Im making this cause there wasn’t one and I found something interesting in Target’s data regarding a 6” two pack that has Charizard and Mewtwo listed at 34.99. No pictures yet. But it could be the rumored Select Series Mewtwo other anons have been talking about. Also some stores seem to have a 1/25 release date for Typhlosion.
Here is the DPCI.
Thanks for the new info and DPCI on that Charizard/Mewtwo pack. Wonder why it's called "Trainer Team Series"? My mind first goes to a human trainer and a pokemon. We do have another Pokemon General going already though.
>>10218801At that price, I'm worried it'll be the Select Charizard with the 4" Mewtwo... $35 seems way too good to be true for two 6" figures that retail for $22 each
>>10218798Link to the last thread?
>>10218827Maybe it's Mewtwo with a clone Charizard repaint.
>>10218892That would be neat and the name would fit. Maybe more trainers to come, then. >>10218835Could you imagine? Mewtwo is even supposed to be bigger. I'd like to hope that neither is not a Select figure (because then what mess would future 'trainer' figures look like) but if it is then ideally it'd be Charizard that is the 4.5". Once upon a time 2-packs were essentially value packs, so maybe they're treating it like that? Also could you imagine they just double the size of the current packaging? These are some of the biggest toy boxes per price at retail, I'm not sure they're going to want to keep carrying them because of how much space they take up.
>>10218835The price for something like this is usually close to the sum of the figures so a Select + a battle feature figure seems to be roughly the $35. One of them has to be a Select if its listed as 6" so its either big Charizard + small Mewtwo or a new Mewtwo figure + battle feature Charizard. Select Charizard was one of those figures at the original $20 price initially so maybe they could both be Selects and this is a sort of value pack but this seems rather unlikely.
What's the best way to order stuff from the Japanese pokemon center?
>>10218965Yeah, seems way too unlikely to both be $22 Selects. One Select with one 4.5" seems more like it sadly. $22+$12= $34 which is close enough to the $34.99 price. Like the anon above said, I hope Mewtwo is the Select and Charizard is a 4.5".
>>10218798Jesus Christ, how horrifyingBut considering it’s the only decently scaled Typhlosion ever I’ll have to buy it.
>>10219279>the only decently scaled Typhlosion everIt'll be about the same size as the Hasbro one
>>10219292But the Hasbro one looks even worse
>>10219294Ok, well that's something different entirely. You said there wasn't any decently scaled one.
>>10219292As you can tell, I’m not a particularly avid follower of the toylines.
>>10218798man, that doesnt look great, but.. i do want a typhlosion..

>>10218839Never mind, found it. >>10193975
How long has Select Moltres been out? Seems a bit rare and only on amazon at a jacked up price. Went ham and splurged on the line, ordered Articuno, Charizard, Zapdos and Rayquaza. Greninja is reduced at my local but he's a bit big and didn't look that amazing, Lucario looks like it could be good but again, too big and didn't he get a small capsule figure that could fit in with figma trainers? either that or the Pokken figure look like they would work better for me.
I only want one figure of my starter for each generation. Still missing a good feraligatr, sceptile, and now Skellidirge. I doubt we'll get any of them anytime soon. I ordered a Feraligatr from Japan but it never shipped because of COVID. Fuck them fags for stealing my money.
>>10220207>How long has Select Moltres been out?September. It and Lucario+Zapdos were $11 each for almost all of December at Target in the US. Lucario and Greninja are the worst figures of the line with poorly designed articulation and they are too large to scale with the others.
>>10220448>Lucario and Greninja are the worst figures of the line with poorly designed articulation and they are too large to scale with the others.I'd love if the line could do smaller scale guys justice, making the figure of guys like Lucario smaller and giving them tons of accessories and swappable parts would be best I feel.
>>10218798If this is coming out on the 25th then the early Jazwares reviewer guy should probably get his hands on this pretty soon.
>>10220485>making the figure of guys like Lucario smaller and giving them tons of accessories and swappable parts would be best Pretty much what everyone except for people at Jazwares agree with. They're seeming to stick with the 'Make the figure as big as it can to fill the package' mentality which is fucking dumb. >>10220518Those estimated delivery dates are just that. Estimates. No telling when we may start to see Typhlosion but hopefully by mid February it'll be in some stores or online.
