Just nabbed me a 2005 pink tag MMS Final Goji for only 31 dollars today. Usually see him go for like 80-110$ so one hell of a steal. New one has the modern Bandai lack of paint problem and now can pair this guy with my pink tag FW Gigan I had since I was a lad.

Odd question but anyone have either the the Pink Tag MMS era Godzilla 1992 or Final Goji on hand. I got mine on hand and wanted to ask if your personal figures claws and toes are more cheese like yellow or a more subdued yellow? I say since I seen a 1992 Godzilla Pink tag version with the cheese yellow claws and toes but other times it was more subdued and similar to its 2001 release. Same goes for final goji as mine is more of subdued variety and seen others with the cheese tone going with theres. Was there like some factory error which too much paint was applied or a reissue which made them less of a eye sore?

The New "Standard" price for a basic Godzilla is $90. The cheapest still available SHMA figures are the Monsterverse figures (which, outside of the Kong, I would just advise you to get the Hiya versions instead) and the 1954 Godzilla which is like the third time SHMA has reissued the figure in seven years.

Those tiny ball joints for the thinner wing membrane portions tend to snap pretty easy. The owner of NECA had a business meeting around the time when the emails went to retailers they couldn't make more and he was basically piss drunk, bitching at Toho and Legendary marketing people they were taking too long to make things happen and needed to do more. They pulled the license from NECA there, and in NECA's contract it opened up the floodgates for the likes of Subpar7, Bandai America, and Mezco to get in the ring with more product on the market. This wasn't on Playmates at all, it was 100% on the owner of NECA being a jerkoff.

Also Bandai's hands are full as it is going into next year with two Godzilla films in the span of 5-6 months apart each other as well as other things like anniversary to older films like GvMG, GvSG, and Final Wars. Basically what getting at is just get the memorial box version if you really want it, it's also usually pretty cheap even with a card attached around the 30-40 dollar range (Also knowing modern MMS, the paintjob of the memorial box will be light years better than the new mold getting the pre fire treatment.)
