>>9783007Do you have any examples of what you mean, faggot?
>>9783008The rib cages of skeletons are pretty cool and mostly hollow
Studio Series Bulldog fucking W H E N
>>9783011You mean bots that make use of negative space, bitch? Some of the bay designs do that but it's rarely seen in figures due to tolerances and partscount, where its easier to just mold it all as one piece.
>>9783015Never. They realized that the 1986 movie means they can do those instead.
>>9782974I like G1 and Armada. I'm a big fan of the blocky more simplistic designs.
>>9782867>Speaking of, is it just me or does this paint scheme make Bulkhead look really cheap?Even high end toys fuck up camo, its sad.
The Wrecker Bulkhead hammer fits Prime Breakdown, that's a nice feature.
>>9783103Its a 5 mm post.
>>9782876I genuinely wonder if the intent was for them to cannibalize blitzwing for megatron parts a la ROTF
>>9783103I mean, it's his hammerlike, his exact hammer from the show.
>>9783025I hope they do a studio series version of the Quintessons.
>>9783117It would just be a third release of the Earthrise mold, and it wasn't a horribly great mold either.
>>9783015Yeah probably never. We MIGHT get The Fallen because he's a popular character, but I think Bayverse is otherwise done. There was talk of doing some videogame-exclusive characters from the 2007 movie, but if they're considering them before finishing the characters that actually appeared on-screen, I don't think The Last Knight has any hope at all.I think the next live-action toys we're likely to see in any capacity is Rise of the Beasts. It feels like they rushed through the remaining Bumblebee cast in two waves and now they're just biding their time with SS86 until they can actually release something that has a toy commercial currently in theatres.SS86 is a guaranteed money-maker, but I feel they're being used as shelf-fillers until they can do the Beasts figures they've probably had waiting in the wings for a year or more.
>>9782867Even in the in-hand shots, you can see the obvious pixels on the camo. It was based on an extremely low-resolution template, and it shows.I'd also like to know why they think we need TWO Bulkheads on shelves at the same time when the first one has brought nothing but criticism from Prime and Animated fans (ie the people likely to buy Bulkhead). I'm sure completionists will pick him up, but even in an overwhelmingly autistic hobby like Transformers, I think they're overestimating how autistic we are
I've got all the Wreckers on pre-order, but I know I don't want them all. I like the Fossilizers, and Topspin and Leadfoot are must-haves, but which others should I cancel? The only thing I'd want Bulkhead for is to give his hammer to Breakdown and his mace to my other Bulkhead. If Springer didn't have the Wrecker symbol I'd want him, but as it stands I don't really want him. Which other ones do you think are worth keeping or cancelling?
>>9783209I'm only getting Leadfoot, myself.I like the Spinosaurus, but to be honest I don't really like Fossilizers as a concept, so I know he'll just go in a bag of spare parts
>>9783215I like the fossilizers as a concept but in practice they're just really shitty. The Weaponizers had the same problems: there's always one or two useful parts and then a bunch of weird junk that you can't use for anything.
>>9783198what indication do you have that studio series is just going to stop?>>9783203real life camo is pixelated these days
>>9783222>what indication do you have that studio series is just going to stop?I've actually changed my mind, a Bulldog toy will probably happen. But I think they're definitely running out of characters, and doing a Bulldog is indicative of that.At some point it's going to have to stop, because who else can they even do
>>9783232oh yeah they'll run out someday, but it would be weird to get this far and then poop out.
>the absolute state of the awful, overpriced G1 MP line>MPM Bayverse masterpiece looking great and on track with the reveal of blackout>Studio series returning to it's former glory with sideways, the highly anticipated fallen and the spectacular galvatron figure>Legacy toyline being nothing but mediocre garbage and recolors >Bitchworthy bumblebee being worthless if not even more so than the current state of legacy reissuing figures with worse colorschemes. Nothing of value created other than the cybertronian bumblebee Why haven't you become a bayverse chad already, tooners.
>>9783290because bayshit is trash
>>9783296I wonder how much damage the bay movies did in the long run to the brand.
>>9783305Besides exposing the autism of the fandom in a way 'trukk not munky' never could? It pulled in some fresh money and gave us a couple enjoyable characters.
