Random question, but what voice do you guys prefer for Wreck-Gar? Eric Idle (Movie Wreck-gar), Tony Pope (G1 Season 3), or Weird Al Yankovic (Animated)? Also, what's your preferred alt mode for him - classic motorcycle or garbage truck?
>>
>>9557643
There were a ton that swapped sex upon transformation in Beast Wars (Airazor, Tigatron, Inferno, Waspinator, Transquito, possibly Megatron and Dinobot, given they're based off of the dinos from Jurassic Park and Megs' skull is shaped closer to an actual female Rex's, and possibly more). The question, however, was for a Transformer that ONLY changes gender, and nothing else. It's a shitpost not worth responding to, anon.

>>
>>9557679
Scorponok? Was he around then?
>>
>>9557647
Both Idle and Yankovic are great. As for his alt mode, I also really like both. I wish I had a G1 Wreck-Gar, he's pretty much the same size as the SS86 and Animated toys and the three of them would look pretty cool together.
>>
>>9557647
Eric Idle. The TV version just reminds me too much of the Genie from Aladdin and Weird Al is just Weird Al (unlike when he was Dollmaker in Batman vs Robin).
>>
>>9557686
Scorponok already was the opposite of Fortress Maximus.
>>
>>9557653
What likely happened is that they were considering Road Rcoket during the development, but the first priority was still Arcee. The legs are obviously more inspired by Prime Arcee, the biceps an thighs are too round, the shoulders aren't remotely the same, and the back flaps are clearly from Prime Arcee.
>>9557657
I could see this as a possibility. Flame print top bimbo from Timelines is the superior Flamewar though.

The problem is that while in your pic, that grey is a wash that doesn't completely obstruct the white of the scales underneath, what they did to KD Grimlock was just slather the stuff on, resulting in him getting covered in a smear of off-putting grey that clashes with the design instead of accentuating it. No matter how you look at it, it was laziness and clumsiness.
>>
>>9558109
I can't find the picture anymore, but at the time it came out, someone posted a raptor picture that was 100% used as the basis for kingdom grimlock. same awkward upper-black, same gray arms and feet and lower jaw, same broken tail streaks. and it had feathers. This featherless JP toy might also have been based on that same reference except changing it more intelligently, since they both have the same 'mask'

I've seen plenty of feather raptor looks that would look fine on a scaleraptor. that JP one looks fine, the gradienting helps. and what are clearly feather-stripes are at least a decent substitute for skin stripes.
no, the dumb part is whenever you see these ones that are all black white and red, because some dickdouche got a bunch of paleofags to believe that there's such a thing as a fossil with good enough resolution to record the shape of pigment molecules (hint: this would require something smaller than molecules), and "revealed" that the pigments found are red and black... otherwise known as -the pigments that exist in animals-
doesn't stop them from coming in other colors. all these people don't understand iridescence, scattering, the effect of blood under the skin, or any of that.

So I just found out progressive woketards think the Transmutate episode was problematic and ablist or whatever because I didn't realize Chris McFreely put political shit in his videos. It's the irst video I saw of his in literal years because it popped up on my feed and I loved the transmutate episode so much and still do.

Then I saw Thew's top 10 video which I enjoyed but he just randomly mentions trannies at the end. I'm so tired.

I thought I was OK with people having different beliefs as me but it always oozes into their videos or communities for the most unrelated shit ever. Or even the official media.

Without regard for who they eventually turned into, I feel the Soundwave toy would've made more sense to be the main villain him being the tallest and with the minion cassettes being his personal henchmen he be pretty imposing, plus his face is close to the Decepticon logo.

I'm always, always hearing stories about all these tolerant, caring bleeding hearts expressing frustration and shock at how these types accuse them just as hard as their enemies. That one old black dude who famously had all kinds of useful talks with people as unlikely as the head of the KKK, finding common ground, and these modern young people just would not actually communicate, all they did was screech and call him racist against his own race.

True, and it is certainly more evil than a mini cassette player, but if he has to rely on somebody else to hold him in vehicle mode, I just see the toy ending up as a second in command type, that the evil leader uses as a weapon.

That's a really cool idea for the Microchange Revolver, I wonder if he'll ever appear substantially in future media at some point.

