What happened that made her switch careers from firefighter to stunt driver?
>>9376126Top fucking kek
>>9376131She had a lesbian crush on pic related and wanted to get closer to her
>>9376138>wanted to get closer to herme too anon, me too.
>>9376151You are a sinner, trainfag
>When you sell your soul to the SNOT overlords to make a better looking front of your model'The two green cheese slopes are held in with just some friction, I'm honestly surprised they stay in so well no matter how much I shake the thing.
>>9376154This does look better though desu
>>9376153Ultimate power must come at ultimate sacrifice. And by sacrifice I mean reworking the entire smokebox so that half of it sits a half-plate lower than normal.Other than a lone 1x3 tile, the Bagnall is now fully olive. I'm still waiting on a few more orders to arrive for more minor details (like the valve gear, foot ladders, that 1x3 olive tile, etc) but she's much closer to completion now.
>Buy pic related>Single missing 1x3 plate at the back>Hit up lego support>7-10 days deliveryJesus are they sending this single piece straight from the factory in china or what.
>>9376162What the fuck. I just bought this like a week ago and it had the exact same missing piece. What's the batch number on the box? If you still have it.
>>9376131>>9376138It's Autism o' clock, folks!
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2021/oct/11/lego-to-remove-gender-bias-after-survey-shows-impact-on-children-stereotypeswhat does this mean for the future of lego? are you ready to get rid of the forbidden stereotypes you might have?
>>9376172They better delete the entire Friends theme then!
>>9376167>What's the batch number on the box? If you still have it.Uh 638S1 - 004101 - 6365574Item: 6332988
>just wanted to pick up one of the flywheel bikes>now I feel like I have to get one of the bigger sets so they actually have something to do the stunts withhelp
>>9376172Honestly the only thing I see coming from this is more male figs showing up in Friends/girl-oriented sets and more female figs showing up in Castle/Space/boy-oriented themes. Maybe spreading out more of the pastel colors that only really show up in Friends sets into general themes too. Or maybe they mean we'll get shit like this in Lego form in a few years.
>>9376180Nah, mine's different. I guess TLG just suck, who would'a thunk.
>>9376174We could only hope to be so lucky anon.
>>9376172In one way, I think friends is dumb as a separation and usually tried to get normal sets for my niece. On the other hand, the VP of design is a fag, so this has nothing to do with "gender bias"
>>9376187wouldn't mind some pastel speed champios, the generic red/blue/black/white sports cars are starting to get a little boring.
>>9376190>Nah, mine's different. I guess TLG just suck, who would'a thunk.Funny this is the first time I ever had a Lego piece missing I haven't bought Lego in like 15 years and only recently started to get into building blocks again with Cobi tanks.
>>9376162>>9376167why did you buy this? not out of hostility, just curiosity. this is imho one of the best examples of the "gray box" meme star wars sets get, and Iike star wars
>>9376223I mean all the Imperial shit is gray boxes or triangles.
>>9376223Grey box is only an insult to people who either don't like star wars or care way too much about what retards in /lg/ think. People buy star wars vehicles because they like the source material
>>9376223>>9376243/lg/ is more like Tie the Lego Guy than they like to admit
>>9376223That's one of the best grey boxes out there. Tons of playability options, go watch jang's review.
>>9376162this has to be one of the ugliest sets i've ever seen, reminds me of this abomination from 2008.
>>9376248>>9376252The duality of /lg/
>>9376248We dont talk about J*ng around these partshttps://youtu.be/_CNGplK96eE
Hey /lg/, Lego and TT are coming out with a Lego Platform Fighter like picrel. Only Who do you hope is on the roster? Only original IPs though.
>>9376272I'm a retard. Forgot picrel
>>9376248>go watch jangno. kill yourself bamidele shangobunmi shill.
>>9376223It's a cool sci-fi tank with a lot of playability.
>>9376272Realistically half the roster will be Lego movie charactersI would want>Rocket Racer>Max>A Rock Raider/Power Miner (alt skins)>Space Policeman (alt skin for all versions)>Classic Spaceman (not Benny)>Johnny Thunder>Knight's Kingdom rep>Bionicle rep
>>9376272Ninjago = MarioLego Movie = PokemonBionicle = Fire EmblemNexo Knights = MetroidChima = Star FoxKnights Kingdom = CastlevaniaSpace = F-ZeroHero Factory = EarthboundRockraiders/Aquaraiders/Other = Miscelaneous
>>9376272Transparant Orange Chainsaw guy from Ice Planet as the meme pick
>>9376287>Bionicle = Fire EmblemAn excessive bunch of literal whos taking slots away from deserved picks that all play the same? Way too accurate.
>>9376161That does look better, but for some reason the olive green grills near the front bother me, I feel like there should either be a color contrast behind the grill, or have the grills be a different color, like having the grills black, or some 1x1 silver / grey studs behind them, idk. Just off putting as one of the only visible olive studs, there's gotta be a better option? I really like the red and yellow color contrasts though, and the front looks great. Only other gripe is the printed windows but eh, what can you do I guess.
