The Bingo Toys shockwave figure (Wave Man) has this long slinky thing as a cable for the gun and I've been trying to find a replacement or something similar to it because it seems like the type of thing you'd be able to just buy but no such luck. I've tried looking up springs, coils, slinky, small, narrow, micro, every combination I can think of. Far as I know Bingo toys doesn't sell replacement parts so I can't get it there either. Has anyone seen anything similar to this? I think some other shockwaves use a similar part but most seem to use a ahrd rubber hose which is a different effect. Pic related looks like soft plastic but I assure you it's a tightly wound spring that's oddly loose which gives it a unique quality I'm trying to keep.

The IDW runs turning to shit killed a lot of interest in the characters and even the designs (not to mention Hasbro was pushing designs towards the toys for half of it) and then it ending altogether just cemented that since nobody saw a point anymore since they knew the next aesthetic was going to drastically shift. Price was also a factor most likely since gen scale 3p was starting to hit MP scale costs and folks jumped ship to MP since it got them more bang for their buck.Now that official is actually back up to being (mostly) decent quality, we may see 3p start taking interest in it again, but with that new aesthetic being G1ified everything, it may be a tougher sell since MP and legends scale were already doing that. If we were to see it happen, we'd absolutely need to have some new blood step up to the plate since the only companies known for touching gen scale either died out, shifted focus, or are still dead set in something specifically different. It's more likely the only gen scale love we'll see from 3p will be in the form of add-on kits. I'd even argue that SND is gonna have a tough time with this because its aesthetic sits well outside of both current and even previous gen scale.