OG Transmutate was just a good scifi story about a fucked up robot and the moral dilemmas surrounding her and her relationship with 2 other characters. And I sincerely doubt this Scottish fuck knew the intent of Uprising Transmutate which he assumes was to correct the problematic aspects (which is total bullshit) OG Transmutate. Although the autism parallels were there it just felt like a what if story. Also she has tits and sex appeal shouldn't she still be problematic to these weirdos? These people unironically see the world as black and white as an 80's cartoon. Which is why this episode was too much for them so they just resort to: "HURRRDURR NON RETARDS SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF RETARDS IS BAD’ Which is just so retarded and detached from anything but their own fucked up idealogy.

They misconstrued his words-- he comments that the episode is "poorly aged" because Transmutate's disability is framed from an ableist point of view: Transmutate is a prop to make the audience sad, rather than to let it be a character with its own agency, and mostly it's this focus that made FunPub's take go with a version that could be treated more as its own character.

I disagree with literally every single thing you just posted. I did not misconstrue his words. The episode aged like wine. Transmutate was not offensive to mentally retarded people or whatever ablism is even supposed to be. Transmutate is a beautiful and poignant tragic character. And yes tragic characters ar supposed to make us feel because people who aren't ass deep in progressive idealogies have hearts and can experience sadness, pain, loss, grief, hurt through empathizing with a character such as transmutate, but also Rampage was portrayed this way in the entire series especially this episode. Transmutate has agency, she is in the process of choosing between Rampage and Silverbolts friendship and chooses to sacrifice herself to save them from killing eachother. You are a heartless monster.

Here's the full comment:
>Some of the comments on today's video are making me regret some of my word-choices; as a neurotypical person I can't speak for anyone on the spectrum, but I'd like to take a minute to better explain it, based on discussion and conversation I've seen surrounding in the episode in the many years since it aired. Rather than "aged poorly," I should really have said the original "Transmutate" episode was "a product of its time." The way I described it makes it sound like the issue is the presence of the euthanasia allegory in the story, but that's not how I meant it to come across; I should have more clearly communicated that the problem is that it is a disability allegory in which the disabled character is a prop for other characters to have arguments about and feelings over. The only agency the plot allows Transmutate is the choice that kills her, in order for the abled characters to feel sad about her. Several commenters have noted that the arguments the characters have are realistic ones that real-life people sadly have, treating disabled people as if they were not full people, and that's perfectly true and almost certainly what the episode was intended to reflect - but that's where the issue lies. It is a story about disability by and about abled people, to make abled people feel sad. This doesn't mean it's not a tragic, touching story that genuinely emotionally affected viewers, nor does it mean you are "bad" if you found it affecting, it's just a very common way media tells stories about disability - by framing disability from the perspectives and feelings of the abled characters, rather than the disabled characters themselves. Additionally, discussing this subject matter in the video wasn't a case of me airing my personal views on the original episode, but me attempting to sum up why the "Beast Wars Uprising" writers made the choices they made in reinventing Transmutate.
Continued next post
>>
>>9558231
Holy shit, that's fucking hilarious.
>>
>>9558234
> The BWU story purposefully does what the original did not, making Transmutate disabled but giving her agency of her own, allowing her to make choices that drive the story, while still retaining the idea that others have treated her as "less-than" because of her condition, but not making it about those characters or their feellings the way the "Beast Wars" episode did. Though I might have failed to communicate this as clearly as I could have, I'm nonetheless very happy to see so many viewers on the spectrum discovering Transmutate and seeing themselves reflected in her!

if a bad part of my life was ever represented on TV, I'd be unhappy to be reminded of it, but I'd be fucking -pissed- if it was presented as something not so bad, that people without that problem should be grateful for because they can learn something. i wouldn't mind a lesson that says "fix these problems when you see them in other people's lives, please".. that's a good message. most of my problems are of that sort. Closest I can ever think was Beauty and the Beast with the message of "hey hot nerd girls, give the big hairy creature a try. there might be a really handsome dude with rockin long hair under that gruff exterior" except nobody really liked the prince anyway. why would a magical transformation leave him clean-shaven? it's turning him into a pubescent man and magically regenerating his body, so... he should have a beard, a foreskin, and his tonsils and appendix, yknow?

well that's the thing, and one of the reasons transmutate was kind of a terrible idea... transformers, mostly the bad guys but really any of them, are already pretty mentally unstable on average. Like the real hardcore serious kind where you flat-out don't see reality. it's both inappropriately serious and redundant with the ego issues they already tend to have (again, about half the time. the other half are humble good guys or even pathologically selfless to the point of rejecting help)

Just creating an entire new team would probably be a better idea than having new or alternate members for existing groups. And that Aerialbot helicopter was a bad idea for not even fitting the group's theme of being planes.