>>9783305Not that much. I would say they gave Hasbro unrealistic sales expectations for non-movie years, but that's toylines in general now. Bay movies have kept Transformers as a franchise relevant enough to remain on shelves consistently, and not end up like He-Man through most of the 00s and 10s or G.I. Joe in the 10s.
>>9783290What's the Fallen gonna transform into?
>>9783327man I wanna see him turn into a fuckin ... crazy egyptian monster like an ammut or something
>>9783327A stupid clusterfuck of a space vehicle. What the fuck do you think it's going to turn into, retard?
>>9782802So wait, the final Wrecker reveal was the thing we already saw? Lame.
>>9782802>>9782963>the only disappointing thing was the confirmation that the sword will be clear plastic. Are you retarded? They said it is going to be painted
>>9782802>wreckers line>nearly half of them aren't wreckers
>>9783305I would argue that the Bayverse, especially during the second movie, gave us some absurd advances in engineering. They had to step it up in a big way to deal with these new hyper-complex designs, and while their footing was a little shaky on the first movie, they came into their own in a huge way in ROTF and the sublines that followed. We got some of the most complex and crazy transformations, absurd articulation, even paint apps were largely on point. It was a great time for Transformers toys.I mean, look where we were before that. We were just coming off the Cybertron trilogy, which for the most part was positively primitive by comparison, and the first wave of Classics. I love me some Classics because nostalgia, but even I can admit a lot of it was fairly bad and didn't hold up well over time (the only ones I still 100% love are Prime, Mirage, and the Bee/Clify mold).
>>9783352Painted clear plastic. Meaning easily broken compared to opaque plastic.
>>9783232With those tread legs, a Tankor retool would make sense.

Is Wreck N Rule Bulkhead cheaper than Legacy Bulkhead in your country? Mines like $10 cheaper.

>think that my Turannocon is a megawoman just because i was memed by JP>tfw he actually a Spanish man that likes to dance like uomini spagnoli tradizionali...noice
>>9783217Yeah, same. I think I bought one Modulator and was blown away with how shitty they are.Weaponizers were the worst, I don't know how they went through an entire R&D cycle and not one engineer pointed out that the 5mm pegs and ports have inconsistent lengths/depths. Even something as basic as swapping legs for a different type of leg hardly ever works, because they flat-out don't fit. It's frustrating as fuck, they could've been great.I'm convinced they're only popular among the 20-something-year-old portion of the fanbase, because they all grew up with Bionicles and these remind them of those
>>9783473Unless they want to rehash yet another 1984 Prime every year for perpetuity until the heat death of the universe, at some point they'll have to do a Powermaster Prime/Ginrai mold.It seems to be nearly as popular as Laser Optimus Prime, so I say give it a year or two and we'll likely see one. If Hasbro has any sense, they'll let 84 Prime lie low for a few years.
>mfw after all this time I finally get Twin Twist>>978362930, and I love the modular figures. IMO best way to make partsformers, and you're right about the Bionicle comparison.
>>9783618With that headsculpt, I wish they'd done the chest in G1 Grimlock colours.
>>9783290Baytrash aesthetic is objectively too busy and too western. Plots were derivitave dribble across all films. Glad the last film went out with a whimper. Devastator balls can singularly and subjectively prove American movie taste is dogshit. Bay is too full of himself. Glad his exploding garbage is done shitting up movie theaters and the franchise as a whole. Knightverse however has been putting in good work bringing the brand back in line. Knight chads are of superior taste and pull way more pussy. No proof of argument needed on indisputable facts.
Is legacy Galvatron different in any way to the previous one? Did they fix the shoulder issue?
>>9783639Yeah shoulder's been fixed for pretty much every version except the first oneBut honestly, it's not noticable at all. Put him in a dynamic pose where he's aiming his cannon, and you won't even bat an eyelid. It's a fuckup, but it's hardly the end of the world

>>9783819My Banzaitron is fine. Just been sitting on a shelf looking pretty. Not sure what the melting conditions are but it's not a guarantee that it's going to melt/disintegrate.
>>9783629The official modes are pretty much fanmodes in quality so it is better as a construction toy.
>>9783853But which mode would be represented, his robot’s modes or their pretender shells being the robot modes, and forming together into the big guy, also I think shitbro will likely shaft the upper or lower waist guy to make him a 5 part combiner unfortunately like they have currently done with that awful Liokaiser
>>9783972Oh, the core class gets has their shells turn into robots then Monstructor, while the Titan set has them all as their inner selves.