>>9376172But LEGO was always gender neutral. Are they doing away with Friends sets? I doubt it. Even the color yellow color was picked because it was gender neutral. At max I see they changing Friends boxes color and market it for both male and female. I think that VP of design is changing things around there. But I don't think he'll make much changes. If it doesn't convert in numbers ($) they'll revert anything they've done.Personally I only think that they are going to use yellow for all boxes and they'll keep the figures/sets/themes exactly as they are. It really could improve the sales.I remember the Paradisa set, which I liked a lot, but it really was a set for girls because the way it was sold. Gendered sets like these could, in fact, lower the sales.
>>9376272The spaceman with all their colors.>>9376294lol
I made a 70s inspired F1 car. I tried to make it look as funky as possible to capture the design cues of the era. What do you guys think of it?
>>9376340Here is another angle of this thing
>>9376340>>9376350I like it a lot, definitely giving me vibes of a 70s F1 car with the air intake and general stubbiness. If only it was black with 'John Player' on the side, it'd be perfect!
>>9376272Assuming the roster is Melee sized (25 characters total)>Pepper Roni>The Brickster>Chase McCain>Classic Space astronaut (Alt colors are just red/black/blue/white/yellow/green/pink versions)>Blacktron Astronaut (Utilizing stuff from both versions of Blacktron)>Commander Cold>Majisto >Vladek>Clay Moorington >Axl>Captain Redbeard>Aquashark>Johnny Thunder>Jet (Rock Raiders)>Rocket Racer>Ogel>Tahu (Toa Mata)>Takanuva>Meca-One>Kai>Zane>Lloyd>Emmet>Toxikita>Monkie Kid
>>9376307The grills are a compromise since 1x2 tiles don't exist in olive yet. Once they become a thing I'll replace the grills. They're honestly my best option in the color since the smallest square tile is 1x3.
Fabric clothing on minifigs: yes/no? I don't mind capes, but I hate skirts. They never settle on the figs well and stick out.
>>9376315I'm hoping that they just improve city line. Some of the best ideas for sets are exclusive to friends. Why only have a girls stables or a girls Waterpark when they would be great in a normal city line?
>>9376389Looks kinda cool for display on some figures but it's complete shit for play/posing.
>>9376393Exactly!The Friends line is pretty good, it's just like Paradisa. The Paradisa sets had a lot of pink bricks, umbrellas, pastel bricks, a lot of female minifigs, Dolphin, cats, poneys... but it was marketed as a "girl" set. Had it been marked as a common city set I'm sure people would have bought it more. Specially for animais/pastel pieces. If they rebrand the Friends sets a little bit, like the logo and box color I'm pretty sure it would sell better for the male audience, or maybe bring some Friends themes to LEGO City line.
>>9376360>3 Ninjago repsTrying to make it the fire emblem of the roster I see
>>9376408I think the whole Friends "core" is a turn-off for most people that aren't little girls. Way too many brightly coloured garish pieces that look awful placed next to anything else that isn't Friends.Extremely heavy reliance on stickers.Minidolls. And even if you just swap out the minidolls for minifigs, all the sets are scaled the wrong way.For me to like Friends, it'd basically have to be a whole different theme.
>>9376416Ninjago has been Lego's biggest non-licensed theme for like the last decade or so, other than City and Friends. Ninjago is closer to the Pokemon equivalent of Lego themes in that it's newer than its contemporaries (Space, Castle, etc) but just not if not more popular in the eyes of the general public. If I really wanted to make Ninjago the FE equivalent you'd see all 5 Ninjas+Nya+Master Wu+Garmadon on that list.
>>9376419Yeah, but bringing some "friends styled sets" to LEGO City would be a good idea I think. There are colorful things in the world too. I'd like to see this pet shop adapted to LEGO City, for example. But I think you are right about the Friends sets themselves, they'd need too much stuff to make it gender neutral, at this point they should come up with a new theme. The Friends set is considered licensed, so there are investors there, I don't think they'll be able to change stuff on it very easily. I think they'll aim at the City line.
>>9376315>Paradisa set, but it really was a set for girls because the way it was soldI don't know what the advertising was for it but I always thought they were sets about being rich as fuck living in the tropics and surrounded by babes.
This mario set has been one of the funnest ive built in a while
>Lego spends decades trying and failing to capture the girls market >Lego spends a billion dollars researching what little girls like >SURPRISE! Girls and boys have totally different styles of play >Lego capitalizes on their billion dollars of research and launches the minidoll lines>The minidoll lines are money printers >woke culture takes hold >Lego throws out all the progress they've made and pretends boys and girls are the same HONK
>>9376464well, I mean, look at these boxes. They went crazy with pink and romantic lifestyle. Nothing wrong with that, I liked them very much, but maybe a yellow box would have helped.
