm seeing are about $2,400 Australian dollarydoos to Bogota
>>2394389I sure hope so but its unlikely. The inflation and staff disuption is there to stay. Hostels also seem to have gone up 50% even though the dollar had strengthened a lot
>>2394389>especially ColombiaI heard Medellin is the new Vegas
>>2394389A$2400?That's not even that bad. Book it.
Prices from US to Colombia are nearly the same as they were pre-pandemic. You sure that’s an inflated price for Oz?
>>2394443Medellin fucking sucks compared to how its rated. It's a solid 7/10 but people make it out to be much much more. If you don't speak spanish? 6/10.
>>23943892400 prison dollars (=1700 freedom dollars) for one of the longest possible flights doesn't even sound all that bad to me.
>>2394389Nigga you’re in Australia, every flight is gonna be expensive
>>2394545Redpill channels and puas shilled the fuck out of the plave, now you have non monger normies and techfags who think they are above pay for play because they are so le alfa bro getting their brains fried by scolp because they think that 8/10 girl is attracted to them because of their wicked game even though they don’t speak a word of Spanish and the tech fags simping for women by sending like $300 a month because they are redditor virgins or they go to gustos or something and pay like 500 mil for an hour. Abandon medellin and go somewhere else, locals are taking advantage of the new wave of gringo retards and the crime has gotten really bad as of late. Mexico and Thailand are much better, medellin was only good because prices were cheap for chicks and everything else and it was safe for a bit but now all of those factors are gone
>>2394389Prices are shit because not all flights from Australia to South America have resumed since the pandemic ended. LATAM only recently restarted flights to Australia. Qantas still have not restarted direct flights to Santiago, they are code sharing with LATAM but not operating their own flights and their prices are ridiculous. Air New Zealand had pre-pandemic flights from Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne to Buenos Aires via Auckland they have just restarted that service and the prices are too high at the moment. Either cough up the cash or wait a year or so to see if the prices drop. Keep in mind though that South America is usually more pricey from Australia than Europe or North America.
Some destinations have not entirely recovered pre-2020 flights.Such is the case for Europe-Japan, for example. With less flights, prices stay higher. In the meantime, some prices are cheaper than pre-2020, such as Europe-North America with non-budget airlines.
>>2394389cuck the Colombians for me fren, guys are a bunch of broke ass jealous faggots there
>>2395340Medellin I will say had a very mild climate that apparently stays the same all year around. It is great if you enjoy spring I think. I prefer my weather a little colder but its essentially California but without extreme heat waves and no beach. >>2396563The superiority complex they have is astronomically high. Some of the worst people to make friends with as a foreigner because they generally just see them as walking ATM insects to crush and harvest.
>>2396563>cuck trash men bro, steal their trash women broyou people sure have terrible fucking tastes
