>>8814323Which Robocop should I get, 1 or 2? Is there much of a difference between them other than deco and accessories?
>>8814335Aside from the deco and accessories, it's the same figure. While I like the colors of 2 more I had some pretty bad QC on mine which 1 didn't.
>>8814335Don't know anything about the figures or the QC but on looks alone I'd go with the more classic/iconic number 1.
>>8814365>>8814367Ah okay, I wasn't sure if there was more too it other than that.I'll get 1 then.
>>8814367And here's all three of them together.
>>8814367I always remember him looking more blue than silver which is why I went with 2. May be a byproduct of when I grew up because I think he looked that way in advertising and games.
>>8814323This figure is a masterpiece.
needed this head sculpt
>>8815197Agreed. It's takes more effort to do battle damage properly and I think they knocked it out of the park here.
Is there anyone here who has the JL Batman and the black Hush Batman that see if the Hush head goes on the JL body?
>>8814323How they managed to do a capture this art style perfectly in plastic I’ll never know. Translating that head into 3d and highlighting it with their face print tech is beyond impressive. Having it also being a fully articulated toy for such a bruiser makes this my toy of the year easy.
>>8814323I could stare at this figure for hours. He's probably the greatest batman figure ever made.
>>8814323Just got mine today. What a work of fucking art.
Is Miles worth the asking price? I'm not that impressed with the ML but I do love clothed goods.
>>8816075Have you never seen a 3D printer? It's like this is magic to you. If it's done by hand then it's simply just a talented artist.
>>8816534I meant it’s hard to capture this specific art style in a 3D form. I think it’s all digitally rendered. Very talented digital artists I’m sure.
>March>Still waiting for my Hush Superman to arrive
Got an email from amiami - Endgame Cap slipped to July.
>>8819278So did Gambit
>>8819278Same with Gambit, unfortunately.
>>8819054>picked slow boat shippingYou did this to yourself.
>>8814373You can't go wrong with any of the 3, I picked 3rd because even though I hate the 3rd movie, I loved the design for his stub-machine gun hand + I like the 1 or 3's silver color scheme more. One of mafex's best.
>>8816474No. Honestly I'm happier with my ML despite his issues. And the extra height doesn't bother me since I can pretend he's an older teen Miles.
I want to see someone pop the nanotech gauntlet onto triumphant bats
>>8819391I wonder why Miles turned out so meh while Peter turned out pretty much perfect. It's so annoying, now I want to grab that SV-Action one but mixing lines is rarely ideal.
So I guess we're not getting a Cara Dune huh
>>8819391>>8820059I don't know about you guys but I'm enjoying my Miles. It just seems fragile but its pretty accurate and with a little shock oil its worry free about breaking anything.
>>8820059Most of what makes Miles meh for me is his clothes not fitting well. The fit of the bomber jacket/hoodie is so boxy and stiff, and it rides up so high that it makes him look like he has no neck. His suited body also looks skeletal, way too skinny (Gwen also looks too have the same problem, too thin and sticklike). All of these things work better on Pete because he's larger, (a little) thiccer, and his sweatpants and coat have more room to breathe and more forgiving cuts for this scale.I plan to mix Mafex Pete B and Sentinel Miles. Sure, it'll be a little weird, but fuck it, I care about a good looking display more than I care about continuity of materials.
>>8822530Sentinel's is not perfect either. I think the expression on the face is kinda weird, and don't like that we only get one unmasked face for such an expressive movie. But I like way more about it. The sculpt looks great, even the base body itself has a better and more dynamic shape, and the clothes look fantastic. While they're all unlicensed, the shoes look more like Js than Mafex's attempt.
>>8822536Finally though, what really clinched it for me was the hands. Mafex's hand sculpts (and honestly, a lot of the time Bandai's too) are really underwhelming and shoddy looking. They're just limp, lifeless, there's nothing exciting about them. Those fingers might as well be boiled hot dogs.Meanwhile, Sentinel's fingers scream action. There is tension to them, you can feel the pressure exerted on the surface beneath them, and there is a nice flow of thick and thin to the joints and pads of the fingers. This is a fantastic hand sculpt.
>>8822530The clothes suffer from the Mezco syndrome. It feels and looks better in person and is often real hard to capture in photos.
I don't know if this pic is gonna upload sideways or not but anyway....I got him in the mail today and I am seriously impressed. His face is fantastic. So is the unmasked face. No issues with any of the limbs - I have a prob with the right leg on my black version DKR Batman falling off easily...but this one seems fine...Nothing seems too tight, or too loose. Didn't need to lubricate anything this time.I am really, really liking him. Looking forward to the non-battle damaged blue version and hopefully the inevitable Superman, which is top of my wish list.
where can i pre-order ben reilly?also i want a 90s mafex Cable
Anyone here have Michael Jordan? What’s the consensus? I’m pretty new to collecting but it all started with me feeling the inner 90s nostalgiafag which is kind of the whole reason I want him
I really like the body on this and the tattoos
>>8824696I have him and he's great! You should get him.