They're a neat concept but "we used these extra molds but colored them like the existing guy" ultimately cheapened the idea in the end. It attempted to please everybody and nobody at the same time. About the only one that wound up successful of the lot was Rook, and that's probably out of the strength of his toy being damn good. Worst was the chopper not just because of the theme not matching, but because he literally is just "placeholder Slingshot".

also the marbling effect is cool, a better choice than siege's battle damage paint on top. they could have pushed it a little further though as it's usually only in one spot so it seems out of place

considering that prowl's a police car it wouldn't surprise me if they were considering him as the main "good guy" early in production

we also know they were using prowl's design as far back as the car and cable pitch (pic related) so it could also be that prowl and soundwave were just the first toys they happened to have on hand when designing faction symbols

Soundwave being leader would have solved so many headaches as the franchise went on. On the other hand, as someone else pointed out, Megatron was the most expensive first year Decepticon, had the longest alt mode by far thanks to the accessories, and does turn into a gun, which is far more villainous than a recorder. The absolute truth though is Starscream should have been leader, only reason he couldn't be was because his toy was the designated army builder.

He's the Decepticons' version of Venom Snake - when Starscream goes MIA, he gets shadowplay'd into becoming just like him, and gets his face swapped out to look like him. His left arm is a rocket, and he has a habit of engaging Autobots in CQC, knocking them into Stasis Lock, then Fultoning them off to HQ where they get reprogrammed with Decepticon shell programs. Also has a fondness for hiding in cargo boxes.

https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Jetfire_(G1)#Notes

>When Hasbro launched the Transformers line on the European continent using the domestic subsidiaries of Milton Bradley in 1985, Optimus Prime was notably absent from the initial line-up and Jetfire was declared leader of the Autobots instead. He not only appeared in that function in a pack-in mini-comic, but Dutch comic book publisher Junior Press even changed Optimus Prime's name to "Jetfire" in their translated version of the Marvel Transformers comic until the Optimus Prime toy was released in Europe after all, and Junior Press corrected the name for subsequent issues. A commonly cited explanation for this is a trademark problem,[6] but a more likely theory suggests that an exclusive contract between Takara and French toy company Joustra, which allowed Joustra to release their own version of Takara's Diaclone line in Europe, initially made all the toys released by Joustra (which included the Optimus Prime sculpt) off-limits for the MB line-up until a deal was made between MB and Joustra.[7]

>We realize these are only springboards (and can serve to supplement the usable story ideas in the network presentation). Further story development depends on the direction of the series concept. Transformers Generations Thrilling 30s Brainstorm

When Hasbro had their brief foray into comic style toys.

Brainstorm appears as he always does, a light blue spaceship with a couple guns up front. Only now he's jacked up to voyager size.

He's got a little pilot that can sit inside the cockpit.
He's just a bit different than most headmasters, his arms are the sides of the head separated as panels. He comes off a bit skinny than typical.
He's got very limited posability, ball joint shoulders that only rotate, a limited ball neck and knees that only bend the wrong way.
Also he hasn't got a name.
Was Brainstorm even a headmaster in the comics? I can't remember.

>>9558621
I know I have some of those coming up.
>>
>>9558603
Technically 2/3rds of him did, with Ironhide and Prowl showing up in the Ark scene of Agenda. It doesn't really count of course. Hasbro even told them not to include the individual names of the Tripredacus characters due to the models not matching the toys. They were all named in the script.
>>
>>9558638

Zero points for guessing how the transformation works. He just stands up.
Brainstorm has never been complicated. Huge points to the back of the seat folding down into a SPDSTRINT panel.

Robot mode keeps the dynamic angles and swooshy lines of the vehicle . Which isn't saying much given how similar they are.
I think this is a good representation of Brainstorm's on-page appearance but it has been many moons since I've seen it.

I am a big fan of the blue, and the two tone grey and little bits of red really sell it.

>>9558648
>missing an arm
For some reason I want to say that's somewhat common.

>>9558649
To be fair, Brainstorm's only had like three toys in 33 years. And for new newcomers headmasters can be a niche interest.

