Feel free to discuss anything about He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in this thread! Kicking this one off with the leaked minicomic that comes with all six figures in Origins wave 1!
>>8218630Why are there no creator credits?
>>8218665This is probably a rough copy. I've heard that the finished book has better lettering and polished art on the cover, and spelling errors ("You're days are numbered!") fixed. I'm just wincing at the fact that MYAH! is now canon...
>>8218701It feels a little meme-y yes. But at least it's not a complete joke.
>>8218704True, true. They seem to be taking it semi-seriously - or, at least as seriously as one can take a child-friendly MotU, anyway. Going to miss the larger page count and individual books with each figure that the vintage books had, but what else can you do these days to help keep the costs down without sacrificing too much about the figure itself?
>>8218630The art doesn't seem fitting. Looks like a parody.
>>8218737Well, it's not like they could get Axel Gimenez to do the box art, card backs AND mini comics... Besides, the comics are more simply a nod to the way things were. Much like the entire line itself.Mattel, playing it safe.
People are getting He-Man and Skeletor from Wal-Mart.com already apparently.
>>8218834Fucking hell, they didn't fix his boot tops. Mattel gonna Mattel, I guess.
>>8218834He-Man link works: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Masters-O...play/316596116Skeletor
>>8218847*Skeletor's link doesn't, kicks up an error page

>wake up>origins scareglow not out yet>go back to sleep
>>8218834Fuck. How recently... I need this Skelly. Thought these weren't supposed to be hitting until Fall. I swear I get fucked on every MOTU release. Scalpers in my area just eat MOTU shit up and I'm relegated to buying online at hiked up prices.
>>8218872>You are through, Skeletor.Ya... is there a problem?
>>8218834Has anyone found them instore? I'm thinking of going to check.
>>8219082Not yet, it seems like only online orders being filled so far. I could be mistaken of course, but that's how it sounds through Twitter.
>>8219084Damn because the site's sold out.
MSRP still the predicted $15-20?
>>8219289$15 in the States.
>>8218998From this angle, the face looks awesome!!!
>>8219362I'm sure there will be lots of QC complaints and botched paint on the teeth but for a $15 figure looks good to me. The paint scheme is so simple it'll be hard to fuck up much more than the placement of the teeth. It's not like originals had perfect paint applications either. Lots of misaligned boots etc. I'm really excited for this Skelly. Great price point and I'm genuinley excited for playability and body swaps.
>>8218630We'll never get 2002 He-man
>>8219063>you are days are numbered
Is Scareglow still slated for the first wave? He's the only figure I'm remotely interested in
>>8224664No. First wave is seen on the back cover of the minicomic. I'm waiting for wave 2, myself.
>>8222287Got it got it, didn't see that one. Even though I'm sure the international version will either have a hundred translations or no text like the WWE MotU comics, I always like reading these in hand and I only quickly glanced and saw the line to Skeletor.
Anyone found these in store? Any idea how they're handling initial shipments? I hear instead of dropping all 6 figures of the first series in a single shipments, they'll be shipped in waves of 2 starting with Skeletor and He-man. Any truth to that?
>>8226139No.They're shipping them out from whichever warehouse is closest, or so I've heard. Or it could be random, who knows.No. They're going all in on this line, since they have to reestablish the characters in the public eye before the kid-friendly series debuts (with its own attendant toyline, due to design and/or name changes). No one knows anything at this point except that the initial Walmart availability was (probably) an error, since the pages were only found by mining, and the warehouses were clueless as to the actual release date.
Updated minicomic cover, as compared to the original.
>>8228274Which one is which? He-Man's head looks mildly better on the left.
Wow!! So weird to see the people that have them in hand are not the big youtubers for once. They do play nice with the wrestling line it looks like.
>>8228383Left is updated cover, right is original rough cover.
>>8218639I don't remember Teela looking like that in the show.
>>8228498They have tried to reproduce her cartoon look several times, only this statue got it right, all the others look like cheap bootlegs, so most of the time they go for her original toy look.
