Another teaser update for the next Classified HasLab.
>>
>>10438043
Really? Another Haslab after the Hell Charger and Rancor failure? Mighty kek
>>
>>10438046
Are you unaware that the HISS Tank sold like gangbusters?
>>
>>10438049
No, you don't understand, it was a fluke. there aren't that many Joe fans, there are a handful of figures that are easy to get so there is no sales, ignore the fact that the line is continuing at all, ignore that they are planning several out.

No it will never happen and the many many times haslabs have succeeded are trivial to the few failures.

Cobra Viper 3 pack update.

Called Hasbro, complained loudly about the factory fuck-up three pack I got at Gamestop. Sent them photos of the fucked up Viper figure and the rep agreed to mail me a replacement without forcing me to send back the entire set.

New set arrived today. White Viper wasn't a frankenstein freakshow with black arms.

However, in a bit of irony, the replacement set I got had two sniper rifles and only one of the sci-fi guns! Not going to complain about that mix up since I prefer real guns over the sci-fi stuff!
>>
How come no one is talking about the fact that that Mezco Destro finally came out? Was he that shit, or did everyone just give up on thinking he was ever coming out?
>>
Anyone know what gloved hands are compatible for the Joe figures in the Classified? The Joe figures seem to have hands with short connector numbs but the Cobra figures have longer slender nobs that aren't compatible with the Joe arms. And vice versa.

Want to give Dusty and Bazooka gloved hands but can't find any gloved hands from my Cobra figures that fit their ports.
>>
>>10438145
Cool that they added the tattoo, probably not a cheap print either, and that looks well done, assuming that's production. And with Beachhead on the horizon, I wonder if I should get into the line. So far 4/4 masked characters. I wonder if they want to make sure whatever face printing they use is nailed down. It's also really good to see double jointed arms on regular sized 4" figures.

It was the epitome of the toyline, something that every vehicle afterwards tried to aspire to be, but none could even come close. Even my parents would play with it sometimes. It brought my family closer together. I owe everything to this little sub. May you venture the seas forever, little Sea Wolf.

I think it might be a few years before we fully understand what a setback that movie was to the IP. It was supposed to get a fresh batch of kids into the IP like Spy Troops, Sigma 6, and the movies did before it, but it was so devoid of any of what makes the GI Joe IP special that it's had even less of a cultural footprint than Sgt. Savage or G.I. Joe Extreme. Not making the main line 1/18 scale was a huge mistake, but so was the movie itself, so it's just as well that they don't fit with an established line.

I've ranted about why the movie was trash enough in these threads. Suffice to say, Hasbro put all their chips on a lame horse and now GI Joe is pretty much an adult collector line only except for the GI Joe dads who have kids. I'm sure in a few years Hasbro will try again but they will likely have less creative control over it since they are getting out of the movie business. And a fat lot of good that creative control did them when they sabotaged their own movie as bad as any third party studio hack could.
>>
>>10438645
What was so bad about it exactly? I thought it was okay at best. But I don’t understand the hatred it gets.
>>

Both GI Joe Haslabs were overwhelming success, achieving all stretch goals except one.
>>
>>10438667
What was the other GI Joe Haslab besides the hiss tank?
>>
>>10438649
I'll just copypasta what I said in the last /tv/ thread about that movie:

>The minute they decided all ninjas have to be Asian because of race politics the movie was fucked. They changed and simplified parts of his backstory in Rise of Cobra but he was still ostensibly the same character he'd always been.

>Snake Eyes is a white outsider who was brought into the clan by Tommy / Storm Shadow. That is an essential part of his backstory. He was also in the US military before he wore the all black getup, and in the Snake Eyes movie he is never shown to be in the military at all. In the comics it's explained that his face is kinda fucked up from the helicopter crash, and he has damaged vocal chords, which Rise of Cobra never addressed, given that the GIJOSE changed or left out everything else about his backstory, it's a complete different character. Lastly, the real Snake Eyes is not driven by revenge or vengeance. He's driven by loyalty and duty, and he still sees Storm Shadow as his brother even though they are enemies. He doesn't even wear the costume until the very end of GIJOSE, and he never loses his ability to speak because "we can't silence Asians" or some dumb bullshit.

