>>9553984I don't know. Wreck-Gar is insanely fun, but I've had no real thoughts about "oh man this guy would be really better if he had a motorcycle". Only guy I put on him was Hot Rod (must try Rodimus soon..) and again, somehow Wreck-Gar looks fine without a rider. Shitpiece looks REALLY nice, and his arms- I'm appreciating that his arms have shields so his wheels don't have to be. But do I really need two Junkions? I don't want to end up getting two of each like that one anon's evil plan.>>9553731>they still have windshields, they just look weirdly bald with no 'head' back there. You sit on a throne of lies>motorcycles usually look more like alien insects, can't anthropomorphize them.WHUH they're people too you racist!>a car looks like a humanNo no no>usuallyThen motorcycles are like people huddled and rolling down a hill like Sonic might>you never played with Attack Packs did you? Those were great. No, my mom didn't let me play with racist peopleBut yeah seriously what are those>>9553893Unsure who Tracks' buddies were... but here. Seems at least as snobby as his regular bios. And hooray, more shitting on poor Beachcomber..>Come on, don't do my boy dirty like that.Awww>>9553902>>9553913>>9553934Yeah it uh, the text story says he's the sole survivor of a crashhttp://www.insecticons.com/wheeliequint1.html>>9553907No no NO
>>9554001Kreon you fucking retard, it was obvious that you were go anon the whole time
>>9554000The bike ends up a lot more grey than I'd expect of a junkion but it's hardly the end of the world, I really like the new arm parts.
Do it for her
>>9554001>sole survivor of a crashSo who the fuck were Wheelie's parents, then? I wanna know what the hell they were doing flying through Quint space in a rickity corkscrew. Also uh, somebody saw Return of the Jedi huh
>>9554011>"Wheelie thinks his sword is tight, who cares about a copyright?"

Junkyard in your image has quite a bit of grey too (were there really six movie junkions given names and colours?), but I sort of assumed everyone's palette was closer to Re-Cycle and Rubbish.I guess you could always say that the grey was after a lot of paint flaked off, which is something that happens with mechanical garbage?>>9554011>So who the fuck were Wheelie's parents, then?Don't worry, the lucky anons who keep insulting Wheelie will get to meet them personally.>in a rickity corkscrewUnsure whether that's a standard quint ship or that was just our assumption... and yeah they might have simply crashed near Quintessa's gravity like our A New Hope crowd did.>no Empire saga for Transformers>>9554014Anon, my tummy already hurts, you can't do this to my sides
>>9554018>were there really six movie junkions given names and colours? There's a few others like Ashtray and HAZMAT.
>>9554000>>9553984He's not an exclusive right?
>>9554024Here's Hazmat, I quite like him.
>>9554004>>9554001Holy shit kreon is go anon!? I can believe it.
>>9554029And here a shot with a good few of the designs in the movie, can't tell if any haven't been named so far due to how similar a lot of the designs are.
Why does goanon do the "everyone is me" schitck when people ignore his shitty threads? Every single time, he either claims one anon here is him or invents a new persona to blame himself for making garbage threads. I'd say he needs help but he's british and a jobless leech too, so he needs more than that.
>>9554024>>9554029How come he has no mouth in the pencil designs? But hm, the lighting makes it seem he's a fire-related boy. Look- I didn't know there were this many junkion fans, but I'm going to be very unhappy with myself if I end up with an army of junkions. What am I going to do with a dozen dirty garbage gremlins->>9554039Fuck, they look so fun-loving though... and red is objectively the best colour>>9554034No NO I literally just awoke>oh wow a lot of posts in both threads>see someone linked to GOthread, twice>put the post I wrote to the side, pop the new thread link in, then resume posting>>9554026>He's not an exclusive right?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQxhf8zcd6s>>9554040I think this time it's a jokeI mean, I hope it's a joke>jobless leechIs there proof, or is it just the fact that he's been posting at like 4-6am before
>>9554040I'd say you need to fuck off.
>>9554041>>9554018Sounds like something goanon would say. I'm on to you kreon go anon I'm on to you.
>>9554044I'm gonna break into your house and replace all your exclusives with their mainline counterparts
>>9554007Rum-maj figure when?(A junkeon figure with a tank/snowmobile -tred or a ski would be a cool bit of variety. Though I can’t see them investing enough to do remolding of that type.)
>>9554054Do you think we'll ever get more Junkions? I didn't expect to love them as much as I do. SS86 Hound repaint into Detritus would be great too. What other preexisting toys would fit in with the Junkions for a display. Off the top of my head:>TransmutateWeird choice but she is broken junk. Maybe the Junkions could take care of her and fix her when she explodes.>Other lines chug wreck gar and Junkions >sparkless wfc stuff from the netflix line
Well we know he had about 8 IPs and makes a new thread when he loses a debate in the old one
>>9554072>Do you think we'll ever get more Junkions?Given how many of them share base bodies together, it'd be stupid of Hasbro not to make more. The more squat base design here could be reused a ton of times with some remolding.
With the collaborative TF figures for the most part being retools of existing figures, what do you guys think the Maverick and JP93 molds will be retooled into for Generations or Studio Series? Hasbro and Takara will need to make money back on the molds somehow
>>9553984Based parinoidanon fighting goanon(s)go gettem you glorious faggot
>>9554042>fuck offnobody cares goanon get back in your shitty thread faggot
Would it be worth pursuing all the SG exclusives?Already have Megs and Jetfire in my posession. Figured Blurr, Goldbug and Scream would be neat, although they're more repaints and retools. Plus price on Pulse is a bit much for single figs.£30 each for Blurr and Goldbug, £37 for Scream.Bit whack.
>>9554095I dunno about them two, but I'd love to have the Xmen Blackbird figure retooled into a sort of g1 ROTF Jetfire, I enjoyed that crazy old man.
I thought kreon was cool but i dont come too often anymore. Thanks to go anon for chasing my lurker ass off.
>>9554107Scream's best boy, get him.
>>9554110>Yet another Siege mold seeker to my collection.>He's got the cool swords though and has a baller Galaxy Force upgrade kit.Decisions decisions..
Do I need to actually reiterate or prove how I'm not GoAnon, or is this just one person periodically posting something>>9554072>>9554084Not sure of the story behind Detritus, but would non-WreckGar molds work at all? Aside from non-transforming Nancy, mystery Detritus, and I guess Animated Wreck-Gar, we haven't seen many other junkions, have we? Junkion comboner when...
>>9554116Well you've got two characters that are fairly connected to him already and personally I find himk better that the other options, Goldbug would be fine, but the Blurr mold is a sore spot for me (though I like the new SG head)Is the SG Optimus/Ratchet two pack a option? Worth considering if you go completionist mode as they'll just become more expensive with time.
>>9554040"And that's the basics on Goanon" "Tune in next week when I do the basics on Omega Spreem."
>>9554119More Junkion variety would be cool, a whole bunch of mad max like vehicles, like dotm Megatron.
>>9554119Did the Junkions even show up in S3, or just Wreck-Gar? I only recall renting one or two of that season's tapes as a kid and am not that familiar with it.
>>9554122I'd have to look elsewhere since that two-pack was exclusive to the states. And you know it isn't going to be cheap. But perhaps i'll rip the band aid off now rather than later with that one. Not sure where to look though. Most international sellers are out of stock and have been for a while.
>>9554128Yeah them and the Junkion planet still featured.
>>9554124You put that picture with any text and I’ll read it in his voice. Fuck.
Well here's the ship mode of the middle guy, guess he's supposed to turn into the thingy shuttle from the movie?OH>titan-class for junkion spaceship>LITERALLY reusing parts from various prior toys>arms are Metroplex's, the computer screen is from Mainframe, etc etc>the robot mode is idk, Iron Giant or some other tv referenceSilly but kinda nice to think about>>9554127I mean, they're functionally immortal garbage gremlins with a literally infinite amount of garbage, surely not all of them were motorcycles.>but maybe spiked motorcycles are best at going through garbageFair, but so might be flying>yeah but it might blow away the garbage we just sortedF-fuck you!But yeah, I think a literal or figurative garbage death truck like Megs or even Wreck-Gar might be a neat addition.>>9554128I know Nancy was in a s3 episode, and the Big Broadcast ep primarily features the junkions. One of my slightly favourite Junkion moments was Rodimus responding to a surprised Wreck-Gar in coherent teevee talk, when Rod and Magnus came aboard the junkion ship that- they have ships going around on other planets just STEALING GARBAGE>>9554140>the first bot, created in Primacron's image before he ate the Quintesson of knowledge
>>9554144>they have ships going around on other planets just STEALING GARBAGEA truck comes around once a week to steal MY garbage.
>>9554124I really wish we could make posting youtubers a bannable offence. There has never been more shitposting and retardation than allowing them the last year or so. Like what the fuck changed? Was it just one autist getting in a fight and athena getting told off on twitter?
>>9554153l'm living in your head rent free.
>>9554150>A truck comes around once a week to steal MY garbage. And you've done nothing to stop this?? Coward. I'm not afraid of the junkions.
>>9554153Funny enough I haven’t watch anything of that guys and these threads just make me do runs of disliking everything without watching it to fuck the algorithm so hard I’ll never have to see the content
>>9554167I don't even know who any of them are. The only reviewer I've ever watched was Thew back in 2012 because everyone back then and since are either droning uninteresting robots who make me rather read a photo/text review, or screeching cringe autists who sound like a soundboard of tiktok kids. It's just literally never not off-topic screeching and wars between what I assume are 3 shitposters who are either representing their heroes or are literally the dudes themselves.
>>9554107No it's only going to be a chore for you if you're doubting it now. They're doing a wave 2 of them and who knows how many more. Just get what you like the most. At least that's what I'm doing. They've all been hits or misses with me and could have almost all used better molds to be repainted from.
>>9554119>but would non-WreckGar molds work at all?Yeah I was asking for non Junkions that would fit in a Junkion display too. Not recreating movie scenes either
>>9554095Well, I've seen some suggest the JP93 mold could be retooled into Armada Red Alert. Not sure about Maverick though
>>9554001dude Attack Packs were rad as hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZSctFdNfFY there are no pictures that can do them justice, check this video out.
>>9554198I was about to ask who they've repainted from other crossover moulds but I'm now realizing JP93 is the only actually unique one. Makes me wonder if he's actually a cancelled or reworked version of a different G1 character, because there's no way that they thought they could do a 100% fresh tooling for a crossover on a movie that barely has any nostalgia left.
>>9554108as long as he's still got that hunched over posture with dino legs and a huge metal beard, i'm in. So far no toy of him has ever been quite right, because they're all compromised to make a dumb unnecessary inaccurate combiner mode.
>>9554108>>9554203Uh guys. X-Spanse was a heavy retool of SS Jetfire.
>>9554205pic related? That's just jetfire.
>>9554200I remember when Mcdonalds had some, they were rad as fuck.
>>9554207Yes that is Studio Series Jetfire, what they made X-Spanse from. It's why X-Spanse has a weird mostly nonfunctional ab-joint, because it actually serves a function with Jetfire, but is just floppy and useless for him.Unless you're talking about some weird insane combination of G1 Jetfire and Bayverse Jetfire in which case I will again call you insane.