>>8228399That actually looks pretty good together.
>>8228498They had to simplify her design for animation. I dare say that her animated look is the more iconic one (and far harder to nail down in plastic).>>8228877Swapping WWEternia parts onto MotUO figs with ease is going to give this shared line some insane amount of customization options! I'm kind of regretting not getting in on the ground floor with that...
>>8218630>TFW i spent 100 dollarydoos on origins he man and skeletorGod i shouldve preorderd them on walmart.com
>>8231793Should have just waited a bit man, those two especially will be super plentiful in time.
>>8231803I cant wait, i was expecting these to hit since last year, and fucking nothing else is coming out. Buying toys is the only thing keeping my sanity right now
Anyone want a bingo card for the Kevin Smith series? Feel free to tweak or update.
These hit yet?
New Masters of the WWE 2-pack featuring Hogan and Austin and the Rattlesnake Mountain Ring.https://www.wwe.com/inside/mattel/gallery/masters-of-the-wwe-universe-rattlesnake-mountain-ring-playset-photos#fid-40494931
>>8238280I'd have bought this by itself.
>>8238413I mean, if the price of this set is like the last 2-pack they'll be the cost of 2 figures, and the ring is essentially free. But ya, that Hogan is probably the winner of the set, he even has those shirt "rips" on the back of his armour, which is pretty great. The weapons on Austin are pretty cool too.
>>8238413>Hogan with a battle-axe.>Not giving him a giant Yapapi Indian Strap to deliver the strappation to his enemies. You had ONE job, Mattel.
>>8238280Stonecold should've been a rockman or something. Or play up the snakeman aspect even more.
>>8238413This is the first one of these I like
>>8238447I mean, he has 2 snakes for arms/weapons and his eyes are snakelike, I think it's pretty snakey already. For the figures with heads like this though, it'd be ideal if they could also include regular human heads, as I assume some who just want the wrestlers themselves have no need for a Steve Austin with snake eyes.
>>8238413That’s why he’s in the play set. Mattel is well aware that everyone wants this one. Not everyone wants a playset
>>8243297It was the same way with the regular John Cena, though that pack was an exception value, while this one is just regular prices for everything in one bundle.
Sucks they upped the price $20 for this ring and figures.
According to Mattel the WWEternia line has been selling really well. That's great to hear, but I wish they were more widely avalible. The only figures I ever saw around here were Finn Balor and Roman Reigns. I just want faker cena and rey mysterio.
Did they make any MOTUC figures with the monster forearms but in regular skin tone?
>>8244009If you're talking about "monster forearms" like Beast Man's, yes.
>>8238447I'd say the idea is based off of this old shirt design, mixed with MotU Snake Men.
>>8238413Should have gave him the weird fist helmet.
>>8245809The "Fist Fucker" helmet
>>8228472im glad. i think left looks very good actually
whats the pricepoint on the origins line?
Macho man made a new friend
>>8249472Fuck forgot picture
>>8249389$15 USD for figures, $25 for Battle Cat, $30 for Prince Adam/Sky Sled 2-pack. Anyone who pays more than this is hella impatient, has a shitload of cash to burn, or is a complete and utter retard.
>>8249474I wish I knew about he-man origins being in stock briefly. I hope they show up in stores soon in large numbers.
>>8249733Even if not, they'll still be available from Walmart's website, Amazon, BBTS and myriad other websites (as Walmart's exclusivity really only pertains to physical storefronts in the US).
>>8249474Skeletor looks so jovial, this picture is honestly really comfy
>>8245781Sadly, no. I mean the Skeletor-like, sort of plated forearms.
>>8250066That's easy, then Zodac's your man!
>>8250092Haven't you heard? Zodac has been blackwashed since the 200X series. You ain't getting no cracka' white hairy limbs from this brotha' in the future.
>>8250131That's Zodak. With a K. Completely different character.
>>8250092Perfect! I always forget he exists.
Now just to wait for the inevitably impossible to find Man-E-Faces. At least the vintage one isn't very expensive, I guess.