Found Miles at Mercari for 70 and 90 shipped for Peter on eBay. Hope the quality control gods shine on me on both.
FFH Spidey just dropped at HLJ>>8822536>>8822538I love the accessories but the minimal wrist articulation kills it for me. This things like, what, $100 retail? Having the hands only be able to rotate for that price sucks.
Not as bulky looking as I remember the promo pics looking
>>8825366Different pose and angle.
>>8825357No unmasked Peter head? Boo.
>>8824774take the dress off and you'll change your mind
When are we getting the witch?
>>8825366the suit looks better without the web lines filled in
>>8825366God damn they made him look like a twink in the promo pics holy fucking yum
I am glad to see Ben and Azbat selling out before release in some places. I was sort of worried they would be shelf warmers.Hopefully that leads to them taking more chances with their comic line. Hopefully Return Superman does pretty well too.
>>8825252Huh, I never noticed that before. Not a dealbreaker for me, as they seem to have figured out some great angles for the hands, but it is a very odd choice. I guess it might have been to keep a more seamless look? Seems contradictory though, as the rest of him has very visible joints. Some of his promo pics show the wrists "popped out" a little bit, I hope that means there's some wiggle room for unseating them and adjusting the angle of the peg a little (like a deep-set balljoint).
>>8825366I just paid for mine. Not sure if I'm happy with how it turned out or not.
>>8825366The right looks akin to the picture used for a costume on Aliexpres and the left is what you finally get in the mail.
>>8825366I'm liking this a lot
>>8822777>tfw poor fag>tfw all I can do is admire this glorious son of a bitch from afarGod damn that figure is spectacular
We need a Wonder Woman, Mafex. Quit fucking around with live action shit.
>>8829806Considering the abundance of wondy hentai you'd think some japanese company would have given us a classic wondy by now. I want those thighs out and about dammit.
>>8829808>Considering the abundance of wondy hentai you'd think some japanese company would have given us a classic wondy by now.Like 3 doujinshis? that's not abundant. Power girl got more.
>>8830657I'd take peeg too friendo
>>8828098Yeah it's okay. I think I might be getting tired of all the Spideys. Preordered Night Monkey at first but now this long out not sure I want it still. Same with Hush and Catwoman...
>upgraded spidey suit payment requestfuck, i should've combined this with my gamer chairs.also fuck, i have...4 or 5 MCU spidey's now? gotta decide which to keep.
>>8828098I feel like I'm too deep in the Spidey hole to skip this one. I already have the home made bandai and IW and homecoming mafexs. I hope I can catch one on a slight discount to justify another mcu spider-man.
>>8828098>no MAFEX or SHF Mysterio
>>8832523>wanting movie mysterio
>>8832527>not wanting movie mysterioR U gay?
>>8828098It's my favorite suit. I just we we got it as an adult Spider-Man instead of the twink from the MCU. Make this the same size as their Comic Spidey and I'm sold.
>>8827328Anon that’s not the witch I meant, silly goose
>>8833462>her face when she sees your hex
Got my Peter and got hit with the quality control syndrome. Is there any fix for a shoulder that pops off the joint constantly? I'm happy its not broken but whenever I rotate it the joint just pops off.
>>8834272Wrap a thin bit of plastic around the ball, like what comes in the package.
>>8834618Tried that didn't work sadly so going to see if pledge on the joint works.
Got Spidey in, no damages or anything, pretty happy with it, all things considered. He's a bit boring otherwise.
>>8835175Try heating the joint while the shoulder is connected. Maybe it just warped and became loose.
>>8837317I've never thought about that I'll do that later thanks anon.
>>8837132how firmly can he hold his phone? any other spideys to do a height comparison?
>>8833462>more live action shitno <3
>>8840216Exactly! Give me classic comic Wanda and Vision instead
>>8840216I am pretty bummed out by how they have revealed nothing but live action shit for the last several releases. On-model comic releases are something no other company is really doing so I was really enjoying their recent lineup. I don't really give a shit about their MCU pissing match with SH Figuarts or the walking corpse of the Snyderverse.
>That'll be $150 plus tip.Is anyone even entertaining the idea of getting him? There are some cool things going on with this release but it's so much fucking money.
>>8843226Only if you're obsessed with having the best versions of MCU characters. I'm okay with putting down big bucks knowing I never need another.Since I got comic spidey, anything that could come out never crossed my mind.
