So dumb Showa King Ghidorah as still yet to get a figure made in the 6 inch scale in the modern day Bandai world. Only options still are the original GC one from the 80s and the 8 inch kaiju break out premium store figures that in after market price go for around 400-600

For those still seeking an OG Titanosaurus with tag attached and in mostly new condition, there's a bid going on ebay that will end on Tuesday at Midnight. GLHF

I had a snipe bid ready, a little irritated.
But I did find another weird Godzilla toy I haven't seen onlie before yet while I was browsing around. I hope I win that auction too.
>>10610168
I was eyeing that, but I have a feeling it's going to jump up to the $100+ in the last couple minutes of the auction.
>>10610158
I'm hoping we get one eventually. We're going to be inundated with Minus One and Godzilla X Kong stuff late 2023 and early 2024, so maybe we'll get someting cool 2024 summer?

What? Where? I didn't know about that. Sounds wonderful. I hope we see another monster in the movie personally. I think Godzilla looks great, but I think there should be at least one more shown or even hinted at in the trailer.
Also I recently realized I don't have a 1954 JP Bandai vinyl figure. I hope these aren't hard to find now.

The person(s) spamming how sexy Godzilla is and the person(s) responding to their posts telling them to kill themselves are equally annoying and a problem.
Remember that you are able to report posts and/or hide posts. It is best to not engage either of them and do what you think is necessary.

>>
>>10610168
10 min warning. current Bid is 100 exactly for those who have the bucks to shell for something you could get for about 40-50 less normally.
>>
>>10610168
Why do stupid motherfuckers care about the tag? Is it only resellers or do people actually display things with the tags attached?
>>
>>10612286
It's like saying you own a Ferrari, but you bought one without the keys set for that particular car. The tag is basically the key. TDLR, it makes the figure complete for collectors and potentially resellers. Still though fact that only sold for 100 in almost perfect condition is pretty fucking hilarious
>>
>>10612286
I never really understood it. I always detag my figures with a few exceptions. If you just use a blow dryer you can safely take it out and probably shove it back in if you really wanted to
>>
>>10612286
>Is it only resellers or do people actually display things with the tags attached?
Both. It's a collector habit. Also a fallback incase one goes through hard times potentially or you know, die and it gets passed on to a love one or a landlord.
>>10612291
I'd do this, but I don't want to risk taking the tags off either way. Also hi Steven.
>>
>>10612286
Same reason why one wants a figure with a box loose or in box new. Novelty and mint is the word in the collector world of all thing's geekdom.
>>
>>10612286
Because the tags tend to look cool. It's like a trading card that comes with the figure.
>>
Trailer made me lose interest. Favorite godzilla since g vs shrimp was shin
>>
>>10612286
I like the way it looks on the shelf, like it was just purchased from the store. I also like how the tag looks usually (some are ugly). I guess there is some resell value, but I'm not planning on selling my stuff anytime soon.
>>
>>10612296
If you were really worried about hard times you wouldn't be buying plastic shit in the first place. It reeks of retarded autism. Shit looks disgusting displayed with the tag. Do you also keep tags on your clothes in case you need to sell them later?
>>
I guess I don't understand buying something with the thought of already not keeping it forever. Seems fucking retarded and makes you look like a wannabe reseller and fake fan.
>>
is there a specific reason that Movie Monster Series Bandai figs are so significantly expensive now? at least compared to how much they used to cost.
are they making less? they have less paint than the older figures, and aren't much larger than the tantalizingly affordable Ultra Hero/Ultra Monster 500 series figs.

>>10612510
>That unironic Spergout
Holy shit it actually is Steven lol.

