But they're both so big now that they overshadow all the competition and thus anything new or interesting that could be done with these concepts. Dinosaurs Attacks and kaiju shit > JP
>>9302548It's not like the franchise has been that good. The first movie was amazing, second was okay, it's all been shit since then.
>>9302548What competition? No one makes dinosaur movies.
>>9308356Toys > movies
>>9308356JP is the reason no one makes dinosaur movies, though. Like that anon mentioned about Dinosaurs Attack, Tim Burton was going to do a movie but with JP overshadowing everything dino-related he decided to do Mars Attacks instead.

>>9330309Sorry but I prefer Mattel shit with zero articulation and zero paint
This might be a longshot but does anyone have an extra set of the ribs for the Jp47 Kenner Allosaurus? That or maybe a 3d printed or casted repro, I got a great deal on an Allo but no ribcage causes the dino damage to fall off a lot.
Wasn't planning on buying Hammond but saw him today and said fuck it.I wish he had rocker ankles though.
>>9330309I just now backed this, what am I in for? I've never purchased a figure from this line before.
>>9338420An articulated dinosaur figure with better sculpt, articulation, and paint than anything else on the market of a similar variety.

>>9272045>>9272140>They dont know
>>9338420What did you pledge? You are either getting a 1/18 or 1/35 Scale Trex or a combination in the available colors. Check out an available Raptor or Ceratopsian from the previous releases. The Ceratopsians are really nice and a good indication of what the paint and quality of the Rexes will be.
>>9338654They always look better in person, but still. How can Mattel look at the stuff McFarlane and Hasbro are doing at the same price point and think that these are okay? The humans have somehow regressed. I really don't know what their problem is since some look good and some look like shit. Do they have a down syndrome artist that did Grant, Ellie, and Owen?
>>9338899Mattel's always had this problem, their DC line was plagued not only with inconsistent quality, but inconsistent size. Towards the end they put out an Alfred that's taller than most of their Batman figures, for example.
>>9337759Where did you get that Spas-12?
>>9338654That's it, I'm washing my hands of this line. Not gonna settle for mediocrity since it's the only option. Maybe if they make another dino that doesn't look awful I'll pick it up, but the humans are a fucking disaster.
>>9338809>Bulbasaur(us), I choose you!
>>9327344why the fuck isnt there a posable 1:1 compie?id rather buy that than any of this colossal bullshit. shit i'd buy half a dozen
>>9339732All of the Amber and Legacy dinos look good. The humans though are a massive disappointment. I'm pretty sure they're literally just upscaled versions of the 3 inch ones with mattel not taking in to account the upscale needs more paint and detail added.
>>9342653Not a action figure, but NECA did a pretty decent Compy. Looks 1:1 like the movie prop, but sadly not 1:1 scale, but i always pretend its a juvenile.
>>9345872No they didn't.
>>9339732already have though happy to collect the legacy humans
>>9327344Good work T-bros
>>9327344Mattel sucks worse than Hasbro with there paint all Hasbro gets remembered for is the mess in 2015 but before that they had better figures than Mattel has bothered to scape together in the past 3 years, this line is trash!
>>9339732yeah, anything that isn't related to the first movie - because god knows they won't do legacy for TLW/JP3 gets a pass. JW is dogshit from top to bottom, so I have no issues skipping on things from those movies whatsoever
>>9345884Sorry, my bad, i meant PAPO, not NECA. Papo makes relatively good Dinos, better than Schleich and other shit. Some of their sculpts look almost 1:1 like the Stan Winston models.I have one of their Compys in my Whites Tree Frog tank and visitors already thought it was a real little dinosaur.
>>9346359I wonder why Hasbro didn't give the franchise the same treatment they have all their others. They rolled out collectors figures for Ghostbusters when the market has been oversaturated with those for years, but hardly did anything for Jurassic. My only idea is that they thought the fanbase wasn't big enough to warrant it.
>>9348537Mainly because they lost the Jurassic license by the time they started doing stuff like Plasma Series for Ghostbusters. Back then they just had Marvel Legends and even Star Wars Black Series was just barely getting started.