>>9558654
>Weren't the original Headmasters Voyager sized?
I'd love to own some G1 headmasters to be able to tell you but I doubt they're this tall. Probably heftier though, this Brainstorm is a bit on the light side. Barely heavier than a modern voyager.

>Was Brainstorm even a headmaster in the comics? I can't remember.
Nope, they never got around to it, he was already a regular guy in MTMTE. They did say that Chromedome, Brainstorm, and Highbrow were named as that in the Institute (some terrifying government secrety science place) for uhhh, being smart? Hardhead's head is unironically hard, he was no scientist though.

If I remember right comic Brainstorm's personality was basically "What if the writer's tried to one-up Wheeljack in everyway?"
Which is to say he was a silly science man. Who may have also done some double agenting?

Even he if was a very silly science man Brainstorm still looks good rocking his iconic double long barrel hand guns.
And he can wield them pretty effectively given his amount of articulation.
Rotatey shoulders with quiet ratchets for outward movement. Biceps swivels and double elbows.
Now wrist rotation but can flex inwards a bit if that's what you're into. Not too far given there's a snazzy panel covering what would otherwise big a big forearm gap. Not that HasTak would ever let a toy through with that design oversight.

Legs can kick forward and back pretty unhindered. The skirt armor makes an effort to move but it does stop the leg from going straight out so the loud ass ratchets stop at about 60 degrees.
Swively thighs, bending knees and just the tiniest amount of ankle tilt.
Oh and a neck joint. which headmasters weren't known for having.

>>9558668
>he ever get like a repaint?
Not to my knowledge, just slightly different shades of blue depending which side of the Pacific you were on.

I'm kind of surprised that the Beast era never featured a mermaid transformer triple changer that would go from Robot mode to mermaid mode to full fish mode.
Or for comedy sake, make her a quad changer and have half fish mode (legs but fish face like a sharkticon with bayonetta legs)

There was no Galen (Nebulan) in Uprising but he was referenced with Galen Witwicky, Daniel and Llyra’s son. Also the final human partner to Fortress Maximus.

All Witwickys did learn their father’s secrets after bonding with Max and it was Cerebros who started to lose his identity after bonding with three generations and outliving them. This actually let them kill Scorponok by using his Zarak’s love for his daughter against him. Destroying the leviathan during the Scouring of Nebulos.

Cerebros became a chessmaster of sorts, might be because he “died” three times and outlived his “sons.”

Hubcap never had his full bio published but here it is:
>Profile: Hub Cap has everybody's friendship but nobody's trust. He is affable, witty, generous, even charming -- it is no wonder that his fellow Autobots find him such pleasant company. But he's also a con artist. He is likely to enthusiastically accept some work detail one moment and then try to sucker someone else into doing it the next. Or he might try to smooth talk a comrade into trading his weapon for an inferior one. Hub Cap is surprisingly effective at his scams. Perhaps it's the smiling, sincere way he talks or perhaps it's because he looks small and unthreatening. Whatever the case, Hub Cap is living proof of the old Cybertronian adage, "You can't tell an Autobot by it's finish."

>Abilities: Not only is Hub Cap adept at speaking, he's even better at listening. Equipment within his head module allows him to receive a broad spectrum of electromagnetic signals -- AM and FM radio, shortwave, UHF and VHF television broadcasts. He uses his phosphorescent windshield as a television screen when receiving TV signals. Amplifying circuits allow him to detect signals as weak as .000001 watts. His audio circuitry can hear a pin drop 500 yards away, and has a frequency range of 5 to 50,000 Hertz. In car mode, he can travel up to 90 mph and has a range of 1000 miles.

>Weaknesses: Hub Cap is physically among the weakest of the Autobots. Even low-speed crashes can result in severe damage to his body.

Some architecture-based ones would be rad too. They could do a pyramid, some columns, a temple, both European and Japanese castles, the leaning tower. Robot modes could be textured like stone statues, with designs based on their respective time periods, maybe even some wooden guys that turn into various ships. I reckon they’d be a great companion to the fossilisers.

>>

>We also don't know much about the new Ratchet
He's sort of the same, but less crazy. He went crazy during the war and is trying to create an unkillable breed of Autobot by torturously combining parts from dead Decepticons on living test subjects. He calls them his "patients".
And IDW SG Blaster isn't german. He's just normal Blaster but evil.
>>

>He's just normal Blaster but evil.
Is he still cool? I feel like a lot of these mirror universe stories just change characters entirely and they don't really act at all similar to their original selves, which I think would be more interesting.