Literally called "True Godzilla".
>>
>>10612539
There was a weird jump in prices starting with the Battra/Megaguirus wave and its been noticeably more expensive since then. Guessing Bandai increased up their prices to make up for the JP yen and overall economy.
Also the prices for painting the figures seem to have gone up based on their comment for Titanosaurus. They said directly that the painters refused to paint it for that price, so Bandia had to increase the price slightly to make up the difference. Probably switched to a new paint supplier and/or the paint supplier increased their prices.
Also the Ultra Monster 500 figures got their paint cut as well in some instances. For example, Dada who was fully painted in previously releases now is only half painted in recent releases.

Monsterarts for a while for me, but I'm thinking about tapping out. The prices are getting ridiculous, especially for what you're getting (or rather what you're not getting)
>>
>>10614312
I pretty much gave up on Monsterarts after when Bandai pretty much outright stating they stopped giving a shit about QC issues and if something breaks or has a too tight or very loose part, you are SOOL. But yeah the prices are fucking retarded and inflated to hell on what is basically FOMO figures.
>>
>>10614135
I collect Bandai Movie Monster Series (main collection), X-Plus Deforeal (very rarely), a few NECA Godzillas, Monogram Classic Godzilla figural keychains, and misc. older toy lines like finger puppets and keshigomu
>>10614308
Yup, I think that is it so far that we can confirm.
There are rumors of a King Kong 1962 and many more of the Final Wars figures (King Caesar, Minilla, etc.), but not sure how legit that rumor is (they also mentioned Titanosaurus before it was revealed, but that could have just been a lucky guess).
There was also a rumor of a Gigan 1973 (not to be confused with 1972).
There is also a good chance they'll show off at least one surprise figure on Godzilla day.
Later this month the Godzilla Store Channel will have a session called 'Movie Monster Series Rush Part 1' which now thinking about it is probably going to show off a bunch of Movie Monster Series figures, and possibly some new ones.
>>
>>10614331
Titanosarus was a lucky guess since it was due for a new release/reissue from now til 2025 for ToMG 50th. Pretty funny they decided to go with the toy dreams colors to the point it's almost hard to tell which is which if both were untagged which think is the first time a limited boxed released figure is released loose without a paintjob change.
>>
>>10614135
I collect everything because I am an actual fan not a retarded hypefag with major FOMO like most of the posters here. I have necas, mezcos, bandai MMS vinyls and bandai gachapons and monsterarts and xplus deforeals and bandai deformation attempts. I truly love godzilla unlike most faggots around here. I even have some Spiral studios works coming and have all the Hiya stuff POd. I wish other people here loved godzilla as much as i do but it's mostly retards here that haven't seen all the films or autistically fixate on a certain era as the best. It's just sad. Like the faggots that display Vinyls with the tags. You should just kys
>>
>>10614336
Yeah that really surprised me. I wish they went with the retail release paint job, but man I really like both paint jobs so can't complain too much.
Also I hope they re-release Orga sometime in the near future too. I love Orga and already have his figure, but I'd really like for others to be able to get it too. Not sure how the paint job would be and the price due to its size, but I think it'd be worth it. Orga doesn't have much paint anyway.
>>
>>10614374
Either paintjob works since never picked up either Titanosaurus and more so glad they decided to paint it exactly how it should. And yeah Orga aside for his nails, back, and head, he had no paint job really.