Who's looking forward to Samurott and Dragapult? I really want to see Dragapult better, I hope his head can look straight up like Zapdos. Samurott isn't a favourite but I'll probably still get him, I hope he looks good standing on his hind legs.
>>10221873Can now confirm a date of 1-25 also for Dragapult at random target stores. I’m am very excited about dragapult.I cannot find Samurott in Targets system anymore for some reason. But Decidueye and Suicune are still in there.
>>10222447Seems like as of now, Decidueye and Suicune seem to the most likely figures that make up the 'wave' after this 3-figure Dragapult 'wave'.
Why don't you just 3D print pokemon?
>>10218798>scale world is bad because it doesn’t have articula-ACK!
>>10222535Got to much going on right now to buy a 3D Printer and invest the time I need for that project. But I personally plan to.>>10222547I collect Scale World too Anon.
>>10223240>to buy a 3D Printer and invest the timeIt's not just owning and learning to use the 3D printer. It's learning 3D modeling to sculpt and add joints. Then being handy for cleaning up and sanding plus assembling all the parts. Then the skill to paint neatly. It's a lot involved just to make some mons for the shelf. So annoying when anons just come in and say "Make the toy yourself"
>>10223385I got a partner for the 3D aspect of it at least. I’m I’ve a third of what I need to get the project started. But it’s so many variables like you said. And my life is very busy right now.
Are there any articulated Mewtwos like the 20-25 Select Charizard? Saw one going for 75-200 which looked nice but that's way more than I wanna pay.
>>10225018Well if anon's leak here >>10218801 is anything to go by then maybe. We've seen old listings but those haven't turned up yet, so who really knows. That said Mewtwo is popular and will almost undoubtedly show up at some point.
>>10218798He looks so much like a penis now.
>>10225092I'm afraid that's just your wonderful little imagination running wild.
>>10225066We don't know if the Mewtwo or the Charizard will be the articulated one though, huh? Any chance they'd both be?
>>10225138There's always a chance, but the price leans towards no. Mewtwo is larger than Charizard, so if we do get a new Select Mewtwo with the 4.5" Charizard they'd probably actually scale somewhat well. This whole line has basically "wait and see" because we really don't know a whole lot about what's going on or what's been going on (like with the dropped listings).
>>10225193A Mewtwo taller than the select Charizard sounds like it'd be pretty big. Or are you talking about a different Charizard?
>>10225238I'm talking about the 4.5" Charizard (as in if we get a new Select Mewtwo to go along with the 4.5" fire breathing gimmick Charizard in this 2-pack). I'd also expect a Mewtwo Select to be taller than Select Charizard, just like how Lucario or Greninja are taller. Charizard has girth to him, but not all that much height.
>>10225279Why not just have the Mewtwo by itself? I already have the better Charizard.
>>10225289Maybe there will be one, we're just referring to the supposed "Trainer 2-pack" that's listed in Target's system.
>>10225289Because they know you'll but a more expensive two pack just to get one figure, duh. I bet if Mewtwo is the 6" Select in that pack, then they'll also release is in the main Select line later on.
>>10225474Is the line even selling that well? Seems like every release goes on clearance or piles up.
>>10225487I dunno but I wager certain ones sell well. Charizard, Lucario, the real popular ones. Mewtwo would sell well too I wager.
>>10225487It's their stupid release model like we've talked about many times. The stores get solid cases of each figure. So depending on what your particular store's buyer orders, your location could up with like 12+ of the same figure if they order a couple cases leaving them to all rot on shelves. I'm sure they'd all sell better in mixed assortments so there was always a variety on shelves at the same time
>>10225764its so weird that this seems to be the case in the US, atleast where i live we get mixed cases? i always see the whole wave on shelves ever since lucario/zapdos released. and im sure many stores got zard and articuno together here.for moltress there was always only a couple mixed with the other re-releasing figures that were on the back.
i saw something in the recent toy world magazineapparently we're getting another interactive pikachu plush this year, separate from the electric charge pikachu we got recentlyi don't suppose anyone has news on this one?
>>10232858No news yet. Kind of no official news period about anything Pokemon toys since what, the Squishmallow were shown?
