Anyway, that's all for now. Still looking for that damn yellow spartan helmet.

My MOTU Battle Ram arrived this afternoon. Here's the Heroic Warriors Flying Corps... and Fisto.
And here's everything you get in the Battle Ram box.
>>8757918Ya. I got it from EB (in the discount bin) about that many years ago. It around on my shelf still I really started photographing toys. Now I wish I had bought 2 more. - great for Joes as well. I also got a LotR Treebeerd. wich I had gotten another one or two more of those as well.
>>8757974Damn.. could you imagine a Mortal combat wave of Megas?
>>8758017Well, it is the had of Skeletor's staff.
>>8758892>could you imagine a Mortal combat wave of Megas?Yesss
>>8757957In its original packaging so if it's actually a bootleg I will gladly live in blissful ignorance
>>8757974>>8758892>>8758968And not just mini-figures either, big they actually have sets where you can build the different stages/areas! That would be cool! And maybe there’d be “Classic” sets and “Modern” sets? Like, there might be one set that’s based off of one of the Pits, and maybe the kombatants for that set would be Scorpian and Sub-Zero? Maybe have a few Oni or zombie mini-figures as well, to go at the bottom of the Pit?
>>8759245It’d be sweet, but I feel like a set of figures from a weapons based fighter would make more sense. If given a choice of anything, I’d go with Street Fighter, but I think something like Soul Calibur would make the most sense.
>>8759245Yeah Anon, it'd be cool.Shao Khan would look great next to Skeletor.
>>8759245 Somehow I'm just sad now - because this is probably not gonna happen. I wish Mega would go back and either developed their own New IP s or did more with their older ones. small Vikings and Beyonder sets. with rovers n drones for the one and small shacks, - blacksmith shops etc that could come with 1 or 2 figures. or like a hunter and boar/stag/mount or even a modernized version of Alien Agency - with biuldable Alien craft as well.
>>8759451One can only hope.
>>8759451Speaking of Megs what-ifs, do we have any idea when we’ll get some news? If this were a normal year Toyfair would be soon.
>>8759506I think what I hope for more is a drop in price and slight improvement with 3d printing. It's really the only way "niche" stuff can be produced in any amount.
DAY 73WE ARE FORGOTTEN
>>8760051I haven't forgotten them.I wonder what building set they're going to come with. Based on its upcoming Origins release and inclusion in Hot Wheels, the highest-priority evil vehicle is the Land Shark. They could also be the pack-ins for a mass release Battle Bones. Two figures is unlikely to be enough for Snake Mountain and they're not a thematic fit for the only small vintage environment after Point Dread, the Slime Pit.
>>8760168Ohh shit, I hope they do the slime pit. They even already have the slime ready for it!
>>8760192They sure do.They also showed off Hordak (toy colors) and Slime Zombie He-Man back in August.
>>8760051There’s still a bunch of figures to be releases, hopefully within this year
>>8760051>>8760312Masters of the Universe has been my favorite theme to collect, waiting for these has been absolute hell. Roboto, Webstor, Clawful, Hordak, Whiplash and Ram Man are absolute must haves. But my understanding is that image isn't so much "official" as it is figures they'd like to get around to?I'm holding out hope for Mosquitor, Clamp Champ, Horde villains and a breakout beast style Granamyr.
hey, does anyone have those tubs of parts you can get? I'm think about getting one with four hundred eighty pieces.
>>8760782I have both. Get the other one, the 790 one.The price per brick is about the same, but you also get one more nice colour (marbled light grey), more of everything, and some nice translucent "ice" and "fire/lava" extra plate pieces for details.
>>8760312If they’re doing the slime pit about the same size as point dread I think the it makes sense for it to come with slime zombie he man, hordak and either webstor/clawful or a random heroic warrior. Stuff like black zodak, anti eternia he man, pink teela and man at arms (el mustachio) are blatant hero series fodder
>>8760804I can't find that one from a good seller on Amazon. I don't have a credit card, so I need to ask my mom to buy stuff online for me (i'm nineteen before anyone ask).
