I'm going to Vegas for a couple days (two) to check it out. IDK for some reason I'm being called to Nevada ( i know they aren't the same thing but Im starting in Vegas then maybe eventually I'll move to the suburbs or even farther North). Thoughts? What should I do with two days? Give me the good, bad and the ugly

>What should I do with two days?
The strip that's about all there is with the way things are right now. 2 days is enough to get all you want out of it.

Shits mostly closed so enjoy

fuk now Im fudded

Play blackjack. I'm partial to Caesar's Palace, but if you're looking for the lowest table minimums on the Strip, New York, New York and Excalibur have $5 tables.

Take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.
Fuck a hooker.
Do one of the machine gun shooting ranges, they'll pick you up from your hotel on the Strip.

Vegas was the worst city I have ever visited. The escalators and stairs feel designed to corral you like a rat to the casinos. You will see homeless people and panhandlers on the strip. It really enhances the trashiness. That being said I agree with >>1950813
If you like blackjack, this is a great game to milk free drinks (tip a buck or two, the waitresses work for tips). I treated it like a pub crawl and came out $200 ahead after ~12-13 beers in me. Hoover Dam is boring and the side of Grand Canyon is also a tourist trap, and its on an American aboriginal reservation. I'd avoid those both.

i agree with >>1950709 two days is the perfect amount of time to spend in Vegas. there's not much to do. id say, start near the top of the strip, get a drink in every casino and walk from one to the other. get food at whatever resturaunt. call it a day when you're too drunk or tired. then do it again the next day for the rest of the strip you didnt see the first day. freemont street is lame so dont bother. see penn and teller at the rio if you can.

Worst time of the year. Most pools are closed. There are no shows, no sports. Where are you staying? Enjoy the restaurants and gambling I guess.
>>
>>1950703
not much in Nevada besides Vegas. Red Rock and Valley of Fire are close parks. Pahrump for ugly legal whores, Mesquite for golf and gambling, Ely for creepy methheads and Tahoe for winter wonderland. Have fun.

What’s the best middle of the road Vegas hotel to stay at that’s not super expensive but also not shitty?
>>
>>1953222
stayed at the fremont for a few days in 2018. it was shitty but only like ~$30 a night and no resort fee. the golden nugget might be a decent hotel
>>
>>1953222
I can vouch for the Mirage and Park MGM.
>>
>>1953222
The Flamingo's alright. It was renovated a few years ago, and is just across the street from Caesar's, for 1/4 the price.
>>
>>1950813
OYO is so desperate they have $2 tables now.
>>
>>1953723
flamingo is a cesspool. avoid at all costs.

isnt the bunny ranch near vegas? is it worth it if you have money? can you fuck pornstars or just random models?
>>
>>1956230
The bunny ranch is a few hours out and the porn stars aren't ones you have heard of.
There are porn stars but you aren't getting Asa Akira or any big names.
>>
>>1956917
thats ok, I jus checked the website. not bad at all. do you know if they switch up the models?
>>
>>1950703
bring a roll of quarters to the pinball museum
>>
What is the best resort on the strip to stay at? Money isn't an issue from the prices I can see but I want it to be worth it. Don't want to pay just for the name of the hotel. It would just be me solo.
>>
>>1953222
I like Westgate a lot. It's off the strip a couple blocks but the monorail stops there
>>
>>1959914
If money isn’t an issue you have a few different options depending on what you are looking for. Wynn and Encore (two hotels one resort) are the best on the strip in terms of luxury and service but also the most expensive and the location kind of sucks since it’s at the north end of the strip. It also tends to be a little older, more wealthy crowd since the young party people aren’t there as much due to club scene being dead right now. Cosmopolitan is a great choice if you’re a little younger and it’s not as pricy as Wynn, and the location is much better. Best place to stay really depends on what you’re looking for. I would say Wynn Is a better place to relax.

dig deep and get a better room so you won't be stuck at a place that is overrun by niggers with their unemployment money.
Whatever you do,

(reddit spaced for emphasis)

STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM NORTH VEGAS.

Next to the word 'shithole' in the dictionary is a picture of north Vegas.
Vegas is two towns - one, the glitzy glam place on Las Vegas Blvd between Tropicana and wherever is was where Tupac was euthanized. That's for the tourists. The rest of Vegas is a gritty grimy soul sucking place where the rest of Vegas lives. The locals don't want to mix with the tourists unless they're at a casino (I'm also partial to Caesar's Palace), they don't want locals in their casinos (Troubles, and anything near Fremont.) You don't want to mix with the locals, they will suck the life right out of you.
I could only handle living there for 6 months, the desert air aged me 5 years.

does anyone actually know how to fuck hookers in vegas? i was there last year alone in a hotel and i didnt know how to find an escort delivered to my hotel room
>>
>>1955975
Flamingo is fine. I was there about 4 years ago. Great location in the middle of the strip, good price, clean enough, nice pool
>>
>>1960699
just go around talking to people, a hooker put their number into my friends phone
>>
>>1950703
I live in Vegas right now, I can answer most of what you wanna know OP. Some people might have you think everything's closed, but things are really starting to open back up for the most part. I took a visiting friend to the Strip (was their first time in Vegas, otherwise I don't go there much) just last week, and it seemed almost as busy as pre-pandemic. Most places have capacity limits so you'll have waiting times for restaurants, shops, etc. Two days is a good amount of time to have a lot of fun on the Strip & Downtown, it'd be a waste of time to explore the fucking suburbs. I'm not sure if by being "called to Nevada" you mean you're considering moving here or whatever. If that's the case I can go into some other details, and 2 days isn't near enough time to make that kind of decision.

>>1960690
Take this guys advice and I'll echo it; STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM NORTH VEGAS.

How is Treasure Island? I booked on hotwire, seems to have good reviews and the location seems good. I can afford more, but i am not sure i want to deal with a luxury hotel.

I am staying 4 nights. I want to play table games and fuck a hooker. What else should I do/see?

>>1961453
I hope they are looking for cash right now.
