Got my Alien 40th wave 3 in. Ash is great! Likeness is wonderful and he's a full new figure with the new hips. The new Kane head looks great too, it's nice that he comes with the facehuggered head and melted helmet too. The Big Chap is just the Ult with a foggier dome I think. He'll stay in the nice packaging since I'm good with the Ultimate.

His hip joints were WAY too tight, they're normal ball joints but they felt like tight ratchet joints so I put some dish soap on them. They're still tight but they don't feel like they'll break anymore.Kane and Ash both have a right leg SLIGHTLY long than the left just like 90% of my NECA figures so and it's getting really annoying how their figures cannot get legs that are equal in height. Usually it's not the worst thing ever because I just pose my figures in a contrapposto stance, but with characters like Ash being an android I want him standing straight up. Same with characters like Jason and Michael Myers. It's just really annoying this is a consistent issue.But overall, paint is great, the face printing is great too. I like the figures. Good figures, not perfect but good.

My Doc Brown came in from Walmart.com today! He's perfect. Just perfect. Figure is a little "stiff" to pose cause of the jacket, but the likenesses are spot on, good paint. He's got some fun paper accessories like the flux capacitor drawing, the letter from Marty, and blueprints of the mansion.

It swaps fine now. The goggles slip on under the face when you have it popped off. You just have to gently get the strap around the ears into the groove and around the sculpt of the back of the head under the hair. I used a toothpick to help push it along.

Hello there, anon who is on the fence about NECA and came to this thread looking to see if you should take the plunge:Don't.Seriously, don't do it. NECA has the worst quality control I have ever seen in a high end figure toy company. What is high end? Well, it means that it's a toy that is typically more expensive that standard companies that produce similar products. For example, NECA would be comparable to say, Hasbro. They both make figures that are similar in scale, with similar qualities in sculpt. However, NECA has far superior sculpting, but on the downside, the articulation takes a hit , and the QC is garbage. Oh, and they charge about $10 more than their equivalent, on average. They aren't the MOST expensive high end toy company, but they ARE the biggest waste of your money. Now, don't let their product description fool you. Some NECA products will boast they have up to 30 points of articulation, possibly more. That's a lie. The figures are nowhere near that articulate. Oh sure, they POTENTIALLY have that much articulation, but good luck utilizing all of it, since there will be things on the figure (like armor or clothing pieces) that will get in the way. So yeah, most of your NECA figures are gonna either be standing stalk-still, like scarecrows, or with their knees slightly bent.So what's all this about NECA's QC? Is it a meme? Is it blown out of proportion? No, it isn't . Even NECA's fucking supporters have recommended using a hairy dryer on certain NECA figures before trying to pose them. What other fucking toy line have you EVER had to do that with?And why do they recommend that? Well, it's because the joints are so tight, that if you try to move it at all, to change the pose, your figure will likely break. And NECA supporters have a few excuses for this, like "Dude, just blowdry your figures for a few seconds, lol" or "You OBVIOUSLY hamhanded your toy"These are just delusional excuses. The product is shit.