>>9554207Not that anon but that's the SS Jetfire X-Spanse is a retool of.
>>9554208My dad was super into collecting diecast and toy cars when I was a kid,. Every time we'd go to TRU, he would take the excuse to buy himself some johnny lightnings or hot wheels on top of whatever TF he'd buy for me. Bought a bunch of Attack Pack toys for his own collection and then realized he didn't actually care so they just ended up becoming monsters for me to play with. These fuckers were awesome.
>>9554209>Unless you're talking about some weird insane combination of G1 Jetfire and Bayverse Jetfire in which case I will again call you insane. That's what I (>>9554108) was getting at, I love the Idea of G1/Movie fusion stuff.
>>9554209well that one anon was suggesting retooling the x-men blackbird INTO movie jetfire, and I was laying down my criteria for that to be acceptable. Now you're saying some guy I've never heard of is a retool of jetfire, but you didn't post the guy, you posted jetfire. so I don't know what to think about your statement.
>>9554201Maverick is also unique, and I'm trying to figure out who he could be repainted or remolded into
>>9554222You appear to have severe brain damage so I'm just going to post SS Jetfire next to X-Spanse.>>9554220I always hoped that Guido Guidi takes on bayverse guys like Barricade and stuff like Milne's version of bayverse Lockdown would become more normal for CHUG. Sad that we're probably trapped in G1 S2-3 for the rest of the forseeable future.
>>9554215Attack Packs were employed as post-vaccination bribes/distractions for me as a tiny anon, the only ones to survive my childhood were the couple mcdonalds ones I have though.
>>9554226he just looks like a neat jet guy, he should be made into.. something better, with better colors.
>>9554234>>9554226idk Maverick is just a really really really really shitty VF-1 to me. If he was less spindly I'd probably care, but him never being reused wouldn't make me disappointed in the least.
>>9554230ohh X-spanse is the name of the x-men blackbird guy. got it. I should have guessed from the 'x' but I thought it was something else. For one thing, X-spanse is a terrible name.so now that we're on the same page, what is your point? the unlikelihood that he could be retooled into him?
>>9554235I like spindliness once in a while. especially for fliers.
>>9554226G2 cyberjets is the common thing I see get thrown about, but since Maverick is mostly vinyl cum material, I'd rather they have a better base to work from.
>>9554238I also like it, but he's not cool spindliness like the various insect BW toys or ROTF Lockdown. He's just incredibly weedy and shitty looking. Like some knockoff Valkyrie toy from the early 90s you'd see in a chinatown shop. Plastic quality matches that too.
>>9554244i'll say this he doesn't look like a transformer. knockoff valkyrie is about right.
>>9554236>For one thing, X-spanse is a terrible name. That's the best part: it's actually not just X-Panse
>>9554246So a Transformer then
>>9554247I can't lie when I saw the renders and product photos, I was 5050 on it. Then I saw him in store and realized what his name was and bought him on the spot. No regrets whatsoever, other than I wish I had the old Marvel Universe Sentinel for him to fight.>>9554249kek
>>9554247His name makes a Lil more sense if you think of him as a marvel super hero
>>9554095Maverick would make an excellent update for the G2 Cyberjets, straight redeco for Hooligan and retools for the other 2
>>9554200>>9554215>>9554208I MISS WHEN HOWHEELS TOYS WERE GOOD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>9554220I had some awesome art of G1ified Jetfire from the movie. I wish I still had it. We got g1 Barricade why not
>Another /tfg/ made whilst one is already bumpingAnd this is acceptable how, exactly?>>9546756
>>9554249eyyyyy>>9554247X-panse at least would be funnier. we'd call him X-pants.there are SO many great 'ex-' words they could have used.
>>9554252yeah if I knew about this I probably would have bought him. He reminds me of old x-men fusion designs I would make. and you have to appreciate they didn't just give him wolverine claws, they gave him a glowy pink energy effect that 90s x-men comics would totally use all the time.
>>9554252shame the backpack is a pile of shit. Hasbro was too lazy to clean it up with a few more joints, but can't have the production cost per unit go up an extra penny, can they?
>>9554192Yeah but like, sorry I'm a bit dizzy, I think I meant something like, what they'd turn into or do, or something. We don't really know much about junkions aside from the movie and garbage-stealing, do we...>the quints might have made them too, but couldn't predict Wreck-Gar>somehow the junkions were Autobots maybe>somehow they're functionally immortalCan I please get more love for this insane species>>9554200Ohhhh, I think I remember this. Wasn't ever really into cars for some reason- YOO O KING HISS LOOKS COOL>>9554208I'm a lil bit terrified>>9554220*squints*Something's up hereAnd I don't like it
>>9554200I still have the Mc Donald's figures and my Stego Striker.
>>9554279from here it looks like a pretty good 'wingpack' of the type x-men toys had in like '97where would you like to have another joint?
>>9554272its not goanons shitty thread faggot, thats howwe are posting in this thread out of spite for the little shithead
>>9554286I wasn't into cars at all, but holy shit when you tell me they have somehow mutated with humans AND animals into intelligent beastial cars whose mouths open up into giant fangs, I am DOWN. The way they mostly had a trigger in the rear shaped like something the vehicle would really have helped a lot.. and then you had the more mutatey ones like the six-wheeled 'scorpion' guy whose upper jaw and front axle could raise up threateningly, or the hornet cement mixer who could detach from his wheeled base and snag smaller ones with his claws.. or the noisemaking ones who would lift up just PART of their lip at first, to make a little snarl. Or the fire truck hellhound that you can pop a wheelie and his front wheels automatically open into additional mouths..on the other hand, that one bat-ish one that turns into kind of a Blackbird-esque UFO... the whole body opens up like a gulper eel's mouth, but it has dumb buck teeth fangs in front like Nosferatu. ruins the badassness.
>>9554293>Let's do the thing we hate goanon for doing to spite goanon, that'll work!Genius ploy.

They had him at my physical gamestop for like six months after he came out and he only got nabbed finally when he was marked down to like $35.>>9554279Honestly I don't mind the backpack, it's just the fiddlyness of his lower legs and that shitty ab joint that gets me.
>>9554311>>9554317That wasn't him though. I'm not sure if that was just some rogue trolls or if it was an attempt by the anti-goanon brigade to falseflag him, but it wasn't him. Quite aside from anything else they all used the pastebins which he has routinely denounced as unnecessary. Also you do realize that the simple fact that you know he exists and find him annoying means he's won, right? Literally the only thing you can do to "win" is just to play along and not have a shitfit when he posts a new thread "early". Honestly, the reactions to goanon have been far more annoying than goanon himself.
>>9554313Don’t forget RTS Wreck-Gar and mates. I grabbed him and a couple Junkheaps for cheap from a hobby store a couple years ago. Like, still on card for Wreck Gar and one of the Junkheaps, and only for less than ~$25ea, maybe fifteen bucks for the loose Junkheap. And this was before SS86 was a thing, so the CW Groove repaints were the only other choices. They’re probably even cheaper after people toss them for the new ones.
>>9554317>It was 17 threads anon.WHAT ? I thought it wasa 6 holy shit nvm then he wasnt just mad HE WAS SEETHING WITH RAGE

>>9554332>humans toobecause that way they were intelligent characters with names, not just horrifying animal-trucks roaming the land. I believe the idea was 'some mutagen hit some dudes and fused them with their trucks and also a nearby animal'and if that sounds very TMNT, I didn't even mention the hornet cement mixer came with some mutagen ooze so once he brings them back to his base they can be trapped and have ooze poured on em.
>>9554343If you can get him for $40 or below I'd say he's definitely worth it. Just he doesn't really fit into TF displays and only fits into ML displays if you've got a decent amount of X-Men type stuff. He's definitely fun though, so I'd say consider it after maybe watching or reading some reviews.

You think Detritus is one sane person on Junkion? He’s just sick of pop culture, motorcycles, facial hair and garbage. He got off that shithole as soon as possible and never looked back.
>>9554344Well what->some mutagen hit some dudes and fused them with their trucks and also a nearby animalSorry, this is a bit more terrifying than street sharks->the hornet cement mixer came with some mutagen ooze so once he brings them back to his base they can be trapped and have ooze poured on emThe notion of being forcefully turned into an animal car sounds terrifying. Sure kids would want to be animal cars, but that actual process? Eugh. I've been watching Rayearth, but what if the junkion thing was proof to the audience, or passing a trial of worthiness, such that like, I mean, all in all his befriending this ridiculous tribe seems pretty up there on the list of leadership qualifications.Wait, would Junkions all qualify as medics? Aside from maybe First Aid and Fixit, I think post-movie we're a bit fucked for Autobot medics. The bios only say Wreck-Gar's primary role is Junkion Leader. >>9554420I want you to have it too. exclusives are stupid.
>>9554452Thank you. It's eating me up I missed the deadline back in September.
>>9554457Bro I only got a preorder by dashing out of the bedroom and yelling at my wife to grab it on her account because my computer would've taken 10mins to boot and get logged in. And even then idk if he's ever going to show up or if my preorder is going to get cancelled.I've ignored most pulse exclusive shit since the only thing I actually wanted from any of them was the Siege Seekers, but Terrorsaur is unforgivable.
>>9554465Right? They seriously could have done his recolors for an exclusive, Lazerbeak and Fractyl. But no, they stick Terrorsaur in the exclusive preorder spot. A fucking core character from season 1.
>>9554433Detritus wants money, he hates memes, he hates talking TV and he really wants to be clean. I think the Quints just like pushing the Cons to see what they’ll put up with.>Hey! Immopex, I just took a gun and shot this Decepticon in the head, look at that stupid thing die!>Hilarious Quistos, I’ve been stealing their fingers while they recharge and then stabbing them in the feet
>>9554468Fractyl would have been a perfect exclusive to go in a 2-pack with Core Packrat. I managed to preorder Terrorsaur myself, but making core cast members exclusives is fucking retarded and should not be allowed under any circumstances. I missed out on Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp because exclusive bullshit.
>>9554420>>9554465It sucks, but Terrorsaur isn't that great a represntation of his show appearance. He's slightly too thin, he' s a size class too small, his wings are upside down, and his paint got a bit fucked. I'm anticipating Fractyl though, who will be a Target exclusive.>Evidence? >>9554471>Quints are a whole species of Sid from Toy Story
>>9554468Not to mention as the only character that wasn't a repaint literal who in that entire exclusive wave.>>9554476That's the worst part to me. I am fully aware he isn't good, isn't what I wanted, and I won't be very happy with anything aside from that perfect headsculpt, but he's the best we'll ever get. China doesn't give a shit about BW, Hasbro won't do another take on him that's less shit, if ever again. He's just the closest to something decent that'll ever exist and that's insanely depressing for what was my 2nd favourite character in the show after Rattrap.
