It’s nostalgia plain and simple. There’s a set of people, including RetroBlasting, who prefer the FSB Bantha to the Stan Solo Bantha because it looks like the original prototype Kenner made. The bungee cords in the legs just allowed for better posing and was exactly what Kenner did for a lot of their creature figures. The quality of the figure is unmatched, the Stan Solo one I’ve felt in hand, is both light and has clear 3D print lines.

The beginning to the New Avengers, Astonishing X-Men, Batman Hush, that whole time period. So when Hasbro announced an Extremis Iron Man and Astonishing X-Men costumes, I jumped on those. But then I'm not nearly as interested in stuff like the House of X era costumes.I enjoy classic looks because those looks are what defined a lot of these characters but the slightly updated looks from the early 2000s that were clearly the classic costumes with some modern updates, really tickles me just right. Much more than some of the modern costumes to come out over the past few years anyway.