>>8760821Oh, don't get me wrong. The 480 one isn't bad - especially when you can get them for a nice price. I paid 17 € for one when I bought them a few weeks ago. It's just that the 790 one is better when you can get it for the same price per brick, and you usually can.
>>8760829which one did you get? the probuilders or wonder builders tub?
>>8760836The pro builders one (GJD25 and GJD26). I already have several thousand generic bricks in "normal" colours everyone - Lego, Cobi, Q-Bricks and so on - is producing, so I didn't need more of it.
>>8760808Teela has already had two Heroes series releases. Not even sure why they showed Duncan when he was an old Heroes release by that time (though the next wave does include Scare Glow again). When a figure has more than one well-known deco, they seem to like releasing the toy-accurate version in a construction set and the variant in Heroes: Wind Raider Skeletor with purple boots rather than bare feet, Mustache-At-Arms in the Heroes line and no mustache in construction sets, Tri-Klops with the Battle Ram vs. mini-comic Tri-Klops in the leaked Heroes wave, mini-comic Roboto in the same Heroes wave, Zodac with Point Dread vs black Zodak in this preview, toy-accurate Mer-Man with Roton vs his media head in this preview...So after the leaked wave, we could see:Buzz-Off/Clawful/Whiplash/Mer-Man/Zodak waveRed and orange Ram-Man/Anti-Eternia He-Man/Webstor/Filmation Hordak/? waveVehicle (or Battle Bones) with toy-colors Roboto and India SkeletorVehicle (or Battle Bones) with red and green Ram Man and Trap-Jaw v3 (black where the Heroes release is Filmation magenta)Slime Pit with toy-colors Hordak and Slime Zombie He-Man

Has anyone found the new Halo Heros in store yet? They're starting to pop up on ebay.
>>8760312I'm ready for old man.
>>8761192I literally just got a Blushwing at my local Walmart today. She's glorious - just waiting for her to finish drying out so her plastic clears up (which, incidentally, the person who took that pic clearly DIDN'T do.) A wonderful addition to my Breakout Beasts/Crystal Creatures collection. Just a note - she comes with TWO separate slime bags in her egg with her parts distributed between them, rather than just the usual single pouch.
>>8761779They have been selling series 12 in mexico for like a month.
>>8760312I'm sorry is that mo-larr?!
>>8761779Yeah my local Walmart just put them out the other day. I grabbed the trailblazer, brute chieftain, and the elite warlord
>>8760808>>8760864>>8761797>>8761830If you watched the Power Con 2020 video, many of these are just mock ups or wish list tier characters with no intended or guaranteed release. The Mer-Man in particular was actually the prototype for the figure we ended up getting before they changed the head to resemble the Mer-Man toy instead of the Alcala art, and is in no way a figure that will be released, according to that video anyhow. Same applies to Mo-Larr and Eldor. I believe those prototypes were made to paraphrase "push the limits" as far as parts reuse and kitbashing for obscure characters.I really love this line, but if you're holding out hope to see all of these get released, I'd advise against it. Though I do recall them saying Webstor is something that an official product would look like, while someone like Clawful or Ram-Man would definitely end up looking different. I do recall some optimism about Hordak in particular though.
>>8760312during the Q&A they said some of these were just goofs made to fill out a battle scene, but that they have plans to make all of themthat said, I want a Hordak, Clawful, Ram-man, Whiplash, and a Merman without needing a vehicleIdeally they would do more 200X-inspired designs, but I'm not hopeful
Holy fuck, just found Trap Jaw. He comes in a plastic Skeletor head with a couple of mini builds that aren't stingy on parts. He's got a weapon turret with a much better projectile launcher design than the Roton got, and a display screen with a really good space scene printed across two tiles. His jaw works, and he's got a bunch of arm accessories. The gun, claw, and hook from the original toy, and a fly swatter. I'mma just let that last one sink in.
>>8761800Wait, she doesn't look like that? Too bad, I really like the look of the semi-opaque plastic in >>8761192. Can you take a pic of yours once it clears up?