>>9783473Just regular ginrai, or one with his super mode?
>>9783976And I am guessing the Titan one will get a Dinoking repaint, while the core class can’t get anything due to how expensive it would be for all that remolding for a combiner w lot less people care about

I really like my MP Soundwave.
>>9784015Shitbro has already shown their general disdain for non Devy 6party combiners with how they massacred Kaiser, so I feel like he would be nuked w member and especially in design with making one member giant vs the rest unfortunately, and I don’t expect third party guys to do full shells for each member that is posable, especially different ones for the Dinoking ones
>>9783618I like your lighting, all the colors look way more subdued and better.
>>9784014Those are qc rejects that factory workers steal and sell them early.
>>9783682>cope in HDWhat kind of a weapon is two thighs and a pelvis? Even the official configurations just have you slapping half the toy onto the feet of another figure, which is not a weapon.>I...if you buy seventeen of them you can make something thoughfucking retard
>>9783789The GDO wave got overproduced a little because when Hasbro said it was asia only people complained and had them make a ton more. Thena lot of those got replacements.
>>9783994So are there Transformers that have an actually good jet mode if this is "above average"?
>>9784062>What kind of a weapon is two thighs and a pelvis? They're connectors to make over-the-shoulder cannons. The elevator shoes are for stability.
>>9784066Maverick has a clean jetmode, same for movie Mindwipe, Generations "delta wing" Scourge still the champ tho.
>>9784015But blindanon, the monstructor on that pic has 6 members.
>>9784090Master Builders? More like Masturbaters
>>9784092Very Stank 6 members configuration, would need 2 very new types of mold and general transformation for CW type transformation guys in the middle, and potentially new ones for all the other ones as well, which Hasbro likely isn’t willing to spend on Monstructor of all guys>Pic Related is another fix up guy
>>9784066Jesus christ if that's above average he needs to get higher fucking standards, the entire front fuselage just isn't there, it's a fucking empty shell that only looks good when viewed from above, the wings are way too far back and look goddamn awful and let's not forget the giant cube of kibble at the bottom they literally couldn't figure out how to square away so it's just there. This is from the same people who gave us Cyclonus, I know money is tight but that doesn't excuse any of this. The bot mode is good, I'll give him that, but I swear I can see bits of it yellow already in that video, but who can really say for sure given HOW FUCKING HIGH HE HAS THE GODDAMN CONTRAST TURNED UP. JESUS.>So are there Transformers that have an actually good jet mode Well, Cyclonus for a start. The only downside is that he has SEVERE yellowing problems apparently, but that's not really visible in the Plane mode. But between this and Blitzwings jetmode and how fucking lazy Springers Helicopter mode looks it seems like Legacy is the one where they fucking mail it in with flying alt forms. A strange hill to die on, but whatever.

>>9784147Nope, Armada Starscream is a new mold (was meant for F-22 from cancelled game design)
>>9784150Imagine each one being more non traditional for shape, or would the robot/main mode be the pretender versions while the alt mode is the dumber monster/pretender shell as the alt mode

>>9784160Hope they make a new Universe Ramjet out of him.
>>9784147If anything, this one would probably be remolded into pic related, MW Starscream, or Thunderwing.
>>9784169Or maybe this guy if they want to throw a curveball.
On the topic of Starscreams, why hasn't any bootleggers gone ham with the Earthrise Seeker mold yet? I expected there to at least be a Sunstorm by now.
>>9784169See I definitely think it’s gonna be retooled into skyquake but not as simple as the digibash implies I think if Hasbro makes a skyquake, they’ll do it the same way Newage made a Depth-Charge figure out of their Cyclonus, simply by reversing it. Clusterfuck of am image pic related may be, I tihnk it works Or just make it a G1 style TFP Skyquake and just change a couple bits to make it more real jet like I dunno, either way it could work
>>9784179Remakes are fun because it is hard to tell if that is advertising a future release or not.
>>9784178Why would they? it's fucking terrible.
So Pretenders are a rip-off of the movie Terminator?
