https://weibo.com/u/6345384823?is_all=1This E-Monster Taobao shop has been working on their range of original Powered Suits with original Dianauts, featuring a wide range of armaments and attachable armor. There's a lot of material on their design and details on their weibo. Estimated launch of the sets is Jan 2021.They previously made various 3D Print accessories and kits for Diaclone Reboot and collaborated with MFT for a few releases.
>>8576711Even their og Dianauts will have attachable equipment.

So the people who are saying that the Snapships are going on clearance, where do you live?I've gone to my Targets and they're all either full priced, but they were on sale last week.Never fund the exclusive dropship though. I guess online only?
>>8576991I lumped Hardcore Mecha with Robot Build because their only licensed modular toy was that Roundhammer from almost 2 years ago, also released by Earnest Core. Other Hardcore Mecha toys are mostly completed figures like your RDs.Junkbots gained some momentum last month so I included them. Mechanic Studios' original mechs, Stellar Knights aren't very modular so I'm not sure about including them. Also they want to distance this franchise from the MFT Brand.
>>8577021yeah, the list is just in alphabetical order.I arrange them either by their toylines or brand names if they do more than 1 modular toyline.
>>8576940Yea, lots of Archecode stuff got announced. It's about damn time.
>>8577074Did they change the name to ArchecoRe or is it to differentiate it from the 1:18 scale line?
>>8577088They didn't actually show any of the 1/18 stuff, but I assume some will still come. One of the characters (or just in similar armor) fits in with Krivo's team. The 1/35 stuff looks really fun, but I'd guess the price will ramp up real quick, and with space ever being a constraint, probably better to stick to fewer of the bigger items. Also some new stuff from Astrobots, Athena and Artemis are now Q2 2021, and there are 2 new big guys, Hyperion and Saturn (a retool of Vulcan). Also some new AFRS stuff, including armour and weapon sets for them.
>>8577088Oh, look at that. Maybe they changed it, I thought it may have just been referencing the modular stuff like the fort and vehicles but who knows lol
>>8577074>>8577088I’m guessing the bases and vehicles are modular? Because everything else about this line seems bleh.>>8577375>Toilet botHoly FUCK yes
>>8577074>>8577088oh, nice, I saw >>8569096 but had no idea it was a larger line. Pretty excited for this, love the designs
>>8578514I dunno about that. Feels like knock off space marines but they might actually get decent figures.
Tamotu looks good in Robot Build colors (just a custom obviously and it’s not even out yet)Oh and pink bunny
>>8576544>>8576553>>8576557Ugh, I really don't want to invest in another line but these things are SO cool.Looking forward to their exo-suits/vehicles.
>>8577375>They didn't actually show any of the 1/18 stuff, but I assume some will still come. Looking fwd to seeing how this line develops, but I really like what I see so far
They are about 2.5in tall
>>8585001That is an impressive looking setup with a ton of parts. I imagine despite the size, these will still be pretty pricey.
>>8585015>That is an impressive looking setup with a ton of parts. I imagine despite the size, these will still be pretty pricey.indeed, pricing on this line is going to be an eye opener