>>
>>10615507
I hope so, and I hope it is a new mold. None of the past King Caesar figures were quite right imo, always something a little off in one way or another.
>>
>>10615515
Left is more movie accurate and better paintjob. The joke I was getting out was modern day Bandai lacking in the paint department.
>>
>>10615524
Oh I thought you meant 'we're going to get it right when it comes to ___' as in the next one will get it right.
>>
>>10612303
The trading card aspect is apt. I keep my Ultra tags in toploaders, and they look so pretty organized together like that. Are the MMS tags around the same size? Tempted to jump in on more kinds of sofubi
>>
>>10616043
MMS tags are the exact same for the most part. For some reason the Gamera ones are a different size though
>>
I want the swamp gorilla bros
>>
>>10616052
Guess I'll hunt down Biollante and hopefully Orga, too. Really need to hunt down a Millenian, cuz I loved that design when I was younger.
>>
>>10616081
Bandai never made a Millenian and don't think YSMF did either. Hell there's only two orga figures that exist outside the statue/x plus stuff. One being the 1999 Orga by Bandai when MMS was under the Toho Kaiju Series, and YSMF both it and Orga with the Godzilla mutation parts with the big ass snake mouth.
>>
>>10616052
Those Gamera ones seem annoying, size wise. Too big for a regular toploader, too small to look good in tarot sized ones.
>>
>>10616081
I'd recommend just getting the current MMS biolantte and waiting for a rerelease of Orga. There isn't a MMS figure of him currently on the market
>>
>>10615585
I would like a new mold, but get the feeling they may just release the older mold just with the 1998 colors like I showed in that comparison. Only other option is them rereleasing the Bandai Creations version again which not gonna lie prefer the 2003 MMS than that due to how the BC version looks paintwise.
>>
>>10616137
Only real problem about MMS Biollante is a common issue for and especially Heisei Non Godzilla monsters, and that being they're super fucking small for whatever the fuck reason. Is why I simply just got the 1992 Biollante instead since fits way better and also that box pretty neat. I'd still probably get the Orga however since unless he appears in next years poll, I don't see him getting a Reissue and especially as a non Godzilla Store Exclusive release.
>>
>>10616140
Also further elaborate on the Orga thing is Orga (Technically) does have a MMS version, it's just Godzilla 2000 was the final line of figures released for the Toho Kaiju Series and basically still consider Orga and G2K as the first wave of when TKS turned into MMS. Also Orga scales very very well with the memorial box G2K as well as the MMS release back in 2016.

Sweet deal! That was about what I paid for him like 10 years ago. Honestly I think a person can't go wrong with either the original or re-release of FW Godzilla due to the trade off of paint for slightly more accurate hands and tongue. Such a cool figure.
>>
>>10618731
I would've gotten the re-release if it wasn't for the lack of paint at key places like the tail and the dorsal plates feeling a bit lacking compared to the original. Hands and tongue are better on the newer release, but it's subtle and for it decided on the older since from far away it doesn't look overly distracting.

>>
>>10620703
Only real positive and a very very small one is they cut back the excessive use of gold that they had going on the promo image. But yeah all this did was made the 8 inch original even more sought after than ever before akin to say the OG Mechagodzilla 1992 mold from the early MMS hayday compared to the recent release, but on a far far worse scale.
>>
>>10620703
One thing I'm curious about is how come Bandai didn't just re-use their prevoius mold from before? Like it isn't even that much bigger, just make it $45, slap less paint on it, and call it a day. Instead they made an entirely new mold (and messed up the mold), which was probably very expensive, and then released it. It can't be a lack of technology not allowing them to produce a more advanced figure from the past. The sculpt on the heads is hideous. And other more complex designs have been released, so it isn't scale or difficulty to produce. I just don't understand it at all besides someone at Bandai specifically hating Keizer Ghidorah.
>>
>>10620703
Hm... Perhaps I should sell mine. Wonder how much it could fetch now.
>>
>>10621146
Lowest I've seen from a non tagged one go for 200. Makes sense since this was released after when FW came out and flopped, also was officially the last time Bandai ever made 8 inch figures in the MMS line