>>9784179Tf prime skyquake would work well
>>9784224No, the original concept was power up armor, not a shell. They were going to be more like saint seiya
Still waiting for Legacy Tarantulas. Also, we get anything about Legacy BW Inferno? Or is our only image of him getting fucking chainsawed in half still?
>>9784234>Or is our only image of him getting fucking chainsawed in half still?Yup
>>9784113imagine turning into a pelvisyou have to be a really flamboyant individual to pull that off. always be doing hipthrusts at all times to take attention away from making the most boring part of the robot. even with a huge spiked codpiece
>>9784127jets have always sucked, but helicopters have a lot less excuse.
>>9784146>>9784148>that fucking goofy hotdog jetit's like.. if a normal jet fighter is an eagle, this is a parrot.
>>9784243Sure... but in Springers case there's at least one good version of him that does all three modes relatively well. They already KNEW how to make Springer's Helicopter mode work and they just... fucking didn't. It's literally just the front half of the car with the legs rearranged. They barely fucking TRY to hide the front wheels! This from the same people who went to all the fucking trouble of making Hot Rods wheels split for his recent Voyager! It's like they felt that they HAD to toss the Helicopter mode under the bus and doubled down on it. I wish they had retooled the T30 and called it day.
>>9784179I kind of wonder how much money it legitimately saves to recycle a transformation scheme but with all new parts.at this point there's 40 years of transformation schemes to copy, are they really having trouble thinking of some?
>>9784249yeah it's pretty baffling. I don't pay much attention to vehicle dudes but this springer is a big deal, i've seen lots of attention paid to him, and in my opinion both of his previous recent toys were excellent in their own ways.
>>9784259Kup, you need to stop!
So, what'd yall think of the Victory Sabre presentation? Im not really attached to the character, but looks about siege Jetfire height.
>>9784287I was pretty impressed, more than I though I'd be.It's basically a more functional version of the MP
>>9784287I always appreciate seeing designers just sit and talk about their stuff, without any of the marketing fanfare so in that way the presentation was kind of genius, like hasbro doing their own early video review, and the guy seemed a lot more chill/less annoying than most shitty youtube toy reviewers so I give him that. It even kinda made me regret passing on the set. I still think Victory Saber is kind of a lame combined mode but Star Saber and Victory Leo are both pretty neat individually, and the fact that other figures can wear the wing pack is a cool extra, even if the platform shoes aren't compatible with any other figures "for now", whatever that means
>>9784287It's ok, they added a ton of good things, Star Saber barely has abduction movement for the shoulders and it annoys me immensely. The sword being clear was something I already knew about, but the connection for it being so flimsy only makes me more worried that it could snap whenever I try to remove it so I have to pray the tolerance for that area is basically perfect.
>>9784276Oh nice, he’s got hinged fingers. Has Jhiaxus ever held the matrix or is that just something they’re doing for more voyagers now?
>>9783994He looks pretty friggin great honestly, space jet mode is a little wonky but I don't hate it, and I'm just impressed at how clean and solid that robot mode is. I don't think I saw a single major hollow area and it still manages to be sizable. Opening hands is also a nice touch>>9784172This works entirely too well
>>9784328A lot of people are saying it's for a remold/partial remold as Thunderwing .Armada Starscream isn't sharing molds with Jhiaxus from what we've heard rumored, right?
>>9784287Throughout the video, the designer mentioned areas that parts clearance was taken into account prevent other areas that could scratch painted parts of the figure. The only thing I'm concerned about is the gold foil that is going to be on Saber's jet mode for Star Saber getting scratched up when you dock with the V-star for the combined jet mode.
>>9784224they were meant to compete with MOTU
>>9784334what does thunderwing need hinged fingers for? This stuff interests me
>>9784334>A lot of people are saying it's for a remold/partial remold as Thunderwing .If you watch the video, you can tell exactly how they'll do it. Before you fold the chest down and the arms in, there's a significant gap of space that seems perfect for the inner robot to connect. Also the little black squares on his chest line up with thunderwings, and the folding up of the wings make sense considering how Thunderwing's pretty much disappears, while Jhiaxus' are usually pretty visible. In fact, from the back, his wings are substantially visible in the comic. It seems like a very strange choice unless they intent was another figure.
>>9784370To hold matrix as Thunderwing.