>Ray Park was an absolute pro about being Snake Eyes. He was already a fan of the IP from childhood and he understood that the role was bigger than himself. He never demanded a one-liner or a mask off scene. He did all his acting with his body and it worked. Henry Golding sees himself as bigger than the role and above it, and he would not have taken the role if he had to spend a significant amount of time in a mask or if his character had to stop speaking, because they were hoping GIJOSE would serve as a reboot for a GI Joe Cinematic Universe and they knew he wouldn't come back if he had to wear a mask and couldn't talk, and they wanted this "huge star's" face on a poster. This was a Henry Golding movie, not a Snake Eyes movie, and nobody showed up to watch a Henry Golding movie.

If you're willing to spend the money, Mezco Destro is THe Destro. My first Mezco and he's much more impressive in person than in photos. Zero complaints, and I love how easily his joints articulate and how easily yet snug you can swap out pieces.
>>
>>10438691
Super7 will be better.
>>
>>10438702
It's around half the price and at least 4 times as bad. And Mezco is usually trash so what does that tell you.
>>
>>10438691
yeah, i pretty much stopped giving a shit about Hasbro's Classified line once Mezco announced they had the license. Wasn't even really collecting the Classified line though, as i have like 5 figures and most of those were gifted to me.

One:12 is my go to for 1:12 figures, even for Marvel and DC. Been hooked to the line ever since their very first Dark Knight Returns Batman. Better than Hasbro's lines and even stuff from Mafex and Figma.

My Destro is sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS and I'm mulling over what i should buy to go with him, as it's convention season and i can find better deals at the showrooms.

I finally started accumulating parts to build a custom classified-scale Mr. T / B.A. Baracus, and I'm basically following what Kobocop for his. AEW Ortiz body with WWE Legends Mr. T parts. I couldn't find the same bracelets he used at a price I was comfortable with but I did find some that I think will accomplish basically the same thing. Picrel is his, not mine, although if I do it right mine will be similar. I might paint his shoes up as chucks instead of black-tipped white sneakers.

I (briefly) considered looking into trying to swap his arms with some Roadblock ones and going bare-armed but honestly, the red softgoods shirt is really the brilliant part that makes this work, and I don't want to tread too far into uncharted territory.

I gotta say, Jazzwares is someone to pay attention to in the action figure scene. I've never bought a thing from them before and I'm not even into wrestling, but I would love to see a military / action hero line from them someday. I will have to shave down some plastic to get a bit more range on the arms but it'll be covered up by the red shirt, so I'm not worried. I'm also working on Classified customs of Rambo and John Matrix and I'm excited to see how they turn out.
>>
>>10438866
>he didn’t get to experience the Sea Wolf in all its glory

>>
>>10438942
No it’s not.
>>
>>10438945
Yes it is. Why is the middle just randomly a smooth material and different color? Why is there a small patch of texture on the chin? It looks really really bad.
>>
>>10438949
It's to imply that it's a mesh material that he can breathe through. The Classified Series Beach Head has the same thing and so does Valaverse Blowback (I own both).
>>
>>>10438145 stores charging mark up
yeah, Hiya lists it at $19.99, but not a single store I've found is selling it at that price.
>>
>>10438949
You’re a literal retard who clearly has never seen tactical stuff
>>
>>10438691
I was surprised how much I like him. I don't normally think mezco stuff looks great but with this figure the weird proportions are cancelled out by the design and fact he's supposed to be sort of huge and imposing. Not sure I will pick any more up though because the rest look much worse.

>>10438763
The gauntlet missiles are definitely my big complaint, no idea why its so easy to pop off. Not that easy to fix either, the peg is just too short for it to get a good grip even after thickening it. My other complaint is the gun holster; the straps feel really fragile for something you're supposed to be swapping the holsters on and I can see it breaking very easily if you do it a few too many times. Probably should have been secured to the leg but they wanted it to be removable.
>>
>>10438472
Nigro, the HAL Heavy Artillery Laser was in the line during the first year.
>>
Wow it's been awhile since a reveal huh?
>>
>>10439256
Classified had some within a month, Hiya had one yesterday. Unless you mean Mezco or Super7, then we've gotten news.
>>
>>10438949
I have a halfmask with the same thing I use for work in the winter. The middle part is thinner mesh to make it easier to breath, the thicker chin padding is to make it more comfortable to wear and talk in. That's the part that will also see the most wear and tear so it's thicker so it doesn't rip apart as fast.