>>9554482dude there's a chinese unlicensed thirdparty terrorsaur that look good. it was, at least, in the works, maybe not released yet. the wings were detachable because there's no other way to do it, but still
>>9554476I don't mind him being a Deluxe, it's better then his basic class figure. His limitations in his transformation don't bother me cause let's face it, in the show? They fucking cheated so hard with his model.
Do you think they’ll redeco the current Hot Rod mold into Side Burn again?
>>9554487That thing didn't actually transform if it's the one I'm thinking of. It was just two action figures that were going to be sold as a set, and even then I think it was just some weibo user posting their 3d printed figure. Afaik there's only two companies doing BW right now, the guys doing legends scale S1 characters, and the other one doing TM stuff. Obviously PE did their Optimus and Megatron, but that's pretty old now.
>>9554482You're forgetting Takara. They can make it work, just get ready for a kibblesome Pterodactyl. It would just be nice if BWMP got back from its hiatus.
>>9554493oh shit, fooled me.
>>9554479They’re what happens if you mixed H.P Lovecraft, Bernie Madoff, Caligula, Sid from Toy Story, Emperor Palpatine and a bit of Jordan Belfort. Sadistic snake-oil salesquids with a Rome fetish who have a knack for charming people into very bad deals/decisions.
>>9554491>His limitations in his transformation don't bother me cause let's face it, in the show? They fucking cheated so hard with his model.I know. What bothers me is they didn't make much of an attempt.>I don't mind him being a Deluxe, it's better then his basic class figure. This is why I'm fine with this mold in Frcatyl colors. He's always been a deluxe kinda character.>>9554492It would be neat.
>>9554492Give it a new head and I'd be happy with it. Bonus points because the people that think CW Rook supported police brutality and Studio Series Jazz was a white supremacists dog whistle would be upset about a toy of Side Burn, comedy rapist.
>>9554504I just need Terrorsaur to sit on a Bandai Tamashii Nations stand next to Waspinator on my predacon shelf.
>>9554499>Why did you execute the last survivor of Lithone?>"Well because it was funny, obviously">"Ahhahaha/hehehehe/heeheeheehee/hohohoho/eheheheheh"
>>9554504what bothers me is they could so easily have made a toy that does 80% of what that one does, but better. The wing engineering is fine, and scaling down the wings and head to make it more reasonable, sure. but the legs should be formed from the underbody area, arms should be from the ptero legs, and the tail is supposed to be the chest. that is SO EASY to do, and would resemble the show model (a bit) and the toy (a lot more) but they chose not to. What's more, he has a spindly ptero neck when the show had this big thick almost cobra-ass neck.. the parts to make that would have been helpful in filling out the robot mode. maybe they could be part of the legs.
>>9554504They attempted to make a Terrorsaur that looked like the toy but his model kept clipping into everything due to the wings. Because the budget was already stretched thin they probably didn't have the funds to play around with his model until they made it work, so they threw in the towel and gave us the final model.
>>9554525Here's the thing. They got THAT lazy.

>>9554527Final model Terrorsaur with giant wings is an interesting idea.
>>9554531So you know how the Quintessons have a bunch of subspecies and classes? What if we got Quintessons that look something like picrel?
>>9554527that's sad because it wouldn't have been hard to fix at all, but i'm sure you're right and they were rushedjust shrink the wings slightly, enough that it's less cheaty, then fold them in hard. bend at the elbows and pull the fingertips inward.

>paint black over the bright yellow parts on shadow panther's beast mode>they're barely visible, just the joint that the cat arms plug into, but the fact that those ball joints pop off and it's very easy to paint makes it an easy decision>black paint I bought turns out to be super matte and immediately scrapes off of the ball jointI think I can see why at one stage they were going to replace the yellow parts with black. i'm still happy to have yellow trim in robot mode though, makes him unique.
current lineup. Once I have Overload and Jetfire, he will easily be the biggest of the group. Movie Optimus + Jetfire should be next
Got my Shattered Glass Jetfire the other day, but didn't have time to get any pics until now. I know not everyone's crazy about Shattered Glass, but since I missed out on Siege Jetfire (and literally every other version of the character in existence - this is my first), this was my best shot at getting him; fortunately for those who don't care for SG, he uses the same colors as the Henkei 'Dark Skyfire' repaint, which I've been told was retconned to represent Jetfire when he was still aligned with the Decepticons, so you can easily ignore his alternate universe backstory if you want. Like the Siege release, he comes decked out with a bunch of goodies - a dual blaster that can split into two separate guns, two twin wrist-mounted cannons, two missiles that plug into his wingtips in bot mode, two more blasters that plug into his purple backpack, a big armored chestplate that opens up and reveals a battle mask for him, and two blue three-part blast effects (which both came slightly warped for me, sadly). He also has a comic that I won't read yet because my SG Starscream STILL hasn't shown up with issue 3 yet. Haven't read issue 4, either, even though I got SG Goldbug ages ago.
>>9554588that is a pretty identifiable collection desire.it's funny how that became a staple of optimus after unicron trilogy but in american continuity it should be more of an utlra magnus thing.. but since they both have convoy in their name that's probably a sensible enough changeover
>>9554593First of all, this guy is HUGE (I had to build up my box backdrop just for him). I knew he was big from pics of his Siege version, but I wasn't expecting him to be as tall as Skylynx is long. Fairly easy for him to bully other 'bots. I've decided to keep his armor and mask on, since his normal unmasked face looks too 'heroic' for this supposedly evil variaton of the character. Looking it up, it seems the mask and armor are a throwback to his original toy's appearance, which was literally just a rebranded VF-1S Super Valkyrie from the Macross franchise (and the subsequent modification to the design and face were for trademark issues).Jetfire's pretty poseable - hip swivel, ankle tilts, wrist rotation, and his head is even on a little hinge that lets him look up or down (and he'll liekly be spending a lot of time looking down, since he towers over everyoneelse). His hands have a neat little feature where the peghole for holding his guns is on a loop; opening his hands causes the loops to retract backwards into his wrist, letting him have unobstructed palms for holding things or posing.
>>9554596Vehicle mode manages to stay about as long as he was tall despite his legs folding up, thanks to his long nosecone; his wingspan is almost just as long, meaning he takes up a lot of space in this mode. This mode looks about as aerodynamic as a brick, but it still is pretty fun to heft around. He's got fold-out landing gear and a bunch of 5mm 'handles' that pop out under him for otehr bots to hold on to, letting him airlift his allies to the battlefield. His wings have flaps that work as poseable ailerons, and his weapons can all merge into a drone unit of sorts that, in turn, can mount onto his backpack.
>>9554588Cool set of super optimii, anon. I only have the RiD one
>>9554601His cockpit actually opens up, too - but you have to bend his nosecone down first. Inside is this weird mechanical block that has a peg hole in it; not sure what it's significance is, but once it's out, it leaves a space large enough to fit a Headmaster/Titanmaster/Primemaster, as demonstrated by Cogman here (the only Headmaster I own. I've mentioned my dislike for the concept of Headmasters before). The top of his backpack opens up (right behind the green canopy) to reveal a pair of sockets that perfectly fit two more in folded up configuration, meaning he can hold a total of three little companions at once. Also forgot - the purple Autobot insignia actually rotates around to reveal a red Decepticon one, so you can have him change factions on the fly.>>9554588Never saw the Optimus in the rear right. Which one is that?
>>9554607is that not a ginrai
>>9554607Bit of a bonus pic - ages ago, someone posted a pic of Sixgun, who was apparently designed to be compatible with Jetfire's undercarriage. My own Sixgun slots into the two peg holes easily, so that still works (even though his colors don't match the SG version). He fits into the space pretty neatly, so it seems to have indeed been intentional.
>>9554593Yeah, they had him from the start be G1 Jetfire, which was notable because during that time, Henkei releases were in their own continuety.>In an era millions of years before the establishment of the Decepticon faction's army, Skyfire was specialized for outer space exploration, his entire body coated with a substance that protected it against unknown viruses, magnetic storms, and the like. Although he had a strong scientific curiosity, he agonized over it being at odds with his great combat skillsThe whole thing is a reference to a frame where Jetfire is shown with a black and purple colorscheme when they're trying to bring him back online in his debut.
>>9554609I like him a lot. He's big, he's fun to mess around with, and you can get some really nice poses out of him; he'll look good dueling with my Skylynx. >>9554608Is it? I haven't actually been collecting long enough to tell the difference.>>9554613>Also, I just want to see someone display jetfire with all his weapons and his mask, but not his giant chestplate. That thing looks clunky as fuck. More importantly though, take photos of Titanmaster/Headmasters in all the cockpits. Will do later - got to go in a minute, hence my hasty posting.
>>9554593>>9554596>>9554601>>9554607The question is, will you display him as SG jetfire or Decepticon Jetfire? And stuff like Jetfires cockpits are why Headmsters can be fun. Maybe some Transformers should include Daiclone pilots or something. But not just regular humans like Spike and Daniel, those are fucking lame.
>>9554616Thanks.>Is it? I haven't actually been collecting long enough to tell the difference.Yes. Sorta. It can also just be Power Master Optimus Prime with another upgrade(although that was only a thing in the old reissue line).
>>9554616Just to add, most of Jetfire's gun's can come apart.
>>9554595I was actually surprised that the bayformers did it, but off course in typical Michael Bay style were Jetfire was dieing but they did do it. I wonder if we'll ever see Prime combine again, let alone with his trailer
>>9554565I've been looking around for him, but I'm finding it hard to find one with everything intact. Usually one or both of the smoke stacks are missing.
>>9554543>*Giant crystalline Rhombic-icosahedron screams geometrically*
>>9554623those are definitely some cool weapons.>>9554631It's odd, I actually enjoy that he mostly just wears parts of jetfire, but what pisses me off is the toy doesn't take advantage of that, insisting on a more traditional transformers combiner.. but still trying to look approximately like what they had in the movie? You'd expect the reverse, with the toy partsforming and the movie using parts-arranging magic to make him more of a connected suit.
>>9554632ebay seller had him at complete with box and instructions, HOWEVER the missile is missing. I just bought a missile for the toy from ebay, just to get him completed.>>9554607that's God Ginrai, a retool of the Titans Return Powermaster Optimus. >>9554642Did you manage to get one without the limited super mode shoulder articulation?
>>9554637well they did fix that for the studio series version where he does become armor parts for Prime.Although now that I think about it, that makes 2 movie Optimus/Jetfires I will have to look out for
>>9554588Geez, that's a pretty impressive collection of soup Optimi. I'm jealous, keep it up!>>9554593Missed out on Jetfire too, and we might have talked about the stealth paint thing. Glad you got him and are enjoying him, I wouldn't mind getting a big Jetfire for cheaper, if SG isn't too popular.>comicI think it's been so far so good. >>9554653I can't believe you were right about Wreck-gar's wheels being different widths. I was 90% sure you were talking out of your ass, but LO AND BEHOLD
>>9554527>Because the budget was already stretched thin they probably didn't have the funds to play around with his model until they made it work, so they threw in the towel and gave us the final model. Why would running out of funds lead to "making an entirely different model that also still clips through things"? Also that old Terrorsaur was back when everyone was going to be based on the toys, did they run out of budget for everyone else too? I don't know I haven't bothered to listen to the commentary tracks yet.