>>8843226He does look good, but I'm not attached to Strange enough to need an expensive import.I'm pretty much done with MCU figures as a whole unless someone makes a good Winter Soldier Stealth Cap.
>>8843285Speaking of Winter Soldier, has anyone made a good definitive version of Bucky from that movie yet? That was my favorite look for him.
>>8843332maybe some day
Got word that Starlight and Endgame Captain Marvel are this months reveals. Fuck.
>>8846215>Endgame Captain MarvelHoly shit, that's somehow an even worse choice than BoP Harley
>>8846311Nah, it is
>>8844292I just want the tree....Knowing my lick they'll release teen tree instead
>>8844292Him and Cap both looked great, better then any previously released version. Hopefully they'll get around to them since they're going back and doing the older Avengers movie now.
>>8815070Some home video and TV versions of Robocop put a blue filter over the movie resulting in Robo looking blue, many people feel as you do as a result.
>>8846263It's shit but if I was forced to choose at gun point I'd pick Captain Marvel over Harley since the BoP design is so bad.
>>8846215>tfw they were supposed to reveal more Hush shit since December but then DC decided to fuck it upSometimes I hate this hobby.
>>8846637Where did you pull that from? Sounds made up
>>8846215They're working up to Thanos, right?
>>8846644I guy who know a guy working from some guys.
>>8846215I guess they're done with comic releases. Time to sell all my Mafex if this is all we're going to get. I'll keep Hush Batman but I'm not buying other shit if we're not getting complete teams
>>8822777Got mine too, he's just fantastic.
>>8846891They probably aren't done but don't expect complete teams; they barely complete teams for their live action stuff. Avengers Infinity War/Endgame has been the closest they've gotten and it seems we'll get a decent Boys line-up. They did do Justice League but no villains. We'll mainly get variants from popular/mainstream eras that got Japanese translations, don't expect deep cuts like Cass cain Batgirl.
>>8846891>>8847221If we can get the odd big character every now and then, I'd be fine with that. I've been trying to downsize anyways, but I'm still dying for a classic comic Captain AmericaHope the rumours of Bandai trying out comic SHF are true so we can at least get something more consistent
>>8846891Don't be such a downer, anon.
>>8847221>Cass cain Batgirl.Oh god I'd coom and a May Parker Spider-girl to go with her I want to DREAM
>>8847815man. i want her to cut the circulation out of my dick with webbing like a cock ring and ride me with the mask on
>>8846215I hope you are wrong but I wouldn't even be a little bit shocked. This line took a hard right into normalfag garbage territory a few months ago.
>>8814323Anyone else had the issue where one of the legs has a really stiff socket? The left one of my Spider-Man is so tight it can barely move.Would shock oil be the best thing to fix this?
>>8850220Yup. Honestly most of the Mafex figures I've purchased have had a tight hip or two. For some I just popped the leg off and popped it back on to fix the issue. For others, like my Hush Superman who had a completely tight hip, I applied shock oil and that freed it up.
>>8849986>This line took a hard right into normalfag garbage territory a few months ago.
>>8853266kek the first three figures were Spider-Man, Batman and Vader
>>8846311Why? Nothing Captain marvel sells, her movie was so poorly received they had to buy their own tickets and donate them to pad their profit numbers. >>8849986>>8847815>>8846891They aren't done with comic releases, this is probably a mandated push from the mouse, expect more comic figures after these two poorly received figures. We might even get Spider-girl.
>8855935>source: my assOh, poor insecure white boy
Save the thread from page 10 bump
>>8814323so how often do MAFEX get 2.0s? I'm thinking of getting Hush Superman, but if theres a chance of a reissue of some kind i could wait for that..
>>8857389plenty of word of mouth, from pictures of empty theaters, managers of theaters saying theaters were practically empty for certain showtimes and yet those showtime's tickets were mostly sold out..seems you people accept word of mouth from only a select group of "people" as concrete evidence, because its the victim's "lived experience" but anyone who says something that goes against you and your shitty ideals? no no. thats not enough. you freaks are a disease.
>>8861839Depends on what you mean. They'll do the same character from different movies like an Iron Spider from both Infinity War and Endgame, with minor differences. When it comes to comic versions the best you'll get is a recolor one in awhile. Otherwise it's different costumes altogether like the upcoming brown suit Wolverine or Death of Superman Supes.I doubt we'll see another classic style Superman, personally.
>>8861880oh the irony
>>8862093>I doubt we'll see another classic style Superman, personallyWe had motherfucking better considering the one they made only has Poison Ivy accessories
>>8862375Hey we might get a Poison Ivy with superman parts in 2023.
