Better?
>>
This game had no right being as good as it was and I am seething that we're probably not gonna see a box set or individual gamerverse releases for the versions of these dudes from here. Fuck PS4/5 spidey costume #12505, when the fuck am I getting this Star Lord?
>>
>>9545909
No cause that's just the Thing with a girl head. I realize their body is rock so I take back my statement. I totally wouldn't.
>>
>>9545935
Ehh. The game might have been good but these are really just a mix of MCU and modern looks and I really don't mind not getting figures of them
>>
>>9545940
Different anon but I honestly prefer the game design for Star Lord by virtue of it not being Chris Pratt. But also the details on the jacket just work a lot better for me. Same for Gamora's white and black armor.
>>
>>9545943
Completely agree. The Star-Lord patch being bright green brings the design together considerably better, and Gamora's costume having the cyber-ninja look is a huge improvement from all her MCU looks. Same with Groot having a bit of tech on him, even if it is just a Rocket carrying caddy.
Considering we're never going to get a good rerelease or rework of their Annihilation Conquest era, and considering the game addresses and fixes all the problems I had with MCU Guardians, I want these more than just about anything right now.
>>
>>9545935
I’m not a big fan of the designs it’s like they are trying hard to not make them the movie version while at the same time trying to make it close to the movies to appeal to mcu casuals

Has No Way Home been released in all the countries it's showing in yet?

Is that why Hasbro isn't showing off their No Way Home Marvel legends wave? That's something they're doing right? They've NEVER missed a Spidey wave when a Spider-Man movie comes out.

I stopped collecting superhero stuff long ago, but I would absolutely break that edge for a 6inch Tobey Spider-Man, and Defoe Goblin.
>>
>>9545935
I'm surprised people are enjoying it as much as I hear, I thought that game looked like ass.

I also despise the aesthetic they went with.
>>

>>
>>9545935
Game was good but I'm not a huge fan of the designs. They were just the not MCU costumes and I have figures of those already. I'd rather we get more comic inspired costumes from the DnA run. That old box set just doesn't cut it imo.

Most likely scenario is that Marvel kept as much of it under wraps as they could, so Hasbro didn't get a head start on the big NWH characters.
>>
>>9546285
Despite everyone thinking it was happening as well as leaks, I'm glad they tried as hard as they did. Was more fun not having seen them in trailers first.

>>9546079
Last place it will release is on the 28th in Norway but I’d imagine they’d do the announcement for wave 2 sometime around when the digital/blue ray releases are announced (which will probably be announced this month or the next) I would think hasbro would want to get legends/basic figures out as soon as possible to get people like you and I so hopefully we don’t have to wait too long

I don't know if fellow Punisher Anon is still lurking these threads, but I finally finished my 2005 game Punisher custom. It's more of a kitbash than anything, but I'm happy with it and finally happy to have it done. Particularly proud of the belts which I stitched myself.

I was hesitant on painting the neck of my MJ kitbash, she's wearing that shirt because I'm not sure how I wanna do her infamous white Spidey-heart shirt, but it was easier than I thought and it looks much better. Especially when I'm not looking at her this close.

>>

They seem to mainly be focusing on the Spiderverse property, I'm assuming they'll make more characters from that movie before they make any comic or live action versions of Spider Man.
>>
>>9546520
You don’t deserve toys anyway. So no problem there :)

I actually kind of hope we do get figures of these designs, along with Matis and Lady Hellbender as well. I'd also like a figure of the Avengers Game Black Widow, Black Panther and Thor. Tactle Neck Widow to be specific and the Street Clothes outfit for Thor.

With Doctor Strange 2 around the corner and Classic Strange already dropping in some places, Shuma-Gorath should only be a matter of time, right?
>>
>>9547021
Shuma Gorath isnt in the movie
>>
>>9547024
I don't think it has to be. Just a generic non-Shuma-Gorath beholder monster should be enough to warrant making a classic Shuma-Gorath.

I could see them doing it in a few years during another dry spell in the MCU like when Covid hit.
>>
>>9547021
I refuse to believe they could budget one that would be worth it, at least Hasbro couldn't. Even a BAF would be like 3 joints per tentacle for a total of 5 plus the body, with no spike replacements or mouth parts. Unless Yamaguchi is begging whoever handles the licenses, we're not gonna see one anytime soon. Americans don't know he exists outside of MvC players and while the japanese love him, there's no fucking way anyone but Revo is going to take a shot.

if we're gonna talk about the Avengers game then I think its about time we got a figure of Spiderman in a sweater vest
>>
>>9547056
How flexible were those tentacles used on HasLab Sentinel? I doubt every single tentacle has to be done with joints, probably only 2 or 3.
>>
>>9547035
This has discount two-pack at written all over it.
>>
>>9547058
they've already got the parts from MCU Klaue, don't see why not.