How about the og modular robots (androids?) Micronauts?
Just curious, but is there a KO for Diaclone's Battle Buffalo? I'm asking because I'm buying one from someone on TFW for $80 with just an adapter piece missing and a damaged box. I don't think this is a "Too good to be true" scenario, but I just want to make sure.
>>8596612No KOs. MFT gave up KOing the larger mechs just after Dai Battles V2, they didn't even bother doing the whole repaint-a-rino with that mold.
>>8597417
>>8597421
>>8597424
>>8596612>>8596632Anon buying Battle Buffalo back, just want to ask you guys one more question. $150 Shipped is a good price for Battle Buffalo (just missing an adapter piece for alternate heads) and a complete Triverse Triambler, right?
got dang versriser vol 2 sold out everywhere already so i had to pre order the cosmo marines color one just so i can have all 3
I have just picked up these. What am I in for, anons? What's the general opinion on 30MMs? I know they're pretty low end modular kits, but still seem like they could be fun.
>>8597476Yeah that's a good purchase. People are scalping Battle Buffalos since they sold out.
>>8599735Lotsa fun for the price point!
>>8599735Seems interesting but the distro sucks.
>>8597426>>8597417Man, Diaclone reboot started with such awesome battle suits designs, I haven't anything past the initial wave, these designs are just so random and bleh
>>8604566Yeah, as much as I love Diaclone the colors can be completely dogshit. They need to establish a limited “brand palette” and stop with these gaudy random mashups. “Destroyer” is the only consistent scheme they’ve come up with so far (except “Marine”), even their “hero color” reds/blues don’t match.
>>8604608Hmm maybe they saw my post just now lol >>8604596
>>8604608This kills me inside. I've yet to get any of the Triver Diaclones so these recolour reissues are nice. But the new Tridasher is in a red sunburst colour scheme while these two are in the original Tridasher colour scheme. And the original Tridasher is sold out nor can I find a good place with reasonable price in Aus. My matching squad member autism is raging.
>>8604614If you want to play the long game... buy the red one and don’t open it, wait for it to sell out so eBay prices go up, then take a profit and use it to buy the blue one
>>8604614>>8604624Otherwise you could start building a red team
>>8604613Both of these new ones come with lady dianauts
>>8604628Getting a feeling the other 2 Trivers up on preorder will get a red sunburst version as well but would be exclusive. And I'm fucked in terms of exclusive products here in Aus.

Anyone know when HLJ will be stocking preorders for these? Need to know so I can decide whether or not to ship my Private Warehouse out for Christmas
>>8612965Oniflame was released early October in China, while Battle Type 5 was early November. You could compare with HLJ's release date for Oniflame and estimate from that I suppose.

>>8612987HLJ's saying Oct for the Oni Flame. Decided to ship all my available out anyways, won't sting the wallet too badly. Cheers!
>>8606487Pretty sure all the trivers have come with one male and one female dianaut all my trivers have lady pilots
>>8615314>dang these are impressiveLooking to see how these turn out, sculpts impressive at this scale
>>8615314What’s this set called
>>8621096Looks like Snapships.
>>8615314I went to target to see if they had any TFs I wanted in stock, and ended up picking up the Trident because they didn't but they had a few sets of it on the shelf. It's an insanely good value. Twenty bucks for a nice amount of pieces with three official configurations.
>>8599735Sturdier and less floppy than Koto’s Frame Arms, but options can be limited. Granted, Frame Arms has the advantage of their modeling supply goods side-line where you can get things like “realtype”, anime, and “super robot” heads to change things up.While 30MM does give you options, since they’re all designed with the same aesthetic, all combos still tend to look “same-y”, which isn’t bad if that’s what you’re looking for
Love you
>>8623472Love you too
>>8623472>>8623663Theese look gorgeous, what's the scale? I wanna put diaclone pilots in them

kind of a shot in the dark, but does anyone here know if the JoyToy mechs (Steelbone series in particular) have knockoffs? Or am I safe buying them from Aliexpress?

I honestly might be in love with these things, last time a toy impressed me this much was one of the newer Zoids, and not to the same level as these. Not expensive, good pieces, and really solid. Hope they hold up over time (my old Zoids Blox haven't too well but their connections aren't as sturdy as these), but I'll definitely be getting more.

I somehow missed how RIHIO's MM005 has a transformation gimmick into some VTOL flyer thing. The way the mecha head is enveloped in a glass cockpit makes sense now. This is my custom config of that mode.
Still can’t get into this guy
>>8647024
>>8649386

>>8650992
I've been narrowly focused on 30MM since I've been looking into gunpla these past few weeks. Any other similar kit series? It seems nice and cheap, good market. To me a regular gunpla is fine and looks cool after you've built it, but with 30MM it's like lego mechs you can customise endlessly and play with, way better than some crappy thing like bionicle.
>>8645258Good news anon! If you win their weibo lucky draw you stand to win 10 sets of RYUAN and a CCP-approved Nintendo Switch!