>>8761979She'll actually look like her render. I own Polarpearl, Fairya, and several breakout beasts who all have clear parts, and they started out looking opaque; due to the rubbery, porous material they use to make them, the plastic actually absorbs moisture from the slime they're packaged in, resulting in condensation building up inside the microscopic air bubbles and making it look foggy. When it's had enough time to sufficiently dry out (a few days to a week, tops), the condensation evaporates and the plastic becomes its intended clear coloration.
>>8761994For reference, here's the pic of my Fairya that I posted a while back. When I got her, the glittery transparent parts were actually the same shade as her belly; after about 5 days, she turned clear and her actual, emerald coloration became visible. She now looks exactly like her official render. Same deal with pretty much every CC/BB with clear parts - they just need a little time to fully dry out.
>>8762005Even MORE reference, this is my Blushwing right now as she sits on my desk; when dry, she'll be the same color as her wingtips/toes/shoulder joints. Since the wings weren't packaged in the slime (for once - it seems they're learning that that's what causes warping) and the joints and toes are made of a harder, nonporous material, they don't absorb any of the moisture like the rest of her body does. I'll post another pic in a few days, when she's dried off properly. And that's your science lesson for the night.
>>8762030I wonder, are the studs/holes on these compatible with generic brick accessories from Mega Construx (... or Cobi, Lego, ...)? In other words, can I put brick-build guns in there instead of wings, for example?
>>8762030I stopped at my local Walmart today and they didn’t have any mega construx at all, they stopped carrying the whole brand. If you’re still lurking this thread anon is there any way you could pick up a Blushwing for me? I’ll pay shipping + finders fee
>>8762030Haven't seen any of the wave 3 either, but would you kindly share codes if you have them handy?
>>8758626Battle Ram is a 10/10 set, love the vehicle and Tri Klops surprised me with the rotating visor. What I don’t get is the alternate head for the vehicle, whats up with that? Did the original have it?
>>8763086I have never seen those anywhere near me. Just breakout beasts. Picked up series 6 today. They have slime launchers and other weird mods this time
>>8763137In the MotUC line the Battle Ram release had the snake head while the single release Jet Sled had the Gryphon head. It's like the Filmation Sled when the villains had them.
>>876313249TC - Blushwing52TC - Venusky51TC - Florette50TC - Flutteris53TC - Cocoalux54TC - Nightbeam55TC - SnowpeachIncidentally, anyone else notice that Crystal creatures seems to have vanished from the main site's products page, along with the teaser for Breakout Beasts Series 6?
>>8763086>>8763132>>8763172>>8763475Scalpers bought them all up
>>8763137As >>8763172 said, it's a Filmation invention. When they wanted single-person aircraft for the Evil Warriors, they put them on Sky Sleds with a different head from the toy.Why not put them in Rotons? Well to Filmation, that was a 2+ seat vehicle, unlike the toy..
>>8763578Likewise they enlarged the Wind Raider from the toy, as the vehicle for flying 2-4 heroes to an adventure site.
>>8763475I still see series 6, but you seem to be right about no more Crystal Creatures. Perhaps wave 3 is where the series ends. I've never seen wave 2 either, sadly.

>>8763719They're out there. I'm actually seeing those all over the reject walmarts
>>8763719I found these like a month back along with some breakout beasts spitters, I regret only getting Trap Jaw and not just buying all 3 Skeletor skulls at once. Now I can't find them anywhere, can only find the Halo heads which I don't care for.

>>8764092How's that grape alien looking now, anyway? should be starting to clear up in some places. Blushwing's horns have already more or less turned transparent, and the edges of her cheek fluff, tip of her nose, and a few other spots on her body and legs are already beginning to un-fog. Surely your xenomorph is starting to look clear by now, right?>>8763086I actually did go looking for you today, anon. Unfortunately, there aren't any more Wave 3 eggs there now (There were only 3 when I grabbed mine, and it seems someone bought the last two). All they have now are a few Wave 1s and 2 Wave 2s (and no Breakout Beasts at all - Lego has moved in and taken over their shelf. Again.). It might be possible for you to check their website and see if there's any in stock at a store near you - either that, or you might be able to buy a batch from there directly, though it'll be luck of the draw.