In fact...
>>
>>9547024
Gargantos is just Shuma-Gorath but legally they can't use the name because it's taken from Conan the Barbarian, which isn't public domain yet.
>>
>>9547069
Oh, is that the problem? Thanks, wasn't aware.
>>
>>9547060
>I doubt every single tentacle has to be done with joints, probably only 2 or 3.
And this is what I mean by "worth it." I don't want some orb with no eye movement and over half the tentacles being static and the rest being rubberized wires, that's awful.
>>
>>9547073
Yeah. Gargantos is the name of a generic tentacle monster that's only shown up twice, there's no reason to genuinely use that character in a Doctor Strange movie, and the design in both the Lego set and trailers is clearly meant to be Shuma in all but name.
>>
>>9547081
I thought it was odd. Guessing there's gonna be a line about how "he goes by many names" or something.
>>
>>9547074
I guess. Then again, by this logic, no one really has done "proper" Carnage or other symbiotes either. Having a few articulated, some wired and swappable tentacles should really be enough.
Having an eye with a hundred joints wouldn't make a fun toy anyway.
>>
>>9547106
That's the thing though. Carnage and Venom are big dudes who sometimes depending on the depiction have articulated tentacles. Shuma is literally a big eyeball with a bunch of tentacles. It's why I believe Revo is the only line that could do it well, because you could have 3 or 4 different sizes of tentacles with different joints, as well as option parts for the dark dimension activation or spike balls.

I just meant they kept their participation out of the trailers. I didn't know Church and Ifans were back. I was delighted to hear. I was worried they would just be monsters and not talk. The lizard is even initially presented this way and boy was it a great tease. I'm a big fan of connors from the 90's cartoon. I really hope connors becomes a character in spider-man moving forward, if they do college movies.

Also.... where's my connors/banner figure hasbro?!

I collect the line. I think Ultron, Thor, Wasp, Widow, and Hawkeye would be really fun to have for Avengers. It's interesting to think of parts reuse i.e. Archangel and Vulture can use the new Falcon's wings. The pulse exclusive wolverine has upper arms with shoulder panels that I think work really well for Silver Centurion Iron Man. I have some ideas for vehicles like a Spider-Man that comes with the Spider-Mobile and has two C-Grip hands to hold the steering wheel. They can make it special with metallic blues and reds and maybe a more 80's chest logo. Another idea I had after getting Loki was a Quinjet with a Captain America in metallic blue and red but tampographed scales on his upper torso.

Supposedly Sony wanted to show everything in trailers to get people into seats and Marvel said nah. I know Marvel/Disney gets a lot of shit but they do make some good decisions. I liked Lizard from the 90s too which is why I'm hoping we get a retro one this year and not just the likely NWH Goomba.

Peter fell into a pit of radioactive spiders that ate him and now have a hive mind that acts like Peter. So he’s basically Peter’s brain controlling a bunch of spiders. But he mostly uses his spiders to form a human shape with a Spider-Man costume on. He’s not 100% Peter-brained though, he still gets hungry for humans and stuff.

He doesn’t have much in the way of comic appearances, he’s just one of the cooler new alternate Spideys that came out of Spider-Geddon, which was ultimately a lackluster sequel to Spider-Verse a few years earlier.

It would help if they'd release that Dorm as a deluxe figure, since that entire BAF wave was awful and nobody bought it for anything but Dorm, and the original box set release is even more hard to come by. Like there's really no "good" Dorm choice right now in general annoyingly. Plus putting the old BAF in a deluxe box or making a bigger classic Dorm at the same price point could mean they'd be able to include more flame effects.

True, but how much time do you spend looking at his armpit vs how much time you spend looking at the front of his shoulder. Looks a lot neater aesthetically than the shoulders of the mafex. And going from the previously posted video >>9546484, you only loose a tiny bit of the range motion.

They’re reminiscent of DCUC legs, even though I know they’re the same legs on several Spider-Men.
>>
>>9549840
Yeah, whenever they did Spiderverse and Spider Geddon, they seemingly agreed to make two kinds of “new spider people”: people like Spider Gwen or SP//DR, which are neat twists on the Spidey origin story. Or versions where Peter gets bitten or eaten by spiders, and turns into some nasty spider creature.

I guess Bullet Points Spidey is a little of column A, little of column B. I wonder if we’ll ever get him as a figure.

>>9550759
I don’t really care how big he was in the comics. I just want a $50 12-18” Dormammu to play with. I don’t really care for his modern look at all, and I wouldn’t buy many other large figures like that, but the recent Dorm was so good I’d gladly buy him again at a larger scale.

I really love the design choice of having Holland Spideys eyes have lenses to focus better. Just a throw away line but it lets him have comic inspired expressions with his eyes. Any idea if they'll bother making a figure of his suit from the ending of NWH or was it not shown enough to bother? It was only like 30 seconds but I need it.

If anyone bothers putting magnets on their Spidey wall crawl hands here's something that may help which I realized today. I use hot glue and some tiny cylinder 3x3mm magnets. Get one attached to something like the end of an exacto knife or nail etc. Dip it in the hot glue you added to the hands palm stretch the glue out to your desired position while keeping it in place until the glue dries. Which will only be like 30 seconds at most. Before I was adding way too much glue to try and get it where I wanted. Doing it this way you still need enough to make it worth it but it's much more manageable.

That shot was fucking insane and the only terrifying part of that absurdly awful movie because you can clearly see she really on the edge with no wires. Also the wind was blowing like a mf, it's a miracle Blair didn't fell. I heard her stunt just ask for a day off because she won't do that shit and Linda say "hey, I can do it". Fucking insane.

He never had mechanical eyes in the comics, they were just drawn with expression
>>
>>9554731
Yes, because they're comics. To let the live action Spidey mimic the comic expressions they gave him lens eyes.

Hasbro purchased the Marvel vs Capcom master license and can actually produce a Shuma Gorath but only in his game form. You can see him in toy form as he appeared in MvC 1,2,3,etc but not as a movie character.