Imagine if Goldbug was still lighthearted and friendly and made jokes, but he has zero empathy and is as nasty as the worst of us, showing no mercy, and prolonging the deaths of his enemies as he makes light hearted jokes at their expense, before he kills them.

Yeah I know the feeling anon. I collect alot of british and euro comics myself and there's usually no other choice than single english release that came out 12 years ago or original floppies/magazine release in french or something. I'm personally hoping that with IDW most likely losing the license and therefore the backlog of other comics in the next year, whoever picks it up will realize how well the Marvel stuff would sell. Especially with the throwback stuff like 84 selling so well compared to the actual mainline stuff.

IDW's TF offerings since like 2016 have been nosediving in readship, while the older stuff like MTMTE, LSotW, AHM, etc still gets reprinted and is still selling. If Skybound does get the license, I refuse to believe that they'll be dumb enough to leave that shit on the table for the rest of time. Even IDW reprinted War Within a few years after Dreamwave shut down because it was the only thing of value from that company.

I don't think it's possible to be worse than IDW's output since Dark Cybertron, honestly. There's writing badly and then there's writing with spite and Roberts was 100% writing with spite by the end. I'm just hoping that Skybound is the company to get it, purely because they're most likely to just hire Furman to write it from page one and hire Guidi or Milne or Collier again.
>>

>purely because they're most likely to just hire Furman to write it from page one and hire Guidi or Milne or Collier again.
Nice. Did Furman come up with "female Transformers can't just be a thing"?
>>
>>9560172
Yes, and considering what the tumblr fandom and the writers trying to appeal to them did with the concept, I have a feeling that gender as a whole will be thrown out. At least it would be nice to not have to deal with gender issues in a comic about fighting robots.
>>
>>9560195
Cool, but can we at least still have fembots?
>>
>>9560203
I hope so, I just don't want current year politics in my transformers comics. I just want more Wreckers with a team that isn't shit and more cool stuff like early IDW bringing in euroG1 and G2 character literal whos on both sides. Maybe good OCs like Turmoil too.
>>
>>9560213
Yeah. It'd also be nice if the G1.5-G2 guys didn't die immediately.
>>
>>9560213
I want 50s politics in my transformers comics. Arcee should be smarting off and whining that Optimus never lets her go on missions. and then finally she does, and makes a fool of herself
>>
>>9560241
The irritating thing is I think that schizo battle bitch Arcee was cool and based, just when they made it into what they did that it became unbearable. Like a character that is horrifically vivisected and rebuilt against their will that goes insane with vengeance? That's sick. No fucking clue why Roberts and co thought that it'd be a cool idea to hand wave a justification for others to see that and ape it, especially trying to imply that all it takes is seeing the concept of gender to instantly make people trans. Like I know the joke is that white british virtue signalling types don't understand how fucking offensive their attempts at being good allies are, but IDW felt like a fucking parody of it.

Transformers Reveal the Shield Battle in Space 2-Pack Cyclonus w/Nightstick

I wonder what character will appear tomorrow.

Oh universe Cyclonus, what a triumph you were in your day. And here it is in a more cohesive colour scheme. Withouth the blocks of grey breaking up the purple for no reason.

Unfortunate that he still has the gap in the center breaking up the fuselage. And that's really the only flaw you can lay against this mold. Other than that it's a iconic Cyclonus. A very long battle axe of a spaceship that fits nicely in the hand a nd swooshes through the air.

I keep forgetting that not only does this Cyclonus have Nightstick but that Nightstick is just standard with this mold. Every version has him.
As targetmasters go I guess he's not bad, pretty standard. Just a guy that folds up and flip out the entire gun barrel strapped to his back.

Robot mode was the priority here for sure. The way the body chunks come together to form curved shapes is so good.
A little bummed this is the RtS version so I get a rubsign instead of a regular decepti-badge.

Cyclonus feels a bit on the light side, not too out of place with modern deluxes. I'm a bit fuzzy on how he may have stacked up against his '08 contemporaries.
Two tone purple dominates the look here with very littler breaking it up.
Just the biceps and thighs, which give him that classic Transformers look of a guy wearing armor. The illusion extends a bit to his midsection where you see his silver abs and neckline showing from under his purple vest.

But what Cyclonus lacks in colour for the rest of his body he makes up for with his fiery red lightpiping that has no trouble catching light.