>>8764224Fun fact, buying breakout beasts from mega directly is physically impossible as their “store” is just a version of brickseek

I obsessively collect Spartans. Only Spartans, I don't care about any other figures. And I only care about the super articulated ones.My collection is not complete, but it's pretty damn good. No duplicates in here, but there is one figure I made out of spare parts. A thousand dollars in noprize if you spot it.Anyone else hoard collections of very specific Mega Construx things and care to share a pic?
>>8766790Oh, I haven't forgotten them. I've still got my original Reignyth (though his electronics no longer work, sadly), Dark Crown, Iron Claw, and Serpentorch. I've been slowly reacquiring some of the others - Sunblot and Blazebasilisk, and a couple of the Battlemorphs. Only one Universe dragon, who's my little buddy that perches on my computer.>>8766792Hated these - the designs looked good, but lack of poseability and the factthat most of the dragons were stuck in a perpetual 'squatting, mouth open' pose was a bit of a turnoff. What a shame - I would have loved a properly poseable Questing Beast.
>>8766866I got the Martian Rover. The other sets are pretty expensive.
>>8766881Spare-tan is the one with the red arm? Don't have such a specific focus but here's my UNSC from about five years ago, really should get an up to date one made sometime but that last one already took hours just to set up...
>>8766917It drives me nuts how much more colorful the spartans were before they became super-articulated. At least with the halo infinite figures they're doing more color variations with limbs and forearms being different colors than just gray.

>>8774693That one of the new Wave 6 Breakout Beasts? I haven't even seen what they look like this time around, other than the three in the teaser on the website. Got any pics of the others? Looks like they're using the same slime gimmicks from Wave 5.
>>8771381Currently unknown, they just turned up on an eBay listing from China back in November

>>8775203Yeah, they're definitely reusing the gimmicks from the previous wave. Still, there's some good designs there - that freaky spider-dragon thing looks awesome, and that wyvern in the upper left looks like he'd pair well with Blushwing. Also, is that a new part on the enfield's wings in the lower right?
>>8774695Forgot to mention, that's the exact same slime Clobberclaw came with back in Wave 2. All of the older waves used metallic slime, then they changed over to clear/glittery slime. Now it seems they're alternating between the two.
>>8770160Never ever will we get Primal sets.
>>8775203Where are you guys even finding these
>>8775774Like, Genndy Tartakovsky’s “Primal”? Or something else?
>>8775203Just seeing their names now, and it looks liek they're all themed after planets, both in name and color; from upper left to bottom right: Solscorch (Sun), Chewpiter (Jupiter), Grymars (Mars), Venuvius (Venus), Tealium (Only one that doesn't fit, seems to be 'Helium' in place of Pluto), Mercurex (Mercury), Nepvolt (Neptune), Chronoturn (Saturn/Chronos), and Terrarize (Terra/Earth). Interesting.
>>8757715It's the original Blizzard figure from around 1998 when the game came out. There's also a second, better Hyrdra released in the same line but I've yet to get my hands on one

I know most of you guys don't care for this line but I wanted to note the crazy number of spare parts for this set. Feels like this has been trending in more recent Mega sets in general, anyone else noticed this?
>>8761979>Can you take a pic of yours once it clears up?As promised, here's Blushwing (mostly) cleared up, and she's even more beautiful in person - there's just a tiny bit of fog in the center of her head and thighs at this point, and that'll clear up once the weather in my area warms up a bit. Otherwise, you can see she's pretty much as translucent as her official render, and her joint and toe pieces are pretty much the same color as the rest of her now. Compare to my earlier pic >>8762030
>>8781795Thank you! While I do still have some attachment to the milky semi-opaque version, this is also beautiful! I wish I could actually find Crystal Creatures, I have never once seen one in the wild.
>>8781643Those would be cool. They could also do stuff based off of Hellboy (the original movie) and Hellboy 2, as well as the animated films. I know that the movies are sort of like a hodgepodge of the different comics, but there’s enough differences and original content to make other sets out of them.