>>9554736Eat my shorts, I wouldn't lie to you anons. Aside from that time I said that each Beast Wars figure had proceeds go to conserving the corresponding animal for each figure (yes even dinosaurs). But yeah, my extreme autism wanted noticed the wheels being different, and initially I put the thicker one on the back, because things usually have smaller wheels at the front. But no, I've legitimately had minor difficulties trying to fit it in, they're sliiiightly different widths, as are the spaces for the arms and legs. A handy way to remember is>Wreck-Gar uses a wheel as a shield, so the thicker one is for his arms, so they can absorb blows betterI thought I was going crazy or had a QC error something, didn't see many people note this. Will it cause problems if you switch the wheels, I dunno, but I wouldn't risk. Also be careful when pulling out his windshield from his back, that's a bit terrifying.
How do you guys feel about Core Class?
>>9554746I got Soundwave but never saw the others. I'd get Hot Rod if I saw him.
>>9554743>But yeah, my extreme autism wanted noticed the wheels being differentYour extreme autism is doing no favors to your grammar. Get it together, anon!
>>9554746I like it, but they're leaning way too hard on just doing small versions of larger characters when I just want them to do small characters. Would have been great if many of the smaller BW toys got core releases.
>>9554742I think the key here is 'play around with'they had funds enough to take ONE more crack at the model, they couldn't play around with different wing arrangements, which would require putting it through its paces in different poses and watching the scenes to see how they look..
>>9554743I cannot believe how many people swallowed that. >>9554756I can't argue with that, it seems like a perfect time to make Insecticon or Snapper, or Razorbeast, or tiny gator Megatron...
>>9554746I would be happy to get more core class versions of old beast wars flipchangers, though they need to lower the price point a tad. what they're charging would be a lot even for Legends.

Rent's good at least.
>>9554769not TERRIBLY overpriced, mind you, but overpriced. I'd say Cores are worth like 7 bucks and legends are... maybe worth 9 bucks. I realize these things are changing though, and there are expenses. I know they're more elaborate than regular action figures, and I also understand there's an issue where shrinking it down doesn't make it that much cheaper.
>>9554758I dunno, it seems like a lie and more likely they did a first batch that was based on the toys, thought they looked too awful, scrapped everything, and started from the ground up, and "wings being too big" didn't have anything to do with it.But again he could have an actual source and is just waiting to link it to embarrass me
>>9554776well first of all, it was speculation, so it can't be a liesecondly, I got the impression that they did these initial toy-style ones as 'sketches' and then saw what worked and what didn't, decided to rework things, and that's how we ended up with the models we got. but I haven't read anything on the subject so .. I feel like there must be commentaries that talk about this and might make it clearer. One thing's for sure, that battling planets show they did afterward.. could have used a second pass at a lot of its models. some good, some really needed work.>wrecking balls rhinoxhehehe. he could put the gun on his crotch..
>>9554778https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaLU_BnqfO4I think on the actual DVD they just say they "weren't happy with these" or something, which could mean anything
>>9554773I mean I like paying less money too, but $10 doesn't feel unreasonable for Rattrap or Megatron or Soundwave. Compared to anything else on the market, those 3 at least seem fair.
Transformers Thrilling 30s Cosmos w/ PayloadThe second 21st century try at Cosmos I believeLines up pretty perfectly with current Core class as far as mass goes.Ya gotta love this doofy little UFO. It's just so good. What an inspired choice for an alt mode.Good work Hasbro of the 80s.I'll say it up top that I think this is the stronger of his two modes.Being green gets Cosmos into a more exclusive group as far as G1 Autobots go. He sticks out from his majority red, white, and blue brethren.Paint work is basic but also more varied than I'd've thought. Yellow stripes in front and boosters in the back. Grey for the guns. Silver headlights, a different yellow for the window borders and an off-blue for the windows. With a red button on top.Paylod is just a chubby little shuttle with no way to attach to Cosmos in alt mode.
>>9554783Cosmos's guns plug into the shuttle's engines.
>>9554781hm yeah. to me that does suggest that this was just a preliminary pass they took, and if they liked how it looked, they would have stayed with it and refined it a bit. CG is a lot like that, you have to do a low-res 'sketch' like this and move it around and see how it looks, that much I know.>>9554782It's reasonable enough, sure.>>9554783hehe I've always loved this. I wanna see a cute japanesey version that has the traditional UFO triple-underboob, and a little crane-game claw to grab other tiny transformers or, more realistically, their weapons.
>>9554783Cosmos transformations are always unorthodox but straightforward. And Cosmos is a neat little green man. Somewhat stylized proportions with large limbs and small torso. His big fists are like twice the size of his head.I have to say it because it's always the first thing I see when I look at him; Cosmos's paint is on the sloppy side.Specifically the green bleeds through a lot on his shoulders. Also the blue visor doesn't fill the creases on his yellow face. The paint on Payload's wee head ain't great either. Helmet isn't totally red and the blue isn't pushes to the creases here either.>>9554786Well what'dya know.
>>9554802The Titans Returns reissue had better paint at the cost of no targetmaster, btw. Beware of the red paint on your copy, its prone to chip and show the white plastic under it, they fixed that on the reissue casting the head in red plastic.
>>9554061is this some gay idw tranny oc or is there actually good art of this Rum-Maj junkion because that's just a dude with a jew nose and lipstick
I'm back. Normally, I try to avoid mass-replies, but looks like a lot of questions popped up while I was gone, so...First, Jetfire with Cogman and my Hun-Gurrr's Enigma of Combination sitting in his backpack's seats, as requested.>>9554617>will you display him as SG jetfire or Decepticon Jetfire?Right now, I don't have enough room in my normal display for him, so he's hanging out with my SG bots and Draculus. Not sure if I'll move him later.>>9554642>that's God Ginrai, a retool of the Titans Return Powermaster Optimus.Thank you - he looks nice! Actually, they all do. I'm not too up to speed on the Japanese stuff yet, but I'll certainly give it a closer look - I liked Ultra Magnus' armor combining gimmick, so seeing there's other bots that do something similar seems like fun.
>>9554818Jetfire all armored up but with chest plate removed, as requested. Also flipped his insignia this time around. Waspinator's living out his life's true calling as a literal doormat. And one more pic...
>>9554820>>9554653>Who'd you say's the better funner mold?Hard to say, really. I've always been more of an animal fan (especially dragons and dinosaurs) over humanoid robots, so a robot-dragon that turns into a space shuttle and splits into a giant lynx and a wyvern/'dino-bird' (and an additional base mode!) is totally my type. He's just got so much character and playability. Still, Jetfire's proving to be just as fun - I love his size, all of his weapons and armor bits are great, he's got built-in interactivity with other characters (his Titanmaster slots, his handholds for characters to hang off of his alt mode, the deliberate slot in his underside for Sixgun), and the stupidly-simple-yet-satisfying faction swap gimmick all give him a very high spot on my personal rankings. So I guess it boils down to personal preference in the end.
>>9554802Like all good micromasters Payload is actually a targetmaster. And turns into this little double barreled blaster.Cosmos can bust a bit of a move. Given his size he's mostly ball joints. In the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. With a swively head and a swively waist. That's a nice surprise.I didn't mention before but his UFO boosters and tailfin fold onto his back like a little jetpack.Someone at HasTak had some fun designing this guy.
>>9554742the budget went into buying the toys.
I still wanna know where that one guy said Terrorsaur is getting a og toy recolor and is gonna be in stores. Cause I can't find anything about it.
>>9554770>I want to shake bedshelfer's hand, that was a top quality line.Heh>masturbation is the best way to cure sexual immorality"if only I could rub my stomach and satisfy it the same way">who is kinda terribleHuh>respected the hell out of that guy for not kissing his assBut but he already liked him, that's why he came to visit..>weird greek midgetHeh>>9554783Ahh I have him, he's swell!>PayloadHm, how about that. They couldn't name him Blast Master for whatever reason, the guy who becomes the butt of the comboner space shuttle.>>9554824>animal fanGood taste, animals are very fun->over humanoid robotsHmm...>'dino-bird'Heh, someone knows.Glad you're enjoying Sky Lynx, I'm a bit sad I missed your review if you did one. Also glad you're enjoying the hell out of Jetfire, I'm really jealous.>SixgunFuck that guy>boils down to personal preference in the end.You sort of make me want to get both...>superiorityHeh>>9554830He's really swell, probably a worthy re-release of an older toy, they should do that with beloved/popular guys sometimes.
>>9554834Buzzworthy listing. Since it's target, it could also be a redcard.
>>9554837Redcard? I'm so out of it, what does this mean? Super Rare?
>>9554839Redcard means you have to have use a Target credit card to buy it. At least I think redcards are credit cards.
>>9554839>what does this mean? Super Rare?No but yes
>>9554846>>9554842Oh god fucking damn it. PUT HIM IN THE FUCKING LINE UP OF REGULAR TOYS I'M SICK OF THIS EXCLUSIVE SHIT
>>9554858Tell that to Capitalism, schizo
>>9554858It's still speculation, it might be a normal Target release, and those regular Buzzworthy releases were plentiful, so I don't think you'll issues finding it.
Exclusives of obscure repaints and the like are OK. Exclusives of core show characters are not OK and fuck literally everyone involved in allowing them to happen. Especially when Terrorsaur is the only one not available through regular retail.
>>9554830what a fun little combo. I wonder what fun engineering tricks could be had if we got a larger UFOformer.>>9554831it just occurred to me they got the toys for free, and prototypes at that, most likely.. that's gotta be such a fun thing about jobs like that.
>>9554866Oh good.>>9554865How am I the schizo?
>>9554879>if we got a larger UFOformer.>mfw no huge Cosmos to go with POWERglide and SwoleSpray
>>9554835at the very least it's interesting to once in a while have the 'robot mode' be an animal. a robotic animal, it would be fucking weird to have an organic coatimundi that turns into a golf cart.
>>9554865i don't know who told you what capitalism means but it doesn't mean that.you can't possibly think this makes anyone more money
>>9554865I don't think you understand how capitalism works.Maybe you meant consumerism?
>>9554894Oh, no yeah, it's like, woah that's insanely unusual and cool. Think- was it us? I was racking my head about Sky Lynx's origin as well as the status of Ravage and Laserbeak, and what to rally do with Sky Lynx. He's sort of just keeping watch towards my bed but what a majestic fellow, I'm a bit relieved every time I see him.
>>9554820Dont bully waspinator pls
>>9554783I would kill for a metallic silver Cosmos if they ever did a new Cosmos
Any canadabros know if Jetfire is still available anywhere? I got SG Starscream and it made me regret not buying him.
>>9554588Imagine how fun it would be if you were a minicon riding on Optimus shoulder like a parrot.
>>9554588You should get Primal Prime if he counts as an armoured up Prime to you. Plus the g1 optimus colors are so good.