Hope BTAS bats leads to Superman, which leads to this sometime in 2030
FFH spidey is really cool but for a figure with a phone a hand to hold it properly would've been nice
>>8862523far from home... at barracuda bay
>>8861839>>8862093Since they’re doing black suit return of Superman I think it’s possible we’ll get a battle damaged Death of Superman figure kind of like “triumphant” Batman that just released. And since they’re doing the armored Batman from DKR we may get a bulky DKR Superman, which is not quite “classic” Superman, but close. Not to reignite the argument but if a future poison ivy comes with a non-angry Superman head then hush supes will be classic enough for me.
>>8863174Hopefully. Gotta get through this wave of live action shit first. >>8846215I refuse to believe this. Please say jk.
What are the chances they'll do a 1.5 with extra arms and full mask head?
>>8846263BoP Harley would have been great if they chose this outfit.
>>88636430 or maybe 1%
>>8865924All her outfits in that movie were complete shit
>>8865924That movie didn't happen
>>8865924let the dogshit movie die already
>>8863643why would you want this? I thought he was the best part of the snydercut, but his design is still ass.
Damn, Medicom's not going to rerelease any Justice League stuff, huh? I was hoping to at least get Tactical Batman and maybe Flash, not because I love the movie but moreso that they look like great figures
>>8865924I just want Black Mask. Ewan was great in the role.
>>8866395They will release Snyder cut stuff. Maybe some will be rereleases.
>>8866423I just want Black Suit Superman with a better (less pale) skin tone and better likeness to Cavill.Should be the easiest thing for Mafex to do since it's just a recolor with (preferably) a new head sculpt.
>>8866423I hope they at least give us a Darkseid or Steppenwolf. In the meantime McFarlane will have to do. Being bigger characters I don't think they will look too out of place next to my Mafex team.
>>8866395I don't know about rereleases but a black suited Superman seems likely. I'd really like Deathstroke or a new Knightmare Batman.
>>8866612Deathstroke and Knightmare Batman would be instant pre orders, A+ designs
>>8866408same desu, i rather have her new SS outfit
>>8866395Colors are off on this guy, I went with the Mezco version.
Why is Mafex cucking to no-gunz when other companies can proudly wave them in DC's face?
>>8867960Hope he looks good with hush batman. Harley didn't look to bad with him.
>>8867952Batman's suit wasn't purplish light grey
>>8868183I'm not seeing any purple on the Mezco. And it's still closer than the goldish/tan color that Mafex used on the armor plating.
>>8867952>Colors are off on this guy, I went with the Mezco version. The colours are off in that the Mezco undersuit should be a darker grey - and maybe the silver should be slightly warmer - but the Mezco is such a fantastic figure, I don't think it's controversial to say it's right up there as one of their best releases.
>>8868441It's pretty much the only batman they made with a decent Ab-crunch too.
I updated the checklist. And added all the extras packs, as well as a few rumble society/hazard squad things we likely will will get eventually.I had the drastically lower the image quality to get it under 4mb so apologies for the low res.
>>8868600Shoot sorry, posted this in the wrong thread, whoops.
>>8868441I really hate those fucking goggles. If they wanted something covering his eyes for protection or whatever they should've just made white lenses. At least it'd look like the comics.
>>8868643made him look like Night Owl
fuck, now I want MAFEX Watchmen
How's the QC on Peter B. Parker?
>>8868722The blue on the legs and arms have a heavier black wash than the torso on some copies, makes the full spidey costume look off. Aside from that, no more widespread problems it seems, you'd think the limb swap-out parts would be fragile as all hell but they feel safe to swap constantly in and out, the material tolerances on the pieces are perfect.
Post your Miles poses so I can be influenced on how to pose mine. These shorts are super restricting for his leg mobility which is disappointing for a spidey.
>>8868846Here’s as close as I could get to What’s Up, Danger. Knees just can’t get as close to his chest as they are in the movie
>>8868846I keep mine mid swing
>>8868969what the fuck is going on with your spiders
>>8868643They are totally optional on the Mezco.
>>8868846Not currently home so no pics but I have mine in the exaggerated swagger freefall
>>8868691I wish the snyder watchmen got better figures. The DCD line was impeccably sculpted but they were all pretty much just statues.
>>8868969Er, the hell is fisk doing back there?
>>8871102Yeah. I have the set. Opened a couple then got bored lol.
>>8869015>>8871106The intention was to have fisk look like he's falling with the comic spider about to web him but the more spiders I have gotten the less clear that is.
>22nd>no magazine leakWtf is this shit?
>>8868722Mine came with some extra paint blobs on the face of the half unmasked head. Looks shitty.
>>8871612The only times in the past few years I can remember not getting magazine leaks by the 22nd followed by pre-orders on the 23rd were the Joker/Psylocke (came a week before) and the Mandalorian (came on the 29th).
