Mashle is fun and the writer knew not to keep it going indefinitely so the manga has an actual ending, issue is the designs for the most part don't really lend themselves to really interesting action figures since most characters tend to be a different flavor or robe with normal street clothes underneath as can be seen from the first 3 figures. I do agree that it's a major issue, but as a package I wouldn't consider Luffy a dud because of it. The way it was done was very much awful, with the strange existing glued hinge piece, the knee itself not being able to bend more than about 90º even if the shorts allowed it is already a big problem. I'm a bit worried about Sanji's knees likewise not working very well, as they appear to be constructed in the same way.

Tbf, when he pulled it out it reached that point. There's no physical way that the ball could have been at that angle with the sleeve being that high up. And with that piece being force it would act as a lever and pop it out, so I don't think it's a big deal. It's also meant to be removed because he has the bandana that can slide off the arm.

Also I prefer the simplicity of a ball into the torso, over Luffy's overcomplicated shoulder. It seems a bit small, perhaps, but we'll see how it functions. Not being able to T-pose on Zoro isn't ideal, but maybe there's a way to play around with the arm so that it can reach it.

There's a pretty obvious difference, the thick sleeves around the shoulders not easily allowing a T-pose (if it even can with some playing around) and the torso using a rubber overlay, not allowing the range of motion he probably expects from usual SHF. In both cases the extra material, if forced, will act like a lever, forcing the ball peg out of the socket. I'm sure if he had time outside of the stream to play around with it first he would know how much range it could actually get, vs seemingly what he expected it could do.

The older Figuarts from say 2010 aren't bad but most of them have received a 2.0 in the form of SHFSS which is a subline of Figuarts aiming to adapt the proportions of the actual character/suit into Figuarts form (and also conveniently make 2.0's of Kamen Rider Figuarts that came out before 2014) and sometimes include extra articulation like a swivel joint on the elbow and knee which you don't see that often on regular Figuarts. Pic related will show you how different and an improvement the SHFSS are to the original version. The right side is the original Kamen Rider Faiz and the one on the left is the newly released SHFSS Kamen Rider Faiz that recently released either this month or the previous.

If you're still unsure and want something basic then there are a few I would recommend.

Faiz 2.0's waist and hips are so bizarrely narrow. It makes him look cartoonish, and surely not definitive. I'm still buying it because it's Faiz, but this is a real disappointment. This was supposed to be endgame.

I hope SHFUpgrade produces a replacement lower torso with better proportions. I think that's within their capabilities now, seeing as they're making LED belt torsos.

I think Bandai just went with their T8 look since its just the new iteration of the game, I do prefer their classic look/costume, Jin for example, I want his shirtless with black pants with flame design costume, but for other like Xiaoyu and Jun, their T8 look/costumes looks great so I don't mind that