>>9339330>>9342616Not that anon who posted the picture, but I think that picture is from collect jurassic's collection. He said in an podcast interview with victoria's cantina that you can find weapons packs in this scale at five below stores for a decent price. Got my Arnold, it actually startled me because the front flap is holding down the trigger button on the set so the moment I opened it I hear "Three minutes and I can have power back in the entire park RRROOOOOOORRRR"
are they still sending snap squad to stores? can't find anything past the color change parasaur wave
>>9355114It sucks but I got it for $10 and I have him posed getting rekt by different dinosaurs nowAlso, baby rex is up on Target now.
>>9357396Your talking about amber collection Arnold aren't you this is the SDCC exclusive in 1/18th scale
is this real or custom? and the new jp raptor is that a reissue? looks identical to me but IDK I still might get it because its a variant
>>9360561not a custom, its official along with Grant. Grant looks as terrible as this looks accurate. its also sold out on Target, it may became as rare and popular as the Dilophasaurus
>>9360947It's only preorders that are sold out. There will at least be a few month long window to get it before its gone. People thought that T-Rex set was going to be impossible to get too, but it isnt.
To those who have the Apatosaurus, how tall it the body not counting on he neck, head or tail?
>>9361197Just make sure to buy up as much of it as possible to sell on eBay like all those friendly neighborhood scalpers do
Jurassic Park version of TJ Omega here. Time for another exclusive review just for /toy/. This thing is just awkward. It's legs are really spindly nd its arms are way too thick. I'm pretty sure there's a wire in the tail but I'm not testing it because I don't want the soft rubber to crack. No joint behind the head so has limited posability, the entire neck has to move along with the head. The paint job isn't good. Obviously way more green than in the movie. They couldn't even be bothered to make the nails a different color.
>>9364174Here's scale compression. I think it looks okay with both individually. Probably no way for Malcolm to hold it like he did in the movie because its too big. The compie is a piece of shit that is impossible to make stand. Overall I think that it is a fairly poor representation of the the baby rex.
>>9364184It gets worse though. We have slack jawed faggot compies. Anyways, if you enjoyed this review please subscribe to my patreon so I can afford food because I spent all my $$$$ on toys.
>>9364188Where is the joint for the lower jaw on the compy's located? If it's in the upper part can you heat up the plastic and reshape the bottom?
Got this in today and damn do I love it
>>9364609It's in the lower. I managed to squeeze the head and make them look somewhat normal. Still absolutely ridiculous for "collectors figures".
>>9364188JESUS CHRISTmy Hasbro JPIII alpha raptor has that same kind of issue, but not as bad as those
>>9364633What figure is that it's beautiful?!

>>9366962>>9366864>>9366847>>9366838Bretty good collection. I wish I would have went for the old 3 3/4 humans instead of the shitty new amber collection ones.
yo, there are leaks of several figures for the line next year not going to post them here but you can check them out on the DTB forum.http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=9121.860there is a Kosmoceratops, looks nice, the box for the super colossal Giga as well as some vehicle

>>9367561They finally did it, I'm happy to say that.btw there are images for the Giga as well
Possible play set pictures? The Dino in the middle on top is definitely the new Theri
This new Rex figure leaked too. Kind of looks like a Buck style paint deco on this one
>>9367798playsets now that's new and exciting though ill believe it when I see it.
>>9367798these are probably minis, I cant see Mattel doing full sale playsets after never bothering with more than one in the past 3 years. also the environment ground and trees makes me think it will be mini oriented doubt they would gamble by doing something so ambitious so soon.Oh here's the Giga
>>9367807So the chances that the jaw will be able to be kept open without the use of a gimmick is pretty much non existent right?
>>9367807So its just a repaint of the "Epic Roaring T-Rex"?
>>9367883might have to just get this giant weirdo
>>9367883Finally a figure as big if not bigger than the Rex hallelujah!

This thread seems well..... dead
>>9376415>This thread seems well..... deadwell that's because there's not too much to talk about that's Jurassic-related right nowgeneral Dino stuff goes in the Dinosaur thread where there's the ongoing Tyrannosaur kickstarter
>>9379067>>9379065Saw reveiws for the Muldoon seem alright close to accurate Grant nope nada messed up face but the glasses can help hide it if you still want it.
>>9379065>>9379067The faces are so inconsistent, some of them seem like they have some faceprinting, and some of them seem like they're just straight painted
Whatbare the chances of toy fair in 2022?
>>9379065>>9379067yeah... I'm just gonna stick to Dinos only
>>9381255Decent, a lot of stuff is opening up now
>>9373360>when you dont get your Lysine
>>9379065>>9379067This is the laziest shit. Their cheapo WWE figures have better faceprints. Glad I cancelled my preorders.
