Which city has the best, busiest wildest nightlife and truly deserves the title of "city that never sleeps"?

It certainly isn't London because most the city basically shuts down at like 2 AM.
>>
>>2166306
Vegas, how is this a question?
>>
>>2166308
wot about in europe?
>>
Tokyo
>>
>>2166306
Vegas
>>
>>2166333
VEGAS
>>
Seoul (before Covid). But most of the great places closed. It'll never be the same again.
>>
Seoul and Rio de Janeiro
>>
Pattaya?
>>
Moscow has very long opening hours. But the bad weather ruins for me here.
>>
>>2166445
It's not like you were going to the great places as a foreigner anyways
>>
>>2166466
>Moscow has very long opening hours. But the bad weather ruins for me here.
i think they have to have long opening hours, so the people there won't kill themselves from seasonal depression.
>>
>>2166306

Vegas. You can get absolutely blitzed at 3 AM if you want
>>
>>2166333
Either Amsterdam or Berlin
>>
Clubs in London close at like 6, not 2. Lying cunt.
>>
tfw everything in my city closes at midnight, if not earlier, because its run by boomers who think that anyone out after then is up to no good
>>
>>2166638
>amsterdam
no way. it felt really tame and sedate

>>2166640
a smal amount of nightclubs in the city cetnre with the appropriate licences to stay open =/= wild nightlife
>>
Strange as it may seem, Torshavn, Faroe Islands. When I went clubbing there we would stay out until 10am and the streets were filled with people from 4am-8am (although my trip partially overlapped with their national holiday Olavsoka) Maddest cunts I've ever met
>>
>>2166640
very very few, midweek even less
>>
>>2166306
for North America it's NYC.

>>2166308
Vegas is plastic garbage

>>2166333
for Europe it's Berlin.
>>
>>2167032
>for North America it's NYC.
Doesn't the city become dead quiet past 3 AM?
>>
Miami
>>
>>2167046
4AM* is when bars are supposed to close
Most of Manhattan and north brooklyn is gentrified and doesn't stay open late because it caters to people who work 9-5s

If you go into South Brooklyn and parts of Queens there are places that are even bustling late into the night
>>
>>2166306
Tokyo and Osaka.
Kyoto to a lesser extent.
Bars stay open until 7am, 8am etc all the time.
when normies are getting sleepy and heading home, the night shift mob are just starting their first couple of drinks.
>>
Seoul - the clubs close when everyone leaves. If the party keeps going, the clubs stay open sometimes till 2-3pm the next day. Hard to get into some clubs in Gangnam though if you're not Korean, but Itaewon and Hongdae (if you're under 30) are no problem and you can get some thirsty Korean girls pretty easily if you're white.
>>
>>2167070
I would say the normies are the ones staying up late. When you are older than 16, you understand why sleeping is a good thing.
>>
>>2167077
>you can get some thirsty Korean girls pretty easily if you're white.
Totally. Top tier Korean girls, in fact.
>>
>>2167081
it's different in Japan, the normalfags are bound by "last train".
11pm, maybe midnight comes and you have to decide if you're gunna drink until 5am or go home.
>>
>>2166306
In Europe, it's obviously one of the big party islands like Ibiza or whatever, if they can be considered since 99% of the people visiting them go exclusively to get drunk, high and club all night.

That being said, in terms of active big cities it is Barcelona in my opinion. Clubs stay open and active until like 6am unironically especially in Summer. Crazy amount of raves and such.

I hear Berlin is also a contender but personally can't comment.
>>
>>2166640

Seething anglo can't handle the truth

>>2167230
this guy gets it. Same thing in Singapore (i live there)
>>
>>2167077
>>2167148
Do the girls even know English or do you guys know Korean
>>
>>2167230
I've always wondered, why the fuck do parties have to be at 2am and last until 10am when they could be at 2pm and last until 10pm? I like partying like any other person but assfucking hell readjusting your sleep times every two weeks is a royal pain in the dick
>>
>>2167053
this miami will party all hours of the day
>>
>>2167230
I loved that about Tokyo. I mean, I hated that the trains stopped at midnight (wtf guys), but because of that everyone stuck wherever they were had that look of camaraderie, like "shit, guess we're all in this together boys, time to get fukt." Walking by the Shibuya 7-11 was always hilarious; it was the stomping grounds of retarded weebs slamming as much chu-hai as possible with some random Japanese people in the wings trying to practice english.