I want this guy so bad, nobody is selling him anywhere. Probably my favorite character design in almost the entire series. I NEED HIM
>>8250213He's pretty cool. Only downsides for me are that his torso feels pretty light/hollow and he holds his crossbow weird due to the position of his thumbs
>>8250406I love classic monsters, I love space opera, I love Sword & Sorcery. MOTU is the best freaking thing cause it has all that and sooooo much more. Wrap Trap is a perfect culmination of it all and I'm desparate for him, might just drop the $200 for this fucking lil green mummy manLOVE this pose btw
>>8232062I'd rather have Smith do like Noelle and just come up with a new version of the old concept instead of trying to carefully maintain continuity with a silly cartooon from the 80's that never cared about its own continuity in the first place.
>>8250520No one watched shera
>>8250520I'm newish to /toy/ and the MOTU in general, fell in love with the series after watching Netflix's She-Ra. I know there's A LOT of dipshit toxic douchebags who hate the series because they're assholes and hate people for being queer or black or whatever, and am curious how people here generally feel about it here. And yeah I totally agree, the old concept is fun because its so maleable, keep that going and bring something new in.
>>8250524No one watched Shera. Kevin Smith will make her straight.
>>8250520Liked the netflix show and most of its designs, but cheesus the artstyle was awful, it wasn't "toyetic" or merchandise friendly enough.
>>8250532thats a weird thing to say! Idk how you can say that and not be embarrassed. And I liked it very much, excellent show
>>8250550Shera was a flop. Doesn't matter that voltron was liked, that show also flopped. You can fuck off back to >>>/co/ now, cancer faggot
>>8250552oof, you got some problems!
>>8250558No one liked new Shera.
>>8250532Kevin Smith is going to kill the franchise for another 20 years man. If you thought Nu-Ra was bad, brace yourself for "Teela and the matriarchs of the universe". Our only hope now is that that kid oriented reboot saves the sinking ship.
>>8250524Separate license dude, make your own thread.
>>8249711awesome. thats exactly what i was hoping for.if im being honest, the singular figures would probably be more fair around $10, but thats unrealistic
>>8250135all those fucking (tm)s and (r)s, jesus. really sucks the soul right out of it
i just got my first motu classics figure (space mutants skeletor) and the ankles are REALLY stiff and dont seem to have any pivot or swivel, just the forward and backwards tilt. am i missing something? do these figures really have such primitive articulation in the one place they need it to stand up?
>>8251252Mattel kind of has to stand up and assert their trademarks, lest there ever be a Fisto/Kit Fisto style brouhaha again. Remember, in 200x, Fisto was renamed Battle Fist, and Rattlor simply became The General? Or more recently, when Ninjor > Ninja Warrior and Double Trouble > Double Mischief? All because of lapsed trademarks.
>>8250532She-Ra's not in Revelation. At all. If she were, she'd have a va listed among the rest of the cast. She doesn't.>>8251060Got a single, solitary source for that, other than Clownfish (that no one's been able to either name or verify) and Parrotfish, er, Screenrant?
>>8251614https://youtu.be/hF7Y6ix5zJIAside from the fact that Kevin Smith is a left wing hack? Plenty, I almost envy the fact that you've been able to delude yourself this much. You truly have no idea how bad things really are.
is ryguy227 on ebay our guy?
>>8252101>>8252101In other words, you have no name or credential for this "information", and no source at all other than an opinion based on your perception of Smith's prior work. If production on Revelation is really going as badly as you say it is, prove it by giving us some actual, verifiable information.
>>8251259be grateful they are stiff. at leat 70-80 % of my figures have loose ankles and can't stand up for shit
>>8252211No. Not all but alot of scalper tier prices
>NEW MASTERS OF THE WWE>ROWDY RODDY PIPER>KANE>JAKE THE SNAKE
>>8258121There should be a whole set of WWE snake men.
>>8258121So which Snake will Jake be? Rattlor, Cobra Khan, or Sssqueeze maybe?