>>9379067Hear me out. What if Hasbro didn’t lose the license? They’re doing really good with their 6in lines with Marvel, Star Wars, Ghostbusters and Power Rangers. What if they still had the Jurassic License I guarantee it would be at least marginally higher quality. Another thing is that Hasbro is doing retro Kenner lines where they retool the old molds with Star Wars and even Marvel now. What if we could’ve had that with Jurassic if we just gave them more time to fix their shit?
>>9382006People hated Hasbro back when they had it. They never did jackshit with the license and I doubt they ever would have made anything remotely close to as good as some of the amber/legacy dinos are. Mattel really makes no sense because on release will be killer but another will look like dogshit. I want to think some of it was rushed out, but we know they've been in the pipeline for 2 years now.
>>9382105Personally I think Mattel's biggest problem is how often they just put out repaints. Their attack pack/basic line sculpts for most dinos are decent for the price but those first two preposed raptors need to be retired, stop using those terrible sculpts.
>>9384428Not only those two, but Mattel needs to actually make new sculpts in general. Troodon is a stretched out raptor, as is Therinzino and Ornitholestes. Even the fucking compies look like Raptors
>>9271257When is he getting released i really need the terror dog dino
>>9270491Holy fuck that plesiosaur is cute, CUTE
>>9367547>favorite obscure dino getting a JP toyToday was a good day
Is there a way to safely remove the neck and the tail on the Legacy brachiosaurus? I want to put it back in the box, but they aren't budging.
>>9386624Nope. Just like the tails on most of the larger carnivores, they're not designed to be removed.
>>9386624>>9386659>>9386780I can't guarantee it'll work but you could try>soak in hot water/use a hair dryer on the base of the neck/tail where it connects until the plastic is a little soft>twist>stick a very thin screwdriver into the gap>slowly slide the screwdriver in>they should pull out when gap is wide enoughyou have to be very delicate about it
Just got my JP3 raptor in. This is my first Amber Collection figure, do they usually have loose joints and dried-up glue on them?
>>9388375I don't have any of the Amber Collection figures, but I know you're not the only one to have quality control issues with the line.
>>9388375Yes. It can be a crapshoot on the joints, but I've had some with glue mess or mispainted parts.
>>9390657>>9388375Bought 3 Amber Nedry figures 2 had misprint Jurassic park logo's.
>>9330309why does this one feel so cartoony
>>9391004It’s based on Dino riders.
>>9391004Minecraft dirt block paintjob
>>9391004nostalgia riders paint job.the Monclinus pulled it off better I feel nothing for this or the final WWD model.
>>9390086>>9390657I guess I won't be buying any more then. It also had a large unpainted pink patch on the teeth and it's right foot was literally splitting apart at the seams.
>>9391135Any time I've contacted Mattel they've give me my money back. I've got Muldoon, Grant, and JP/// raptor coming this week, I will report my findings. The Amber Collection stuff didn't used to be like this though. It probably started going downhill with Ray Arnold/Dimorhodons. Ever since there's been major problems with all of them.
>>9391004Its meant to resemble the original catalogue advertisement image used for the Dino riders Rex but was never seen on the final product. Its something Silva wanted to remedy w this line.
>>9391135I had to get a second Blu from bbts when the first one they sent had a stuck claw that broke and a messed up eye.
If I plunk down $30 or whatever for the smallest dino before Friday will I still be able to buy the KS exclusive rexes in the backer kit?
>>9391503I think so, yes. Just have to add it on after.
>>9391503yes and hopefully backer kit will remain open for several after so we can finalize our list of items
>>9391004Based on the prototype Dino Riders T. rex(which was also on package art and in the tv show)
>>9391503>>9391509>>9391683yes, for a limited time the exclusive ones will be able to be added in the backerkit
>>9390875I bought one and the ID card tampo was squished. Initiated a return and the second one had something wrong with the coat. So I had to take the coat off the first one and put it on the second one to get a semi decent Nedry.
>>9390875Yeah that doesn't surprise me. Like I'd said, I've had some weird eye issues on the raptors.
So when are Grant and Muldoon supposed to start hitting stores?
First time seeing Hammond in the wild. Is his suit supposed to look grimy?
>>9402822Sadly. That’s Mattel’s job at “adding detail.” However you can easily remove the grime
>>9402822>some expenses were spared...
