Some of these figures look like they are photo shopped into this veteran toy collector's video and that's quite troubling. These figures don't look like they are available yet and yet he makes it looks like they are ready to be sold. Couldn't he get sued for this? For false advertising?
>>9961908its the lighting doing that
>>9961926They don't have shadows
>>9961929why would someone shop in some shit looking retro toys no one cares about anon.
>>9961932You seem to care
>>9961935i mean im just bringing up its most likely weird lighting dont care past that.
>>9961908Don’t really understand how all these makers/promoters don’t get cease and desists desu
>>9961908I think the real question is why did some one photoshop Elliot Page to look like a diseased fat headed frog?
>>9961908Does he get a cut from promoting this stuff?
>>9963809most likely with how offten he shills 3P retro star wars crap
>>9961908Did you even watch the video?
>>9961908I know you’re trying to start drama, but it’s because he’s talking about the prototypes during that point of the video, which is why they’re just pictures. Then it changes to the repros once they’re discussed.
>>9964076Unless you make it drama.
are the mods cracking down on e-celeb advertising threads?
>>9965028I wish but no
>>9965028What mods? Pretty sure there are no mods here
>>9961908The real tell is the radical variance in angles on the feet relative to each other on the same flat surface.
>>9965649The real tell is that you didn’t even watch the video
>>9966361How about you keep this shit in the general retrofag thread. Fucking spam
>>9965649This. Thank you.
>>9966913/toy/ is cringe
>>9966733Another non-video watcher. Fair enough if you don’t like the guy, his videos, the threads, but at least do a little research before broadcasting your opinion.
>>9966392You are so easy to trigger. Over and over and over.
>>9967115Yes, but I enjoy the RetroBlasting threads.
>>9961908No you don't get it. He has early access to the figures because he is a paid SHILL.
>>9961908Most SH Figuarts are different from promo shots. Does that count?
>>9970284A man of culture I see
>>9962035Probably because the quantities that each individual maker is selling are way too small to be worth Disney's time to clamp down on. It's also a PR nightmare if they start attacking makers for providing products that Disney and their licensees aren't making. Making a scaled up version of a toy that hasn't been sold since the 1980s isn't exactly biting into their bottom line so they're better off just letting it go.
>>9961929They're on a clear acrylic shelf. Where would the shadow go?
>>9971193Look at the feet
>>9970597Or maybe he’s just a fan that is excited to get the latest products.
>>9971188Some makers are so blatant I'm surprised Disney don't pursue 1 or 2 a year just as a shot across the bow.