These are all basic, real life concepts used on a modern balaclava mask, which works just fine for Beachhead.
>>
>>10438472
You know you're allowed to mod it however you like, right? I've seen people adding tank and machine guns to it as well as missile pods.
>>
>>10439038
>>10438145
Because they're imported. Hasbro put a block on Hiya being able to sell them in North America through retailers in the contract. So you pay the import price or you don't get the figures
>>
>>10439327
Well hopefully they change that. It's not like Hasbro is producing modern 4" Joe's to compete with them. I found a place selling them for $25 so I just placed an order for Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Hiya is Chinese though, and should have local distributors in various countries.
If you look at the non-US/English pages on places like Robot Kingdom and other foreign sites that sell the figures, they're still marked up over their MSRP.

This makes me believe that Hiya doesn't have localized distribution in other countries and Hiya doesn't have euro/asian distributors, which would account for euro/asian stores needing to pay extra from a non-local distributor.

In other words, wat?

>>
>>10439719
If I had to pick one, it'd be the R.H.I.N.O. I know it's not a vintage vehicle, but it pretty much ticks all the boxes for what I'm looking for in a vehicle. It's large, but not overwhelmingly so, it requires a multi-figure crew, has troop carrying capacity, has a decent load out and it's gimmick is actually a lot of fun and doesn't really ruin the toy.

I have the blue RoC version and subsequently built a squad of all the blue camo/reactive armor RoC figures I collected to man it. Still need to get me one more figure to work the com station, but otherwise it's fully crewed.

Rolling Thunder would be up on the list, but there's too many little things about it I wasn't too fond of. Open seat turrets, it's unwieldy size, and most of all the fact that it was an ICBM Clusterbomb mobile launch vehicle used...by G.I. Joe. That kind of firepower always seemed a bit too indiscriminate for the "good guys" to use in my head, and with all the turrets and missiles, I always felt it would've been better off as a Cobra vehicle.

>>10439931
The colors on the Hiya one make it look weird. The Classified one works better because while it does have different colors, they're all similar shades of military greens so it's less jarring.

I need an Alley Viper repaint. Hopefully that's one of the reveals this time.
>>
>>10447222
Same. I hope they do a red and black version and take a page out of this Arctic B.A.T. playbook and give them a new helmet that looked like the original design we were supposed to get with Classified.
>>
>>10447247
Man...this design with the 90's yellow-black AV color scheme would work so well
>>
>>10447031
Sadly it's the only way they can sell vehicles now. Target and Walmart aren't going to be ordering larger boxed toys that are pricey and don't move.
>>
>>10447273
They're not even that expensive. The Baroness, Breaker, and TF Duke were what, $40-$50? Most big-box retailers carry shit that's way more expensive than that, and takes up way more shelf space.

Hell, they could probably sell the vehicles and figures alone, and maybe even make more money, and would take less actual shelf space.
>>
>>10447247
>>10447268
I'd be on board with either of these. The Yellow and Black v2.0 AV and the Maroon, black, and grey one from Pursuit of Cobra are my two most wanted repaints.

I could even see the black and yellow version being a straight repaint, just with the appropriate shield, and then do the POC version with the more modernized helmet and parts.

>Gotta wait till pay day to loan target $25 for a python guard, kinda stuck on which dusty looks better.

If you've never ordered from Target before, be warned: Their PO system fucking blows. I'll never PO a figure from them again. They charge you every single week, and then refund the money a couple days later, and they'll do this for the six months or so until the figure releases.

What's more, they'll occasionally send you an email and you'll need to re-confirm the order, and you've got like two days to confirm it, or they'll just cancel it, They also sometimes just unexpected cancel the order about a week before the figure releases after you spent months battling through this fiasco.

I POed two PP BATS and Vipers from them, and every week I got to watch $100 disappear, and then reappear in my account. It isn't even the same day that it comes out either. Honestly, the TF and PP figures became so abundant and easy to find at Target, I'm not even going to bother POing these guys. Literally all of the TF and PP figures got clearanced out for 50% off anyway.

wut

Back during the 1:18 era of awesomeness, i was gleeful for all the options available to me. My collection was growing exponentially and i was thankful i was living with my parents, because i was poor as fuck by enjoying such a high disposable income.

While the 1:18 market is growing again, it's a pretty damn ripoff compared to back then. Too many collector companies thinking they're high end shit, when their quality is worse than everything from back then.

What's the damage going to realistically get my hands on a HISS? I got into collecting after the funding and see people trying to sell them for $500+ on eBay. Any chance these might lower once they're released and people sit on the multiple tanks they bought?
>>
>>10450135
>I got into collecting after the funding and see people trying to sell them for $500+ on eBay.