I dislike Shin, It's up there with Final Wars and All Monsters Attack as one of my least liked movies in the franchise, but it's a 70-year-old franchise. Some people are going to like some films more than others. I know a guy who talks about how All Monsters Attack is a brilliant commentary on Post-War Japan's re-industrialization constrained by its budget and ranks it as one of his favorites. I definitely like to have fun taking the piss out of "Shin and 1954 are the only good movies" crowd, but that's mostly cause I think they're insufferable in a lot of other ways.
>>
Was the DefoReal Megalon seriously a Ric-toy exclusive? What the fuck?
>>
Odd question but anyone have either the the Pink Tag MMS era Godzilla 1992 or Final Goji on hand. I got mine on hand and wanted to ask if your personal figures claws and toes are more cheese like yellow or a more subdued yellow? I say since I seen a 1992 Godzilla Pink tag version with the cheese yellow claws and toes but other times it was more subdued and similar to its 2001 release. Same goes for final goji as mine is more of subdued variety and seen others with the cheese tone going with theres. Was there like some factory error which too much paint was applied or a reissue which made them less of a eye sore?
>>
>>10624201
I have the pink tag FW Godzilla MMS. Mine looks nearly identical to pic related. I've seen some where they applied a lot of paint that bled onto the hands too much. Maybe they tried to release later ones with less paint on the claws (making it look more accurate)?

Today I found out about these little buildings from some gashapon ultraman line and ordered as many as I could find available on Mandarake, they seem to be the appropriate size to display along Godzilla from what I saw. Also Gigan because why not, it was only a few extra bucks and I want to expand my minuscule collection

I ordered the other Heisei Gamera figures I was missing, half out of wanting them and half out of FOMO. I want them, just have been banking on them always being available for me to casually buy anytime. I'm worried if they make more Gamera figures then these will become less available over time.
Also hoping they make Gamera from Gamera the Brave and Zedus eventually.
>>10624267
Ooh, if you are able to, can you share pictures of what it looks like with your figures? Always been interested in those, never went out of my way to buy them though.

So how are the Hiya Toys Godzillas? Do they have better sculpts than monsterarts?
>>
That Tamashi Nations store that got made nearby has me tempted to get a Gamera Rebirth Monsterarts, but I don't think I can handle another multi-hundred dollar part of the hobby. Is it fine just getting it and a Shin Goji and walking out? Was the latter any good? And if not, what are some relatively cheap alternative Monsterarts to get?

>So how are the Hiya Toys Godzillas?
Good. Obviously, the articulation isn't as good as the SHMA, but they are still very solid.
> Do they have better sculpts than monstersarts?
in hard detail... no. The softer plastic really makes it so that they can't hold as much detail as the SHMA's harder plastic The new KOTM Godzilla doesn't have as much of a problem with this as the previous figures though and I'd say that the head sculpt is way better than the degraded hed mold for the SHMA GVK Godzilla. However, in general, the sculpts are more film-accurate than the SHMA sculpts even if not as detailed. The Hiya Kong is a bad figure though, so I'd suggest grabbing the SHMA. It's not film accurate, but it's got much better articulation and much better sculpted detail.
>>10624943
I really enjoy the latest Shin Godzilla, but it's got issues with the teeth that are pretty much inexcusable for the price, especially since it is a 7-year-old sculpt that could easily have had its head retooled like the recent Gamer reissue that has a vastly improved head sculpt.
>what are some relatively cheap alternative Monsterarts to get?
The days of $75 Monsterarts seem to mostly be over. The New "Standard" price for a basic Godzilla is $90. The cheapest still available SHMA figures are the Monsterverse figures (which, outside of the Kong, I would just advise you to get the Hiya versions instead) and the 1954 Godzilla which is like the third time SHMA has reissued the figure in seven years.
>>
>>10624979
That's good to hear. Even if they're not quite as posable, they seem to be better looking than the obvious head sculpt issues with SHMA. Good thing I already have the SHMA Kong too.
>>
>>10624931
I wouldnt say better but absolutely similar. I have all of the monsterarts and hiya counterparts and the Hiya get the sculp and articulation almost the same. The plastic is different so the hiya stuff could be called a little softer but at the price points, they are absolutely a replacement option for monsterarts. The quality difference is noticeable but if you told me they were both Bandai prices I wouldnt be surprised. Hiya being so cheap makes it the winner. If you had a hard budget, it would be hard to reccomend a SHM over a Hiya of the same monster.