>>9376172>survey-shows-impact-on-children-stereotypesBet my left kidney that so called """""study""""" first came with the conclusion and then cherry picked data/used heavy mental gymnastics to agre with the conclusion.
>>9376484They're not gonna do that. Woke ideology is only good when it's profitable, the second it stops being that, TLG are gonna forget all about it and fire their faggot head designer for being talentless.
>>9376484I don't think they'll mess with Friends line. Elves was cancelled so it probably wasn't selling that well. Is there anything more for "girls"? I think that they'll make the City sets with some colorful pieces and stuff. WHich is okay for me.
>>9376272I hope it will be moddable so that we can add in meme characters such as the gold seeking bear or wojtus.
>>9376493If it wasn't for the pink heart text bubble and the baby carrier, I would think it's that kind of Miami aesthetic that GTA Vice City employed a lot.
>>9376530How's his mom rape case going?
My son wanted a Lego Friends set and I just told him that those sets are for girls not boys. Don't encourage the faggotry lego are pushing
>>9376126There seems to be conflicting information about the Wolverine mech sethttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU-7Nkqf41ohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhuj4nPfpAkDoes anyone know which information is actually verifiable?
>>9376543friends buildings are superior to cityif lego was to take that aspect of friends and make it less girly, which would be in line with their goals, I would support that
>>9376543>not allowing your son to get a klocki waifu haremIf he wasn't a fag before, he is now.And it's all your fault.
>>9376505>Woke ideology is only good when it's profitable
>>9376541last I heard he wants Biden to give him a full pardon lmao.
>>9376551I remember when I was five or six and my mom took me to a garage sale. I saw a naked Barbie doll and asked her to buy it for me. She panicked and hustled me out of there because she thought it would make me gay. I just wanted a pretty lady for my He-Man guys.
>>9376563and now you're gay. all your moms fault too.
Fuck LEGO make those LOZ sets already. Even the Mario 64 fags got their set already.
>>9376571careful what you ask forthe mario block sucks
>>9376562I just Googled him for updates apparently he wrote a letter from jail where he now claims to be Jesus lol
>>9376571>Fuck LEGO make those LOZ sets already. Even the Mario 64 fags got their set already.Congrats! You are getting an entire wave of Zelda sets!MONKEY'S PAW: They are all microscale with no printed elements.
>>9376574Eh the 64 block is ok and the other sets you can get at ridiculous discounts but I'm not a Mario fag.>>9376584>MONKEY'S PAW: They are all microscale with no printed elements.NOOOOOOOOOO
>>9376582yeah the biden pardon request is in that letter. I get the feeling it'll end with him getting some jail time (possibly throw into a mental ward instead) and last I heard Barb is basically a walking skeleton who has begun to grown facial hair and she's alone in their house, so she will end up dying (if she isn't already dead) and then probably eaten by the dog and cats, if they don't go before she does. wild shit anon.
>>9376571what would the perfect full lineup of lego LOZ sets? >1-2 large 'premium' sets>1-3 medium sets>1-2 small smaller setswhat game would it be based on? what locations would you want to see? realistically I feel it goes one of 2 ways; either nostalgia bait and make it oot or mm and it be one or two large sets that are 18+, or they do a larger lineup like above and it'll be botw themed. I feel like it'll end up being the ? block all over again where we're gonna get something shit like >>9376584 said
>>9376604If they did a legit Zelda theme I would be tempted to buy the whole line. My wife would even be on board
>>9376559>price worth payingDid the CEO say that before or after their stocks tanked??
>>9376604Don't care, just give me a unique molded Midna figure so I can cum on it.
Bro's... i'm struggling. i've realized im a bit of a dust collector. Need advice on how to truly experience lego sets beyond building, posing, and displaying.
>>9376609Grind your klocki to dust.Snort it.
>>9376609If doing that makes you happy, you don't have to change that just to please autists on here.
>>9376604It would all be OOT, MM and BotW shit.
>>9376609it's okay to be a dust collector. don't let a bunch of nostalgiafaggots on /lg/ who bought the poop pirate bay tell you how to collect, do it however you want.
>>9376609Become a MOCchad and stop relying on Lego to tell you what to build, be it dust collectors or playsets.
>>9376604>>9376614botw is highly likely imo. especially if they can time it to release around botw2.
>>9376530Prison is treating him well
>>9376609Being a dust collector isn’t bad, if you even it out with some Mocs
Got some more baseplates, trying to expand my layout, what else could i add, I’m gonna rebuild the guillotine I built while ago and maybe a pillory
>>9376689so much spaceI'm jealousis it sagging in the middle though or is that just lens distortionall the foliage in the corner and the red tower add a lot, and I like the little market area that is appearing there
>>9376695Yeah it’s a lot of space to fill It does sag, old shitty tableThe trees are my favorite part, gonna add more market stands too
>crucial order of parts is going to be here two weeks later than the rest
You are losers. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. YOU!