>>8782149Honestly, if they just followed the models they’ve put in place for both MOTU and Halo/COD, Hellboy would be a great series to collect. From MOTU:>heads/Ogdru Jahad eggs with small building sets insideFrom Halo/COD>multi-figure grunt packs full of Zinco/Nazi/BPRD troops and scientists>small and medium terrain and mech sets with vehicles, crumbling ruins>large sets with monsters and larger vehicles or structuresThey could even re-use molds from COD for soldiers and weapons, continue re-using body molds from He-Man for the likes of Roger, Torch of Liberty (if Byrne would allow it), that Viking-possessed guy....
>>8782763Those would be awesome! It might even get me back into collecting again.
>>8781721what's the name of the line? I can't find any on Amazon.
>>8783873It's called Wonder Builders but that doesn't bring many of them up on Amazon. Their search engine isn't too helpful so I suggest googling specific sets for listings. Built the Utlimate City Fire Squad yesterday, haven't got pics but you can see it here:https://www.megabrands.com/en-ca/construction-toys/mega-construx/ultimate-city-fire-squadIt also had a fair amount of extra parts, though no large ones (two spare axe handles oddly). I really like the shiny red color they used, the builds are well designed and the firehouse itself is quite detailed for a facade-type building: bed and desk with computer screen on the top floor with pole to slide down; set of weights on the ground floor for off-duty exercising; awesome flag hanging over a nice printed door. Still haven't seen the Boot Camp around here but I'll probably pick up the fighter jet sometime soon. Even if you don't like the figs, the Tank is definitely worth getting, can serve as a light or medium tank in a CoD setting.
>>8783904Comes with three of these M16s that first appeared in the Terminator line, for added incentive.
>>8783904>>8783923thanks.
>>8783923The tank doesn’t look half bad. How does it scale with CoD figures? And are those stickers at the front?
>>8783904>>Don't Talk to Me or My Wife's Son Ever Again
>>8784038It's very much a light, maybe a medium tank relative to CoD figs (Not that most of their own vehicles are strictly to scale by any means). Those are prints, Mega has moved away from stickers, can't for the life of me remember the last set of theirs that had em. Tempted to say that not long after the first waves of Reach sets they had gone over to prints; maybe another anon has better memory but I feel like CoD never did stickers so that could be the turning point.
>>8781795It’s a shame these only got 3 waves, there were some nice parts and colors that the breakout beasts didn’t have
>>8784626Are we sure that we aren't getting another wave? I mean, yeah, they aren't listed on the official site anymore, but I don't recall anyone saying they're gone for good. Unless you heard something I didn't.
Late to the game but I just got the marine sniper. Absolutely excellent figures, one of the best Mega has done and great value for the price. I’ll army build the shit out of this one.
My 5-year-old just built this and I can’t tear it away from him to get a photo of it. It’s seriously good. The box becomes a ramp and a display stand, which is fantastic because he loves to save his boxes—and now there’s an actual use for one. Also, there’s enough clearance inside the car for one regular-sized MCX figure (the guy this came with is a midget).Anyway, fun easy build with a solid-feeling result.
>>8780920>>8780939All Breakout beasts come with 1 trans clear rod, other than that? Nope sorry
>>8785960The more muted and “military-like” colors look great
>>8784089Dame Edna gonna fuck you up. (unless that's the Queen or Margret Thatcher.)
Is Mega over? It feels like it's over.
>>8786082No.
>>8786082>It feels like it's over. How so? It’s as healthy as ever.
>>8770160>>8770172>>8770160>>8770461>>8771167>>8772143>>8772148>>8772153>>8772155>>8772159>>8772168>>8772170>>8772174These are all neat as fuck.
>>8786044Really hate that baby arm on the gugnir
>>8786082Anon, they keep putting out new Heroes and Halo blind bags on the regular. The "plastic head" sets are also brand new.We don't know what the next big construction sets will be, but the smaller MOTU Battle Ram set just reached e-tailers LAST MONTH.
>>8786076It's an old Robot Chicken clip.
>>8785960Female snipers in Halo will always remind me of The Babysitter. RIP Cal.
>>8782763Lobster Johnson would be especially easy to make too. All you'd have to do is re-release the ww2 cod pilot with a blue claw on his jacket.
