I love that she’s thicc and statuesque but still proportional in the shoulders and chest (I always think Drac’s upper body looks a little shrunken). Noob question: does "playline" VS "collector" have a meaning beyond how much the manufacturer/retailer tries to charge you? Are there mainstream collector dolls with delicate lace and such you wouldn't let your small child play with?
>>10411450"Collectors" quality is all over the place, sometimes it's near identical to playline quality just with a collectors label slapped on, sometimes it's a step or two above playline with unique clothes and hair with a lot of small detailed accessories, sometimes it's clothes that are intensely detailed and delicate, with real gemstones and precious metals. It's up to the collector but generally i don't think many people here want kids touching any of their collection, collectors quality or not.

I assume it's the ease of customization, if you get a base doll it's not too hard to get blank faceplates to customize and switch out, so you're not risking the full doll. Their bodies are also roughly the same size as other fashion dolls so they can fit a lot of clothing. I think they suffer from the same problem as the BJD community where a lot of ppl make very ugly sculpts/dolls because it's just the "aesthetic".

12. Very comfy face sculpt. All the looks dolls have 5 poa in the arms and another 5 in each leg. I think they also have a waist swivel. This is more than the first generation made to move dolls that only have 3 poa per limb and no waist swivel.

Removing Cleo's tinsel is a different experience from removing tinsel from an MGA doll.MGA doll tinsel can be pulled intact but Cleo's tinsel breaks, leaving ugly fibers. I would like a doll with the most feminine look to her, body and face wise, and plain without any or as few sculpted details as possible. I was thinking about picking up a doll from the Monster High line because they seem to have the most points of articulation for various posing and such. Do you have any recommendations?