It will be 4 or 5 weeks until I get them, but absolutely, I'll share pictures once they arrived

So I found out something a bit interesting. Apparently there are two different version of the pink tag era MMS figures. One which as the marvel Godzilla trademark with the year that figure was release, and then another one which as "Licensed by Toho" on it as well as extra text on the bottom left which I cannot read since it's in Japanese. I managed to find two images of Kiryu (Drill Hand) which was released that time to show the proof. I'm not sure what this means as perhaps Bandai re-released the MMS probably after being put on "Hiatus" or it could be something as stupid as they ran out of Godzilla trademark stickers. Also this isn't just a Kiyru thing as my Finalgoji figure also has the licensed by Toho symbol as well yet seen other peoples have the godzilla trademark logo
>>

Oh dang, found this online. The new Keizer Ghidorah actually looks not too bad at all when given a proper paint job. Faces are still not as good as they should be, yet you can tell most of the sculpt is there (just painted badly).

Not always the case. Bootleggers are sometimes known for placing the proper stamps on the mold whenever they get hold of them. An infamous example being the Memorial box Godzilla 1964 and the 8 inch Kiryu Goji theater exclusive 2003 (the ice one).

>>Godzilla Minus one and unknown monster B
I doubt Monster B actually exists. It's just going to be a normal scaly Godzilla and then a "burned" alternate color version based on what we know from the trailer.
>>
>>10629136
It is strange to me that if a second monster does exist that they haven't shown him in any of the promotional material. Even for Godzilla 2000 where it was supposed to be more of a surprise they still hinted at him in the poster.
Minus One coming out in only about two months and no second monster shown or teased means there really is no second monster or Toho's doing a wonderful job at keeping it under wraps. I'm still on the fence personally.
>>
>>10629169
Some people were speculating that there are two Godzillas, and humans kill one, so then its mate chimps out and attacks Tokyo. It wouldn't make sense for Toho to conceal a second monster like Anguirus, since a monster vs monster battle would be a huge draw to get people excited about the movie.
>>
>>10629169
>It is strange to me that if a second monster does exist that they haven't shown him in any of the promotional material.
None of the promotional materials for Godzilla (2014) even hinted that there were other monsters in the movie, let alone actually outright showed the MUTOs. They weren't seen until a commercial that came out either right before or right after the movie's release.

Gigan looks great sculpt-wise, and maybe this is just the lighting in these pictures, but aren't the green sections of his body a little too dark? I almost thought they were black like the old Bandai figure for a second.
>>
>>10633828
Gigan's color has always been up for debate when it comes to Bandai. Bandai thought Gigan green sections were black, and then made them teal blue/green due to getting only a single picture from that movie which would remain the case until the recent MMS rerelease which gives him the suit accurate green.

Reason why the colors been off is Godzilla vs Gigan for a long time had a bad rip transition from film reel to VHS/Home Media until around 2004-05 when a good copy of the movie was converted since apparently Toho lost the original film as well was Terror of Mechagodzilla (Gigan film was found sometime in the late 90s early 2000s while Terror was found sometime in the 80s, but due to poor care, the audio was distorted especially the monster noises as would explain why Godzilla sounds more high pitch than usual)

For SHMA's case, it's accurate at least from certain shots in the movie such as Gigan's and KG's raid on that oil refinery.

What is the point of lying on the internet when most of us have bought something from Mandarake and can very easily look at the prices figures have sold for? Biollante, Super Mechagodzilla, Rodan, and Mechaking Ghodorah had their prices drop because they just had reissues, but most of the Heisei era figures are well beyond MSRP
Destroyah is selling 44k yen

Holy hell what a heated response over plastic godzilla figures. Nobody in their right mind would buy SHMA from Mandarake. They've bought wholehog into the scalping market. Mercari is definitely your best bet for scooping up deals. Most of mine have come from there or Yahoo Auctions. There is a better way than paying scalpers. My point is, Bandai is taking advantage of their consumers by foisting upcharged decade-old molds on them, and people dont have to take it.