I want to believe
>>8788108I keep seeing the MOTU figurines at 5 Below. Is the line even going still?
>>8788142Pics? The figures retail for 5 retail and I've seen plenty of the LEGO blind bags there. I'd say the "heroes" line of figures is selling fine but Point Dread I've seen at massive clearance at 2 of my walmarts.
I ended up getting a second Stinkor to make this guy>>8772473Thanks! I bought one
>>8788180Holy shit that's a gnarly figure
Lock downs are lifted in my area so TRU stores are open. My local had full sets of these waves. Anyone have the skull head Fisto? should I have gotten that instead of the regular release?
>>8790403The skull and halo heads are pretty cool, but does anyone else find them a bit overpriced?
>>8790403The Fisto included in the skull has no armor or weapon so I'd say you made the right call>>8790464The Halo ones have 2 figures which usually retail for 5 on their own so I'd say its a good price, but MOTU's are a little iffy. Smart anons will just wait on the heroes release of Trapjaw.
Mexicans fags walmart is having another big sale, got the skiff for 350 pesos
>>8791026>Smart anons will just wait on the heroes release of Trapjaw.Eh, I didn't wait, because the leak showed that Heroes Trapjaw is in a wave with mini-comic Tri-Klops. Mini-comic Tri-Klops, the Trapjaw in the skull, and barefoot Skeletor will get displayed together.
>>8790464In Canada, the regular figs are $6, the heads are $15. More than double the price for what you get is kinda bullshit. But I went for the Trap jaw since I figured it'll be a while before the blue version makes an appearance.
>>8791309Yeah it hurt a bit to pick up all three Spartan helmets at once, and the Marine Platoon while I was at it but they were largely gone by the time I hit them up again, so worth it I guess.>reminder that a few years ago pic related were $15 CAD, with Halo equivalents also at that price
>>8791348Even when they dropped a fig but kept the price, still felt better than where we're at now. Was an odd experience the first time I noticed the change, they had both versions together on the shelf at Walmart and I thought it had to be a mistake.
>>8791348>>8791361 This is what kind of leads me to despair at the idea of them making *affordable* Viking builder sets in the future. Also the over-priced Game of throne sets (which have dropped about $7 each)
>>8791348I'm just glad I went a bit nuts in the early days and got a bunch of each
>>8791833Is not the same, the got sets are overpriced as fuck because of the license, the vikings are oc
>>8790464Ten US bucks for a minifig with extra accessories and two decently sized mini builds isn't that bad.
Using parts from Dutch and an assassins creed character
Does anyone have any news or updates on some upcoming stuff for this year, specifically for Halo? Im feelin a little dry here.
>>8792296Not yet, but mega will hopefully do a toyfair announcement or something, like other companies have done.
>>8792296I've been trying to figure out what's with the drip feed. Either covid or poor sales.
>>8792296>>8792298They're doing something, apparently in March
>>8792320Waiting for the series 3 spoiler they mentioned considering 2 minis already leaked.
>>8786011Pic. Slightly smaller than Lego Street Racers and half the price, but just as fun.
>>8792901That doesn’t look to bad. Are the tires rubber? They look neat. Also, can you post a pic next to a cod or halo figure?
>>8792926Yep, rubber wheels. Doesn’t really fit any of the regular-sized guys simply due to the height of their torsos. But it works as a convertible.
>>8793172Hoping we get an Orko soon with those arms
>>8793172The chassis is a single piece, yeah?
>>8792296I feel like you Halo lot are somewhat lucky ducks, seems like new stuff trickles out every 2-3 months, with things occasionally sneaking out inbetween. Masters of the Universe and Call of Duty fans are punished.
>>8794146I just want Orko and She-Ra man
>>8791026>>8791053same, I wanted the green Trapjaw for a Frankenstein custom, and also I have enough blue muscly men on my display shelf
>>8794150I'm holding out hope for the likes of Webstor, Hordak, Spikor, Clawful, and the incredibly unlikely Mosquitor and Snout Spout. I'll call myself lucky if 1 of them gets released.