I really want a mafex bane now
>>8871146I like your setup it is similar to my spider setup including Peter being in the middle. My suggestion for Kingpin would be to put you Spidey on top of him and have the webs touching him too. Might make the scene look more clear for what you are going for.
>>8874026Really hope we can get a Knightfall Bane eventually but I'm having doubts now. It seems like Medicom just want to make costume variations of big characters rather than actually delving into more diverse character choicesShame because I was hoping we could get some other bat-villains like Ivy, Harley or Riddler out of the Hush line but I don't really see it happening anymore. Even if they did it wouldn't release for years at this point
>>8874079Bane is a big character
>>8874079Hush is a literal fucking "who?" character unless you've read the comics, everyone knows who Bane is from either the movies, cartoons, or comics. They'll make Bane, anon, don't you worry.
>Shin Ultraman>Rebuild Eva 01 v2>Eva 13Another month wasted.
>after I bought the first on discountWell, I haven't even received it yet.
>>8875012>>8875049The new Evangelions seem like a weird choice. Unit 013 looks almost identical to the version that came out in December other than the crossed arms piece and third lance.
>>8875058Yeah, they're repaints with some extra accessories. 01's coloring is a big improvement.
I want Unit 03 dammit.
>>8875065I'd like some angels or pilots. There are so many Eva figures but I can't think of many angels.
>>8875012No matter what it was you would have said this
>>8875171No. You're retarded.
>>8875012>Shin Ultraman>Rebuild Eva 01 v2>Eva 13Damn
>>8875012>Something Bandai has a great track record with making the Mafex basically pointless>Rebuild EvasIf they did TV Evas they could have all of my money but the Rebuilds are too shit for me to justify ever buying anything from them.
>>8874026>>8874079Hoping with ya lads. Sad the only decent figure we ever got in the decade old BAF.
You don't do knight fall azrael and not do bane
>>8875171based and chadpilled
>>8874026>>8874079Hope he isn't a manlet like Venom
>>8875171based calling out shitposter anon
>>8875049Speaking of Evas, does anyone own both a Mafex and one of the new RDs, and if so, how do they compare to each other? Which poses better, feels better, looks better?
>>8875049Still no articulation at the abdomen?
>>8875012Third month in a row I haven't preordered shit from Mafex. And I like Eva + Shin Ultraman, but Bandai's offering will be/are better for both
>>8876058There's a rubber shell over the torso joints. The figure can hunch over some. Unfortunately the top of the rubber piece will pop out the back if the chest is too far forward. Hopefully they'll fix it, but the issue is on all of the EVAs. I think the piece just needs to be longer to keep it from sliding out.
>>8875012>this >fucking out of nowhere 2 RAH announcements What the absolute fuck is medicom doing?
>>8875947I had Mafex, RD v1 and RD v2. Mafex is complete shit. RD v1 is good and RD v2 is very good. If you're okay with bigger figures too, I'd recommand the ThreeZero one. It's a tad less poseable than the RD but it feels and look absolutely stunning.
>>8876884Shit, for real? I bought one of ThreeZero's Robo-Dou figs (Ingram 1) but it's still in my pile of loot. That was gonna be my test for the line, the one that helped me decide whether to continue with it. But if you say Eva 01 turned out great, well...that's kinda tempting. If it's even in the same ballpark as the RD v1 poseability wise, I would be a very happy camper.
>>8876884>>8877023Also, I think this might be one of my favorite berserk headsculpts of all time.
>>8875711Of course he would be. Japan doesn't care about scale.
>>8877069They care at least a little bit more than Todd
Anyone else's Hush Batman a complete piece of fucking shit? Just opened mine up. 3 of the wires are not attached, the right side of the cape is not attached to the cowl, the cowl itself is hanging on by a thread of plastic at the front, and the left knee gets jammed severely when bending back to neutral position. I've heard of some QC issues but this is pretty damn bad lol.
>>8878449My blue one has loose limbs. My black one has cape wires not attached and one of the thighs was fused with the black crotch which left a white unpainted spot on the thigh when separated.I'm convinced every single Mafex figure has issues and that people saying otherwise are shills, trolls or simply have very low standards.
>>8879709It's always a QC lottery I think. My black Batman and Hush Superman are perfect, with only a few tight joints here and there. My original release comic Spider-Man (one of the universally loved Mafex figures) has fairly floppy joints and the elbow falls apart at this pointSeems like they just have low standards at their factories and a mix of good and bad gets sent out
>>8879756This seems to be the case with nearly every release. Most recent example being the Peter B everyone and their mother got. Anons in here got some with broken cloth goods and acid melted necks while most got a great figure
>>8879756If these were the only Mafex I own(ed) I would agree with the lottery thing but with about 40 figures bought and all of them having issues, I'll stick to my shill/troll/low standards theory. And since I know someone will ask: I keep buying them because despite their awful QC, some of them look stellar.