>9376738double for you buddy
>go on b'n'p to see if they have any parts I need for my mocs>sold out>sold out>sold out>sold outThey aren't even rare parts, like what the fuck
>>9376745I just got my bricks and pieces order of koi fish printed tiles, lions, glasses with beer and black falcon knights. Receiving bnp orders are the most glorious of all orders. Not a piece I didn't want.
>>9376745mass amounts of lego stock is stuck on container ships off the coasts of texas and california. nobody wants to work those shitty jobs for the shitty pay so it's all just sitting there waiting to be unloaded.
>>9376793pretty crazy how stubborn and greedy the people in charge of wages are rather shut everything down than pay their workers
>>9376604BotW's Divine Beasts seem like they'd be a natural fit for Lego sets, since they're already pretty stylised toward blocky/geometric base shapes and come with built-in ideas for play features.
finally got 75290 set... what am i in for.
>>9376161Is that my boi Percy
>>9376751please suck my cock
>>9376271He is cute. Why do people hate him?
>>9376271yes we dohis reviews are still unmatched
>>9376846USE YO HAENDZ!No Harry Potter because I dont support Jk Rowling*Displays lgbt rainbow set*If you dont think female knights are realistic than you shouldnt want dragons eitherBtw it's a dragon fuck whoever corrects me saying it's a wyvern
>>9376860and even with those autistic nitpicks they are still the best
>>9376863Go away Jang, just retire already. Tie will dethrone you soon anyway.
>>9376880I wish that was true but tie is literally too stupid to actually criticizelike pretty much every other (English language) reviewer he just makes surface level observations
>>9376811>what am i in for.$350 worth of tan and gray blocks, and two handfuls of minifigs. it doesn't look good to display when closed, it should've been open back or open from the front and it would've been easier to stage a scene for display, or for somebody to play with. you'll likely have missing pieces, two people I know have bought this and had several missing, and the reviews online reflect that as well. the size and shape also make it difficult to display anywhere, put it too high on a shelf and you can't see anything, too low and unfortunately you can see the ugly thing, and it's just a tan box basically. displaying it open where you can actually see the interesting parts, just looks weird and again the size and shape factor in to making it display weirdly. overall very disappointing, I bought it near launch specifically to sell and I made $100 off of a SW/disney couple from fb market, they pulled up and their car had disney annual pass holder stickers with their names printed on them (we live 10+ hours away from disney) along with probably 2 dozen disney/sw/marvel stickers. the guy seemed kinda nervous or intimidated by me or something bc he was just kinda sketch the entire time, one thing he said really stuck with me because I had a good laugh on the drive home w my wife, he asked me '...and you're sure this is OFFICIAL lego from the actual lego store?' while he's looking at the box in my trunk. shit was too funny. the girl didn't say a word the entire time and just stood behind the guy, but then after they got it loaded into their car she actually squeed and jumped up and down, and the guy jumped with her, it had us laughing our asses off in our car.
>>9376860You forgot the recent "i want to find a way to polish these clear pieces but dont you dare leave any suggestions I'll figure it out myself"
>>9376571Would buy in a heartbeat
>>9376905he said he had settled on some methods which is why he wasn't interested in the comments being suggestions
>>9376820No but since you brought him up I'll post thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDQW02TVUAI
>>9376940okay shangobunmi shill
>>9376860The other Jang stuff I can handwave but the not covering Potter content due to virtue-signaling about JKR bullshit is peak pathetic. I built all 4 of the 2021 Hogwarts chunks the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the modular dollhouse vibe of it and didn't think about Twitter cringe the entire time. Death of the author reigns supreme. >>9376223Grabbed 3 so far (not at full price). Might grab one more, we'll see. A squad of Mortartroopers is a fun thing to have and the troop carrier itself has deeper roots than most Star Wars vehicles thanks to the ancient days of Kenner throwing shit at the wall to make money. S2 Greef Carga isn't the worst figure to have a few extras of, Carl Weathers is based and it's very unusual to have an aged Black faceprint with visible white beard, the vast majority have been young and clean-shaven.
>>9376990Is there another part? This is great
>>9377088Is there a source in that being the reason for not doing hp setsLast I heard he just wasn't a fan
>>9376287Nick Bluetooth = Soma
I like stickers. They add a level of precision and challenge to LEGO building
>>9377195I actually do enjoy stickers to an extent. They allow for parts to be reused, especially from shitty licensed sets
>>9377195Only time I hate them is when the slap the thing BETWEEN bricks and plates.
I looked at that technic set and wanted to try making TT moc inspired by it. Apparently if I'm lucky I can part it out for under 20 USD without shipping. How'd I do?
Most fun part about the cantina is making aliens to populate it. Here are some of my favorites so far. Tempted to go full autist and give them all names/backstories
>>9376162>>9376167Add me and that makes three. why is this the case?
DC licensed stuff kind of sucks these days, but this is an awesome set.
>>9376793BnP are packed and shipped from Denmark, nice try tough
>>9377321nta, but the issue isn't exclusive to the US. supply chains have been interrupted in almost every facet.