>>8258121God I really hope the line does well enough that we'll eventually see rereleases of the original figures at some point. They're knocking it out of the park with these. I really hope they eventually get a bit more wild with some of the concepts though. Andre as Tytus, Lesnar as ram-man , and King Kong Bundy as Gygor are just a few of the additions they could make that I would eat up.
>>8260090I'm seriously astounded these are getting traction. I saw the ring on clearance around Christmas and figured things were DOA.
>>8260101I think they made too many rings and the general distribution of the figures was wonky. It seemed like some stores on the west coast had these figures coming out of their ears and others had nothing at all. What I find most confusing is that even Mattel confirmed WWEternia was selling well. Could it be scalpers are just buying cases to sell online?
I have never seen any MOTU show, but the designs and figures are something I’ve looked at for years. Is this new $15 per figure like a good place to start? Would the show even be good to watch for someone in their mid twenties?
>>8259775Hopefully King Hiss. I want Kane to be Hordak, can't think of who Piper should get mixed with.
>>8261222This new line is the perfect place to start. It's essentially a MOTU "best of" album. As for the shows it varies wildly based on what you want out of the franchise. If you want a more conan esc barbarian fantasy story, then read the mini comics. If you want a goofy but fun silver age superman esc romp, watch the filmation show. If you want a serious crossing of the streams, watch 2000X. If you want a more sci fi heavy series, then I recommend watching the new adventures.
>>8258121Who would Iron Sheik be?
>>8258121These are old listings that have been around for a while. There's also a listing for a Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan.
Regarding WWE MotU, Steve (Mattel Employee, aka Action Figure Attack) on Wrestling figs mentioned that while there will not be any Power Swords of Havoc Staffs in the line, an upcoming figure will "include a different kind of sword". Hopefully we see more come SDCC!
>>8262451Thanks for all the advice anon, appreciate it. Do you have any idea when they’ll start hitting stores/available for preorder anywhere? I saw the John Cena in Walmart today and I’m not really a wrestling guy, but he looked so cool.
>>8262803>"a different kind of sword"I'm wracking my brain trying to think what this could be referencing. I can't think of any wrestlers that had prop swords besides that time Hogan dressed liked the Dread Pirtate Roberts and had a metal as fuck broad sword . . .
>>8262852Ya, I was thinking that the wording implied it'd be something a bit weird. But maybe that's reading into it. Maybe it'll be a Drew McIntyre with a claymore. Though, I also don't think it really needs to make sense (Cena never used an axe, or Rock a mace, etc), just anything they find is fun.
>>8262838>>8262451What about pic related? Seems similar to the upcoming origins wave.
>>8262838The origins figures are supposed to hit stores in fall, though some folks have reported seeing them in stores recently. So there's a chance you can get them now. >>8263138The Super7 retro line is good, if a bit over priced. The new origins/wweternia line has swappable parts and articulation, all for 15-20 bucks a piece. These super7 figures are full on rereleases of the classic toys. Same 6 poa articulation and everything, for 25 bucks, sometimes even 30 if you're into mint figures or exclusive packaging.
>>8263138If you'd really like a cheap flirt with the original motu toyline, I highly recommend taking a look at the funko savage world line. The DC and Horror lines especially, as both successfully expertly showcase the charm of the original motu toyline. Plus the line is on clearance at the moment, so you could easily amass the best parts of the line for cheap.
>>8263795I still need to get the second wave of these. Pissed that I popped Green Lantern's shield off his arm a week ago and it broke...
>>8263621I think I might get the super 7 skeletor/He-man (love their designs and how they contrast each other) and keep them on the cards and then open up the origins once I see them. Hopefully they’re actually easy to get. Also will pick up a faker John Cena so I have something to open/get a feel for the actual toys. Thanks for the info! >>8263795I like the shark guy, but I’ve never seen these in stores. I’d pick him up if I saw him.
Any advice on where to buy core cast of filmation club grayskull figures for cheapest price?I know I’m late to the party.
Can someone please identify this figure?
>>8263973Looks to me like a combination of He-Man and Skeletor.