>>9554007I hope they keep making more
>>9554913not canadian and no idea if this helps or what but I feel like I should bring up toysnowman again
I just realized I got a bunch of Beast Wars basics circa 96-97.I am missing (not counting recolors):- Razorbeast- Terrorsaur (probably gonna mercari one soon)- Armordillo-Insecticon-Bat Optimus- Drill Bit- Airazor (probably expensive due to main character)- Lazorbeak- Powerpinch- Snarl/Tasmania KidAnyone care to recommend or vouch for these?I'm pretty happy with what I got though.
>>9554915evidently the PotP version was never made, so that would only leave the regular, which is not really an armored-up prime.
>>9554940>RazorbeastOK toy, but not really worth the prizes he goes for. Fun enough if you can get him cheap and probably worth picking up if he shows up in the vintage line at all.>Terrorsaur (probably gonna mercari one soon)Decent little flipformer, but not the best representation of the character. You'd probably be better of going for the Lazerbeak repaint.>ArmordilloProbably the worst of the flipformers but not awful.>InsecticonThe best of the flipformers and if you were only going to have one flipformer make it Insecticon.>Bat OptimusDon't actually have this one myself.>Drill BitEffectively a scaled-down version of Transmetal Rattrap but in translucent plastic. Mine is OK but I've heard stories of them coming apart. He's not great, but he's not awful either. He's probably the weskest of the non-flipformer basics, but they're mostly an amazing bunch>Airazor (probably expensive due to main character)An OK figure, but I'm a bit biased since mine has a loose ankle joint and can't stand up for shit.>LazorbeakSee above>PowerpinchOne of the best of the Beast Wars basics second only to Razorclaw.>Snarl/Tasmania KidNot a bad little toy, but he's one of the weaker second year basics.
>>9554894that was something I really liked about RID2015you had things like the crabs and frogs and porcupines that turned into cars and trucks
>>9554940>I just realized I gotcorrect my niggle, but are you saying that you just realized you -acquired- them or just realized you -have- them? because neither makes sense.as for recommendations, every one of those is pretty cool in my book except snarl, who is garbage. just garbage. though parts of his robot mode are -okay-if you are really going to track them down then you have money, get all of them. if you have limited money, I guess the best ones are razorbeast, armordillo, insecticon, and powerpinch.
>>9554947>armordillo worst of anythinghey ho hey now, what have you got against my little shellsuit man? is it the way his cool weapons have unfortunate armadillo feet attached to them? or the way they are held by plugging into the top of the armadillo hands?
>>9554949this is something I was not aware of, along with basically everything about that linei mean it's still too playskool for me, but I love the idea. what the fuck does he have fake wheels on the sides of his bed...
>>9554953Armordillo doesn't suck, it's mostly that the other flipformers are better. The term least good is probably more appropriate rather than worst. We often forget just how great of a line Beast Wars was to have as few actually shit toys as it did. (Retrax is really the main one that comes to mind and even he's fun in Beast and ball modes, there may be some other bad ones from the final year, I'm missing most of them)
What the fuck? Savage Tigatron is in the way for me. I'm in Canada.
>>9554956oh I gotcha. yes the flipformers were such a good batch that armordillo is among their worst. that's fair. is it weird that I think rattrap is the actual worst one thoughand yeah i was just thinking about retrax (while trying to remember who Powerpinch was) and that guy is a mess but he's a fun mess. a creative mess.
There's a armadillo repaint in Robot Masters called Psycho Orb that I live because he has psychic powers for no reason
>>9554958>Savage Tigatron is in the way for me.Wrong. They're OUR way IN.
>>9554958is that the ammerzons? Mine still says march 8th or 9th
>>9554954I dont think they ever intended for him to get a toy
>>9554970this bodes well. if you don't mind, when did you put your pre-ordle in? wanna compare to when I did, and then get excited if it's close>>9554977woof. the toy looks better. but I still want more things like this.
>>9554593>Vertebreak staring up at him in aweDamn, that is some massive size difference there.
>>9554980Most of the RID Decepticons are pretty miss on the ‘hit or miss’ scale, but the two main ones are worthy of being featured again. Steeljaw may be a furry, but Troy Baker’s performance is too good to pass up. Thunderhoof is the GOAT. A mob boss voiced by Frank Stallone, goes from tractor to satyr with that big rack of horns, quite amicable for a Decepticon, the whole nine yards. Definitely deserves a Legacy voyager figure to really do him justice.
>>9554954There was a grass hopper that turned into a drag racer, surprised they didn't make a flip changer out of that.
>>9554824>>9554820I love that purple/green, but I ain't buying another Jetfire.
>>9554915nah, when I meant "armored Prime", I mean a regular Prime that combines with armor to get bigger, technically a super mode, whether from his trailer or another bot. Primal Prime, as a toy, doesn't need to combine with anything. One other Prime I am thinking about getting is Powermaster Prime, which technically is different than Super Ginrai
>>9555140Something like spark armor prime?
>>9554554I like you!
>>9555150wow, I completely forgot Cyberverse had armored Prime. Hell, the line actually had 2. Yes, for my collection purposes, I guess they do count
>>9555320Cyberverse has been around pretty long for a toy series
>>9555099But the one you already have is Skyfire
>when you realize they will never give us Marvel Soundwave
>>9555348kinda crazy how little the reissue/redeco version of him when you consider how popular he is
>>9554487>>9554493>>9554497That was a custom the guy was using to scam money. He got a lot of idiots to order his Inferno before he bounced
>>9554947I heard Powerpinch and his repaints had some sort of qc issue.Guess I'm not missing out much besides Razorbeast maybe.Hopefully the reissue line re-releases more non-show characters.
>>9555320I'm pretty sure this guy counts, too, for your purposes.
>>9555348Maybe that SG Soundwave that's been rumored will be purple instead of accurate to the lazy and boring FunPub version?I mean, all the other figures from Pulse have been accurate to what came before, but if they're going to deviate this would be the best place to do it.
>>9555373To many loud fans of SG would REEE at it.
>>9554865Capitalism would be putting your product in the largest number of stores possible, maximizing your customer base for maximum profit. This is the opposite of that.
>>9555385honestly, you deserve to get suckered into super duper special exclusive mart only sales for hyping up such a mediocre brand.
>>9555385Target paid to have it to exclusive to them, money talks, that's Capitalism baby
>>9555348nor will we get those obscure grunts who look like soundwave the thought of soundwaves body being mass produced is a smart idea on megatrons part.
>>9554940>Airazor (probably expensive due to main character)She's relatively cheap from what I've seen. Even MOC versions aren't nearly as expensive as some of the other BW deluxes
>>9555392I do not live near a target, therefore the product I would've bought will now go unbought because it is not available to me. More product would be sold without exclusivity, and deals like this simply hurt the consumer. Don't bother with a counterargument as none exist, exclusives just suck as a general practice and should be abandoned.
>>9555390>preorder item as it goes up>shows up at my doorI don't even get the issue with the Redcard. I've had it for almost a six years now (was my first credit card at 19) and all I do is use it at Target to get the 5% off and then pay it off every month. I get not liking the idea but this isn't like a Walgreens exclusive where you be safer ordering from Pulse than trying to get it from them. Hell that Redcard shit filters scalpers some as many cards got revoked for bot abuse during Red Wing.
>>9555403Anon. RedCard exclusives are online only. They don't show up in stores unless someone returned it. You don't have to live near one, you just need the card and an address or POBox. >exclusives just suck as a general practice and should be abandoned. Then you wouldn't get any of these figures. If they don't have them in the mainline now, they have no chance in an even more tighter market
Anyone here interested in these threezero mdlx figures? I'd like to see a Seeker done in this style.
>>9555413Is that some motherfuckin panzer world galient I see on the left there?
>>9555412>store exclusive AND online exclusiveIf this toy were on a shelf in a store where I live, I'd buy it. I'm not going to go out of my way and sign up for some store's card for a toy.Hasbro leaves money on the table by making it more difficult to obtain their products, I would pay them more for more things but I can't be bothered to jump through hoops for some exclusive toys.
>>9555422>I'm too lazy and demand to be treated like a retard
>>9555419I don't know what that is, but the sign looks to says Galient so I'll assume so, looks cool. I like the guy in the back but idk about that either.

>>9555474Woops, I misclicked. Meant for the illiterate anon, not you.
it was a good day

>>9555475>Woops, I misclicked. It's why you got to calm down anon. You are getting mad over the wrong things. Get some toys, take some photos, and enjoy yourself. We'd love to see what you've been getting and playing with this week.
>>9555481Not him but I'm raging because I missed the preorder window for Blaster and didn't get a email notification from hasbro pulse about it, but they sure as shit will send me one for some Nerf starwars gun, grr.
>>9555484You'll get him anon, he's in two cases of Kingdom (Solid, x4, with Tigerton, x2) and he is showing back up in Legacy's mainline. That means he'll be at retail all year and into next.
>>9554565Watch out for GPS but this lad has presence.
>>9555487Thanks, and that's good to know, he's one of my favorites.
>>9555484Actually it wasn't even a preorder last time, it was a straight up order. My experience was:>Almost didn't order him. >go ahead anyway >find four of him at Target the next day Almost bought one to hold onto just in case anything was wrong with the Pulse one. Luckily it was in good shape with good paint apps.
>>9555484>got a back in stock email from Pulse when this was posted>assumed it was going to have Blaster and was going to share here>it's just ThreeZero Power Rangers well darn
>>9555362>So you are me but from another world where you beat up small people?>It's called being a bully and you should try it
>>9555481>madI expressed discontent with the notion of exclusives that are harder to get than regular releases. 'u mad' doesn't really apply here anon, it's a justifiable frustration.Anyway I haven't bought a transformer since Wreck-Gar and Scourge just before Christmas. I don't know if I want to go for Junkyard, if I do I'll inevitably get another repaint and wind up with three of the fuckers.>>9555487This makes me glad, if Blaster was behind some company card or club signup nonsense, I'd be pissed. Since he'll be on actual store shelves there's a decent chance I'll get one, which I'm excited for. I never had G1 Blaster but as a kid I got to play with a neighbor's sometimes and loved the boombox bot. Do we think they'll do a cassetticon 2pack thing like they did with Soundwave? I want Eject, Rewind and Steeljaw, preferably not looking like rock candy.
>>9555422>>9555508>having actual store shelves Not all of us are living in big cities like you
>>9555479yeah packaging back then was so fun>>9555480hell yeah dude. I already have the dragon out, I need to do some cleaning as there were some rubber bands in the package that have kind of...melted onto the figure? Seems pretty easy to scrape off though.I've had Optimal Optimus for well over a decade and have always wanted dragon Megs to go with him, I guess I always thought they were the same size. Nope.
>>9555514>big cityAnon my town has like 12,000 people, we got two big-box stores dominating the landscape. When I want to shop for toys I go to town and hunt the shelves to see what's there. Last time I found Tigatron.
>>9555514It's worse when you consider he's bitching about things not being exactly like he wants.
>>9555518You save yourself a lot of stress and gas if you just order online. Hell with the supply chain crisis that went down you might even get stuff earlier than planned.