They probably won't really go down much. Most of the Haslabs sell for waaay more than their original backing price on the aftermarket. Maybe you could get a deal if you just want the tank and don't care about the figures or something. I'm sure there will be people parting the tanks out.
>>
man, i woulda bought that classified stalker if his uniform was green instead of gray
>>
>>10450544
I'm sure taking that shawl off his shoulders improves the look dramatically. Besides he's green camo, he's like the snake eyes of green shirts imo. I wonder what a Sci fi version would've looked had hasbro kept going in that direction.
>>
>>10450135
I think the team said they weren't against the possibility of releasing it again at some point. It would probably just be without all the bonus stuff from stretch goals, electronics, and likely a different deco.

Ripcord is the first revealed stretch goal. Honestly I think he's a great one to throw in since he's a minor character but still has some very unique accessories and sculpt parts to offer. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I don’t remember ever seeing a crowdfunding campaign gatekeeping stretch goals for general backers. >>
>>10453209
Trouble re-securing the trademark name at the time. Companies used to re-use trademark names among lines and then forget to hold onto others. Less common these days. The bigger issue is companies like Hasbro wanting to use a trademark name and having to do like "Marvel's Rogue" instead of just "Rogue"

So if the Dragonfly is a HasLab, I hope the FANG can be a retail release. Or at least an exclusive similar to the Flight Pod.
>>
Anyone pissy that they aren't just fucking doing an alternate hat wearing head for Wild Bill instead of more of that removable hair/head shit? I mean, for the prices of this fucking thing, the least they can do is give Wild Bill an alternate head for fucks' sake.

Anyone bought a Haslab thing via paypal? Does it put a hold on my paypal balance or does it not not charge my paypal until the closing date?
>>
>>10453182
1. Wild Bill's going to be exclusive to this set meaning he won't get reissued as a stand-alone figure

2. Ripcord being exclusive to this set; even though he's in Night Force colors there is no guarantee he'll get reissued in regular colors at retail

3. Airborne potentially being exclusive to the set

4. Hawk being exclusive to this set, ESPECIALLY if it's the iconic brown jacket/brown haired version of Hawk.

5. Generally speaking, the exclusive figures in general since it brings up flashbacks to how many A-List characters were convention/sub club exclusive figures.

I'm just hoping Hiss Tank Driver is a solo release as well some atpoint too. Fucking love that design and like to have him a few times over. I backed the Hisstank but I don't have the room or really interest for more than one of the tank.
>>
>>10453282
>A-List characters were convention/sub club exclusive figures.
Who was it? I feel like all the A-listers short of Slaughter ended up at retail.
>>
>>10453182
That they are asking for another $275 preorder when they haven't shipped the last $300 preorder yet.
>>
>>10453276
They don't charge til the night the campaign ends. That's how they did my Victory Saber and deathsaurus. Would have got the hiss tank, but they had to have it and deathsaurus right together.
>>
>>10452800
Oh that thing's awesome, and it's pretty huge too. The stand also looks really nice, as are Wild Bill and Ripcord. This thing also being under $300 is a nice bonus as well, especially if we end up with four actual figures and tons of accessories by the end of it.

....but boy am I glad I don't care about the Dragonfly. I was worried I'd have to back this thing, and right now my toy budget is stretched super thin. Hopefully the next figure is Pilot Scarlet or Flight Suit Snake Eyes or some random crap.
>>

Zaranna, Dial Tone, Jinx, Metalhead, Captain Gridiron, Python Patrol Trooer, and Footloose.
>>
>>10453315
>Zaranna, Dial Tone, Jinx, Metalhead, Captain Gridiron, Python Patrol Trooer, and Footloose.

I feel like the closest to A-List would be Zaranna and Dial Tone since they played a bit in the Movie and that's really pushing it. I'm aware Gridiron was in the DiC series for a few episodes but the DiC series itself was about as close to A list as GIJoe Extreme.

A-listers for Joes is Duke, Scarlett, Snake-eyes, Roadblock, Flint, Lady Jay, Hawk Shipwreak, Beachhead, Gun-ho and Sprint for sure, some get a little dicer such as Dail Tone, Quick Kick.

Cobra imo is even easier with Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Zartan as the top 5 for sure with Serpentor, Mindbender, and others pulling up from there.

I have no clue how Python Patrol Trooer is an A-lister however but I get anon might have just been pouring out hot exclusives or grabbed the list from elsewhere
>>
>>10453172
>mattel, they do dumb stuff. Like tomorrow they got an exclusive that will sell out in an hour despite knowing the demand. They cater to a different group of people I guess
Amd I'm gonna wade into that shitfest because I'm an idiot. And I think the green tank man and spaceman armors for him look cool.
I'm also gonna wait on the Haslab. I've git a big surgery coming up and I'm going to be out of work for a couple months do I really should curtail my toy spending. Also, I just saw it's even bigger than the HISS is gonna be. I really don't know where I'd put it.