>>8263978Do you mean like a custom? I tried searching exactly that and couldn’t find anything
>>8263973It’s a custom from a Power Con display
>>8218630So, what's the release date of the new motu toys in Europe? Is the movie still coming? How is Mattel going to promote the new toy line?
>>8264342That's rude.... I'm in Europe... C'mon dude
>>8263913Picked Cena up this morning. I bought two because I didn’t know if this was a line I wanted to keep in the box or open up, and I think I’ll definitely be opening. For both space reasons and on the fact that they look so good off the card. Buying doubles of $15+ figures would get expensive fast. Plus, I always end up opening my carded/sealed stuff because I want to pose it and take photos.
>>8263913Amazon has the entire line for dirt cheap if you still want them. The horror figs are still full priced surprisingly enough.
>>8263805That sucks anon, sorry to hear that.
>>8264659Faker Cena and Stratos Mysterio are the best looking of wave 2 in my opinion. Wave 3 is full of heavy hitters though, it will be hard to pick and choose.
>>8264877I should have grabbed Macho Man and The Big Dawg when I was at Walmart today.
>>8264877>>8264883I don’t even follow wrestling, but I really like the classic look of the line. Tempted to keep my second Cena and throw him on the wall.
>>8263973What's the figure to the right of Two-Face?
>>8264923Looks like it might be a custom MOTU style Shredder
>>8263973What video is this from?
>>8264953I just searched YouTube for MOTU collections and found it. My phone doesn’t save history sorry.
>>8238432But AXE BOMBER anon
>>8265828 I'm that anon you were replying.Touche, good sir or madame.
>go to a local comic store >every single one of their motu vintage figures doesn’t have accessories and completely over priced. >the only super 7 figures they have are the 7 inch He-man and Skeletor for $75 each I do not know why I try.
>>8267363>>fabulous secrets were revealed to me...
>>82648770/10 not enjoying the cream of the crop macho man at arms.
>>8268017Ohhh yeahhh On balance off balance it doesn't matter.Nothing means nothing
>>8262451Man, I want to get into this line SOOOOO bad.BUT fuck Mattel, fuck scalpers, FUCK exclusives!I thought I'd pick and choose and grab some pieces here and there. Then I just saw a review of the Sky Sled, and I want one. BUT it's a goddamn WM Exclusive (Fuck WM!) and an "army builder" with the alt head.If I have to pay scalper prices I'm just going to skip the entire line. God I hate Mattel. I abandoned them after the Digital River bullshit with DCUC & GB. I just want cool toys, not "chase" bullshit.
>>8268378The line debuts at Walmart but isn't going to be exclusive to Walmart
>>8268402Thanks, good to hear. Still don't trust them to not make exclusives, and their SDCC exclusives are always a bitch to get.
>>8268402I hope they push them hard so they’re readily available. Not 4 pegs that are empty after one guy walks in.
>>8268919Mattel reps are saying the WWE line is selling quite well, and the pegs for those are quite well stocked. He-Man and Skeletor will probably be in all the assortments, so they'll definitely be easy to find. Whether Scareglow or Teela are easy to find remain to be seen. It'll all depend on how they set up the case assortments, I'd say.
>>8268933They’re pretty poorly stocked in my area, but the new wave was supposed to come out/is supposed to come out soon so maybe that’ll change in the coming weeks.
I picked up a Roman for my friend because he's his favorite wrestler and has a few figures of him already and grabbed Macho Man myself.I love this guy. Really can't wait for the actual MOTU ones. And I NEED a Webstor so Macho can get him for three minutes of playtiiime.
>>8269620Damn what a great pic anon. Nothing gets me more hyped than seeing these lads in action. King Shark is about to be dethroned!
When is best girl going to get a He-Man, and what character will she be crossed with?https://youtu.be/4ex2OF79TDA
>>8269785Evil Lyn because of skin tone? I mean, there's not a lotta lady He-Man figs.
>>8269684When I get home from work in the morning, I gotta take my Castle Batskull down and pull out the rest of my Savage Worlds figure.