>>9555520>.02 target points have been deposited on your store cardShop Target™!
>>9555518>has two big box stores locally Jeez you don't have to show off
>>9555543We used to have Shopko, Kmart and Walmart as the big stores to buy toys from, then the older stores died out and got replaced by a Meijers, leaving it and Walmart as the only survivors. I don't know why we need both desu, they're like the same store.
having these two together just makes my heart so happy.
My local comicbook store also takes orders for Transformers.
>>9555498If anything he'll be at Ollies and other discount stores, seems like whatever is the last wave of Voyagers from a series just pop up there. They had the Quintesson Judges for fucksakes and I wager that's why he isn't budging too high on secondhand markets. >>9555530So are you wanting (You)s to fill those missing spots where those toys would be?
>>9555550Meijers is Walmart for people who don't want to feel like the kind of people that go to Walmart.
>>9555562Which is weird because I can walk from one to the other in like ten minutes on a nice day and they carry the exact same stock.>9555561I'm sorry that my opinion regarding exclusives upset you, it will be alright anon.
>>9555552It's weird how nobody has ever done anything of Megatron without the gray gun part behind his head, even the original Microchange art includes it. I feel like it's what the toy designer intended for the robots head to just be, but couldn't due to engineering and everyone since then just ignored it.
>>9555568why is that weird exactly?
I just buy online because the only stores I have access to are CVS and Walgreens. For me even a Red Card exclusive is easier to get than mainline.
>>9555573It's weird to me that two giant stores carrying the same items for sale are within eyesight of one another, both servicing a fairly small community. It's like when you see a Starbucks kitty-corner from another Starbucks. At least it doubles my odds of finding a transformer I want though, so that's nice.
>>9555574If you have stores it still makes sense to do both. I just preorder everything and take strolls for fun then. Takes all the stress and pressure off because the worse I got to do is buy a figure in stores to cancel the preorder and last year I only had to do that once as all the preorders came months before the stores got them.
>>9555570I think it sort of sticks out on the figure so there's always been some fudging to justify it as a helmet. Of course now it's just so iconic that you can't deviate from it if you're doing a G1 Megs. RiD, Armada, and Cybertron were pretty good at just doing their own thing for Megatron's head.
Well, speak of the devil! Literally just mentioned that SG Starscream was still MIA, and he just showed up on my doorstep as I got home! Not going to review him though - already did the Siege Seeker mold (and the only new thing about him is his sword, which splits into two swords for his original Botcon look), plus I've already spammed the thread in less than 12 hours. I do want to show off his paint scheme, though.
>>9555605That's one sexy Starscream - looks so good in-hand. I know his paint scheme is a reference to original Jetfire, but I love how 'doctor-y' it looks.
I'm pretty sure I got this guy from a thrift store or a friend, I never had his bigger partner. I've also never seen his missile, it was gone before I owned him.>>9555605>>9555610I don't care much about SG but Starscream does look pretty swell in those colors. The idea of a loyal, noble Starscream is weird but interesting.
>>9554607>>9554601>>9554596>>9554593Time to hunt one, black version really makes this mold look sinister.
>>9554746Love it, I wanted to pass on them but they are really neat.
>>9555610Seems everyone is saying he looks like a medical bot with this deco
>>9555631It's the predominant white with red accents - looks a lot like an ambulance, and is more or less the universal color scheme for anything related to First Aid (the white is to convey the notion of 'sanitation', while the red represents blood, if anyone was wondering what the symbolism behind that specific color choice was for the medical field). It fits SG Starscream because unlike his normal universe counterparts, his Shattered Glass version is still a scientist/doctor, not a soldier.
>>9555468Torrent client or jdownloader is the way to go. JD lets you rip stuff straight from streaming sites (the KA type ones). I only found this out last night when I was looking for some episodes that were missing from the galaxy force torrent I found on nyaa. Also try archive.org, you'd be surprised what people upload there
>>9555631I have him as that in my regular g1 fancanon, he's Starscream's medic, who he had done up like Jetfire as a coping mechanism due to the grief he felt after he lost Jetfire on Earth, the medic just finds it weird.
Debating if I wanna buy an extra 3p headset for sg. The only thing that sucks is no place for it to be stored in alt mode.
So who else is giving Blaster a Marvel yellow face?
>>9555791Probably David Willis.
>>9555713It looks great on him, maybe leave it on him then?Makes him look more hostile.

I'm surprised Hasbro made a new Skids. They'll prob not make rotf skids and mudflap studio series anytime soon, but a nice surprise anyway.
While no longer a complete asshole, sentinel major still has a long way to go from being a jerk.
>>9555930He's right to be bossy, look at his little winged autobot sigil, that means he's Elite.

>>9555942Just watch this review - its the same moldhttps://youtu.be/lZLccLMNCdc
>>9555962>an overpricedYou can find her for 60 USD, shes as big as modern leaders that go for the same price.
>>9555967>get a cheap chinese knockoff of an overpriced adult collectable instead of getting an actual fun official toyI would pass again, sorry.
>>9555373I'd like the colors, but I absolutely fucking despise the face. If their is one bot who should never have a faceplate, it's Soundwave.>>9555373How is making a new colorscheme rather than reusing an older one lazy?>>9555825Well, color me surprised. I guess they did consider Road Rocket to some degree in the production, but still not fully intended for him. It could also just be wheel wings for the sake of it .
>>9555954No? I'm just warning you, if you want to be an idiot and waste $60 on a terrible toy, then by all means go for it. Just don't complain when you get it.
>>9555942Shame they didn't gave her new crotch and rounder legs like the mp.
>>9555986You sound like a butthurt incel that just screams.Screeching is not an argument bro. Nobody would listen to you if you talk like that.
>>9555954The Kingdom mold only looks good, it sadly suffers from a number of problems, from parts not having enough clearance, clear plastic flexing too much (this will break it) and the legs not having anything to keep them in place. The red and blue plastic used also stresses easily, it's avoidable but it's something to take note.
>>9555994>-b-butthurt incel>to the post of the guy warning just you not to spend money on shit get out normalfaggot and dont come back dont forget to kill yourself on the way out.
>>9555949No, that's Rhinox and his leg transformation.
>>9555994>>9556005Boomer and Zoomer, everyone.
>>9555825You could easily make a new Ransack with this mold
>>9556026>GET IN EVERYONE ! >its the Boomer Zoomer oomer oomer show !
>>9556017It's bad but it works. Track's has a whole list of problems. Track's feels like it got a draft and was then put into production without ironing out any problems. A shame since it does look good.
Does anyone know where I could get replacement pins? I'm a neanderthal and sheared the head off of the pin holding SS Scavenger's arm. I also want some for custom stuff.
>>9555385>someone whee->someone REALLY liked the Wheelie book>was going to type "someone wheelie liked the wheelie book"help me>>9555413>>9555422Were there other red flag exclusives before, I think prior target exclusives showed up at Toysrus in Canada, but I don't know what's happening with this shit>>9555552Were you the fellow that wanted a matching Megatron? How'd you end up getting him?>>9555605Hope you enjoy the comic too, it's the only thing that made me care about Starscream since like, TAAO. And I guess the Halloween special.
>>9556005>get out normalfaggot and dont come back>dont forget to kill yourself on the way out.You still sound like an incel that rages about toys on polynesian wanking boards.Sad.
>>9555954>the blue oneNarcicistic autobot car from G1 named tracks. That's it.>that character E-hobby repaint based on Tracks' diaclone colorscheme, named Roadrage. A fembot who's always pissed in alt mode.
>>9556053Dunno, home depot? I heard people using paper clips to replace pins.
>>9556063Won't be strong enough.I'd suggest shaving down a nail or sewing needle
>>9554987fuck yeah, me too. that means either mine's coming next or you got lucky, and I will be happy for either.
>>9556032Needs to be just a bit chunkier, with way chunkier back and shoulders, but yeah.
>>9555140yeah I'm sure that anon just had a crossed wire with the Power of the Primes version of the Optimal Optimus mold, intended to be made and made into Primal Prime, but never produced.. because THAT guy counts as an armored super mode, right? but the only one we have is technically primal, not prime.
>>9555140>Armored Prime Collection>LG God GinraiPlease tell me you got PC-16.
>>9556082theres selects Star Convoy.
>>9556089Please don't be the last G1 Optimus Prime with yellow eyes. Please.
>>9556068Thanks anon, might try the nail idea since the pin needs a head on it.
>athena arrives in an autosaging thread>>9555352Classic weibo user, makes sense. I never attributed anything to it because I assumed it wasn't ever actually going to get made due to it just being some dude and not a company.
>>9555942>heRoad Rage is a chick, dude. Also, the MP is the superior version - 60 euros is too steep for that mold.
>Amazon lost my Slammer a week ago>Current order hasn't even shipped and they date keeps changing >Bought a Magnus as well, and doesn't even have a date>Both are still being soldI want to like you, Amazon, but you make this shit difficult.
>bought Slammer, Pipes, and Blaster from Hasbro Pulse >they all show up with no issuePipes is a good boy
>>9556085that's the 3rd party Ginrai compatible with Godbomber? Never got him, I'm satisfied with Takara's Ginrai it came with
>>9555140>>9556082In universe Primal Prime's body was the fake headless Optimal Optimus mech suit Megatron made fused with the Autobot Matrix of leadership. And Optimal Optimus was a power up from Transmetal Optimus. So I thought it might have counted.
>>9555610>>9555605Mine came with a tear in the plastic of his arm which fucking weirded me out and I'm scared I'm going to RIP his arm off in transformation.
>>9555385I'm glad there are people besides me who understand this. China is taking over in more ways than one, and redefining everything is part of it.
>>9556323>that's the 3rd party Ginrai compatible with GodbomberI don't know if you fully understand, so I'll say this.>Super Ginrai(Power master Optimus Prime) combines with Godbomber>Super Ginrai has a core robot; Ginrai(PMOP Core robot Optimus Prime)>Super Ginrai also has a Godmaster, who is also Ginrai(Hi-Q)>But TR PMOP/Legends Super Ginrai doesn't have Ginrai(PMOP Core robot Optimus Prime)It's not a 3p Ginrai Compatible with Godbomber, it's a 3p Ginrai that replaces the cab with a accurate core robot that transforms into the cab. Without that, I can't really see it as a true Super mode. I feel like their should be a distinction between Armored and Super mode.
>>9555465Why the hell don't I hate this body plan? I should hate this.he looks like Granitor.
>>9555479right? holy shit that's creative, and it cost them like a cent to do.>>9555478>>9555517heh just in time for the new version to come out and make it obsolete... naw it's not a bad toy though. smaller robot head and he'd be completely passable>>9555487I snicker each time you say Tigertron. Reminds me of being a kid and people called game cartridges tapes..
>>9555610I don't do the Shattered Glass thing so I've been trying to think of someone to repurpose this guy as (because it's not like I can just NOT buy the figure). For a while I was thinking of making him Skyfire before he defected to the Autobots, but I'm intrigued by the medical seeker angle.
>>9556451Could make him a teenage girl.