>>9784169I'm already going to Jhiaxus but I would bu two Skyquakes and MW Starscream
>>9784378boy a lot of dudes get their mitts on that thing don't theysurprised they havent pushed any heroic important prophecied grrlbot who has her own, better matrix or something. it'd be funny seeing boobycups open up and reveal that thing
Welp, got the Legacy Laser Prime. Worse than I expected, I knew he'd be bad but I didn't know the sides of the truck (which I know are painted) tab into bits once they form the sides of the torso, meaning the paint will chip right off and will be noticeable in vehicle mode. Also expected, the painted black on the toy is two different colors, the one ones for the truck nose are black while the rest is almost a dark grey or something. Head barely moves thanks to the paint and it pops off really easily since the neck has no clearance.
>>9784390Thoughts on the arms?
>>9784392Nothing that hasn't been said before, it sucks. It's not even that the shoulder articulation is separate from the pylons, it's the fact that the shoulder is way too low and it looks awkward as hell in most poses. It feels like this guy was designed by someone who's never worked on Transformers before. The only praise I can give it is the trailer, despite being gimped beyond belief, it's still decent enough.

>>9784066>>9784127>>9784623Jhiaxus' alt mode is damn near perfect, the fuck did you expect it to look like? Even the undercarriage is comic accurate. The omly thing missing is the thruster on the tailfin.
I spent so much money on these fucking Kingdom Beast Wars Transformers figures. They're at least more impressive than these Legacy figures so far and don't feel as cheap. I'm sick of shitty things costing so much.
Jhiaxus just looks like a block with wings. The figure's a joke.
How come I am seeing Legacy on the shelves but I still haven't seen SS Soundwave or Brawn or any of them? Didn't they come out much earlier?
How Jhiaxus is supposed to transform>Nosecone flips up to reveal downward pointing face.>Head and a strip of his undercarriage swings to line his face up with the cockpit>legs form the sides of the bomber mode and swing out and down for robot mode>rear part of cockpit, ship side, wings, and tailfin mounted thruster folds down to form the back and arms>Wings slide up against tailfin thrusterInstead they went with basically a seeker transformation, because Jhiaxus is a fancy seeker.Lore-wise it makes sense, but lookwise it doesn't.But hey, 50% of a good jhiaxus toy is about 25% more than we've ever gotten, so...

I KNOW THIS FUCKING TRANSFORMATION. It's LITERALLY step for step Skytread/Slamdance's top halfs! The only thing that's different is that they added legs to it, AND LO AND FUCKING BEHOLD it's the legs/engines part of this transformation that actually looks all right!Sweet fucking christ I'm talking about HALF a Deluxe class Duocon here, it has a transformation from something literally a quarter of it's price point, maybe less! It is completely baffling how they just left it like this. >>9785034ok that... you make a good point. i dont see any problem with that IF it was in the fiction, but its still considerably less fun. i frankly don't see the point in it.
Just picked up Legacy Lift-Ticket for $20 at a flea-market. The guy said someone brought it in because it wasn't Trailbreaker, and he traded it in for $10, so yeah.
>>9785010>>9785057I reckon partsforming is great fun on the occasional figure like the fossilisers, where the whole gimmick is that they tear themselves to pieces and build back up. I do agree though that there are some figures with partsforming that feel more like the designer just couldn’t figure out what to do with a chunk of the vehicle.
>>9785034NTA but I'll be real, I never liked Omega Supreme. He's a cool robot design but his transformation is too partsformy, and coupled with the fact his most mobile portion is his arms (with most of his body being immobile in alt mode) he just seemed too impractical as a TF to me. Personally I think the best version of OS is the Animated incarnation, although the Energon design was cool too.
>>9784900>>9784997I hate partsforming, but love weaponizers/fossilizers. My compromise is to just make alt modes that dont partsform. Why haven't we gotten a Barricade based off of his Evergreen design? >B-b-but the WFC figs Black and Purple Prowl is not the Evergreen design
>>9785625Because evergreen was a mistake
>>9785372I don't have Legacy Prime, but I do have Siege Prime and the original Laser Prime. Siege Prime is pretty close to Legacy, since Legacy's legs are obviously a retool of the former's and the trailer hitch port is in a similar spot in truck mode. Having tried it out, it only half works. The peg fits in the hole fine, but the hitch is too far forward and the trailer is practically touching the cab. So Siege Prime can technically pull the trailer, but he's only going to be making incredibly shallow turns with it. Legacy Prime likely won't be much different.