>>9402822You can use a magic eraser or small amount of paint thinner on a q tip to remove it.
>>9379065>>9379067The fuck are they not using print tech for the eyes?
I'm so sick of this dogshit tier company.
>>9409896I wish Hasbro had kept the license, but under a strict eye from Universal. Mehtell sucks so much
>>9409896>>9409919We don’t even get toy news anymore from these fucks. Literally every single product we have known to come out this past two years is due to leaks. It’s pathetic
>>9409919I would be embarrassed if I was Mattel. They're putting this bullshit out with painted on barbie doll eyes, bad/non existent paint apps, glaring flaws like the massive jaw gap, etc, and trying to sell it at the same price point as their competitors who are now creating things that look like they are right off the screen/page for the exact same price point.
>>9409944>I would be embarrassed if I was Mattel. That is implying these cheap shits have any shame about their crappy products. I remember in a prior thread about the missing stripe on the jeep, a toy leaker from the company said the attitude at Mattel was "eh, they'll buy it." It absolutely fucking sucks because the alternative is having absolutely none of this stuff, or having to settle for their crap and / or fix it yourself like toy customizers of instagram do.
>>9409979Speaking of which, is there any known way of fixing that jaw? I can squeeze it together and it looks infinitely better but haven't found a way to make it stick.
>>9410009It may be that the upper and lower head pieces weren't pushed down onto the upper and lower jaws as much as they should have been. You can actually heat up the plastic and remove them to see.Marco Makes did it for a custom head, around 3:40https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL_a-wvmyFA
>>9409919I want this line back so bad , why cant we have nice things?
>>9410823>>9409979>>9409944>>9409919What would have been if the Hasbro didn't get apathetic about the line and go from God tier to trash. The fact that they had the bull rex mold from the kenner days and retooled it to have articulated hips and ankles was incredible think what tgey could have done if they still had the license they could do a real classic line with updated articulation.Hope mattel looses the license even if it goes back to Hasbro I'd be ok with that.
>>9410823Still want that Stegosaurus
>>9269137Hi anons! I’ve got this dinosaur for my nephew at the flea market he really likes it and I don’t know where the hell it came from as there are no product numbers or identification on it. It roars when squeezed it’s rubber in the outside cotton on the inside with a little hole to stick the roaring speaker into it. Can anyone identify this google is of no use cause there’s tons of dinosaur toys I figured I’d ask an expert on here as i know you all share my passion for toys and I’d like to get the boy another one for Christmas. Thanks for those who reply pic related it’s the dinosaur I’ll reply to this post with a second pic
>>9410865Here’s a pic of the bottom the plug has product code A13 or AI3 but neither yield results it’s the only marking I could find on it
>>9410404Thanks, fren. I think this is much better.
>>9410865Here’s the other one I got him. Same plug so I only took one pic of this one since the green one stands out more I was gonna start a thread to ask but figured I should ask here first. Once again thank you for reading I just want to help the kid have a good Christmas and learn where the hell these came from
>>9410839They would do better with it now. No one expected the massive success of Jurassic World. Even the shit Mattel pumps out is supposedly big sellers. I think Hasbro would probably put a lot more time and effort into it if they had it now.
>>9410871No prob, he's lookin gud now.
Does anyone here know how well the Jurassic Park Amber Collection figures scale with Ghostbusters Plasma Series?
>>9411195Like humans vs. dinosaurs? I can take a picture if you want.
>>9411747I meant humans vs humans
Grant doesn't look that bad in person. Definitely passable since you're hardly ever going to be inspecting him up close. The worst part is they have two blatant peg holes right in the side of his head for his sunglasses Muldoon looks fine. I'm 90% sure the retards packed two of the same heads in AGAIN though.
>>9414473>life, uh, finds a way
>>9414462>>9414473Are these showing up in store or did you preorder online?
>>9414462No. One head has an open mouth, other is closed...
>>9415637I ordered from Target. I've never seen Amber collection in person where I live.>>9416934I don't know, man. The alt head is supposed to be mouth open with an "AHHHH" face. That is not the head included.
Atrociraptor ghost and red
>>9418165Interesting, I guess? I don't know why it's in the movie if the regular raptors already fill its role
>>9419134Aren’t there dinosaurs made by Biosyn in this movie? I thought the supplementary dinos were from Dogson’s company getting Wu to work for them or finding their own way to make the dinosaurs.