I love how this stores away so smoothly
>>9377326Fucking Australians, worse than sigfags
>>9376563My younger sister used to take my action men and marry them to her barbies. I used to play out rescue ops where other action men when to beat up women and save their bros.
>>9377327Mario is an aussie too
>>9377237Love the brain slug guy
>>9376860The big black boots thing from the winter village house sorta caught me off guard Can't believe that one was left out of this list, just watch the review in full
>>9377364lmao I unironically love Jangs weird autism
>>9376860Jang is just tired of his comments. People there are SO stupid.
>>9377434>Never going to happen
>>9377434The fuck is this? Lovecraft?
>>9376172They'll never get rid of Friends because it makes them a ton of money. The company is still run by businessmen at the end of the day. They'll probably just put more girls playing with the System sets in promo photos (and boys with Friends) and pretend everything is gender neutral.
>>9377446They already mentioned just adding more male minidolls and female minifigures
>>9376172>>9376315really the friend sets and the dumb dolls that came from it were always the only thing that represented gender stereotypes for mewhen we were kids my big sister and I played a bunch of stuff together.I really don't know what gender bias they are talking about that they plan to remove, the only thing that now seperates genders in lego is them making those ugly dolls for the girl.>>9376340>>9376350This looks absolutely fantastic!
I told you, bro. I told you about committing genocide against the minidolls and letting minifigures take over.
>>9377237what parts did you use to create helmet of the top in top left? amazing look
why hasn't lego made a tie interceptor or tie bomber in like 15 years
are we getting anything during this x2 vip points weekend bros?
>>9376793>nobody wants to work those shitty jobs for the shitty payDock operations are halted under covid """mitigation""" and there's tons of truckers sitting around the ports waiting for goods to take to their destination. And there's apparently waiting lists for dock worker jobs since they're so lucrative in their necessity. The other part of it: none of the US ports are owned by US entities.
>>9377497They are doing the death star trench run but its going to be microscale.
>>9377501Got the Batman Tumbler, Rocket Racer flywheel bike and some BnP stuff like a ramp so RR actually has something to do stunts with.

LEGO lore #8 M:TronM:Tron (incorrectly called M-Tron by many on 4chan /lg) is a subtheme of the LEGO Space theme and started in 1990 and lasted until 1993.The M:Tron were depicted and described as a1. Rescue & repair faction in all other markets2. Mining faction in United States marketThere vehicles are clearly rescue vehicles however they do carry around crates filled with a trans green element that represents some power source or mineral that M:tron may or may not be collecting or mining if you willThey had 8 sets nine if you collect the super model set, a set made from 3 others.M:Tron was also the last LEGO Space theme to have the LEGOLAND banner on the set boxes.EVERY LEGO SPACE M:TRON SET -The Complete Collection - Classic 1990 Theme!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFNM_F-wzRo [Embed]
oh shit they're making a countach
>>9377632Oh fuck. I never thought they'd get the Lotus license. Not really interested at all in the Evija, but this hopefully means they'll make a Lotus F1 car eventually.
>>9377632Year 8 of waiting for Alfa Romeo license.
>>9377314>DC licensed stuff kind of sucks these daysIn that it barely fucking exists, yesThey'd rather make Eternals sets than some cool shit for Shazam
>>9377709Marvel stuff sells better because of the MCU, simple as
>>9376614As long as there's no Toon Link garbage I'm happy.
>>9377713Sure, but fucking Eternals? Might as well make Inhumans sets at that point, or Namor.
>>9377718Well, there's the Eternals movie coming out in like december or whatever. Dunno how well the sets are currently selling, but TLG are probably banking on that.
>>9377718The sets are cool and i dont care about movie. Love deviant builds
>>9377364Why did he absolutely lose his shit and pause the review over that? It was pretty confusing
>>9377718the giant red mech is cool and the deviants are one of the best brick-built creatures we've ever hadi don't have much interest in the movie but the sets are great
>>9377593Social media really gave a lot of people a terminal case of overblown ego and narcissism.

>>9377827>hey who in America is really into shoes?>alright slap them on the shoe
>>9377827>Made with child labour
>>9377478I wonder if LEGO is doing these things to protect themselves to be cancelled?
>>9376131Maybe she's just trying it as a hobby?
>>9376340>>9376350It's got soul anon.
>>9377844At least they'll be able to say they're playing with legos at work.

So I've got a bunch of sets gathering dust in the closet with no time to build them. I should probably sell a few, but some of them are secondhand and I can't say for sure if they're 100% complete. Sadly, I don't have time to build them, which is why I'm selling in the first place. What do I do? Hold off until I can build and inventory precisely what's missing, or BrickLink missing pieces to sell as complete? List on eBay or BST as "99% complete" and take the markdown (no idea how big a markdown we're talking about)? Count pieces and hope it's right? Thanks for any help!