>>9785719The torso isn't hollow, there's a wall right behind the clear yellow chest and its fully painted silver so the chest stays bright. probably the only part about it I like better than the TR
>>9785738That's interesting. I tend to get fixated on redundant engineering in TFs that for whatever reason still makes it to the final figure (not whatever reason, obvs cost factor) and I thought we had a case of it here with what looks like a hinged door that is locked in place. (When I say redundant engineering I mean things like CHUG Galvatrons shoulder hook or the pilotless Transmetal 2 cockpits - which may have been more to do with redundant lore.)TL;DR: I'm kind of retarded.
>>9784172>Consider.Real talk, does anyone actually want this? >>9785714yeah they loved watersquirts but that, to me, doesn't look like one.>>9785718you know what, that's fair. and weird. but it still KIND OF transformed, right?
>>9785855I have a feeling he was originally going to be Starscream early in development, IIRC the first trailer showed him in Screamier colours. Regardless, it's basically because killing a major character like Starscream that early on would have put sequel plans on the rocks, and the average moviegoer neither knows nor cares who Blitzwing is. Though honestly it's hardly the worst nameslap ever- Ramjet would have been more appropriate admittedly but given they never even call him by name in the movie it doesn't really matter. Transformers Generations Combiner Wars ThundercrackerThe small version. Since CW had two Thundercrackers. He's on the large end of Core class, we called it Legends class back in the day, and rocks a very Thundercracker-y colour scheme. For some reason Hasbro always get's Thundercracker's colours right when they might otherwise fumble a bit with Starscream. The red and white on the wings and that clean and crisp silver is so good. >>9786066I think the bulk of the ambulance scrunching down into this relatively skinny body is the mistake
>>9786083there's no good way to do any kind of largely-hollow vehicle especially in these movies striving for realism and not having size-changing (... except when they do. but those all seem to be their own special sub-class.). You have to just have the big empty thin-walled rear area collapse down into nothing.. or the big roomy interior of a gay little smart car, those too.. if the toys ignore that impetus and instead fill that hollow space with robot parts (which i mean how would they not), any visible vehicle parts will now be out of scale, since they'll be smaller on the toy of the robot than the robot mode looks in the movie.

>>9786192Yeah I like the car too. Not a huge fan of the red stripes because they emphasize how boxy he is, but hopefully repro will give us some vintage racing livery to fix that. I had to paint the wheels and clips cause they look like shit, but that's just business as usual these days. The only part that really bothers me is that they didn't paint the front of this cone section. Overall, still a sweet car mode. Nice homage to a super cool racecar.
>>9786236Becuase they assume the types to commit eye sudoko with them aren’t buying them (Children who have their diet be 50% water lead)
>>9786236Not for 6 year old children
>>9786243Oh, forgot to mention, I'm not sure where they could hide his head, but it's a bummer that they didn't make the driver's seat work for a titan/headmaster. That would have been cool.
Since we're talking about weaponizers, maybe anon can help. The left leg on my Brunt and a few of my fossilizers are very loose. It makes making the combined fossilizer a nightmare as it will wiggle apart in an instant. Any way to fix this?
>>9786261yes butthis isn't youtube. who decides which toys are "for kids" and thus subject to toy-ruining regulations? There's no special labeling, and they share the same shelves. same franchises.
>>9786281you either put floor polish in the joint to tighten it or to loosen it. I think tighten. because it dries to a thin sticky film that adds friction. yeah and then like, you put grease in a joint to loosen itsome people say to put superglue into a joint and then wiggle it like mad until the glue dries, so that it can't fuse the joint shut, but that terrifies me. i've seen dry superglue still fuse things together. it's cyanoacryLATE, not cyanoacryontime.
>>9786146>>9786151the rubber parts on him are degrading so if you haven't disassembled yours, the plastic around the rubber treads has probably already irreparably melted.