>>9555584I think in the case of redundant starbs, it's more an issue of the parent company giving no fucks if a franchise owner fucks over another franchise owner. Instead of acting as they should, in the guise of a tradesman's guild, self-regulating to preserve the industry, they seem almost cartoonishly evil in their hostility toward their customers and employees. The only explanation is that they are deeply insecure and expect to themselves be betrayed.
>>9556032i am so ready for a cybertron revival even if its a sublinejust don't be hard to find, or exclusive, or both
>>9556323Do you understand how Ginrai is supposed to work? The cab transforms into a robot. That robot can combine with the trailer to form a larger robot. Then that larger robot can combine with Godbomber to form the biggest robot. The TR/LG mold lacks the basic cab-to-robot form, as they stuck the cab permanently to the trailer in some insane decision. PC-16 simply provides that basic robot that you can use in place of the cab Super Ginrai normally comes with. The original cab is only attached by a single small screw, so it can easily be removed.
>>9556464What would the point be? Most of the figures were pretty good. There's not much a new version could do to improve them. Hell, In the early days of CHUG, they were repainting Cybertron molds and slot them in. Armada is the one that needs new figures.
Help my SG Starscream shrunk in the wash.
I love all my not jetfires
>>9556451Come to think of it...have they made any updated versions of the known Decepticon doctors (not counting Soundwave. He's more of a mad scientist)? I thought they'd have at least redeco'd the WFC Ravage mold into Glit by now. Maybe a flying Seeker medic is a good idea after all. Gotta come up with a good name , though.
>>9556482>>9556484Fold that flap away, buddy. You're blocking light piping.
>>9555962actually, seconding the KO since it comes with rubber tires and better plastic than the HasTak mp.
>>9556474ankle tilts, wrist and waist swivels, enhanced articulation in generali love cybertron but sometimes i can't display them the way i want because they just don't move that waycase in point is legacy titan metroplex, those ankles alone will give him more stability and natural poses
>>9556471oh wait, your right! I completely forgot how the PotP Primes work. I was thinking about Star Convoy since his cab is separate from the trailer. I don't really feel like getting PC-16 is necessary since Super Ginrai still combines with the Godbomber trailer, as per my collection restrictions
>>9556054I know that T-Wrecks was a red card exclusive and showed up at toysrus in canadaNot sure about any others. I guess I'll keep an eye out for road rage since that's the only other red card figure I can think of
>>9556487Well, there's the Constructicons
>>9556401>right? holy shit that's creative, and it cost them like a cent to do.I wish we still had fun packaging.>>9556451Go with Medical Seeker. I'd go with Decepticon Jetfire for SG Jetfire. I think SG is fine when it comes to stuff like SG Megatron, Prime, Grimlock, Goldbug(but his personality of a short guy boss is fucking stupid, although this is really only a thing with IDW SG), and Soundwave, but whenever I see someone repurpose a figure as SG it makes me so fucking mad. I just like OCs and repaints to fill the background and add to battles. It's almost like more world building. And each of those characters has their own personality. Powered Convoy and Slicer will always be cooler than SG Ultra Magnus and SG Wheeljack. And if they're not super cool, like Nightprowler or
>>9555605Does anyone else find the tabs very tight on their figure? I'm wondering if mold degradation is setting in.
>>9556522>I don't really feel like getting PC-16 is necessaryAlso is pretty much impossible to get this late, anyway.
>>9556487Call him Triage
>>9556487>have they made any updated versions of the known Decepticon doctorsWhat Decepticon doctors? I can't think of any besides Prime Knock out and Scalpel. G1 sure didn't have any.
>>9556524do you reckon it wasn't possible to do the rubbery material in a metallic red that would match
>>9556522Here's a counterpoint: You're a fag for not wanting your PMOP to have his core robot.
>>9556526I wish we still had INTACT packaging.
>>9556525Updated versions, anon - the most recent Constructicon toys came out in, what, 2015?>>9556535Glit, Moonheart, Prime knock-Out, Scalpel, Flatline are the ones I can think of off the top of my head; there's also a couple of characters from the comics who were medics, like Ambulon (who changed sides). None of them have recent figures.>>9556533>Call him TriageI like this.
>>9556535You can always give a decepticon badge and a mouthplate to T30 Trailcutter for an easy Flatline custom.
>>9556487>He's more of a mad scientistAre you thinking of Shockwave? Soundwave's a Spy and communications specialist.>Glit Hasbro likely wants to ignore KP's existence, and I would only buy SG Ravage to smash to pieces with a hammer.>>9556541They got the blue metallic. It's just a matter of how much paint they want to use.
>>9556546>>Updated versions, anon - the most recent Constructicon toys came out in, what, 2015?I mean there's just not enough slots to crank out new ones every year
>>9556543Ah, yes the risk of grubby handprints and missing parts.
>>9556489What? On the cyber jet? How?
>>9556550well that's just it, it's expensive to paint the ENTIRE figure, and painting rubber is already a little tricky. so generally you want the main color of the toy to be the plastic itself. but I'm wondering if it was hard to get it to match if they add metallic and have two different materials.
>>9556550>Are you thinking of Shockwave? Soundwave's a Spy and communications specialist.Yeah, typo.> I would only buy SG Ravage to smash to pieces with a hammer.I'm betting he and Laserbeak will be the cassettes packed with the rumored SG Soundwave, as they're the only ones we've seen in the comic so far. Thankfully, he's not as annoying in the new continuity so far, though he is still fairly chatty.
>>9556528Yeha one tab from the wings to arm literally ripped a tear in the arm because it's so tight and it was done by a factory worker so it was out of box. I'm thinking of sending some pegs down so it doesn't pull his fucking arm off.
>>9556550>Hasbro likely wants to ignore KP's existenceIt's funny how it was in Animated Botcon sets and SG Botcon sets. (Also I agree with that anon fuck repurposing figures as Shattered glass.) If we get a SG soundwave we might get a notglit Also fuck walky
>>9556526>Powered Convoy and Slicer will always be cooler than SG Ultra Magnus and SG Wheeljack. And if they're not super cool, like Nightprowler orI fucking hate Shattered Glass Beast Wars it's so bad for this.
>>9556553honestly i wouldn't mind other people touching my toy before I buy it as long as they have a little basic courtesy, but we can't trust people anymore. I'd like to see that changed along with changing the packaging, yknow.
>>9556554When you're halfway through transformation the little panel has room to fold into the chest
>>9556546Studio Series Core class Scalpel when?
>>9556593White repaint of Perceptor
>>9556595>repaint of PerceptorSave it for Magnificus.
>>9556398Deep Dive is rad, I'd love a big version. When else are we going to get a nuclear submarine transformer?
>>9556524Yeah, he showed up normally, hm..>Thrust and Runablack were gigarare, only saw the latter once and bought, he's like 3 times the retail price now>T-Wrecks was frequently seenI wonder what will happen this time...
>>9556558>Yeah, typo.Cool.>I'm betting he and Laserbeak will be the cassettes packed with the rumored SG Soundwave, as they're the only ones we've seen in the comic so far.I mean it's the same team as the Netflix Soundwave.>Thankfully, he's not as annoying in the new continuity so farOne of the changes in the new SG comic I actually like.> though he is still fairly chatty>Remotely similar personalityFuck.>>9556563Actually I was going to say they can be cannon fodder, not repurposed into SG, but I forgot to finish. Oops.>>9556561>It's funny how it was in Animated Botcon sets and SG Botcon sets. Well that also had Funpub.>(Also I agree with that anon fuck repurposing figures as Shattered glass.)It's nice to know there's others on the same page as me.>If we get a SG soundwave we might get a notglitIf they make SG Laserbeak Buzzsaw, I'll just end up putting all of SG Soundwave's cassettes with the regular Decepticons.>Also fuck walkyYup.>>9556568Yeah.>>9556593That would be really fun.>>9556601This. Magnificus is so fucking cool. He'd be a definite buy for me, unless they don't give him the toy head.
>>9556614>Tfw never saw, let alone got RunaboutPlease reissue him, he's so fucking cool, why the fuck did he have to be the exclusive Battlecharger?
>>9556609I had an idea for a Boeing Chinook-Submarine Triple changer.
>>9556670Shoot the Shitty Comedian....wait, you were talking about video games. Always wanted to try War for Cybertron or Devastation, but never got around to it. The phone games (Forged to Fight and Earth Wars) are kinda shitty, but they're the only games I've played.
>>9556682you waited too long, activision pulled WFC, FOC and Devastation on all digital platforms a few years back. you can still get the discs though, just no DLC
>>9556474some of them are pretty fucking jank.just update the jank ones
>>9556653>Please reissue himThat's beyond my power, friendHopefully soon, though
>>9556690Depending on where he is, amazon still sold steam keys last I checked.
>>9556054>Were you the fellow that wanted a matching Megatron? How'd you end up getting him? That's me. I just bit the bullet and snagged the one in the best condition I could find. Was not cheap but it's something I've wanted since I was a kid so fuck it. Very happy with it.>>9556401>heh just in time for the new version to come out and make it obsolete... naw it's not a bad toy though. smaller robot head and he'd be completely passableOh how you miss the point anon. I'd so it's only a 2-3 year period where one version of a figure makes another obsolete. When you're buying 20+ year old toys, you do it because you appreciate its place in history with its unique engineering and design language of the time.
>>9555942If that's the worst figure of Kingdom, than we have been spoiled.
>>9556703It isn't - just a close runner-up.
>>9556690>>9556700Piracy's a thing. Just sayin'.
>>9556707I like the way she looks but having bought Elita already I have no desire to own this toy. I wish Arcee's design was easier to translate into a toy that didn't require the entire altmode getting folded up into a backpack. Do any anons who own both her and T30 Arcee prefer the newer one? Curious to hear user reports.>>9556712Used game stores too, you can probably find an xbox360 copy for under $10.gknvs
>>9556716>Do any anons who own both her and T30 Arcee prefer the newer one?I own the T30 Nightbird, and I can tell you the WfC Arcee is a huge step backwards - the T30 makes an attempt at an actual transformation and accomplishes it without any partsforming. Got to wonder what the hell they were on when they made her Earthrise figure, or when they rereleased that same shitty figure a second time for Kingdom. They had very little that they needed to improve, but they decided to reinvent the wheel - and failed at it horribly.
>>9556716The T30 Arcee is better.I would almost forgive the shellforming on the new one if the packback became something good. It's just a not-convincing-at-all hoverboard. You can't even attach guns to it.
>>9556727I guess the T30 one goes over budget now.
I would forgive it if the whole car just partsformed off. It would still suck, but then you could have a clean robot mode and a car separate and there's some fun there.
>>9556697I was just saying. But yeah.>>9556733They would still require Arcee's kibble(the most bullshit kibble ever).>>9556716I don't really like Arcee. There's hotter and cooler fembots.