So give it to me straight, boys, what did TLG mean by this?

Objectively it would be hard to prove that the type of music you call 'quality music' has any superior value compared to Justin Bieber, especially since what you call quality music could be wildly different for someone else who is also convinced about the superiority of his taste. And then when we get to lego it's even more retarded to even try demonstrating that any theme has more value than others.
>>9378404>>9378466What do you buy?
>>9378475Just find the inventory and count the pieces? It should'n take more than 5 minutes. Do 1 a day.
>>9378475Inventory them according to the BL inventory. Find the set, look at the parts/inventory, and at the bottom of the page you can click the inventory with checkboxes. Then, go down the line and checkmark all the pieces according to the inventory. It is easiest to sort by part category. This will sort all bricks, plates, w/e in alphabetical order by part type so they are grouped together no matter what color they are (this option should be default). Sets that are inventoried and complete with instructions can sell for a small premium. Sets that are incomplete can sell between 10-30% less and way fewer people want them. Also don't ship a set built, that is not what people want.

>>9379532If you want oneWhy not?
>>9379556>Maybe it's because I'm a jew when it comes to buying sets and getting what I'm paying for. Why? Is there some kind of MOC challenge that demands a price limit? >>9381043That just reminded me what I was gonna post earlier that I forgot.>get burnt out on watching jang after having watched his stuff on a playlist in the background while I'm doing other stuff>don't watch him for a few months>everyone on /lg/ saying he's sounding depressed and petty and shit>watch the santa's visit review>he's actually more in-depth and precise, while keeping the old comfiness of his reviews, and being funny at the same timenever trusting you guys' opinions ever again
how often does lego do double vip? when was the last one before this?
>>9381132Once every two or three months. Sometimes they do 4x but I can't even tell you the last time
>Doesn't throw himself in front of the camera, focus is just on whatever the video's topic is>Doesn't record his voice, just relies on straight to the point text over the video instead of mumbling over what he's talking about>Reviews are straight to the point and are over in under 5 minutes>Sticks to his particular niche in the Lego theme pie, doesn't review sets just for the sake of reviewing them>More focused on MOC showcasing, instruction videos, and building techniques than simply reviews you can read about on literally any other Lego siteWhy haven't you taken the BritishBricks pill yet /lg/?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh7pHYzBGSQDo you anons have any used lego stores near you? Do you go to them? why or why not?
>>9381283>"Visiting the LARGEST and BEST used/rare LEGO store in the US! >>9381318he seems pretty aut so idk maybe he felt weird about filming in the store. he's obviously comfortable talking to his camera in his hoard room so that part just kinda went long. honestly I just skipped through the rest of it when he started talking about bonk shit.
>>9381283There's a brick and minifigs near me. It was worth checking out once to see their retired selection but from then on I don't see a point
>>9381277It’s only train shit, the videos are nice though,
>>9381323I went to one a while back but after getting ripped off selling there before I was experienced with bricklink I don't care to return
>>9379663It's almost like boys and girls have different preferences when it comes to toys. Do they seriously believe that adding more female minifigures to a theme will magically attract girls who aren't already interested? Or what, the parents will look at the box and think, "Well, that little plastic person has eyelashes and some lines on its waist, so I guess that means I can buy it for my daughter."
>>9381323the one near me is pretty good. their stock changes basically daily so I check by maybe 2 or 3 times a week and they always have new shit. they've told me that some sets will go onto the floor and be gone within an hour. The people who work there kinda know me now and I honestly hate it because they want to talk to me but I just wanna look at shit and go unnoticed, but I have to sit and make small talk with these autists instead. I got my brick bank there last year for $175 which was a fucking absolute steal.
>>9381318Yeah it was all just commentary and could have done with just narration or a face cam in the corner, huge blunder. I was more interested in the store.
>>9381327>It’s only train shitAnd?
>jazz quartet statue shitsure to be a big seller>more tv licensed shitkill me
>>9381533Oh bruh, don't look at IDEAS voting.
LOLliterally everything rejected except for the jazz quartet, the office, and MAYBE snow white
>>9381565Good, let the consooming go wild.
>>9381565i'm getting tired of these random televison show sets. Big Bang Theory, Friends, Seinfeld, the Office, fucking Queer Eye, really?i guess it's a small fraction of sets and barely affects me but i would love some more Non-Batman DC sets before i die
>>9381595this entire concept just starts to feels pointless now... I guess the office set can be actually also a good play set, but WILL it cost the price of a playset, like if it would be a lego city set?
>>9381565>Black history set for woke points>Yet another sitcom setI'm fucking tired of this shit, I used to be hyped for reviews, but now it's clear there's bias so only certain types of sets can get through.
>>9381602with this amount of minifigs it will cost at least 50% more than the friends apartments
>>9381565Snow White was soft-canceled several years ago because of waycism. 0% chance Lego will approve that set.
>>9381565>Question mark over Snow Whitepfft. No way Disney is going to okay snow white supremacy despite the reverse harem in current year.