Careful. You're going to trigger the autist in this thread because you can't afford all of the toys in the world.

Ngl, I wish the smaller oddball sets like the Pogo would get a Classified update. Like, imagine if the JUMP got a refresh to look something like the Gravity jet pack.
>>
I'm glad this project goes on for so long. My first paycheck won't arrive until July 15th so I'll just barely make the deadline. Really hyped though, that Rip-Cord is sick!

Not sure where I'm gonna put this and my H.I.S.S. Tank though...

I primarily collect Transformers and Titan Class figures are enough of a hastle and they're two feet VERTICAL. I don't even begin to space out what I'll do with something that's two and a half horizontal.
>>
>>10453291
It will probably be Rip-It and not the regular driver.

And odds are it will be with a stripped down blue Hiss III - no electronics probably none of the Haslab bonuses.
>>
>>10453120
A shame there's no way to contribute or be able to get the new Dragonfly here in Australia. I like attack choppers and this is right up my alley.

Blue mecha is also from VOTOMS and it's a Calamity Dog.

And the company that tried to make Mospeada stuff was called Meps or something like that. They're selling unfinished sets as kits, but only the smaller Invid suit. The Shock Trooper he's saying he could sell the mold for.
>>
Damn I love that Rip-Cord but I don't 275 dollars love him. Don't really have room/care about the Dragonfly but if the other stretch goals are good figures I might throw a pre order down
>>
>>10453740
Eh it's not *that* big, it being horizontal and coming with a stand helps too.

They have stated both the male and female driver could see single carded releases with a slight redeco making the old toy more. Most think since they used the wording of "carded" and mentioned the toy deco that it'll be part of Walmart's retro style 6inh line. Which wouldn't be a shock, CC and the Trooper offered with the Skystriker showed up as mainline releases. I do think Rip-It has a good chance as single release too and over all if any of these happen it will be at least a year after the Hiss have been shipped out.

With the media of GIJoe it gets very fucking messy where Mutt had more time in the show than Wild Bill, now mind you performances can stick with people or the flip be completely forgotten because there wasn't much to the character (*cough* Lifeline, Grid-Iron) and then you have ones like Metalhead where it's Garry Chalk doing his best impression of Bobcat Goldthwait and that either sticks with you or becomes forgettable which further makes fan response messy.

For fun check out:

http://www.halfbattle.com/screentime.html

It's the screen time cataloging of all the Joes in all the series and movie. Duke to no surprise is the top Joe for Screen time but then it's Flint, Lady Jay, Scarlett and then Shipwreak and if you look at how it's separated that's just Sunbow Season 1 and 2 getting them that dominance of screen time and those would be the cartoon episodes most fans were exposed too. Metal Head hit's high as well but he was in every DiC episode along with CC and as much as it makes those fans reee the DiC series was never as liked or well received as Sunbows offerings.

>I was worried I'd have to back this thing, and right now my toy budget is stretched super thin

I'm the opposite right now, I just got a new higher-paying job that can afford me just a shit load of stuff like this. I will only be getting one myself but that only because I will also be buying a new car along with it.
>>
>>10454288
I don't ree about DiC being not as well liked because I know it's complete trash but I just want a new Metalhead because the dude was EVERYWHERE in the 90s Joe stuff and I still love the idiot.

Let's see how they play the stretch goals.
>>
>>10454792
It's funded as of now, so the fence sitters will start rolling in the closer we get to the goals. We should hit the first in about a day based on current gains, I hope they have them in the gun ready to show off.
>>
>>10454819
I'm sure they do since they're either made of parts they already have or planned to use in the mainline at some point anyway.
>>
>>10454838
I think the few of us who also had a vested interest in other haslabs can be a little un-easy with hasbro when they make dumb fucking choices. Like making an entire haslab around a character's anniversary and not including any stretch goals related to said character.

