>>9303356Super Treasure Hunt of the year? For me it's the Datsun 510.
>>9303500300zx, because it's the only STH I ever got myself.
>>9303500I dont get the hype, but Hot Wheels is making a mint off this casting.
>>9303500>sth>select car with no detailed front, not even chrome or black grilleNissan 300 at least has painted headlights.
>>9303379Hmm? These are 2x "16 Angels" and "Slikt Back"
>>9303379Club Muscle and maybe Furiosity(seems to have a vee-ayte)
>>9304217Angel is inspired by Jag as stated by the designed so no. The other car looks like standard 60s Buick Riviera but snoooze'd. I'm not sure about it.>>9304270>Club Muscle Do you mean this one? Already listed it 3rd in classic list. The full name is CCM - Country Club MuscleFuriosity IMO not really, honesly looks more like something inspired by Infiniti G35 than muscles. If I remember right these models also had V6 or V8 engines but too far from a muscle car but you can try to prove me wrong.
>>9304336>Already listed it 3rd Yea, I didn't notice. As for Furiosity, wiki doesn't show any extra info.As a kid I always treated it as a stand in for Mustangs because I didn't have any actual Mustang models, so I am extremely biased in it being a big bulky muscle car, but the bulkiness is a result of it being tooned, so it could be a JDM
>>9304365Yeah I know there's no info about it but honestly it looks like tooned' G35 or something with rounded vertical headlights. Also the fact it came in 2004 which was peak of "JDM tuner NFS/FnF" culture boom. I get you being biased, but I think we can agree on this one, right?
>>9304402Can someone make a similar list but for fictional tuners? Super Tsunami used to be one of my fav cars. It was my stand in for Toyota Supra.
>>9303500The FD RX-7 for me. I think that was this year right?
>>9303379I really love Muscle Speeder, it's kind of what got me back into diecast. Shame, I think there's only one shared deco between it and Project Speeder.
>>9304669What a beauty. Too bad each and every local store skipped cases with this car.
>>9305441You can still find the non super i guess.
>>9304601at least that's what matchboxfandomcom seems to saybecause the production of the current castings ends this year
Never owned a Preying Menace, before, but I had to get this one to go along with my Futurismo.
Is Tomica stuff pretty good? I want to build a small collection of 1/64 stuff. Mostly then and now week shit like Supras, Civics, Sylvias, and they seem like a better option than Hot Wheels or Matchbox, from what I've seen.
>>9306312Nice! I love finding good car decos that go well with each other.
>>9306964>Is Tomica stuff pretty good?top notch
>>9306964I picked up the Stratos and Beetle from their "Premium" line, and they're pretty great. Excellent paint and detailing, and it feels like there's independently-sprung suspension for each wheel.
>>9307319Needs a Peterbilt cab over and police Datsun.
>>9303379Isn't Nitro Doorslammer a dragster?
>>9308997Even if so, it still looks like 2050 cyber/future take on classic Camaro.
Found a nice stash of Muscle Machines imports at the flea market yesterday.
/tfg/ here. I don't collect too much die cast and it's mostly tv/movie/vidya related but this caught my eye and some of my money. Is this new? Rare? I found a picture in different colors.
My weekend flea always has one or 2 guys that show up with this stuff.>>9310321Thats a great haul. How much did you pay?
>>930947It kinda looks like this if ya stretched it.
>>9310754>Trunk full of fire.jpg
>>9310754$50 for the MMs. Pretty much eBay prices minus the shipping. Still, I'm happy with them. They are tough to find in person.>>9310543I don't think any of those truck sets are rare. There will probably be another color scheme at some point if there isn't one already. But these sets are not super popular with collectors.
>>9306964Some were hit and miss, but when they did good it's fucking impressive. Tomica's premium Devil z and celica st165 gtfour is still my top favorite 1/64 diecast of all time
>>9310754How much did you pay for that Torino, if you don't mind? It always seems to go for stupid money on ebay.