>>2167560
If you're in Brazil, Belgium, or parts of Spain, that happens. Most people feel like they're bad people if they day drink I guess, pussies.
>>
>>2167560
it's cultural differences.
where i'm from, a party starts at midday and you're a limpwristed faggot if you're not blind drunk or unconscious by 7pm.
everyone goes to bed like 8 or 9 cuz they have work in the morning.

Japs always start their drinks at 7pm with dinner, then go to "nijikai" where they find a bar or another izakaya to keep eating & drinking at.

>>2167531
>>2167583
these guys understand.
>>
>>2167583
>Most people feel like they're bad people if they day drink I guess
yeah it's a Yank thing.
They love demonizing anyone that
>drinks during the day
>drinks daily
>eats food while drinking
>sips water to stay hydrated while drinking
but
>smash a 24pack of beers in one night that only cost you $10
they fucking put their hand over their heart and start singing the national anthem.
>>
>>2167558
I think the second guy was being sarcastic and was implying foreign guys don't get top tier Korean girls
>>
>>2166334
Really?
>>
>>2166306
Bangkok
>>
>>2167583
Where are the good bars in tokyo where hipster japs go?
>>
>>2167077
>if you're under 30

How do they know, and what kind of music do they play?
>>
>>2167560
Because night time is the best. It's respite from the harsh light of day. You can look good in a darkened club or bar. Being drunk in the day is horrible.
>>
>>2167588
>Japs always start their drinks at 7pm with dinner, then go to "nijikai" where they find a bar or another izakaya to keep eating & drinking at.

man I really need to go to Japan
>>
>>2167563
sounds pretty based
>>
>>2167589
i dunno. i am american and plenty of drinking happens during the day, especially in urban areas, and ESPECIALLY NYC. granted, we have no equivalent to the english pub. but it's fairly common to see people in bars during the afternoon, especially when many restaurants specialize in craft beer and other alcohol these days

i personally don't enjoy day drinking because it makes me drowzy by the early evening. would just prefer to drink later, if it's a "getting drunk" kind of day
>>
>>2169090
Germanfag here, we have a special word for an occasion that involves drinking in the morning called Frühschoppen.
>>
>>2166710
hello fellow bostonian
>>
>>2166308
No longer the case since Covid. Every closes after 10-11 outside of like Robertos.
>>
>>2166306
vegas
>>
>>2166333
In Europe? I would say, Germany - Hamburg Reeperbahn. It has hundreds of clubs, bars, strip clubs, gambling dens, prostitutes and every other form of degeneracy available all night. Streets are packed until around 4 AM, only then people slowly begin to leave but some parties go on until the sun is up. Make sure to go on a friday or saturday though to get the best experience, and only after the covid nonsense is over.
>>
>>2166306
South Korea has a great nightlife scene. I had no expectations when I went to Korea but it was surprisingly easy to make friends and the people there really know how to have a good time.
>>
>>2166638
Amsterdam doesn't even have the best nightlife in the Netherlands, let alone the world.
>>
>>2166334
No, Tokyo is dead at night. Even central Shinjuku.
>>
>>2166306
Tokyo hands down
>>
lol, it's not tokyo
>>
>>2166306
>>2167053
I'm suprised Miami is so low down the list. Miami fucking goes 24/7 partying. Those saying tokyo don't know what they talking about. Tokyo is more of a salaryman getting pissed drunk vibe. Go to Miami if you want to party your dick off.
>>
>>2167603
>the harsh light of day
Jesus anon either leave your basement once in a while or move out of Pakistan.
>>
>>2166306
I was going to say Vegas but >>2169221 is right. Everything closes early now and the only bars that are open after 12AM are going to be your casino bars. Clubs are open until 2AM but they are only open on the weekend, nothing midweek. Perhaps it has improved in the past 6 months but they reimplemented masks there too so I doubt it.
>>
>>2170185
What about getting laid?
>>
>>2167601
Not the other guys but they will see by checking your ID. And in Seoul/Busan you'll find mostly hip-hop clubs. There are some techno clubs too.

I find people in Korean clubs usually nicer than in the West but most people won't talk with you if you don't speak.

+Some clubs won't allow you to enter if you're white. Even if you go there with Koreans chicks.

To conclude Korean clubs are funny but if you're Korean. Otherwise I think you'll find better places in other parts of the world.
>>
>>2171790
if you don't speak Korean*
>>
This was Bangkok. Obviously not anymore. Even before covid nightclubs had to start shutting down 3-4. Even though some stayed open later it's a buzzkill.

But yeah, 5-10 years ago, BKK.