>>9419194Wasn't the whole thing that they were going to be making more scientifically accurate ones? That one just looks like the regular raptor just stockier. It even still has the downward facing front claws.
>>9419194>>9419134Supposedly all of the new dinosaurs will be created by Biosyn. Atrociraptor, pyroraptor, giganatosaurus, etc.>>9419208I think that was just a fan rumor. All we know for sure is that atrociraptor was originally supposed to be deiyonychus but the studio made them change it to something cooler sounding. We also know that that the prequel showed more "scientifically accurate" ones because the t-rex had a light coat of feathers on it. Personally, I think it could make for an interesting plot point but I don't want them to chase that dragon too much. Even if they did make perfectly accurate dinos by todays standards, they would be dated and inaccurate by the standards of 10 years from now (or less). As it stands the only people who give a shit are autistic neckbeards who comment AKSHUALLY on everything Jurassic Park related.
>>9419988They already gave themselves an out on that one. Since JW established that InGen wasn't going for scientific accuracy, they can say that BioSyn was and intentionally designed them to fit the "current" scientific consensus on what they looked like.
Dominion Pyroraptor leaked
>>9420153It wont though look what they did to the Giga, its full on Godzilla.
>>9424689Looks bretty cool. I just wonder how big they're gonna be.
>>9424769Reminds me of Concavenator and Acrocanthosaurus, all three being Carcaradontosaurids.
>>9424789true and a bit ironic
>>9424689oh wait, is this real?
>>9424689>>9426428oh look at yousoft and featherydon't mind if I have myself a little feela little feel here and a little feel thereit feels so nice so feel your outsideI wonder if it feels as nice to feel your inside
>>9424689are their wrists still contorted?
>>9426844end yourself, cretin
where to get some good quality full rubber dinos? (t-rex, etc) not the ones like Walmart (adventure force or some chinkshit?) that the legs are glued on and tend to fall off
>>9426981>>9426428Are they serious >>has one job, blatantly fails
>>9426844>>9427634Bronto-bill strikes again
Damn, good to see Spino again.
>>9430032And of course male Tyrannosaurs. Look at that, even more scars on his body. Maybe it's Buck from TLW, or adult baby.
>>9430032Oh cool, that means we'll get a new repaint with green eyes.
>>9430035>adult JuniorI recall at some con it was jokingly said that the Rex that Spino killed was adult Junior.
>>9430130Yeah, thankfully it was just a joke. Though I do wonder how many Tyrannosaurs exist on Sorna. Or maybe even elsewhere from other companies.
>>9430032>fat girl is lagging behindDO IT
>>9430032>>9430035>finally leave Isla Nublar>just end up on Isla SornaI mean I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I guess a part of me was hoping they were finally moving on from "kids trapped alone on an island" as their plot
>>9430032>>9430035What's with all the drones?
Anyone have this? I'm wondering about size.
>>9434144Drones are easy to sell to kids during Christmas
>>9434428Is thatba bootleg?
>>9434144The drones are you, the viewer.
>>9438059Does that mean I can watch dinosaur sex? Because it's very, very important that I know...
>>9436150Yeah, I think its a bootleg nanmu. It's the only remotely decent indoraptor i can find though.
>>9440945You and >>9426844 need help
>>9444083yes we need helpthese girls can be feistythis will be a three man operationtwo of us hold her downand the third... mm life finds a way
>>9444083I don't mind if you watch
>>9430032Oh shit i might have to watch this show now if my nigga spinosaurus is in it
>>9446619for sexy time?
>>9453165No. Spino is for hug, not for fug.
>>9457042I hope Ben dominates Spino and starts fucking her and whispering "you're my new Bumpy you whore"
So... when are Grant and Muldoon supposed to hit stores?
>>9269137I got the extreme damage indominous today at my local walmart. My god is he fun to play with and i love having him chomp my other figures and dinosaurs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9txyZ-kRgM>half-ass the feathers>blatant miscegenation propagandaDropped, I'm not watching this shit
>>9469800oh nooo whatever will a multi-billion dollar franchise do without your measly $10
>>9469800imagine being so insecure over yourself you can't accept other people existing lol
>>9469820>>9469902Why do you defend this agenda pushing shit?