Articulation is nice but he shows his age.
Shoulders are fine, they move on their two axis.
Arms bend 90 at the elbow and have a below-elbow/wrist swivel.
Head turns fine, no up or down.
Biggest short coming; no bicep swivels. Which has to be a byproduct of how the arms deploy from the shoulder chunks.

Unhindered ball hips, thigh swivels, and good knees.
No ankles, no waist.
Universe Cyclonus has a very standard posability layout, and a very nice looking robot mode.
Unfortunately no matter how good this Cyclonus was for his time nowadays he has to compete with Kingdom Cyclonus. And that's something very few transform robos can do.

I wanted it back then but couldn't justify the two-pack costs for a Hot Rod I felt was a downgrade, and I actually like parts of the deco on the original release.
Also shows some wonderful "well that's what I expect from Hasbro" in it really

Price tags and descriptions are enough to go by:

-Weaponizer: Hard to gauge what they are, but it's likely a core like figure with some armor attachment gimmick. No clue what they'll use.
-Combiner: RID Combiners
-Battle Master: Unknown, hoping these aren't gimmick toys but the price tag makes me think they're either like WFC BM or like the Cyberverse small thats that had an attack and half transformed.
-Smash changer are probably auto transforming figures. They might have a bit more articulation due to the price but they're still gimmick toys.

i thought we knew exactly what weaponisers were, and it was 'figures that come apart into a bunch of weapons for others' akin to fossilizers
>RiD combiners
what do you mean? i'm not familiar with that line, it all looked like it was for babies. not just normal combiners, I take it?
>half-transformed
oh god i heard about those. and yeah it sounds like as usual the tiny kids will get their automorphs, poor schmucks. but that's all the more indication the normal toys WON'T be full of obtrusive gimmicks.. that sounds like a win in my book. and we saw normal ones in those listings, so. this isn't like that mech alive shit where everyone had a big awkward spring loaded weapon, we'll get regulars.
>>
>>9560391
>but it's likely a core like figure with some armor attachment gimmick
Hopefully it's those, Cyberverse had them and they were OK.
>>
>>9560400
>i thought we knew exactly what weaponisers were, and it was 'figures that come apart into a bunch of weapons for others' akin to fossilizers
We do, but these are two packs and cost 16, so it's not going to be a WFC weaponizer.

>what do you mean? i'm not familiar with that line, it all looked like it was for babies. not just normal combiners, I take it?
Going by the name and the mention of two pack, they're like the RID Combiners. One figure forms the top, the other forms the bottom, garbage articulation all around. They may have an individual robot mode but it probably has zero articulation and looks like shit.
>>
>>9560407
Hmm maybe they're super dumbed-down core-sized weaponizers. like they don't come apart into very complex or very many parts. 16 is pretty cheap for a two-pack I'll give you that.

I've been messing with my TR Trypticon's and I now remembered that design flaw with the feet. Whoever designed it wanted to use the feet as both a joint and to keep the leg halves adjusted once you transformed it into city mode, but the actual piece of plastic meant to keep it in place is just too thing so it stress out a bit when it flexes into place. I'm just worried that piece will eventually breaks, it shouldn't cause any huge problems but the corners of the city mode will probably remain downward once that bit breaks.

Megatron is great but t-wrecks has such an awesome colors of dino mode.
BUT he also kinda boring in robot mode due to grey colored torso.

Other question: will he get more rare over time making him a better option to get right now when he's down to 50euros instead of 86euros that he usually being sold for

Is this mold fun to play with?

Many such cases in transformers writing, 'they're just robots' means you can tear them apart while they scream in pain and it's okay, not like people at all. I think a lot of writers are just sick fucks.

I think overall people are just lukewarm on JP93 because he's kind of "workman". The toy's robot mode is very standard carformer, and he's based on the least interesting aspects of Jurassic Park (the humans). It's like how people when asked if Grapple is a good toy just shrug and go "he gets the job done".
Also while not too loose on mine, the ball jointed elbows were a big surprise with how much modern TFs shy away from that.
>>
>>9561552
Cool. That's understandable. Yeah, they definietly could've done him better. Give the arms some green, and give him a cooler head(something like Tyrannocon's or with yellow eyes and a faceplate). I mean, the ford's patterns make more sense for something at least a little animalistic, right? Not related, but why in the fuck do people want Nyx and Skold over Bat Primal and Snapper? Like seriously, is it just because they got media appearances? Do you know how fucking stupid that is? I collect transformers because they look cool, not because I like TF media. Although I wouldn't be against a Skold repaint if we got a new Snapper.