>>8269785Even though they don't technically need to be crossed over with anything specific, how about Shokoti. A kabuki mask could be her floating minion (or a mask accessory instead of the crown), the cape would be decorated like her entrance attire. I do wonder when we'll get the first female figure from the WWE line.
Mondo man at arms now available
>>8269893I wonder how well that line will ultimately do and how many people, like me, just got He-Man and Skeletor.
>>8269912I won’t even get them because of their size/quality. If I’m paying $160+shipping I expect high quality shit.
>>8269837Different anon here, I look forward to your pics!
And that's all the cardback art for Waves 1 and 2 (presumably, He-Man and Skeletor will remain evergreen, so there should be 4 figures with each subsequent wave).
I like the art very much. I just wish I could preorder
>>8274754>(presumably, He-Man and Skeletor will remain evergreenIsn't that what killed the 2002 He-Man line? Having nothing but He-Mans and Skeletors, and none of the other characters easy to find?
>>8276632Conversely not having the popular characters in their basic appearances available was part of what killed the original line, so there needs to be a balance.
>>8276632Regarding the WWE Heman figures; is it true those figures heads are compatible with the regular Hasbro WWE characters? Have zero interest in the wrestler selection for the WWE/He Man crossover line but if I can just tranplant heads for the guys I want to see get figures, I might give the line a try>>8276632I think they mean "we won't be doing bullshit like rave disco skeletor or snake hunting steampunk He-Man". So just vanilla He-Man and Skeletor and them being in every wave. Or alternatively, if we do get variants, they'll probably be packaged with vehicles (like Battle Armor with Battlecat and Panthra)
>>8276647I'm certainly hoping that this is the case. I'd like to think that maybe Mattel might have learned a thing or two from the 200x debacle. I also like how they may possibly be teasing what could be Wave 3 characters in the Wave 2 art (Ram-Man and Clamp Champ for the Heroic Warriors, Mer-Man and ??? for the Evil Warriors). And they're already packing variants with vehicles (sort of); there's no plan so far for a single-carded Prince Adam.
>>8276647Do you mean regular Mattel WWE figures? If so the heads can fit with a bit of work. Some with just some heat, others may need a bit of TLC. If you actually mean the vintage Hasbro WWE figures, then no.
>>8276647>>8276698The thing that killed 200X was a lack of different characters, not the inclusion of variants. Figures were shipped in boxes of heroes and boxes of villains. There were six figures per box. Unfortunately, the hero boxes were five He-Man and one alternate character, and the villains were five Skeletor and one alternate character. The variants of He-Man and Skeletor actually helped the line limp along a bit longer than it would’ve if they were just the original figures because people would buy some of the variants to have something new.
>>8263795I kinda like that Bat Castle. Skeletor would look sweet on that throne.
>>8238280Kinda want this for my vintage he-man set.
>>8258121Really interested in seeing who Piper emulates.
>>8258121>>Roddy Piper>>IS A G.I JOE figure and will become a MOTU figure. He was always pretty based, now he's ULTRA BASED, RiP Hot-Rod.
stocktrack says that wave 3 of the wwe motu has been at my local walmart for the last week. i go every day, sometimes twice a day but they haven't put them out on the floor yet (or maybe stock track's out of date)only second hand ones i can find locally are >$50fuck everyone that has a motu undertaker no exceptionsyes i mad
>>8281132Stocktrack makes me assume Canada, and besides wave 1 which was skipped, wave 2 was restocked at least once. You'll get a chance at em.
Anyone collect the megaconstrux line? Considering starting because the scale is appealing/I won't have to hunt too hard for characters I want. Moving them would be a bitch though, that's what is stopping me.
>>8281220I have Castle Grayskull. It’s pretty cool.
>>8281227Was it fun to build? Worth $165? I'm just getting into MOTU and the Super 7 Retro line is going to get expensive quick. I paid $46 shipped for He-Man and Skeleton and I'm already regretting it. This looks like it would be a somewhat cheap alternative and it also looks like all of the main characters have figures/are getting figures.