>>8794188I'd say Hordak is almost guaranteed. The only one I think they won't make is Mosquitor
>>8794150I just want SNAKE-MEN (all of them and the generic army builders)
>>8796319I never got the appeal of snake men, LEGO shits them out all the time in Ninjago. I wish we could have more skeletons.
>>8796323>>8796323MotU SnakeMEN > LEGO whatevers
>>8796355I absolutely concurI'd love to have king hssss in MCX scale
Motu is one of the best lines mega has done, but I need more CoD. I need my small army men fix. Hopefully we get some leaks soon.
>>8798310I know they've been talking about new CoD stuff in the pipe but considering how they've been hiding CoD's pages on their site and downright pretending they ever made German soldiers at all, hard not to feel like they're not all that interested in carrying on with it.
>>8798428*they never made
>>8796355let's get weird with them, I'm tired of all characters using the same body (I know that's how the original line ran, and it saves MCX money the same way)I hope the Revelations series has some cool designs, and that we get MCX figures from it
Really need more MCX Hellboy figures. If not other characters, then a version with swappable RHODs (open, closed, light grip).
>>8798683That would actually be in line with the original toy line, since pretty much all of the snake men had unique bodies to accommodate their gimmicks.I'm guessing that they will do Rattler like Mechaneck.
Guys the pelican is $50 off right now on Amazon. I bought one, just giving you all a heads up.
Anyone care to convince me why to get Point Dread or Roton?only thing holding me back is wanting the inevitable origins versions coming out.
>>8799656Nice. I also bought one when it was $50 off on Amazon Canada, built it the other day and now I'm waiting for a 2x3 wedge plate from their parts replacement cuz it came with an extra of the wrong orientation and I can't finish one of the rear engines yet. I did get an email confirmation of my order, can't remember if they've sent me one for the last few times but I've always gotten my parts after a week or three. The Pelican itself is a beautiful build, the landing gear mechanism is neat and I like that it can be broken down for easier storage. Wish they'd gone with more of a folding rear ramp than the steeply angled one but that's a minor gripe.
>>8799495Aye. Fuckin want a Kroenen so bad
>>8799725Nice, I am just glad to be able to get my hands on one I could afford now. I didnt have money when the older ones were coming out. This one even looks better then the older sets too.
>>8799689 I’m sure they both have their merits. I’ve got the MCX versions of both and they’re great—especially Roton’s spinning feature. Point Dread is really worth having if you’ve got the MCX Grayskull—and if you don’t have the MCX Grayskull, you should get on that.Personally, I’m just buying Origins figures that appeal to me from my childhood while buying up every release of MCX MOTU that I can get for MSRP or less because they’re super fun, work with my other MCX stuff, and take up less space overall.
>>8799656I wonder if it it sells well. I always see it discounted.
>>8799495>>8799782I'd cum
Battle Cat! Looks alright.
>>8802177Oh cool! Looks about the same size as the Origins figure.
>>8798428It’s odd. I thought they removed them because mega didn’t want to advertise an adult line in their kiddie site, but GoT is 10 times worse and it’s right there
>>8802464I hadn't noticed that they'd unlisted their sets with Germans until I went looking for them specifically last month. One can find them on Mattel's service site but otherwise they pretty much don't exist as far as Mega is concerned.https://m.service.mattel.com/us/Technical/productDetail?prodno=FVG04&siteid=27The only reference left on Mega's site is this Axis Officer from the Checkpoint Charge set, either overlooked or left alone due to just being a lone fig, whereas the other two sets with distinct enemies had four and eight Germans respectively (not counting the first landing craft set that had an implied enemy soldier, aka a GI with black uniform and helmet). Guess they figured "Axis" was non-specific enough that the guy could be a sattelite nation soldier or something. It really must be at the heart of their about-face on CoD, considering they had this awesome Panzer IV set coming and then suddenly canceled without explanation (not my cap, someone in a previous thread shared).
>>8803500Meant to link the Axis Officer:https://www.megaconstrux.com/en-us/call-of-duty/figures/wwii-axis-officer
>>8803507>https://www.megaconstrux.com/en-us/call-of-duty/figures/wwii-axis-officerLooking at the set reminds me of Stripes. They need a "masterbuild" with the intercontinental ballistic Winnebago and two girl soldiers.