>>8653026I just shipped my HLJ preorder of both black and white. Marut Toys also put up a drawing for the pair on their Twitter.Honestly, I was just going to do a vanilla build of them, but all of the customs and varying colors have me jonesing for an airbrush.

https://weibo.com/7538594500/JzE1MvpmFNew Chinese company called "Fresh Retro" launching a line of modular bases called Scene-In-Box (SIB) in late January 2021. 6 six sets ranging from 500 RMB to 180 RMB
>>8656073Part list from one of the smaller sets. Stickers provided too
>>8656075Supports 1:24 to 1:18 scale figures according to the weibo. And since they are modular you can chain them up together for a big base.
>>8656080Anyone know what scale figure this is that they using for their stock pics?I kinda have doubts about their advertised scales. Generic parts like the corridors and walls would obviously work with any scale as long as you have enough parts, but things like stairs and railings will look odd.
They are out.
looking through these threads, i never get the sense that these are modular, except the OP image. they all just look like they are contiguous figures that have a shit ton of ports for guns, and if thats true then why wouldnt I want to buy a transformers siege toy, if only brand loyalty/protest.only the OP makes me think it wasnt ordered as it was, but was cobbled together. using some wheels as part of the legs is genius. even then, the top half looks like a default kit you'd buy off al jazeer's toy barn.
>>8658329What is your point? Also, why do you fear proper capitalization?
>>8658411anon, im not a mobilefag with a fancy keyboardalso, my point is that none of these seem, or even are, able to be taken apart, reassembled with other mecha, figures, same line shit. im not expecting lego levels of disassembly, but other than OP showing nonstandard usage of wheel parts as legs or even leg armor, theres nothing itt that goes beyond a figma, in that theyre rather posable figures
>>8658493So you haven't looked very hard at the pics (particularly the Robot Build ones) or really done any research on the lines mentioned in the thread. Again, I'm not sure what your point is. Are you expecting the thread to sell you on the modularity of the figures. Calling into question the legitimacy of the thread? You're making it out like the thread is at fault for something, here, but you won't just come out and say it.
>>8658544i've come here expecting even one showcase of what someone has made, a shitty hodgepodge at best but understandably so.seems like i expected too much from an underwater ironing forum based in koala lampoor...

Not that guy but a rundown of each line would be cool to include for newcomers. I looked up each series from OP and I didn't understand how most of them are modular, and nor was my question answered when I tried to ask. The thread is a bit opaque or insular, and negativity or no response gets us nowhere and is a barrier for entry. I come with an honest and excited interest.
>>8662511well, what series in particular don't you understand? Because a full rundown would honestly be a lot of work for this thread.A few lines are admittedly mostly modular in the sense that they have some interchangeable parts/armor but got lumped into this thread because they still fit stylistycally with what people here like. But for most I genuinely don't understand how you can't see the modularity when googling them. But if you have specific questions I'll try my best to explain.
>>8659705I wonder how many I should get. Two, maybe?
>>8649383I haven't been able to get into most of Diaclones designs, they started out so well and they just don't appeal to me just quite. The Tridasher was the one I liked the most and still not enough to pull the trigger.

>>8641003how tall are these?
>>8664039Not six inch.
>>8662511Most of the modularity and cross-compatibility come from the standard peg/hole diameters they use. Many of them use 3mm diameter pegs like Diaclone Reboot, Gunpla/30MM/Bandai candy toys, Hexagear, RIHIO, etc. However, there are some that use 4mm (RobotBuild, larger Diaclone mechs) or 5mm (Mainline Transformers), or some imperial-sized connector (Lego) or even their own proprietary joint design (Also Diaclone, Snapships, Mugenbine). Maybe we should have a list showing which line uses what, but it's a lot of work.

