Hello /lg/ anons, I have a collection of vintage 80s/90s LEGO sets I'm looking to sell. They're mostly Space (and many sub-themes), a couple of Castle, Underwater and a few other odds and ends. Guessing somewhere around 30-50 sets, all disassembled and bagged up individually with their instructions (pic related, an example for one of the larger Castle sets of its time. ). I have reason to believe every set packed up like this is complete, but I can't guarantee it. I'm looking to get the Bricklink/Brickset used average price for them more or less, but considering that Bricklink seems to prevent you from selling until you get a certain amount of reputation, it may be harder to get going. I started putting together a Brickset page with the collection.I also have an assortment of "loose" pieces and instructions that are not complete;an attempt to build out one or more of these sets didn't work unfortunately. I am wondering if it is worth it to try and find all the "missing" pieces and buy replacements online or if it sbetter to just sell the pieces as a "grab bag" and the instructions a la carte.

To me the experience of dumping out a used set, organizing all the parts on a table, creating a wanted list on bricklink for it, and then checking off each part as I go along is very peaceful and enjoyable. Its super satisfying when you find the set is complete. Also its the only way to get top dollar for your sets. If you don't complete them with missing pieces that would possibly be an investment of pennies you are leaving money on the table.
