Is Mighty Maniax kill? My guy is sitting on more inventory than even Warlords, Battle Tribes and Morty. Like this is NiStuff levels of stagnant stock.I'm sure he ordered more due to the Kickstarter success, but these sculpts are way too specific to simply rely on repaints and part swap figures. The figures are a limbo between Battle Tribes and Pizzashit in that they function more as action figures than building toys. The Battle Tribes bodies are enough of a blank template that they can slap some weird tampos on figures to do new characters and it doesn't look weird. Pizzashit all has a similar kind of soft and melted style that part swap figures make sense despite looking shit, but it's more of a successful business model and they also constantly put out new sculpts.I just don't see Mighty Maniax surviving much longer unless they at least introduce head packs and accessory sets if they can't do new fully tooled figures. Which is a shame because they are fun toys and could be expanded on in cool ways.

Nothing to make people want them besides the pieces themselves. And they're so specialized and at an odd size, once you have enough there's not much incentive to want more. Especially in glyos where you're just selling the same pieces over and over again, it's either that or do them in colors that match onell drops and hope enough builders want them.