>>8688437Q1 2021 so anytime between 1st to 121st January.
>>8690031That's the one I ordered, waiting for it to clear customs
Cant believe I found this on Amazon. Nothing comes up under Rihio or MultiAbyss but some random seller has these under a generic name and Its legit.
You guys think this big beautiful bastard is worth it?
>>8691304No but I do think he's worth owning. Just not for the money.
>>8691282got a link bromigo?
>>8691411seller is "fenglintech" on Amazon im in US so not sure about other countries Amazon. This thing is dope for 20 bucks although a little on the small side. Plastic seems fairly durable but I can see some stress marks from just snapping the ball joints in in some places. The joints are good though and it poses easily.
>>8692339comes with tons of parts for alternative builds or customisation. Also some painted pieces.
>>8691282Hope you didn't pay too much for it through Amazon, that kit retails for less than 8 USD over in China. Other models are similarly cheap, cheap enough for all the modular monstrosities on their weibo.
>>8692637>Hope you didn't pay too much for it through Amazon, that kit retails for less than 8 USD over in China. Other models are similarly cheap, cheap enough for all the modular monstrosities on their weibo.the problem is it's a pain in the ass finding any US based retailers who are carrying them in stock, cause a lot of us really don't want to monkey around with the Chinese directly
>>8692637Its the same price it is on BBTS which is usually overpriced but these aren't easy to find in the US in general.
>>8576540I got some junkbots. It took me awhile to make designs I like.I ended up getting a couple dupes which is both a blessing and a curse since having multiple of the same part can be good but I also wish I had more unique parts to work with.
Two more Tamotu colors are on the way, could be fun to mix and match the shells between them
>>8694861oh nice, I was thinking about getting one and giving it the orange mechatro wego colour scheme. That's pretty convenient.
>>8692975I got several junkbots and i gotta say i really don't like them as much as i thought. some of the designs and parts are cool, but i think the aesthetic is just not for me.
>>8657151Just ordered both of these squat bots, I’ll report back when I get them
>>8697189I was on the fence with this guy, but I love that it actually has neck articulation and the weapons are neat
>>8694861How are these things? They look neat.
goddamn, most of these kits look neat, but they're so expensive. Only knew of Tatomu and Armored Puppets before entering this thread.
>>8699896If you want cheap, Bandai's 30MM model kits are pretty good. They're made to be easy to assemble and use 3mm holes/pegs as their standard, so they're compatible with a lot of things, too. Plus, it's Bandai, who have been in the plamo business for a long time, so the kits are of good quality. I believe they also work well with the Gundam Build series kits, at least the accessories, so you've got customization options there.

>>8702440size?
>>8702443>can't read the numbers in the corner
>>87025221/24 scale doesn't mean a whole lot if you do not know how big the item they're scaling down is. there's not a lot to tell you if this is a person sized android or a big gundam like
>>8702627This isn't necessarily wrong. For example 1/12 Apollo and 1/18 Krivo, yet both are the same size. It likely is going to be a 3" figure, like the Hexagear figures.
Already can't afford, space and financially, to get all the action figures I want, now I have a need to get modular toys like these.
>>8692975I'd like to mess around with possible builds more, but the ball joints they have are so finnicky
>>8673603>>8673747>>8675962BBTS certainly has the largest stock of 6, as AmiAmi and Hobbysearch only have 4 or 5. Taobao might just have more, but I don't trust the website enough to give my phone number to it to register an account to even be able to search for product. Are the 6 found on BBTS the only ones Creative Field has done of Armored Puppets, or just the ones we can find internationally?
Got my tiny astronauts in today. The quality on them is really good, not sure if it's because they're a new mould or just because they're more expensive than regular 'naut types. But I'd say they probably feel better than the official dianaut figs I have. (But I only have the official moon buffalo females). Joints feel good and not too loose, not too stiff. Now I just need to wait for the other VP series parts of my order to come in,.
>>8706760It's not a bad direction for MFT to take if they aren't KOing anymore. They do have to be better QC than their KO Dianauts though because MFT doesn't have the cheapest 1/60 pilots on the market anymore.