>>9786291I'll give floor polish a try. I know it's not a crazy expensive figure but I'd hate to damage any of my dudes
>>9786304Mine was still pretty fine as of September
One shit Anon is trying to redurect the tards back into here vs the containment threadsBut yeah, surprised nobody has done a silver Trypticon repaint
>>9786281Use a toothpick to apply small drops to friction points, it flows easily into small gaps and excess can be wiped clean. Move the joint around to get the gloss in, it needs a few hours to dry. If one application isn't enough, do another. I've used it on nearly every toy I own, it's barely noticeable unless it gets wet.I am strongly against using super glue for joints, it's just too risky, but you can fix loose 5mm ports and posts with a very small touch of brush-on JB Super Weld. Let it dry fully, of course, before testing.
>>9786328Wondering what a smooth gloss looks like vs rough regular plastic
>>9786328Pledge discontinued that. You have to find a different floor polish to recommend
Yeah this thing may well be the thing that breaks one guy, anyways how likely do you think a new toy, TP or official of Signal Flare would be
>>9786375Did they? Shit. At least I have a lifetime supply.
>>9786311okay but look it up first to make sure i got it rightmost of the time I Just like cram a piece of tape in there when I get a loose joint.
>>9786375>>9786412>REVIVE IT has been discontinuedpiss
>>9786412Amusingly, scalpers are the only way to get it now. Fits the hobby I guess
>>9786412My one bottle will probably be a lifetime supplyFor sure it will last long enough until a definitive replacement comes around
>>9786445Golden GAC 200 gloss medium is basically the same thing as the pledge but much higher quality and lasts longer.
>>9786473And once again I'm proven correct
>>9786475Pledge has always just been a low-grade acrylic polymer coating for flooring, artists acrylic mediums are that only in much higher quality that won't yellow the plastic over time like the Pledge occasionally would. Thin with water as needed and just apply it in thin coats, allowing it to dry inbetween. I usually do 2-3.
>>9786491>all this time people have just been clearcoating their floors
>>9786565gettin a little overzealous, mein katzen.but you technically have a point, since every thread begins as a spam thread as long as people don't have the balls to make a new legit thread themselves.
>>9786491What does "as needed" mean in the context of a substance I have no knowledge of or experience with?
>>9786709As much as you need
>>9786709The stuff comes thicker than the pledge so you need to add the smallest amount of water possible (cause you don't want to dilute it any more than necessary) to get it to be a good brushable consistency. It doesn't have to be perfect since you're not going to see it of course. If you're nervous I recommend taking a paper plate or something similar and experimenting with it first so you kinda get a feel for it. It's very forgiving though, the worst that can happen if you thin it too much is you'll just need to do more coats.
>>9786433>>9786328Not sure if you'll read this anon but it worked perfectly
>>9786742i'm glad my half-baked repeated advice from others worked out!
>>9786739Alright, that all sounds good. Will probably pick up a bottle soon. Thanks for the tip.
>>9786146I would have bought that 3rd party guy based on this design, but apparently it's a bit fragile and the actual skull faceplate was an exclusive. I just want a cool Bludgeon...
>>9787138my favourite bludgeon isnt even a bludgeon. It's RID Blastwave
>>9787176Trying to think what his backstory could be..Autobot who crashlanded in Feudal Japan and protected people until he ran out of energy/died, only to be revived in the current day as a skeletal warrior?
>>9783103Most accessories fit. They're all 5mm pegs and wholes
>>9787275Too small. but he'll have to do.
>pvp has OverrideNice sauce: his yt comment section
>>9787450Override is the one who is most mysterious. Will it be "Elita-1, but red"? Reworking of Hot Rod like that one third party one? Actually new mold? Or actually a Triggerbot? Plus the whole "male/female" thing. Maybe they are going to be cheeky and have Override version have painted lipstick because girl while having a Nitro Prime release later that if you headswap the two you have Nitro Convoy.
>TFSource """""sale""""">charges $40 for a voyager, and cuts the price down to still-higher than retail>>9787487>Override version have painted lipstick because girl while having a Nitro Prime release later that if you headswap the two you have Nitro ConvoyThey'll just say Nitro Prime likes to wear lipstick, just to get in bed with progressives
>>9787491>charges $40 for a voyagerIs that voyager easy to find? they might be charging you late or early tax.
>>9787487SS86 Hot Rod remold with new guns etc. at least we were told this by leakers.
>>9787495It's Tigatron, which I already have, I just felt like complaining to complain on a fine monday like today
>>9787504At least it's a better toy than Rhinox, them putting Rhinox's sale price at exactly retail is the real crime>inb4 oh but i love kingdom rhinox its soooooo goooooood, it revolutionizes how transformers shoulders should be designed
>>9787491It's TFSource, they overcharge for almost everything and their sale prices usually can barely be called discounts.
>>9787491The only real eye-openers TFSource provides is their quarterly leaking of credit card information
>>9787504>TigatronI just bought him for $15 at target
>>9787450Info from tfw>newish mold, you can't see it was HR remold>spoiler gun like old toy>close to cartoon lookPic tomorrow, review wendsday/thursday
>NEW new thread is baleet>this thread on page 8okay.. can we maybe make a new legit thread now please. 8 is enough, right? get in before he makes another
>>9787886I would, but the other thread is actually talking about toys and yellowing plastic now, so it might be deleted
>>9787917oh the other-other-other thread is still up? well it was shit to start, so ignore it. make a new new thread.
>>9787886>>9787917>>9787930Spamming threads to punish go-anon is no way to live.
>>9787930Why? It turned into a decent thread after a while.
>>9787930I'll get yelled at, you do it>>9787935Well, it's out of my power to make prices/distribution in the UK even WORSE
>>9787950>I'll get yelled at, you do itanon that's exactly what's stopping ME from doin it!>>9787936my left ass it did
>>9787971>anon that's exactly what's stopping ME from doin it!But I'M stopping me from doing it
I'll make it if someone updates the pastebins with the new figures.
>>9787978shit how do you do thati'd be happy to but I don't know how
I spent some time yesterday making another checklist, for Studio SeriesI'll post it in the next good thread
Late g1 designs be like "transformation where the bots inflate their limbs then they accomodate into car mode" like damn, Arcee goes from thin and sporty girl to planetoid crushing thighs in one of the frames in the movie.Makes me wonder if there's a toy (3p included) that does incorporate her thighs into her transformation.
>>9788391it'd be pretty swell if you just made a new one right now
>>9788401Given the chug parts count, the closest thing i can think of is something like the thigh pieces splitting in half to form the back sides of the car mode while storing the wheels there, but i feel like that would mean no thigh rotations.
Holy shit guy who told me about that lego mech, you are awesome. it's only half built and already I love this thing. it has actual popliteal pistons.. in a lego. and it's gigantic.
>>9788454I'm that anon, if you like the Zane titan mech I presume you are building currently you'll also like the upcoming Nya Samurai X mech. It's bigger and with the new joints more poseable.
>>9788513I do! it's even in my favorite colors. In fact... >blue and gold and black with red accents>jagged gold bladesit appears to be inspired by my favorite zoid. and look at those fingers!so without getting us too offtopic, what should i know as a collecting-legos-now-maybe guy, are discounts gonna happen in some predictable way...
>>9788519oh i forgot>X in the name
>>9788391Maybe that's why there's such a crossover between the kinksters and Transformers. There's also this scene on Junk where the animators which looks like complete nonsense but is actually following how Arcee's transformation model sheet says to do it.
>>9788519Depends on whether any stores close to you that stocks it goes on sale but lego sets do get discounts, lego store usually don't so I won't recommend that. It's not out yet and when it does you have a time window of 1-2 years for the thing to go on a discount (i.e any time between the day it comes out til the day it gets discontinued and won't be reprinted anymore which is usually 1-2 years after the release date) so no need to rush.
>>9788529ahh okay, thanks. I'll keep an eye out at target in 2023it's about fucking time lego figures out what we really want and delivers. i don't even hate these little character guys, got some creepy skull ghosts and some decent looking kinda power rangersy ninja dudes. beats the hell out of exoforce or whatever, where they had cringey fake canadian anime designs
>>9788530It comes out this summer so you may have a chance to get it on black friday this year. But just keep a sharp eye on it even all the way to 2023.
okay when I wake up I expect a new legit thread.

>>9789114>Hot Rod remoldI wonder where leakers saw it.
>>9789041ohh i assumed we'd be editing the existing one.okay i'll.. try to do this later, and then you'll make us a legit new thread
>>9789114I like it. Not overly familiar with the character or the actual show they're from, but a quick wiki search says that they were female in the English dub and male in the original Japanese. Any idea which way they're going for this iteration?
