I speak French well enough although it'll only improve while being immersed.NO I don't want to move to Paris nor Marseilles or Toulouse. If you have a degree just apply for an EU blue card, and don't listen to people here. France is a wonderful country, with plenty of culture and amazing sights. Heck even nice people. You are still young enough to go through the hardship of starting out on your own, dont wait on it.

It's hard to answer if you don't tell us what degree you have. For most STEM degrees i would say go for Toulouse (space/airliner industry), Rennes, Grenoble or Nice (IT). For business/banking it's either Paris or Lyon but i'd skip France proper and go to Genève (preferably) or Luxembourg (good money but too boring). You can live on the French side of the border for a lower cost of living and more nature (many Swiss and Luxembourger do so themselves).
