Pic related is what they looked like in the original Metal Slug 3 game. Later in the late 2000's they updated graphics and ported it to consoles like Xbox 360, updating the soldier artworks in the process. The figure they are releasing is based on the updated looks.There, hope this cools things down at least a little.

Allen would be the cheapest figure in the series to produce, come to think of it. -His body is just a plain male version they've already made for the other characters. -Only needs cloth pants and boots - rebel soldier patterns and molds are made. -New headsculpt-Gun is a complex and large accessory but he doesn't need anything else like the other characters. MAYBE a stick bomb or two but like... already sculpted and produced with the rebel soldiers. Unless he had other (spoilery) extras, he's the lightest on accessories and new sculpts compared to the entire franchise. -Spoiler terminator head and robot upper torso if you wanted to go all out but I doubt it.