>>8803500I heard it was planned as a TRU exclusive but was canceled when they folded
>>8803729Well that's stupid. They could have sold it at TRU in Canada and Target or Wally World in the US.
>>8803729Source? TRU's meltdown started in late 2017 and concluded early 2018; 2018 was the year we got the sets with Germans so the timing is about right. Still, like the other anon pointed out, they could've released it under different conditions. When the Halo line was just a year or so old they were doing Target-exclusive "Red Team" sets but as this was before Target made its brief foray up here, the sets were released in Canadian Walmarts. Can anyone identify any CoD set that was a definite TRU exclusive? The Halo line did a number of them over the years but I can't think of a CoD set, other than perhaps the Legacy Heroes 16-pack that could've been one (never found it in stores, only Amazon), though again things might've been different in the US.The DFE'ing of the two German soldiers sets is too much of a coincidence though, something deeper is going on.
>>8803844Just adding to this, they're not included in the instructions section of Mega's site either (you can get them from the Mattel link in earlier post) but apparently you could put through a parts request using the set's code (FVG04 for the Enemy Soldiers troop pack); didn't finalize a request, just put in the code to see if it recognized the set and it seemed to. Anyone want to bet it's a case of a "concerned mother" bitching about Nazi toys?
>>8803967>>8803969>>8803971Them’s pretty neato, anon.
>>8803844>>8803844A mega designer (kevin) confirmed they did it as a tru exclusive, but tru passed on it and they shopped to other retailers and no one wanted it. I have the screen cap of his answer on the mega site, but have to look for it. Sets are not just made and send to stores for sale, they’re offered to stores by mega and the stores have to order those specific sets.
>>8803844The taskforce figure set and the hovercraft were tru exclusives as well. At least in the us.
New MOTU boys!! New figs (Orko) and toys for your toys(1/4)
>>8804763(2/4)
>>8804769(3/4)
>>8804770(4/4)
>>8804763>>8804769These look really fun. Really cool advent calendar.
>>8804769I was just coming to see if this was already here. I love it, definitely gonna pick it up. >>8804770I hope we keep seeing these tiny figs, they could open up a whole new world of micro sets.
>>8804769This just reminds me they have so many more vehicles and characters to go. It’d be really rad if they would re-release Battle Bones for the GP.
>>8804770>super micro>you can see some articulation therewew
>>8804769This is so cool, He-Man's got a different logo than the usual. >ORKOManny's a weird inclusion unless something happened to the next wave of MCX heroes>mini battle bones for the micro figures to clip intoMiniatures of almost every vehicle and playset is amazing, I'm going to build an eternia playset now.A bunch of the mini vehicles have printing.I'm not a shill when I say that this is a lot better than LEGO's. MCX keeps knocking it out of the park for me making everything I want.
Bros...
>>8804839I assume it's just sculpted in. >>8805227Good chance to grab them if interested.
>>8805227I now have 2 Mark I, 3 Skyfire, and all the Breacher Exosuits I could find because of that sale.
>>8805227I bought them all.
Dumping some hire quality images after using inspect element. Looks like we'll get some green versions of the castle grayskull weapons.https://www.instagram.com/p/CLt_5Ibg2IQ/
>>8806177>"He-Man, is only game. Why you heff teh be so mäd?"
>>8806186431 pieces so it's going to retail for either 40 or 50. I'm pretty happy with that considering everything here.
>>8806173"Merry Christmas! You get a sword! AND AN AXE!"
>>8806314I can imagine the green weapons will all be for one day but idk what the fuck the battle ax and Mekaneck's club are doing there
>>8804763That tiny Roton is too fucking cute. Kinda wish Skeletor had a santa hat or some other festive touch to him besides just the candy cane staff.
>>8804779Holy shit, micro scale could open the doors for some sets of truly epic proportions.
>>8806620>Kinda wish Skeletor had a santa hat or some other festive touch to himHe could have had his canon Christmas accessory.
tried modeling a 200X sword for my MCX He-Man, fingers crossed it doesn't snap the hand when the print arrives