>>9556701>That's me. I just bit the bullet and snagged the one in the best condition I could find. Was not cheap but it's something I've wanted since I was a kid so fuck it. Very happy with it.Ahhh, it must have cost a pretty penny, but you finally got your holy grail!! So I'm very happy for you.>>9556707It's what a lot of folks told me when I was deciding: very pretty and fun toy, but NOT a great transformer. At all. Fucking hell.>>9556743>I was just saying. But yeah.Since a lot of folks probably didn't get Runawhite on his own (unless they were unfortunate folk who assumed they could snag Runablack aaa..), maybe a 2-pack wouldn't be unreasonable? But Hasbro's the type to like, fucking>2pack of Runabout and Topspin>2pack of Runamuck and Nancy (the Junkion)>2pack of Twin Twist and Punch/Counterpunch (again)Hasbro's run by cocks now, but it's been sucking them for much longerYes I'm angery
>>9556743Bite your tongue
>>9556752>2-packs that require you to get 2 different two packs if you want a team of 2God I absolutely fucking hate this. Just make the team one 2-pack like Thundercracker and Skywarp.
>>9556760>Just make the team one 2-pack like Thundercracker and Skywarp. What's that, you want them colour-coded? So it's Thundercracker with Dirge, and Starscream with Thrust and Ramjet??? Skywarp's gonna be a TFcon exclusive then, see you there, have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>9556752>2pack of Runabout and TopspinWhich would suck since I still have TR Topspin, good toy though it is.
>>9556752>It's what a lot of folks told me when I was deciding: very pretty and fun toy, but NOT a great transformer. At all. Fucking hell.Yeah, she doesn't even really attempt to transform at all compared to the T30 - just bend her legs up and fold the car over her.
>>9556752>very pretty and fun toyMaybe I need to get around to opening her.
>>9556769Her vehicle mode is worse too despite being a shell
>>9556765which one will be the Target exclusive that'll always be out of stock
>>9556769looking at that pic makes me appreciate how much effort went into having the T30 at least try to transform and incorporate herself into the car mode.
>>9556752>>9556768Didn't we just got a leak list with the Jumpstarter bros on their latino colors listed as amazon exclusives?
>>9556765No, Thundercracker and Skywarp is a 2-pack done right. They're a team. Ideal 2-pack in this scenario(not necessarily the ideal situation) would be >Battlechargers 2-pack>Jumpstarters 2-pack>Nancy and some other Junkion>MAKE PUNCH/COUNTERPUNCH A REGULAR RELASE FOR FUCKS SAKE HE'S BEEN AN AMAZON EXCLUSIVE FUCKING TWICE IN A ROW
>>9556795It was just a hypothetical.>>9556769This is a runner up for best "new figure is way fucking worse". only other big contender is Rhinox.
>>9556809Whats wrong with Rhinox? I avoided that figure.
>>9556815Well first off, he looks way worse and isn't as accurate. But he's also generally a worse transformer. Fauxforming, hollowness, utter garbage transformation, and big panels that just their in robot mode.
>>9556809>>9556820Yeah, but at least Rhinox actually transforms. Arcee just does yoga.
>>9556815Transformation sucks bigtime and the aesthetics don't match the OG cartoon or the Netflix show. The leg transformation is the single most unintuitive cumbersome least fun transforming experience in recent memory. I haven't had experience with Arcee yet, but she'd have to be astronomically shit to make me hate her more than that fucking Rhinox leg shit.
>>9556768Too bad :)))>>9556769Eugh. I hate how she looks at me like that. She must be bullied.>>9556774If you could return/exchange for a better deluxe, then go for it. Would have preferred Warpath or Airazor. But she's very fun without her backpack, and her car's like, okish.>>9556783Your favourite, of course.>>9556795I hope so->amazon exclusivesI hope the moon aliens tell Bezos to shut down his shitty company.>>9556800Yes, it's not the worst two-pack. You greentexted normal two-packs for sane people, designed by sane executives. What *I* greentexted was realistic and common practice, because Primus hates us and we are living in hell.
>>9556830Why don't they just re-release old figures instead of rebuilding them from the ground up in a worse fashion? Wouldn't they save money by not having to develop a figure and create new molds?
>>9556769willis made a good joke about it back when he was still relatively sane>she turns into her own coffinthat was about that boat chick but it's the same idea and they just keep doing it for ladybots.
>>9556837Because some times there's figures that actually are better than the previous one like KD Waspinator.
>>9556830yeah it was based on a fucking fone game. possibly by mistake.>>9556837i'm with you dude>>9556846which is largely similar to the T30 one, which is exactly what they should be doing. copy one that worked fine, recycle it. improve it if you can.
>>9556831>If you could return/exchange for a better deluxe, then go for itUnfortunately she came from BBTS and I'm in NZ, so that'd be kind of tricky. I've got a second Rhinox coming from there as well now after I found him locally and grabbed him not knowing how garbage he was. I should probably have store credited him for a second Cyclonus or something before shipping out, at least that could have gone under a charity Christmas tree and made a child happy. I can't bring myself to do that with a Rhinox because few children deserve the pure agony that are those legs.
>>9556846I'm talking about the ones where there is nothing that can be improved. Like Arcee and Rhinox. If they can tell that there's no room for improvement, just re-release the old one.
>>9556844>they just keep doing it for ladybots
>>9556850>which is largely similar to the T30 one, which is exactly what they should be doing. copy one that worked fine, recycle it. improve it if you can.Exactly. Take T30 Rhinox, give him better colors, head, hands, articulation, and a wider alt mode head, and we'd have a great new Rhinox figure. But then picrel made KD Rhinox.
>>9556844New Thunderblast when?
>>9556861T30 Arcee could use just a bit more articulation, and as I said in >>9556865, T30 Rhinox is not perfect, but he is not far from greatness.
>>9556867Thunderblast would be an amazing choice for the next BigFireBird figure.
>>9556852Argh. I don't know how the product IDs are for the stores there, and I know some SS86s have unique codes for the characters. Was hoping you could do something but aa..>Rhinox is that badGeez... I'm not sure what you could do, I didn't look into him but I'm sorry for the experience. I'd say trade it with someone, but New Zealand's a pretty small place (yet I know TWO anons from there??), idk if there's many bot-lovers/transmans there.
>>9556872They should just give her different alt mode shells to wear like outfits
>>9556862not too good at english, are ya
>>9556880Don't the shins become the front of the boat? Intercahngable boots too?
Lockdown, Lugnut, Slipstream, Bulkhead,It seems like most of the memorable Animated OCs have gotten G1/Generations/mainline redesign figures, when are we getting another Oil-slick? The dude has an awesome design, he’s Biowarfare Mr. Freeze who turns into a chopper, how can you keep passing up on that?
>>9556886It's not like every lady bot is turning into her own coffin.
>>9556891Damn, this looks good.
>>9556891This would also be okay I guess. Assuming it would even be legal; who owns the Go-bots IP these days?
>>9556900That's a tangled web, legal wise
>>9556900IIRC, Hasbro owns Gobots names, and Bandai owns Machine-robo, but are licensing it out to Action-toys currently.
>>9556900for this to happen, Im gong to need them to put pegs on his shoulders for his wheels
>>9556756Springer (and sometimes hotrod) get this, and we get jack shit. Its not fair bros.

>>9556936>anon, could you help me with my augments? In this scenario, am I a Transformer?
>>9556939Yes, you are a genericon
>>9556892That's right. That's what "they keep doing it" means. Repeatedly, but not exclusively. Otherwise I would have used the word "always."Hope I could help you with a very difficult language that lots of people have trouble with.

>>9556936Who would be a character to be her bf? I don't know why, but exhaust comes to mind.>>9556974Pale blue guy with the visor.
>>9556981What vehicle mode would he have? I was thinking some kind of amphibious armored vehicle.
>>9556982>pale blue guy with the visorgood choiceCOME ON FHQWHGADS
>>9556987Siege tank, spiked for breaking through fortifications and maiming defenders. First into the fight, a shock trooper through and through.
>>9556990Thank you.>COME ON FHQWHGADSWhat?>>9556991Nice.
>>9556982Exhaust: Hey babe, wanna go on (cough) a double date with Bugbite and his new girl?Shadow Striker: You know I don’t, he’s got that infernal body type. Reminds me of HIM.Exhaust: Look, he’s like my only friend, so what if he’s got an organic brain (cough) and looks like the douche who crippled you? He’s a good guy!Shadow Striker: NoExhaust: Fine, then we’re going clubbing with Doubledealer.
>>9556992>What?>he doesn't knowYou utter bumpkinhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ceGeTD1PN4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFNcStdF_OkYou uncultured gremlin, hmph
>>9556996>The implication that Exhaust is a mercenaryOtherwise, cute.
>>9557000How do we feel about the merc faction? It seems kinda gay for said faction to have an insignia of "hey I cannot be trusted/only gonna do what's in my contract teehee", whereas it'd be better to be like Doubledealer, Punch/Counterpunch, or just be unmarked like some micromasters.
>>9557096factions make sense for militaries, but they also make sense for sort of.. legions.. they KIND OF make sense for guilds. But regular one-off Krombopolous Michael types should not be a faction.
oh huh, image limit. well that's time for a new thread then. feels like we just made one.
>>9557110>make sense for militariesIt's a good common agreement of "listen, we both need this so neither of us have too much friendly fire">but they also make sense for sort of.. legions..Like Jhiaxus and co? For the Kreons that sometimes had misprints or me wanting to have them have different roles without scratching off their faction symbols, I took them to mean that it was a stamp of where they were (made) from.>they KIND OF make sense for guildsOk if it's like a mercenary union where there's some Killmaster Death-Head boss in charge of funds and missions then yeah, a symbol's good. But is that what the mercs are?>But regular one-off Krombopolous Michael types should not be a faction.Or is it literally this? Because I don't think self-serving "I hate the memelord junkions" Detritus has any reason to be with Bugbite or Doubledealer (I KEEP saying "Doubleheader").>>9557112Someone made a new thread, with an outdated pastebin, that they never linked (>>9556636). I genuinely don't know if it's Goanon, but he DOES own the Victory set and he DID cite a made-up "reply limit"I dunno, I don't work here
>>9557119It's a little sloppy, but it was made at image limit which is what matters to me.maybe next time they'll even include the /tfg/ stamp!
>>9557124>it was made at image limitIt was made 4 hours before image limit, 10 minutes after >>9556614>maybe next time they'll even include the /tfg/ stamp!Ehh, sometimes there's comfy stampless images that are ok for threads. But they're also comfy to have too.
>>9557096Yeah. I feel it's stupid when some Decepticon or Autobot just becomes a Mercenary. Exhaust is supposed to be the Decepticon equivalent of Wheeljack(+Smoking), their supposed to be enemies.>Punch/CounterpunchHe's an Autobot spy.>>9557119>Like Jhiaxus and coNo, I thought the Cybertron Empire was just another Military faction.>Or is it literally this? Probably so.
>>9557722>Yeah. I feel it's stupid when some Decepticon or Autobot just becomes a Mercenary. Exhaust is supposed to be the Decepticon equivalent of Wheeljack(+Smoking), their supposed to be enemies.Did you not read his backstory? He's one of the few that actually works as a mercenary.