Lemme get this straight: you are in such disbelief that a for-profit company would fleece you for these figs that you're demanding receipts on an anonymous basket-weaving forum because I'm suggesting people not pay nearly double for a 10-year old figure? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? You do realize that Bandai may not have your best interests at heart, right?
Also, even new figures have been handled by factory workers before they are shipped. Sorry to say, but your figgie has been tainted by some hapless chinese worker. Paying more for it and bragging isn't going to change that.
>>

>heated response
lol, I just want to know why you're lying
> Mercari
>Yahoo Auctions
almost no different from ebay. The last non-damaged Spacegodzilla to sell on Mercari was 400 USD same goes for Destroyah. Sure, you can find them for cheaper if you are willing to buy broken figures, but that's hardly a fair comparison when I can pre-order it brand new for $135.

https://www.eknightmedia.com/godzilla-vs-spacegodzilla-spacegodzilla-fukuoka-decisive-battle-ver-s-h-monsterarts-action-figure-by-bandai-tamashii-nations.html

>Bandai is taking advantage of their consumers by foisting upcharged decade-old molds on them, and people dont have to take it.
The original Spacegodzilla was $85 when it was released 11 years ago, inflation would bump that up to $113 today which sucks but that's a fact of life in this shit economy. Are the two new arms pieces worth the upcharge from 113 to $135? No, especially since the arms are a replacement for the corona beam not an addition to it, but pretending like Bandai is fleecing the customers while resellers are going to save people money is a joke. You're comparing a new figure with new accessory pieces that costs $22 more than it should to old figures that are either damaged or being sold for triple MSRP.
>>
>>10635213
Cry harder bitch boy. Next time you lie about prices you paid for things you don't have just post receipts and you won't get called out like the stupid bitch you are. Nobody cares if a company is charging more. That's literally every company ever currently. You crying about this specific toy company makes you look ridiculous.
>>
Is this set out of the question for reissue now? I really wanted them to reissue this two pack even if they changed the colors. I guess I'll just get space by himself and the shitty mms of jr
>>
>>10635287
Says the troll being a gigantic douchebag and sucking on Bandai's fart fumes.
>>
>>10635248
Look, I can only speak as to my own experiences. It's clear that you've made up your mind about what you're willing to pay for. To each their own. I'm just disappointed that alot of people's first Spacegodzilla is gonna be overpriced and sporting an eyesore of a paintjob.
>>
All I want is my mini godzilla vs6mechagodzilla set featuring cameo by dog God kaiju

>>

Just say you're getting priced out like the poor bitch you are. Me spending more money on things than you shouldn't matter to you to the point you get this salty and cry about corporations ripping people off.
>>
>>10635433
I'm fairly certain nobody itt cares at all how you spend your money. It's just supremely strange to run defense for a major corporation and take pride in the opportunity to pay more money on an anonymous forum. Everybody needs something to keep living for, I guess.

If I had to guess, we're probably getting Junior with a Moguera reissue similar to how Rodan was included with Super Mechagodzilla. I can't wait for Bandai to screw us out of either Moguera's accessories or Junior's crystals though.
>>10635377
look, dude, It's clear that you're invested in hating Bandai. Which I can totally get, they've been consistently removing accessories for years now and they for some reason treat Gamera, Monster Hunter, and now even Yugioh better than Godzilla, but you keep saying that it'd be cheaper to get an aftermarket SHMA, and that's not true with the older Heisei figures. Show me your mint condition Destroyah and Spacegodzilla that you got for near MSRP and I'll believe you, but I have notifications turned on for both Spacegodzilla and Destroyah on Mandarake and I regularly search Mercari so I know you are either vastly exaggerating the deals you got or lying because you want to shit on Bandai.
>>
>>10635468
It's equally as strange to try and stop people from spending money on things they want and can afford. Can't you see the other side of this retarded argument?
>>10635469
Why do care what my deal is? Ignore me retard.
>>
You people just can't help but reply, huh?