Or making a haslab around an iconic monster and not including the handler people wanted with said monster.
>>
>>10454495
this was my concern too.
>>
>>10454876
I dunno, the G.I. Joe team seems to be way better at catering to what fans want. Like of all their major "plastic free" lines, Classified's went above and beyond in making the box itself feel special. I don't see them having the same issues as the Star Wars or Marvel teams with their stretch goals. Especially not after all the great stuff the last two Joe projects came with.
>>
>>10454876
Well yea but that's because those teams are ran by retards. The only figure they couldn't show off right away for the HISS was Cobra Commander but it wasn't even that long before we got a render reveal. The Joe team seems to actually learn from their mistakes so I don't think we'll have the same issue this time.
>>
>>10454969
Joe team is desperate to not kill GI Joe for seven years again, especially after the movie
>>
>>10454792
>>10454819
Fence sitter here despite backing hiss very early in and I'm hoping the stretch goals are too good to pass. A life line would be a sure hit, a gunners station, winch a gurney but who would man the guns to provide only cover fire since lifeline is a pacifist? Hmm, sounds like a job for psyche out! Nows the chance hasbro, give this wretch of a man his toy dream of classified psyche out.

>>
>>10454991
As far as I'm concerned, Classified is Hasbro's best line. It's a shame the Joe franchise gets almost no support outside of having really good toys.

>>10455034
Frag Viper was always my number two Viper figure after Alley Viper (the yellow version). The crazy claw launcher thing and funky metal mosquito mask made him look like such a badass. I would love to see Classified versions of all of these guys. Even if there was heavy part reuse, the gear sets they'd come with would be insane.
>>
>>10455227
>It's a shame the Joe franchise gets almost no support outside of having really good toys
Outside of the line becoming online only in the UK it seems like that's enough to keep this going

Lenny (aka WeatherDominator on IG) is a big Joe fan who previously worked at the Joe Club. He was somewhat divisive during the Joe Club days during the Modern Era run, but he's trying to make the most of his new spot. He went with the modern, updated push to match the game, that bombed, and he pivoted to Classic. He doesn't want this line to die regardless of whether you like him or not because if it goes then we may not get it back again any time soon. So he tries harder then most to keep it going. I don't always like him because of those Club days, but I respect his effort to save the line from going under.

Dunno when it went live, so if I'm late mentioning it, eh, but Arctic B.A.T. is up on Gamestop for preorder.

I'm not interested in getting any of the snow-themed guys, so I'll probably skip and hope they release it under a different color scheme later.

Mr. T is basically finished now. Only thing left is the mini-14 for his primary which I'm currently waiting for in the mail. I had to get pic of him though so for now he's borrowing Sgt. Slaughter's AK-47. The compression shirt worked out excellent and I absolutely love how his chains look now that they've been trimmed, fitted and painted. I'm super pumped to have a Mr. T that fits with my Classified Joes.

A big issue you'll notice is the lines Hasbro out right owns they have more control over. All the failed Haslabs but one(Heroscape) are third parties that Hasbro pays the rights to use, meaning everything has to be green lighted by forces outside the company. What Oola as a stretch goal? To bad! Disney doesn't want that kind of shit existing so you can't do it. Want to do a spirit of Vengeance bike trio with Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, Vengeance and Johnny Blaze? Nah, Marvel isn't interested unless Robbie Reyes gets a shot first.

With GIJoe and Transfomers they can just look over the horizon and go "what do these buyers want?" and then make it. They can make a 6inch scale Hisstank that has three operators and a special Cobra Commander because there is no licensor going "oh, that's really not what we want to push right now, we want it to just be ninjas" They can make a highly detail Deathsaurus without someone stopping going "Our new movie is about Beast Wars, not some Japaneses only series, go do something else" That's not to say Hasbro can't cause it's own misfortune but with things like Backer projects it's maximum profits for the licenses they own so they are more flexible with what is done.
>>
>>10455902
it'll be awhile anon if we ever see 1/18 again for how saturated the market was for the past 15 years or so for the new retro and 40+ years for the OG 1/18. With no new movies games or shows keeping interest with buyers there market is by majority 40 somethings that own a lot of 1/18 already and midwitt scalpers
>>
>>10455931
>unless Robbie Reyes gets a shot first.
The part about that is they could have picked better stretch goals for Robbie alone, not even Ghostrider as a brand. His crippled brother, Blade, Brother VooDoo, toss in a repaint of the Hyde BAF, anything better than three characters who have a deeper connection to Johnny or Danny.

Mephisto just had an ongoing plotline involving Johnny and Strange, not Robbie. But as they say, being a Ghostrider fan is suffering, I do hope we get a Robbie figure at least to match the Ramen Racer.

Even if I am running out of room on the shelves, I'm going to get the dragonfly. I may pack up Galactus and the Sentinel to make room for the HISS tank, the Charger, and the choppa.