>>9469902The forced shots lingering on the two BMWF couples(one with a cuck) solely for pandering are the least of the trailers problems.>taunt you with a cool wildlife scene of dinosaurs, things are only going to get retarded from here on>it's one fucking fish and wildlife copter trying to sedate the t-rex when she's an active danger to people, almost killing grandma themselves>immediately loses the giant dino and gives up>rexy doesn't even eat anyone, wouldn't want the "hero" dino to do anything too badThe franchise has moved away from treating the dinosaurs like the unpredictable animals they would be, to capeshit superheroes, especially Blue. As the series progresses, it's less "innocent" people dying and more just a way for bad guys to get their comeuppance.I bet the only people dying in this one will be the mean mercenary/army men or maybe a dumb redneck with a MAGA hat trying to shoot a baby triceratops. That's not even mentioning the plot for this one.
>>9470745>The franchise has moved away from treating the dinosaurs like the unpredictable animals they would be, to capeshit superheroes, especially BlueGod this got really bad even from JW to JW:FK. In the first one they made a big deal about how raptors aren't dogs you can just domesticate and Owen was in genuine danger whenever he interacted with them. He needed to be really careful even around Blue, and he was never sure if she would attack him or not. Then comes FK and she's basically a Pokemon that he's best friends with.
>>9470745As much as I like Giganotosaurus, that fight seemed…anticlimactic. Did Giga snap ancient Rexy’s neck or was ancient Rexy just a literal push-over? You know that Round 2 with the new Giga is gonna end with the Rex winning somehow, it’s just so painfully obvious at this point. My other gripe is the fact that Giganotosaurus, a South American dinosaur from the mid-Cretaceous, inexplicably was in North America at the end of the Cretaceous. I know JP isn’t known for scientific accuracy due to the cloning thing, but a relict population of Acrocanthosaurus or even Allosaurus/Saurophaganax would make more sense from an ecological standpoint. How the hell did Giga get to N. America if the isthmus of Panama didn’t exist yet?
>>9470776it swam like the giga chad it is
>>9470999…and now I remember that book-Rexy swam like a goddamned crocodile. Fuck, I’ll accept it.
>>9470776I'm look foward to the Giga being a figure that outsizes rexy for once gonna be fun
>>9470745The backlash from the hot british nanny getting killed in JW supposedly put a new rule in place for the films. A "deserved deaths" only rule where the only people who can get killed are meanies. Steven Spielberg needs to fuck off away from this franchise.
>>9472598I had it in my post originally but had to cut for space, but if you pay attention, only park workers die in JW, most of them killed by the dinosaur turned slasher villain indo. The assistant death was the only out of nowhere one, and it was great. All the tourists just get banged up a bit.FK makes it even worse by only having distinctly bad guys die. It's turned from a chaos theory, no longer top of the food chain situation to evil man got chomped and I clapped!
>>9469800So they're really going with the idea that after four years nobody could do a thing about a T-Rex that's just roaming around?
>>9472740I like the idea of dinosaurs now being out there and people just having to live with it, but Fallen Kingdom didn't really set that up. There were only a handful of dinosaurs, few of them even breeding pairs, some of them got bought by crime lords and then there's a bunch that just got released into the California wilderness. There aren't nearly enough of them to sell the idea that they're just out in the world multiplying, it's hard to buy the idea that they couldn't just be wrangled up or killed by authorities. Did they all just happen to have DNA from an animal that reproduces by budding? Is BioSyn making new dinos and releasing them into the wild just for fun? The only ones I could see just slipping through and becoming a genuine pest are the compies.
>>9472760it's an allegory about migrants
>>9473239SO THEY'RE JUST GONNA KEEP SHOVING THEIR AGENDA IN THEN AREN'T THEY
>>9472760>Fallen Kingdom didn't really set that up. There were only a handful of dinosaurs,>>9472760>There aren't nearly enough of them to sell the idea that they're just out in the world multiplying, it's hard to buy the idea that they couldn't just be wrangled up or killed by authoritiesIt's also worth noting that all the animals are lysine deficient as per the original movie. The only way any of the carnivores could survive is by eating lots of herbivores who crave lysine-rich plants to not die. Which... there aren't any herbivores in the numbers any animal, much less a t-rex, would require.
>>9474571Not necessarily, since TLW established that the dinosaurs can somehow survive without lysine, or have a source for it nobody had taken into account. Malcolm asks about this and Hammond just mentions that it's one of the questions he wants the team to investigate, but the movie never actually provides an explanation.
JW:E Metricanthosaurus when?
Thread is going die