What makes you feel that you "need" to go to Japan is that people there binge drink? Do people not do that in your own country too? 二次会 just means afterparty. Pretty sure that word exists in just about every language.

Call me a faggot if you like, but you seem like a shallow person.
>>
>>2172175
This. Also, don't think they're drinking like a euro there, it's a couple of beers and basta, the fuckers are as red as their flag
>>
>>2167531
Singapore is not the same as Tokyo at all, you must not have spent much time in Tokyo if you think so. Tokyo is much bigger with most people living very far from where they go to drink. In Singapore a lot of people live close to where they drink and even those who live far can just get a Grab at any time which is much cheaper, faster and less of a big deal than getting a long taxi ride in Tokyo. You can get literally anywhere in SG in 40 min by taxi regardless of where you are, after that you’re either in Malaysia or the sea, that’s incomparable to an endless city like Tokyo.
>>
>>2167596
Korean women don't want Korean men.
>>
>>2172264
That's what Westerners think. But most Korean girls don't give a fuck about foreigners.
>>
>>2167307
I've lived in BCN and travelled a lot to Berlin, Berlin blows Barcelona out of the park in terms of nightlife, especially in terms of diversity of choice.

>>2170029
+1 for Hamburg as overall good party place too. I still think what OP is looking for is Berlin pre-corona
>>
>>2170271
Remember this is a weeb board with extreme asian fetishes
>>
>>2172264
That's so true. But when I walk outside for the first time in months, all I see are Korean couples everywhere! NOOOOOOOOO Korean women are supposed to hate Korean men! That's what le Reddit told me! Korean men can't keep getting away with it!!! Korean women are supposed to love ME and satisfy my yellow fever!!!
>>
>>2172175
>What makes you feel that you "need" to go to Japan is that people there binge drink?

Sounds comfy, there is something about drinking in a foreign country at night until the early morning that cannot be replicated at home. Faggot.
>>
>>2172175
It's a nightlife thread you fucking mong.
>>
>>2167070
I didn't find this true at all. Problem is the trains stop at midnight, which clears alot of areas and bars out around 11 with people catching the trains. Sure, people stay out, but it's not like Berlin where trains run all night.
>>
>>2172649
where the areas where people party?
>>
>>2172649
yeah, i found tokyo to be so quiet at night... even areas like shinjuku, shibuya, and harajuku. that said, maybe roppongi would have been different...
>>
>>2172670
So then what do people do at night?
>>
>>2166445
This. I didn't do a lot of partying but went to a BBQ that closed at 4am. My gf and I were the only customers there and we left at around 1am. I looked out my hotel window one night around 4am and was surprised at how much traffic and people were still going around. It was a quiet area too.
>>
>>2172691
Never been to Korea but there's kbbqs in California that close later than the regular bars do and Korean noodle shops that are open 24 hours "for student who study all night." Are Koreans a particularly insomniac type of people?
>>
Moscow or Bucharest. People who say Berlin forget Sundays in Berlin I think. Sundays are dead.
>>
>>2172876
Are they party cities? Or just business men winding down with a pint tired from a day of work?
>>
Germans aren't exactly known as party people, but as suggested multiple times, Hamburg and Berlin are amongst the best in Europe.

https://theculturetrip.com/europe/germany/articles/why-hamburgs-nightlife-is-possibly-the-best-in-europe/
>>
>>2167046
Only if you don’t know anyone. Legal limit is 4am. Many options after that once you get in the know.
>>
>>2173014
>Hamburg
Are shops 24 hr as well? And is the nightlife spread out or delegated to a block?
>>
has corona killed nightlife worldwide?
surely after a year of this once every one has got it, no one will give a shite anymore
i expect stuff to be back pre corona by 2024 latest
>>

Disagree, amercoid roasties love mimosa brunch and basedboys love sessioning some heckin hazy ipas at the craft taproom and eating overpriced ethnic food truck fare

>>

I just got back and hit two clubs on tuesday around until 4, only places that gave a shit about masks were the casinos
>>
>>2173907
It's not exactly viable to keep trains running all night to transport a few drunks. Taxi's run all night. Use one.
>>
>>2173907
They have, that's why so many places are open till 6 am and why there are capsule hotels.
>>

For some reason its not common knowledge that Koreans are a bunch of alcoholics.

I truly believe they are. I don't have much experience but went to school with a lot of koreans. they would never go to class and would stay up all night studying instead. so strange.

this. The night life there is fantastic. Although I rate Busan over Seoul.