>>10635343
It was an exclusive, so legally it can't be reissued. A redeco could be possible, but that would be a new release and not a reissue.
>>
>>10635477
How about you drown in a lake so we don't have to listen to your ignorant ass anymore?
>>
>>10636093
>legally
What the fuck would be illegal about it?
>>
>>10636387
It's because of some anti-racketeering law in Japan. If an item is sold as a "limited edition", then it can't be sold again later on. Redecoes are technically new figures, which circumvents that issue.
>>
>>10636408
Ah, that's actually based. Nips on top of the collecting game.
>>
>>10636093
Isn't all SHMA's technically an exclusive?
>>
>Expected Availability: Mid-September
Pretty sure we're now more than past the middle of September. Fuck is going on over at Godzilla store USA?
>>
>>10636977
They'll show up either at the tail end of the month or just get removed from the site without explanation. I feel this is too good to be true so I think the latter will end up happening
>>
I got that night color version of Godzilla 2019.

I uh...

Haven't been this let down by a toy in a while. This is just...pathetic. And I'm a sucker for having bought it. There's barely anything about this that makes it worthy of being a special variant paint job or anything.
>>
>>10637316
That's what happens when you fall for a fomo reissue.
>>
>>10637316
What's so bad about it?

>>10637340

It's just a solid black Godzilla with BARELY any blue paint spritzed on the legs and arms. There's nothing about it that makes it pop, nothing stands out. I thought it was missing all paint apps when I got it out of the box. But putting light on it showed there's some faint blue...

It just sucks. I was expecting something more impressive or crazy colors. Like these poster versions of past figures. Fucking hell. Glad I didn't pay TOO much for it, but what a lame release. These'll rot on Tamashii store shelves if people are smart.

not him but i took a vacation to japan and found a good condition destroyah in a random store in kyoto for around $80 USD (that i didnt get cause i spent too much on the rest of the trip)
>>
>>10637399
Do you have any in-hand pics? That description has me intensely curious.
>>
>>10637467
There's plenty of videos of people who have it on hand and its basically probably the same as his knowing SHMA paint app record. Like this shill

>>
>>10635475
I've actually found that the vast majority of "broken" Destroyahs I've come across are only damaged on part of the wing. Those tiny ball joints for the thinner wing membrane portions tend to snap pretty easy. I've had success buying a wing-damage destroyah and then grabbing a junk one for cheap and transplanting the wing. Kind of a low-tech solution, but for ~$150, maybe it could help you get close to your mint Destroyah.
>>
>>10637545
Wow, that is....not great
>>
>>10637545
This rate this is basically just a neutral state GvK Godzilla that never released until now. Not sure why they couldn't just release this with the first kong release and then the atomic breath version with the SDCC Kong.

Find me a company that isn't doing the same you stupid asshole overseas or not. I'm not defending them but they're not exactly a company you would expect to be looking out for it's consumers and not raising prices when literally every company on earth did the same shit over the last couple of years.
What we all need to do is stop buying this shit en masse to send a message but nobody will step up.

Every single game console for the past 10 years. All been roughly the same price as the one that came before, Be it Nintendo, Sony, Xbox etc. Always around the 500-600 dollar range, never higher or lower.

Final Wars really has been getting short end of the stick when it comes to paintjobs more than any other Godzilla movie in the modern MMS era. Aside the ones from the 2004-05 period which think were pink tags, the only one that doesn't disappoint me is Hedorah

Speaking of the 2021 release might be the few if not only times where the reissue is cheaper than the original. 2021 cost 65 dollars in MSRP while 2018 was 70. Think the only other time was Birth Godzilla was cheaper than the first burning Godzilla and the first 94 release.