>>9381607No problem, just change it to Soot Black and the seven lil' homies.
>>9381612Wasn't that an animated porn movie from waaaay back?
>>9381565>Animal crossingNot sure how to feel about that, but we might have gotten some cute animal minifigs
>>9381565I wasn't huge fan of the Asterix busts, but I'd kill for proper minifig scaled Asterix stuff
>>9381565Someone make a crappy Fresh Prince submission and make free money. It's both black and sitcom so it'll get made for sure
>>9381650Normies are desperate for validation from LEGO, same reason they all act like simps on Twitter.
>>9381595Best part is that Queer Eye wasn't an Ideas submission but something the faggot head designer came up with.>Let's show how woke we are by making a set about the most stereotypical gay show!

>>9381616>Wasn't that an animated porn movie from waaaay back? Are you thinking of Coal Black
>>9381352apparently even chimps show those differences, female chimps prefer dolls, male chips prefer cars
>>9381668>Animal CorssingReminds of the one time I saw Ninjago bootleg called Ninjagh.
>>9381565>another Portal set At this point, you'd think Lego would listen to the fans and figure there's enough demand to make one set. There's at least one every review period now it seems.
>>9381627Literally just Fabuland
>>9381565Where's our zelda lego already?! Reeee
>>9381671Looks familiar, how pornographic was it? Because the one I watched was a 'hidden' VHS tape we found in the living room.>>9381686>NinjaghMore like NinjAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.>>9381755pic related
>>9381565Vote is as rigged as a Democrat primary .
>>9381565>airship rejectedWhy are TLG such faggots??
>>9381565Many of the rejections are entirely predictable: redundant with existing themes/lines, trying to resurrect retired themes, questionable worth of negotiating a license for a single Ideas set.I suspect any finalised version of the Office set is barely going to resemble the Ideas submission; the build itself looks less interesting and detailed than the environments for similar Ideas sets (Friends/Seinfeld/BBT) and comes aross as a somewhat underdesigned display area for an improbably large glut of minifigures.
>>9381650This. I don't fucking get it. What's the point of even calling it Ideas anymore when the only sets that get through don't have a single original IDEA?
>>9381716fishing boat and skater car are extra comfy, the rest are trash tier
>>9381847You should see the absolute disaster that is World Builder, only the biggest faggots go nuts volunteering for it while LEGO reaps the profits.
So whats gonna make it next?
>>9381745Bring back FabulandThey’ll sell tons of sets thanks to furries
>>9381865How about we don't ruin Fabuland by introducing it to today's toxicity?
>>9381864The women set, without a doubtThe woke points are too good to pass up, and Lego’s recently been talking about becoming more feminist and whatnot
>>9381870>toxicityNever use this overused meme word againAnd what do you mean, anyway? How would it be ruined? You think it’ll get politicized somehow, or the sets will be bad quality, or what?
>>9381864Women in Computing and MAAAAYBE A Frame CabinNo chance for >modulars>imperial fort because muh imperialism
>>9381565Nail in the coffin for Among Us and Fall Guys, thank christ. Do retards not think about how irrelevant they would have been by the time they hit shelves?
>>9381883>Do retards not think about how irrelevant they would have been by the time they hit shelves?
>>9381891That's different because the movie about the irrelevant game was >relevant
>>9381864One of: Women of Computing and Outer Solar System Explorers (the latter in a cut-down form if it reaches the production stage)Aircraft Engine WorkshopFloating IslandAs much as I like both the Imperial Island Fort and the Lifeguard's Shack and think they'd make neat sets, they feel too much like they're trying to establish Ideas sub-themes by following on from Barracuda Bay and the Old Fishing Store respectively, and there are enough sub-themes within Ideas that I don't think TLG are going to start another. Imperial Island Fort especially seems like wishful thinking that TLG will somehow do an unofficial relaunch of the classic Pirates theme within Ideas. The medieval entires and the wannabe modular buildings are most likely going nowhere.
>>9381864Women of Computing, 100%Not even a /pol/fag but that's easy money and virtue signalling for extremely little effort
>>9381864woman of computing
>>9381883I bet Among Us will always be relevant, sadly, because retarded zoomers will never stop spamming its memes everywhere
>>9381565The only ones that I'm ever interested in are the nonlicenced buildings, and they never get approved.
>>9381864>Women of computing>(Maybe) the nannyConsidering the recent review, the only thing that gets through is wokeshit or sitcomshit.
>>9381879Fuck you and the memes that live rent-free in your head. I'm not going to limit my vocabulary just because one word triggers you harder than the average tumblr tranny. And you cunts sexualize everything, no one needs to see Fabuland porn.
Remember what they stole from you.
>The plot twist of Chima is that it's just a tiny part of a bigger realm that also includes Fabuland>VIDIYO animal figures are descendants of Fabuland citizensProof me wrong.