>>8281234Yeah, if you like LEGO then you’ll probably have a good time. It was a pretty fun build for me. That’s also a good price too, considering it was originally $250.If you’re not sure, you might want to pick up the Windraider set, or the Battle of Eternia collection that comes with 5 characters. Then you’ll have a better idea if you like the figures.
>>8238413I'm surprised he got a new figure, I don't normally follow wrestling but wasn't he apart of a big scandal and killed his career recently?Sorry if this is too off topic.
>>8249992Yeah like he is a fan meeting his hero or something.
>No MOTWWEU toys for Australia or Europe>No confirmation for MOTU Origins for Australia or EuropeWhy does Mattel hate us so? Australia doesn't even get many WWE figures despite the fact they sell well.
I wonder why they haven't used the Teela body for female wrestlers yet.
>>8261264Man, I liked King Hiss in concept but even as a child hated his figure in execution.
>>8281748Maybe it wasn't ready yet. SDCC will have some MotWWEU figures, so we'll see if they finally introduce some females.
>>8276636Yeeeah, when I was a kid I never had a standard Skeletor and He-man. I had B.A. Skelly and Prince Adam.
>>8218630So what scale are these? the same as the old ones or are they bigger? I mainly just want Battle Cat so I can have other figures ride him.
>>8281803King Shark in >>8269620 is an MOTU-esque scale if that helps.
>>8281803They're about the same scale, only they can straighten their legs a teeny bit. The new Battle Cat's armor fits perfectly on the vintage one according to Pixel Dan.
>>8263795I've heard the QC on these is pretty bad, is that true?
For those of you who may be interested in Mattel's $5 Eternia Minis blind-box line, they've been spotted at various Walmarts across the country. Here's a key to which package contains which character (letter is stamped om the bottom of the plastic Grayskull clamshell):UPC: 887961874884SKU: 598563680A=He-ManB=SkeletorC=Man-at-ArmsD=Trap JawE=Ram ManF=JitsuG=Buzz-OffH=Slime Pit He-ManMe, I'm waiting for Wave 2.
>>8281878The initial release of the first wave was plagued with instances where the sockets in the legs were just too small/tight around the ball in the hips. And those hip balls are attached to the crotch by super thing rods. It's weird that the slasher villain ones don't have this problem and I've heard later releases also fixed it.I used a lot of heat to get them into a proper standing position and haven't fucked with their legs since.
>>8281884I got two Panthros (one via return) and the leg snapped on both, but I have the rest of the Thundercats wave 1 and Jason from the horror line and both of those are fine (though I had to wrap Jason's weapons for him to hold them properly)
>browsing ebay>see this>think "poor little eternian girl">wonder if it's intentional
>>8281884Ah okay, thanks for letting me know.I'm not likely to get one of the first wave ones if I were to order some online now, am I?
>>8281928Just imagine what Tongue Lashor can do!
>>8281883>Mattel's $5 Eternia Minis blind-boxWhat do these look like? I can’t even find them online
>>8282610https://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/showthread.php?276644Disregard my retardation. These look cool, will they be stocked in with the toys or the collectible section in Walmart?
>>8281883I'll nab trapjaw and slime pit heman
>>8281931Extremely unlikely. It'd have to be old, old stock they somehow got stuck with.
>>8218630I got scare glow undertaker while i was out looking for the MOTU minis. He glows very well so i like him very much. The armor he comes with i feel was a waste since it doesnt fit well, you have to take his head off to put it on, and it covers up his glowing chest. Thats my only complaint i have for the figure and wish the money was used for another accessory for him like a cape or another weapon.Pic unrelated
>>8283133My stupid ass has gone to Walmart nearly every single morning for the last week and today I decided to go at night and of course, the one day they actually restock these fuckers, the ones I want are gone.
>>8283133Undertaker’s armor is from Motu Classics Tri Klops. That’s why it doesn’t fit as perfectly as some of the other pieces designed for the line specifically.