>>8880011>>8879761>>8879709Well, at least I'm not alone in my struggles. It's a shame we all paid a hefty price for these and got dicked. Also a shame that they look so good but turn out to be junk. It's funny, the only Mafex I've got that is flawless is Wolverine, the one everyone complained about. I wanted to get DKR Batman after Hush, but now I don't think I will. Sucks, mafex makes the only Batman figures I like the look of.
>>8875947>Speaking of Evas, does anyone own both a Mafex and one of the new RDs, and if so, how do they compare to each other? Which poses better, feels better, looks better?I had both, mafex looks good and poses good, but it's plastic has a cheap feel, it's hard to describe but most people who compared the two said similar. I ended up selling my mafex. The RD2 has a thinner feeling plastic then the RD1, but better proportions and feels better then the mafex to handle.
>>8880011>>8880155All of my Mafex has some type of problem.I still love them but the price is a bit steep for some of these problems.
Yeah I love Mafex’s comic releases and they’ve made some of my favorite figures, but the widespread QC issues are unacceptable for the price point
>>8880011My Petes left shoulder can't socket properly so it pops off whenever I rotate it. I've done everything from heating it up to applying pledge but nothing seems to work.I still quiet enjoy the figure despite all its major flaws but I can't properly play with it sadly.
>Mera's only just starting to come out nowOnly nine more releases... I guess I'll keep waiting
Can't decide between Mezco Supreme Knight or Mafex Dark Knight Black version. If I could find the Mezco Shadow edition at a sensible price it'd be a no-brainer. I like the tacticool look or the Mezco but his proportions look a bit off, like he's a bit of a dwarf.
>>8884515Go with Mafex DKR Bats. I'm admittedly biased against Mezco to begin with, but Mafex DKR is one of my favorite figures of all time.
>>8884524Actually meant the Hush version, not a big fan of Miller's fridge Bats even though the sculpt and overall quality look insane.
>>8884360I'm fucking pumped for Mafex Cap.Infinity Thor was so good, and we haven't gotten a great Endgame Steve. The Figuarts was cartoony garbage and the ML was just alright. This'll be the last Chris Evans Cap I'll ever need.
>>8884754Same here man, with no decent import comic classic comic Cap, I've been getting really hyped for this release. Had the SHF and it's proportions are awful, almost robotically skinnyI'll be interested to see how the new Manipple heads fit on the Mafex once they're both out.
>>8884825I hope they do it one of these days.
>>8863643i desperately want this, but doubt it will happen.also god damnit why is he $90 plus shipping from every damn seller
Taking bets on whether Catwoman actually releases in April. In think she will.
>>8889000If she does it'll be on the very last day of the month at 11:59pmThat's why I don't bother pre-ordering Mafex stuff anymore, I don't like the idea that they can drop randomlyPlus the qc roulette
>>8889000Medicom updated some release dates on their site today. Catwoman is still listed as April. TDKR Joker pushed to May, TNBA Batman and brown Wolverine pushed to June. There might have been some other changes but I was only checking the stuff in April/May.
Which one should I get /toy/? I found them both for the same price. Those of you that have both do you prefer one to the other?
>>8893912Hush Bats is amazing if you need a regular Batman. Unless you like the old Bat look, yeah, go with Hush.
>>8893912I have the black DKR Bats and prefer that one, mostly because the cape is much more manageable. Dark Knight Triumphant's cape is a bit longer but still not as crazy as Hush.Hush is still really good, though, so it really just comes down to which design you prefer.
>>8893912Triumphant is their best batman. It's incredibly accurate with really well done battle damage. It's a joy to pose.
>>8891288Nice. Good news hopefully.
>>8891288looks like spiderverse gwen has been pushed back to june
>>8894155Watch her go to December
>>8893912Why not both?
>>8891288I forgot I had Catwoman ordered. I got Hush ordered too...I'm not wanting them anymore after all this time, haha. Fuck. I guess I'll sell them once I get them in from Amiami.
>>8895477Just cancel. If you don’t do it too often you’re fine.
>>8893912This >>8895458They're different enough that you can't really compare them. I will say that TDKR Bats feels more solid and has way better paint and QC. Hush Bats has more accessories.
Have there been any rumors of a Hush Robin?
>>8895971I don't think there have been any rumors, it's mostly just "they're making a lot of Hush figures so they're probably going to make x character from Hush." It definitely seems like a possibility but who knows what characters they'll get to.
>>8895994Judging by how things have been going recently, we might not even get more Hush characters.