Looking at this fanart makes me wish they retooled part of the kibble on the mold, primarly the thing that becomes the T-Rex thighs and have them stay on the robot mode the entire time (the side guns would simply be a hinge that takes out the things like what Primal's wrist rockets does).
I can assure you that the thick kibble thighs would make the mold more femenine

The script attributes that line, "The Autobots have been terminated!" and a two more cut lines of "Vaporize them!" and "The explosions jammed my sensors. I have lost track of the Autobots!" However, both are framed in ways that make it seem like Scourge is talking to Galvatron and the throaty voiced used is nothing like the tone actor Roger C Carmel would use for the character in the third season, and the general gruffness is easily mistaken for Scourge's own. On a similar note, Scourge has the line "But remember, we belong to HIM!" but it's delivered in such a nasally pitch that it's easy to think it was said by a Sweep.

>Nexus Prime however takes it a bit further
>ever since his creation he has been obsessed with his father’s peculiar saying
>Till all are one
>he is the Prime of Combination, it must be his duty to bring about this great, final combination
>he nearly drove himself mad in his endless calculations and experiments
>even the Enigma, his life’s work isn’t strong enough to bring about their father’s “dream”
>he decides that he must be divided, if his pieces find their way back together then maybe the change comes about…… naturally?
>he has used the Engima like this before, forcibly turning Quintessa into five horrific creatures
>this time would be different
>he tasks his closest friend, Omega Supreme to watch over his components and to hide the Engima
>division
>Nexus Prime becomes six bots, their minds blank and unknowing of their origin
>the six bots are carefully watched and later befriended by the giant
>they gravitate towards engineering and reformat themselves to suite their professions
>they are not combining
>they name themselves, Hook, Longhaul, Scrapper, Mixmaster, Bonecrusher and Scavenger
>Omega becomes….. proud in a way, the once prideful, intelligent and sometimes self-absorbed Nexus has become six blue-collar workers who gather for drinks every night and watch the Pit Fights
>still not combining
>then it happens, Megatron unleashed a program throughout Cybertron’s civilian caste, code-named “Robo-Smasher”
>their walled-off systems are unlocked

Why must it always be the poor, innocent Micromasters who suffer the greatest cruelties under the yolk of their aquatic oppressors!?
IS THERE NO JUSTICE IN THE WORLD?!

Pretty dope, as usual. You've got a good head for sci-fi, anon.

>shell program does it’s job and then some
>accidentally awakening “Devastator” in the middle of Crystal City
>the monster rampages, unintentionally aiding the Decepticon’s military rebellion
>Omega, forced to prioritize the innocent over his friend(s) fights the gestalt
>his attempts to reason with them fall on deaf ears, Devastator beats him to a pulp and levels the city
>Omega’s first defeat
>the start of a long and bloody rivalry
>The Constructicons make hunting Omega Sentinels a sport, knowing each kill will hurt their old “friend”
>Omega throws in with the Autobots and teaches them how to make their own gestalts
>Decepticons reverse-engineer the tech from Devastator
>Alpha Trion, the sage sees this, the fall of a brother and an arms race
>realizes something…… odd
>Nexus was the only one of their number to actually “kill” one of the dark primes and now he has seemingly become one himself, serving a bot named Megatron no less
>Alpha would dismiss this as a paranoid coincidence
>he never knew how close he was to the truth
>Primes, divine or not are tied to Primus’s cosmic power, energy
>energy, cannot be created or destroyed only converted…… only transformed….
>he never knew that amongst the new generation his siblings would one way or another rise again, undying and eternal
>The Thirteen would all return, some bearing different faces, some not knowing what they once were
>Prima became Star Saber
>Onyx became Catilla
>Halonix became Thunderwing
>Quintessa became the first five Quintesson Judges
>Amalgamous became Sixshot
>Quintus became Ratchet
>Vector became Galvatron
>Nexus became Devastator
>One generation, it’s struggles repeating for eternity, different forms, different faces, same conclusion.

Made a new thread before I head off to bed just so our resident schizo can't claim that there was space to make a new one. Already at 142 so it's fine, honestly. Move over when you feel like it lads:
