These two in Pic related can both be described as minky but there are differences between them that are very hard to put into words.I'd say a good thing to look out for is a minky smooth texture. At the same time, I know some people are really into fluffy or furry plushies. Aside from texture, I'd say the most important thing is getting plushies that are stuffed well. This ensures that they will be enjoyable to hug for a long time.

What is the general consensus on AliExpress plushes? There's this unofficial plush of the Ruin Seeker from Tunic all over Ali but there's no information on it anywhere, no non-stock photos, no reviews, no anything. The prices vary significantly too but generally it's about $10 which seems suspiciously cheap even if it is just 12 inches. I've seen quite a few good looking plushes on Ali before and even though I've always been skeptical of them this is the first time I actually want one. Given that it's a chinese no-brand product I assume the quality is a total lottery but what are the chances of getting something that actually looks almost like the stock pics?

Gund has some Peter Rabbit plushes available that look to be a good fit for what you're looking for. Along with other rabbits (it was just Easter, so it's a good time if you want a full rabbit theme)Other than that, it's worth looking in thrift stores or small brands because they have the style you want. I don't know how big the mushroom and rabbit are but I think it would be cool to pick up a Calico Critters mice family to also live in the scene. Not plush, but they are very cute and would look nice with a little house. Sorry for the long post. I really like this idea! Send pictures if you ever do end up making it :-)

>>9753932Thank you. The scooby actually came from a thrift store and it's one of the best scooby plushies I've seen. It's around 20 inches tall and it's a nice shape to cuddle. It's also really well stuffed. Most scooby plushies I've found are either really floppy or carnival prizes stuffed with Styrofoam but this one has genuine stuffing. Its good condition is even more impressive considering the tag says its from 1998. During that same visit, I also got this nice big rapunzel one. This is my Wuffi (pronounced Voo-Fee), he's literally as old as me (20). He used to be a bit fatter but I used to be an active kid so often he'd burst open and my grandma needed to give him a new skin. I love him dearly though. Will post a picture of him in pilot uniform

I got this really rare pocahontas plush recently. I think I only saw her online one other time. What makes her very unique is that her dress is actually minky and soft unlike every other princess plush. I really wish they did this with all of them.

What is the softest plush you all have ever felt in your life? For me, I'd say it's this sailor moon one. There are many contenders but the thing about her is that basically every part of her is soft, including her clothes.

I got a really nice big stuffed dog today. I'll send a picture tomorrow. What really strikes me is the sand it has on the bottom inside it. Even though it's stuffed a little loosely, it gives the plush a really strong feeling.
