The new style hips also just look nicer, and I like the deep purple. I figured an updated version was coming so I sold off my battle-damaged. I still gave my old SDCC one because I liked the colors more, but this one is good for it. I'll sell my SDCC for 200 bucks or something and this one is almost a strict replacement. I can live without SSJ2 head. In order to make him look closer to the source not only did they made the torso wider but also shortened it. And it looks accurate to the art, but the problem of doing things that way is evident when you compare it with other Gokus, that torso made him shorter.What Bandai should have done if they weren't so retarded sometimes is increase the size of the overall figure slightly to compensate. After the shock of the shitty chest colour has died down im glad i didnt panic cancel. I think he otherwise looks great and I'd be disappointed missing out on him. Even though I'm happy with him so far, this level of lackluster care for colours is unacceptable at these price points. I'll have to sort something out with a coat or repaint?