>>9310543Someone said they use to have a gun? That’s robot dude car thing.
>>9312841the one with Haul-tinator has a gun>I don't think any of those truck sets are rare. >There will probably be another color scheme >at some point if there isn't one already. But >these sets are not super popular with >collectors.Haultinator is on E-bay for more than i paid for it
>>9313087That's Ebay logic, I've seen common 1 dollar cars going for that much and they aren't even that valuable. It's either scalpers, speculators, or it's some kids online memeing about it. (Yes that's real, I've met them, and they've gotten butthurt at me for pointing out how stupid and harmful that is)
>>9311778Got it in a bundle trade for a Candy Striper
>>9313362>some kids online memeing about it.Huh? What do you mean?
>>9313986I can't tell if you're larping or not, but if you aren't fine I'll explain. So given this is a hobby you can get into as a kid, there are still kid collectors. I was talking to some at one point online and I brought up how stupid it is for a car like Muscle Bound to be like 200 dollars on Ebay (Yes I've seen 2 listings go for that much once) and they got defensive in the form of, "Nah bruh it's just a meme. It's funny." Which is fucking retarded, because like alot of the shitposters here, they hate scalping too, yet whether they know it or not are actively helping it get worse.Me trying to point this out causes them to get all uppity and now I know whenever I see something go for too fucking much on Ebay in the diecast category it's most likely some shitwad kid thinking it's funny they get to, "Troll the scalpers" or some shit.
>>9303356Which one should I pick, lads?
>>9315015The monster truck I guess.
I've accumulated all the good stuff from my local Krogerscan I actually play with Mini-GTs? I bought an Aventador SVJ and I'm afraid I'd snap the wing mirrors and spoiler of it off>>9306964I'm so-so on their regular line but their premium line is quite nice in terms of mold and accuracy. hate the wheels since they're ridged plastic but that's it. they pick some odd choices for what they make though. they have the Ferrari licence right now and have only done the F40, testarossa and 308. no premium R35 GT-R. No premium Aventador. etc
>>9315338A nice haul
>>9310754personally I don't get the hype over hot wheels spectraflame shit, especially on licensed cars. It's gaudy and unrealistic.
>>9316602> It's gaudy and unrealistic.Yes, but also pretty nice looking.
>>9316602It's Meechum auto auction style. You ever watch that? Pure sex.
>>9316602See, for me, the gaudiness is part of the appeal; it makes them feel so much more fantastical and toy-like. Once you slap some redlines and a coat of spectraflame on a tiny metal car, it suddenly feels like a superhero that could jump the grand canyon, drive on the ocean floor, or crash through a brick wall.
>>9316797>it suddenly feels like a superhero that could jump the grand canyon, drive on the ocean floor, or crash through a brick wall.Unironically the best redlines description I've ever heard
>>9315338What are you, a scalper?
>>9315338Mini GTs are more solid than most.
>>9316797Thanks. Of course, it's a shame that people seem so averse to actually opening the RLC ones. That moment when you rip open the packaging and dump that glorious, polished little masterpiece into your hands is magical. It's just not the same through a layer of plastic, although I suppose it was thoughtful of them to put windows on the back of the packages so you can see them from all sides, at least.
>>9303356What's the retail price for one of these? We don't really get mini gt around here, so I don't know.
>>9306964details are incredible but in my experience their propensity to paint rash (and i'm talking about somewhat recent ones) is a deal breaker
>>9317805Got one myself for something like 32-33 bucks including shipping.
>>9317078no, I accumulate these over time. my local Krogers will only restock when all of the cars are bought up, so I'll have to wait for a while. i don't think im getting an EB110pretty happy about buying one of the toy cars I remember from my childhood that I lost/sold at a garage saletomica: I have a Japan proxy, primarily for clothing. does anybody know Japanese tomica/toy sites I should point them towards?siku: is there a way to get them from Europe for cheap or should I just stick to eBay? kind of want a murcielago and Chiron
