I'm getting extremely frustrated with Acoustic Wave. I'm two hours into the transformation and have no clue what to do. I've followed multiple videos but every time I get here to the end, the buttons are way too far out so that the white can't clip into the legs, and the extending leg panels are way too far to be able to clip into the area beside the arms. It's like there's a step missing somewhere but I can't figure out what.

The flaps that clip in beside the button panel is about an mm too far out to fit underneath the panels they're supposed to go under, while the panels that fold down into the arms to form the bottom and rear corners of the cassette mode are a full 2 millimeters too far out. It's an incredibly unintuitive and sloppy transformation. I really liked the robot mode but this transformation has put this figure below the MP; the MP might break itself but at least it can transform.

I can see how people could be really disappointed by that when UT stuff doesn't see a ton of love so it kinda hurts to get an updated figure that just inexplicably doesn't match the style. If this was something like FlameToys where the over the top Yamaguchi-esque style was half the point of the line, that would be one thing but it's not.As a side note: I'm not that big on UT designs but I also had to point out that they just don't really fit into FH's wheelhouse. The stylization that is there looks really fucking off and it's clear FH just isn't very good at replicating those designs. They should have stuck to late G1 and G2. They were much better at that.

The plastic quality and matte surface finish makes me less worried about stressing the plastic by being a bit heavy-handed.The die-cast feet parts are also a pleasant touch, but I am a bit of a nostalgic sucker for die-cast in toys.As an aside, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that I definitely like the smaller figures over the larger ones. When it comes to the physical catharsis that comes from posting and transforming the toys, I'm enjoying the ones that are just a handful in size.
TransArt Arcee is out soon and I'm so excited. It's my first TransArt toy. I love Transmetals to death but I can't collect much MP and I know if I bought regular characters I'd become a completionist. But for Arcee I won't need too, since she's a special Botcon toy. I only really want Tigatron and Primal Prime and they all look so heroic together.