>>8895971>>8895994>>8896647Not a rumor. Reliable inside informations. Robin was planned and some others being considered. The thing is, preorders should have opened back in February. Something definitely happened (same goes for Bandai and probably other companies too) but nobody wants to spill the beans. My guess is that it has something to do with DC banning guns or whatever.
>>8896647I can only hope they move onto a better comic with a proper Superman.
>>8896699Is that really going to happen? I mean even MLs have guns. It’s not like kids are going to buy an import figs of deathstroke because its comic/movie accurate & has more accessories and articulation than a $20 walmart fig. If WB is heading down this route, then they shouldn’t include guns in their movies that are marketable to kids.
>>8896699>DC banning gunsWhy are they being anal about this all of a sudden.
>>8897027>>8897032No idea what's going on but Medicom was pretty clear about this: DC asked them to remove the announced gun from the Hush Joker release. Chances are they asked for changes on other planned figures which lead to cancellation/delay.
>>8897072It weird as they let mcfarlane Thomas keep his guns.
>>8897074Honestly, Medicom probably saw the chance to save a bit of money. McFarlane's still have guns, Amazing Yamaguchi came with 4 guns, all those statues still have guns, etc.
>>8897074>>8897089The gun ban only applies to promotional pictures. You cannot show a picture of a DC character holding guns as part of the official merchandise promotional images. That's it. It is possible however that some overseas companies misunderstood whatever instructions they received.
>>8897115Yep, and AY/Kaiyodo figured it out among others, so I doubt that's the case. Perhaps it was just a decision to not mess with the rule. Can't break the mandate if you don't have guns to begin with.
>>8897115Medicom already debunked that theory. DC asked the cancel the gun, not just to remove it from promos.
>>8897136>Medicuck already deboonked that theory! Then why are they the only company removing accessories, lmao
>>8897136I doubt DC and WB put out this rule then said, "all these companies can keep the guns but just not show them, including this statue of Grim Knight with a ton of guns, but Medicom, you remove the guns entirely."
>>8897143>>8897146Because they were probably approved before that retarded decision. Hush Joker wasn't hence the color change a few weeks before the gun removal. Making toys takes time, lot of back and forth and approbations. The smallest change can takes months.
>>8897178Why are you coping so poorly with the fact that Mafex is the only toy-company in the world cucking to no-gunz?Are you actually a Mafex fanboy or something?
>>8897199Here's your (You).
If the gun ban is gonna be for all DC toys going forward, that'll be interesting for The Suicide Squad toys, since about a third of the roster's only ability is "shoots people"
>>8897032Considering AT&T bought them like a year ago, I'm assuming that has something to do with it. There's also WB's new "merchandising" department which I'm assuming handles the licenses.
Wanted to see what the classic magneto would look like.Excuse my crappy attempt to photoshop oot his pigtails.
Oh and has anyone made a release list, eh?Here's a placeholder until I can make a more HQ one.
>>8898406Not bad, the purple for the cape looks a bit too saturated maybeDepending on what the reviews on him are like I was considering getting him, replacing the cape and snipping the ponytails off of the helmeted heads. I just love the classic blacked out look, it's very villainousI figure there won't be much demand for AoA Magneto so I'll be able to get him cheap down the line. Even if Medicom do do a proper Magneto classic, it wouldn't release for at least two years after this one anyways
>>8898514>I figure there won't be much demand for AoA MagnetoYeah, that's the reason I think they're doing him first. If they do classic magneto first, then no one would buy AoA magneto. So they're getting as much money oot of the mould as they can. I don't think they'll preview classic Magneto until after this first one is oot.
>>8898745Can't wait to have her pooping on my figures.
>>8897389But aren't they using guns that don't look like real guns? I'm pretty sure guns that look like toys (Deadshot's for example) are OK.
>>8898915Aside from a few of Bloodsport's presumably extensive armory, not really. Some are maybe a bit exaggerated, like Peacemaker's pistol, but otherwise they're just guns
>>8898754She could give them black eyes and claim she was raped too! Oh what a fun pretend land.
Anywhere still taking preorders on mando and magneto ?
>>8900038Just wait till they release.
Why can’t I find the Superman anywhere
>>8900269Cause it's the only good Superman figure released in years, everyone wants it
>>8900038Amiami still has Magneto, not MandoI agree with >>8900140 though
I'm so sick of these delays fucking with all my AmiAmi shipments.
>>8897032If I had to guess, more cultural engineering, removing guns from all properties means stigmatising it in the minds of the general population. This'll translate to mroe gun loss for more figures and IPs as we go further on transitioning to the real world more and more.tl;dr expect more gun seizures from toys and from you in the future.
>>8897199I'm not a fan of the Joker, but god damn that's a dynamic figure.
>>8900662Take your medication please.
Yes please take your meds lol
>>8900972>uses a name.
