I had a hard time shooting him. Everything casts a shadow. I put him on my kitchen chandelier. He has 4 guns. They didn’t do round pegs on two of them so you have to pull back his leg hair and put them in hexagonal slots. The instructions encourage you to use the legs as little dew claw swords. Half his chest opens up and exposes a tiny matrix.

Mirror, shiny metal, etc just outside of the frame of the shot can be used to redirect light into some of the areas with harsh shadows.Also if it's shadows HE casts onto the other objects, the trick is to move the light source further away. The further way, the bigger and fuzzier the shadow gets, meaning at some point it's taking up the entire shot so it's like it's not there at all

I found these weirdos at Ross today. Sideswipe is my third version of this mold but I'm a fan of it so it doesn't really bother me. The knees on my copy are a bit loose but not enough to make posing any difficult.Maximal Skywarp on the other hand I'm really in love with, even if truthfully I'm not that big of a Beast Wars fan. I do have the original Kingdom Airazor somewhere around here as well but Bald Eagle Man just has so much more character to him.

My first impressions of ss82 ratchet are quite good, I'm a sucker for light piping. Feels and looks good in bot mode, haven't transformed it yet, I'm going to refer to this as my combat model ratchet since I don't have any transformers in this style. So yeah, studio series is still great in my opinion. Kinda wish we would get a few generation selects but there are plenty of figures out.