>>9381896The sets weren't released until after the movie was out of theaters

>>9381565I hate TLG so much it's unreal
>>9381961And at the end of Chima there was a reveal that their one realm was bigger than they first knew. Bet there's a peaceful town somewhere with less savage inhabitants. Also>Relying on Ninjago lore which gets rewritten as the lazy writers see fit
Has there been any word on the Home Alone set? That one has been in Limbo for a while. I was going to get it for parts, if the end product was like the original pictures.
>>9382024Well the sticker sheet for it has been leaked and I'd imagine they're saving it for November/December.

>>9382086You're implying TLG learn from their mistakes
>>9382089I am not, of course they will pick it to virtue signal, I am just correcting the assumption that it's easy money.

>>9382122That one has literally 0 chance, considering its designed to go under a modular.
>>9382159What gets me is the "MOC". I fucking hate brickvault and sites like it
>>9382160How many times was the Office denied before finally being accepted this wave?
I need some recommendation for improving this ship. It will probably be called the Deserter. The idea came to me because i found some old pirate sail and i have some ruined bluecoat torsos. Also when i saw the ideas sailboat i wanted to turn it into a pirate ship. I dont know hot to flex the pieces in studio so imagine they are flexed. also i think ill build the mast in person so i can work off of the size of the sail.
>>9382208this is the sail that i found
how the fuck do I avoid the "plain grey wall" syndrome when making castles and towers? I keep trying to copy the Creator Expert buildings in terms of details but no matter what I try it always looks either really dull or too ornamental. I want to to look like a model of a real place but not too detailed
>>9382305that looks good
>>9382356Terrific use of those dual-molded rock pieces
>>9382305This doesn't look evil honestly. It looks like a good guy's tower that was color-swapped to be more evil, but it still looks too clean and noble.

>>9382618fucking chill dude, holy shit
I got paid today and pulled the trigger on corner garage. it was in stock and finally got marked for retirement so it felt like the right time. I figured even though I don't love it, I'd kick myself in the ass if I didn't get it and want it in like 3 years and it's 2-3x the price. Has anybody done the pub alt build? I think I like that more but I'm still torn.
>>9382795I'm in the same boat but I haven't got it. Still trying to decide if I should or not.
Here's the town I'm working on building.
>>9382874I built that car and camper on the left the other day. I thought it was a fun lil build. I was going to go with the larger RV b model bc it had enough beds for three people, but I decided against it. so my headcanon is that they're engaging in some weird incestual relationship and they all sleep in the same bed idk.
>>9382813if you collect modulars then I'd say get it, because like I said I'd rather just buy it now and do an alt build/stick it away on the backlog shelf, instead of deciding I want to buy it at some point down the line and having to pay ~2x the price.
>>9381864Women in Computing and the Working Golf Course.Except the Golf Course won't actually work, it will just be a static display.
>>9382907Yeah, maybe I should just get it even if it's just for an alt
>>9382907I would prefer it if there was a nice GWP going on right now and not just 2x points...
>>9383021I agree, I was going to grab it when the sailboat was going but by the time I went to buy it, the garage was sold out. It was sold out for a little while here until recently, and I feel like it's possible this is the last restock for it on the lego website. I assume it's going to be available for purchase through either december or january then retired, so another 2 and a half months, if that is true then I can't imagine them restocking if it sells out between now and then.
>>9381938I know, they landed at 70% off, shit was so cash.
A creation I made a few months ago.
>>9382168>paint them?nigga what?
>>9382888I picked up 3 of them cheap a while ago from Facebook. I built the car and the lighthouse and one was still sealed, which I'll sell. I like to imagine the family is Johnny Thunder and Pippin Reed years after retiring from adventuring.
>>9383281Is this the new Stockfish?
>>9382561They had gay sex instead.

>>9381682Oh my goddess, the patriarchy is even brainwashing animals!

>>9384076>>9384070>>9384030Thanks, m8. Helpful!Still, is it a good set or not? Anyone built it?It seems repetitive but that's not always a bad thing.
>>9384397>big, needs lots of space to display>repetitive build, can get boring if you dont autopilot>looks boring, they should have made it like it was in its days of gloryits expensive but if you have the cash, like how it looks and have the space, go for it. i think there are better sets to use your money on that have much more interesting builds though for a fraction of the cost
>>9384397the build is boring, and it's generally uninteresting to look at. Do you like the colosseum a lot? if so buy it.
>>9384405>>9384415Which are better ones in your opinions?
>>9384451creator expert is a great line, you can get 2 different modular buildings and still spend less moneyideas has some nice sets, i especially like the saturn v and barracuda bayunironically shitcom sets if you throw the licenced figs out and use the set as a backdrop for your own figures if youre into thatreally it depends on what youre into, there are also licences themes like star wars and superheroes, despite what /lg/ will tell you youre allowed to enjoy sets based on existing franchises you enjoyif you dont want huge sets creator is extremely based for smaller fun sets too
>>9384478You could buy like a whole wave of NInjago.