>>8900662I mean we're already at the mass shooting once a week phase. Funny how that started back up right when Joe entered office....
>>8897032>>8896699>A high quality Thomas Wayne figure is a never ever now I gotta settle for Mcfartlane....
>>8901157What? You know It started back up once your country started mass reopening...everyone else can see that.
>>8898557>Yeah, that's the reason I think they're doing him first. If they do classic magneto first, then no one would buy AoA magneto. Most likely. For some reason, I kind of like ol' long-haired, AoA Magneto, even though I had dipped out of comics by that point.
>>8902453Nyah. They're full of shit and they know it. Just chud dumbfucks trying to make up an excuse for why "get woke, go broke" didn't work yet again.
>>8903003>Imagine being such a faggot you openly defend wokeness. You type like a middle aged white woman.
>>8903003You have to admit that leaving the woke shit aside the movie was still garbage, even by cape movies standards.
>>8903003>chud dumbfucksYou tell 'em, girl!
>>8893912I decided to go with the Dark Knight Triumphant, thanks for the input guys. If I like this one enough I may get Hush too
>>8898745>>8898751They really should have painted the cleavage.
>>8904161Lmao wtf, the left is how they ship?
>>8904153Dude probably coomed on it. In fact, that's a great way to tell a pre-owned vs new figure lol
>>8903003Remember to leave some wine for your furbabies, sweaty.
>>8902356Florida was closed for like 3 weeks & I didn’t see any mass shootings there
>>8904161>>8904156>>8904153I want a knight mare mommy mera
>>8904153She looks like a bitch even in toy-form. Like she'll Karen her little heart out.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Kaine please?
>>8903057>>8903059>>8903382>>8904635Cry more little nerds.>>8903278Wasn't the most amazing thing ever, but I found it entertaining enough and the fact it (and Brie Larson) have made so many sad little boys so pissed off years later justifies its existence all on its own.
>>8904989Looks like that guy was spot on with the middle aged woman remark.
>>8901157We're not you retard, mass shootings barely happen, they just get over-reported by the media to continue to push a narrative of "guns bad, give up guns" when in reality this doesn't happen in pro gun areas. Most mass shootings happen in gun prohibited zones by people who get them illegally. >>8900950I wish you trannies would fuck off back to bunkerchan and stop shitting up the board.
>>8904989Men don't find you attractive. >>8905019I'm aware of all those things you just said. In fact my insinuation was a more subtle way of saying exactly what you just typed out. Thanks for beating everyone over the head with it I guess, but I absolutely agree with you. The only reason the news is reporting on these mass shootings once a week is to drum up anti gun rhetoric since it's back to business as usual for the Dems. Gotta bomb Syria, amirite?
>>8904795>She looks like a bitch even in toy-formThat just makes it hotter.
whats the best way to store these so the cape doesn’t get fucked up i want to get one but the cloth capes have been holding me back is it at least easy to replace the capes?
I dipped my Bats in warm water to loosen up the joints and it did this to the cape. Any way for me to fix it or should I contact Mafex for a replacement?
>>8906996Nah it's probably donezo. Send Mafex an email and they'll hook you up. Just say it was a QC issue and came like that
>>8905019>I wish you trannies would fuck off back to bunkerchan and stop shitting up the board.Fairly sure they're Chapo refugees.
>>8907012>Send Mafex an email and they'll hook you up.Firstly, anon is mega-retarded to have dunked a wired cloth-cape in hot water.Secondly, Mafex is not cool like that. They *may* send a replacement part, maybe, but it will 100% on your dime and will be DHL. Have fun dummy.
>>8906996Why the fuck would you dip it in hot water instead of using blow drier why wouldnt you keep the cape out the water what thefuck anon
>>8906996WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS
>>8906996>>8907123>>8907163>>8907177Why did water do this? Is that glue or something?
>>8907163>>8907177He probably collects NECA, and did it on auto-pilot.
>>8907185I collect neca and have always used blowdryer this is retardation
>>8906829bump pls help
>>8907227Literally just lay the cape flat behind the figure and store it in a cool, dry space. I don't do anything special besides making sure the cape isn't flared out all over the place.
>>8906996stick to Hasbro and NECA
>>8907244thank you for response
>>8906996I think it looks good, like extra battle damage XD
>>8906996Thats fucking hilarious that you decided to soak the cloth cape
>>8908178Is it fixed anon?
>>8912699I was asking how to store mafex figures so the cape doesn’t get messed up im not hot water anon
>>8906996This is the funniest fucking shit what the fuck what was your thought process?
Make this >>8906996 the next OP image, please.
>>8907185>>8908059Mafex is literally japanese word for NECA
>>8906996did you cleanyour desk with it aswell?
