If my budget wasn't already shot I'd probably grab a squad of the baddies and maybe some of the more interesting monster figures. They look fun and I always enjoy the idea of a Monsterverse full of these classic monsters, doubly so if they have that tacticool steampunk element to em.

But it's hard to buy supplemental items for the Classified line when the Classified line itself does not stop with their releases. I thought this would be some short lived mini-series and now I'm sitting at like 50ish of these guys, and I'm not even going hard with the army builders.

Yea I know what you mean. I'm kind of lucky they have hit the majority of my core characters so I can hold out and focus more on the vehicles from now on but then they go and do stuff like the Valkyries or that HISS fire team. I haven't even been able to try out some of the Valaverse figures yet but I'd like to get their Steel Brigade and some of these Monster Force figures as well. Dr. Caligari looks really nice despite being a pretty barebones figure compared to the others.

Little Armory's UGV next to a Joe.
It's a fun design. It features a regular machine gun braced to the robotic frame (it's not meant ot be removed, but it's cool to see the gadgetry up close). The articulations are hard plastic unlike other model kits, but it's not like you're goint to be moving them all the time, so they work fine. Full armament is the machine gun and four grenade launchers. The control equipment includes an XBox controller that may be useful for unrelated scenes.
It's not expensive by Little Armory standards.

Picked up my Vals, Vypra and Big Ben the other day. I'm enjoying them all, but Big Ben is easily my favorite. Just a really solid military figure in general with the only downside of the usual soft weapons. For an opportunistic parts reuse, Vypra is surprisingly striking. She could use some more paint or detailing on her all-black pants but other than that she's fun.

They REALLY don't want you swapping heads in Classified, it's unreal. I had a slight hope some ML heads might work, I thought about doubling down the valkyries, but the pegs on the necks are just too small. In fact, they're also too small for the Classified line, because Baroness, movie Baroness, and Zarana's head cavities are all also too big for the tiny ass pegs on these two figures.
Is there any solution to this? I think I've heard of people using clay or something inside the head hole to make it fit around a smaller peg, but I've never tried anything like that before.

Fill the socket in the head with hot glue and rub a layer of vaseline over the neck peg. The vaseline won't stick to the hot glue so you can still move it around and pop it off when you want to.

I fixed mine with heatshrink tubing for wires. It's cheap and easily shrinks down if you hit it with a hairdrier on max, just layer two or three layers over the peg and it will grip the inside of the head socket.

You can also try to swap out the ball pegs as well. Sometimes the bottom peg fits the neck hole or you can just shave it down a bit if it’s too big. That’s what I did when swapping heads from ML with the Joe line.

Insert the ball into the tube and clip it off and then hit it with the heat, it shrinks down smooth against the ball joint. Usually two layers, or maybe 3, will thicken the ball up enough to hold the head in place. Big Boa was created to be a Cobra rival for Rocky, back when Hasbro thought that they'd done a deal for Rocky Balboa to be part of the GI Joe line. The deal supposedly fell through because Stallone had signed a deal with another toy company which gave them exclusive rights to produce toys bearing his likeness.

I guess no bubble till Monday, got the girls though. Pretty nice set, gonna try to tear into it later, but I will say that I hope hasbro keeps this packaging for classified. The footlocker is just whatever but it's nice, I just enjoy the portraits on the figure holder.

What vehicle would be cool to have done for the next Classified HasLab? I'd like to see the good old MOBAT or the Mauler done, they're not massive and they're just cool. MOBAT reminds me of a combination of the Sheridan and "Starship" tanks, and the Mauler's funny gun-shroud gives me vibes of that one canned experimental tank from the 80s.

I'd be down for a good Joe Tank, as long as it seated a crew of at least three figures. One of the reasons I was never a fan of the original Mobat...despite ended up with at least three of em...is that it barely fit a single Joe. The Mauler was a much better tank imo because it had seating for a full crew, which made it much more fun to play with.

Unlike real tanks, toy tanks usually have tons of space to work with. But so many toy companies just leave it all empty and boring. So it's nice when you actually get a tank with some decent usable internals and space for multiple figures.

So I just opened up my Valkyries and I gotta admit, the tan webgear isn't as bad in person. The weapons are still awful and will be binned, but the figure itself looks pretty good. I decided to remove the leg holsters from both figures so now they each get a black pistol and I feel that helps the look immensely.

Just out of curiosity I decided to check to see if there's any loose singles of these girls on ebay, cause I'd love to have a three person fireteam of them. To no surprise, the tan figure is the most common solo listing, but what is a surprise is the price most people are asking for. For what people expect to get back from just one figure could get me the whole set from a reliable store. Guess I'll have to wait a while in hopes of the prices dropping. I don't really mind if the tan geared one is the "troop" of the set, but I won't be paying what most people are asking for as these figures just aren't THAT great.

I agree but maybe I'm just biased because I live in the desert so it fits well with my natural environment. Also looking at it closer, I think painting some of the details black will make it better. Same with the weapons. I'm going to do a wash and add some black to the grips and whatnot. Painting Beachhead's guns really helped them to not look cheap so it should work here too.

Joking aside the spare Marvel heads I have that fit the Vals the best are the Emma Frost one from her black suit version and the Mary Jane Watson one, but I'd have to fill out the sockets a bit to make them fit.

The Mrs surprised me with scrap iron. Very very happy, if his face is as nice as copperhead or spirit I'll just be over the moon. Either way, I'll need scappy for the hiss tank and it's always nice when you get a gift.

I guess I more mean that IIRC the color palletes were swapped, and that color scheme on the last "officer" was technically the color of the old O-ring standard PP Trooper.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I do remember it being pointed out that something with the color schemes was wrong about the Classified standard trooper and supposed Officer.

The last one was originally a "Trooper" but used the Officer. The "Officer" used the Trooper body. All because someone at Hasbro fucked up in the 80s, But modern Hasbro was trying to fix it so the last one was the Officer and this was suppose to be the trooper... except they did the Trooper colors on another Officer body. Yeah you weren't kidding about the tricky fit with female Marvel heads. Some sit okay on the neck but a lot are either too low or too high up. And none of the long-haired ones fit over the backpack, of course.

I never almost never use the backpacks for displaying anyway, with the Vipers or CGs or Zartan it's just a heavy piece of plastic that throws off balance and would probably warp the legs/ankles if left for too long.

For this one the ball joint was way too small so I took some advice from a thread or two ago and used three layers of heat-shrink wire coating and made the thing like 2.5x bigger and now the ML head snaps on like it needs to. For the other, the trooper ball joint was actually perfectly sized to fit, but the ML head sat too high on the neck so I took a phillips head screwdriver that was roughly the same circumference and just ground at the inner plastic until the hole was an inch or so deeper.