Highly unlikely considering he's a reissue of the Memorial Box version which was already different in color to even if its subtle. If your not sold on this version, just get the memorial box version. I say since before this USA reissue came out, the memorial box with the card with was about like 20 bucks more than that this GSE version and one I saw was going for get this 60 fucking dollars which is kind of a steal if you ask me.

Still on the fence if I should get the Super MechaG at the Godzilla store.

Sweet, good choices! You will like them all. The Shin Godzilla Moon color is especially really nice to look at in hand. You used the KAIJU15 code right?

>>
>>10637969
I'm with the other anon- I wouldn't count on an 84 recolor. That would be real cool if they did, but the recolors seem to be fairly random (outside Hedorah, which I'm sure we'll keep getting recolors of).
>>10638253
Darn. Oh well, hopefully they'll give use more discounts in the future too!
>>
Is that Monsterarts Rodan SP worth the 54 bucks? It looks kinda cute, and would make for a faux-Gyaos for Gamera to fight.
>>
>>10638202
Its in MSRP so probably the cheapest you will get Super MechaG
>>
>>10638202
I did! It took a nice chunk out of my order which was nice. If you're thinking about getting Super Mecha G I'd say now is the time to grab him. I'm thinking I'll probably grab him too along with the vintage color variants if they're still up in a few days
>>
Longshot, but does anyone have both the Super7 Godzilla and the SoC Kiryu? I know the super7s turned out pretty badly. I'm curious of how the two look side by side
>>
Courtesy of Christ from TK. In private. It's anonymous here so lol

NECA did *lose* the license but not because Playmates took it away. The owner of NECA had a business meeting around the time when the emails went to retailers they couldn't make more and he was basically piss drunk, bitching at Toho and Legendary marketing people they were taking too long to make things happen and needed to do more. They pulled the license from NECA there, and in NECA's contract it opened up the floodgates for the likes of Subpar7, Bandai America, and Mezco to get in the ring with more product on the market.

This wasn't on Playmates at all, it was 100% on the owner of NECA being a jerkoff.
>>
>>10638885
Probably fake but I choose to believe it because its funny
>>
>>10638885
Regardless, with it and playmates out of the picture (outside legendary IP stuff). Bandai will now be releasing MMS here in the states and has begun today with the Godzilla store selling some exclusives that were out of print for (except Retro Megalon and Super Mechagodzilla)

Do you guys think Bandai would make a normal 1993 Rodan that isn't Fire Rodan?
>>10638468
>>10638556
Ah yeah you are both right. I went for him after all. My main concern is straightening out the Goruda cannons when it arrives. I'm not sure what is the best method for doing that.
>>
>>10639400
Get a popsicle stick and put plastic tape on it and keep it on for a few days
>>
>>10639400
They did it's called the memorial box Rodan
>>
>>10639404
Oh! Thankyou! I'll try that!
>>10639405
Oh yeah, sorry I should have re-phrased that: Do you think they'll release a 1993 non-Fire Rodan like the Memoral Box one? I think the new Fire Rodan is slightly different than the previous mold. I'd imagine it wouldn't take too much work to produce one. Maybe the question is if it'd be popular enough to sell at retail alongside Fire Rodan.
>>
>>10639416
Unlikely and if they did do a pre Fire Rodan, it would probably be Godzilla Store Exclusive. Also Bandai's hands are full as it is going into next year with two Godzilla films in the span of 5-6 months apart each other as well as other things like anniversary to older films like GvMG, GvSG, and Final Wars. Basically what getting at is just get the memorial box version if you really want it, it's also usually pretty cheap even with a card attached around the 30-40 dollar range (Also knowing modern MMS, the paintjob of the memorial box will be light years better than the new mold getting the pre fire treatment.)
>>
>>10639502
>30-40 dollar range
Nice, thank you! I had no idea! I just assumed it was in the 100 range with the other ones. I might keep an eye an out for him then. He's my favorite Rodan design, with the KotM design in close second. I wish we got a better Bandai MMS KotM Rodan figure, I think he deserved it.