>>10232858>highlights include brand new 8" to 24" charactersIs this referring to plush?
>>10232884Yes, plush assortments.
>>10232929Clodsire please.
>>1023335824" Clodsire, Dunsparce...
>>10233378I would unapologetically put a 24 inch plush Clodsire on my bed.

Anybody have the dpci?
>>10235566And there's Samurott. I guess him a refresh of Charizard will be on the way soon too.
>>10235562>>10235566I got you
>>10235562>DragapultWhy
>>10235667Also just realized that they're priced differently. Kinda strange.
>>10235671Why not? It's one of the best designs from Gen 8.
>>10235667Thanks!
>>10235562I'm definitely growing a Big D myself.
>>10235730Review them for us!
Dragapult gets points for having articulated tiny appendages. The tail is a wire. The knees have 20 degrees of motion. The sculpt is amazing but everyone will have this thing in the same pose so it may as well have been a statue.
>>10235758that tail placement, reminds me a lot of great porn now I have to masterbate againa after salivating over this great design!
Typhlosion has toe articulation in case you want to put him in all fours mode
Unfortunately he can only look down or to the side so its kind of pointless.
>>10235779He's suffering
His default pose looks good, so thats the one to stick with.
Overall dragapult wins for crazy sculpt. Just be grateful someone is making these one off molds. Most toy companies wouldn’t bother.
>>10235758Can the Dreepy rotate or come out? Also kind of a question for anons in general about the tail, is that type of material good for longevity if you pose it alot? I think articuno had a similar tail but I didn't get that one.
>>10235807No. Its just a wire
>>10235730Thanks for all the pics anon. Both look pretty good, though some of the joints are cut in pretty ugly. If they'd work in making joints look nicer and even going the pinless route, these would be stellar. I notice Dragapult's package has a "Only at Target" sticker on it. Does Typhlosion's box too? I remember Dragapult showed up in Gamestop's system as an exclusive last year but never arrived there obviously. Now Gamestop seems to be exiting the action figure selling game, so they likely cancelled it and Target picked up the exclusivity. Hopefully that's it and not the entire line becoming a Target exclusive.
>>10235844It is not target exclusive. It is carried by barnes and noble and even cracker barrel. Gamestop is not getting out of the action figure game.
It doesn’t say target exclusive. It says trainer team series.
>>10235849Come on, I can read. This sticker. >>10235848It does say Only at Target, and this was slated as a Gamestop exclusive for last summer that never happened, so it does check out. And Gamestop IS seriously downsizing the amount of figures they carry. They stopped carrying Marvel Legends Exclusives this year as well if the rumors are true, which they seem to be so far.
Mewtwo when or no date yet?
>>10235898Missed it my bad. The other picture has them both with the sticker. Gamestop is still carrying tons of stuff. They are probably just dropping Hasbro because they are jewish and overpriced.
>>10235779Is that seriously the best it can do? All those segments above the shoulders and he can't look forward? Also, is the fire collar removable?
>>10235773>>10235779>>102357871/12 keks ....
>>10235959That's pretty bad if so, but I assume they're balls in there, if they can be separated they can probably be modified.
>>10236024>1/12 keks needing to break apart their toys to fix them.
>>10236043You don't modify all your toys? What are you, some kind of pleb?
>>10236043he can't customize his toys kek
What 1/12 by the way? Most of these figures are either too small or vastly oversized
>>10235793can you show us a comparison between them and charizard ? and maybe other jazwares figures
>>10236095Typholision looks like it may be spot on, but Dragapult looks pretty huge. I'm curious to see how the Dreepy battle figure compares to it. That damn thing is so massive though. It's almost like Jazwares intentionally screws with the sizes of the figures to make them scale as poorly as possible lol
>>10235698That’s not a particularly high bar.
>>10236459Dreepy is unsuualy small. Unless they made like 3 itd never have really worked. Same as Pokemon like Tynamo, Diglett, Pawmi, etc.
Ok so I think the Trainer Team two pack with Mewtwo and Charizard has to be 2 of the articulated Selects. The battle figures and articulated Selects have yet to be packed together. The Charmander glossy evolution pack uses the battle feature figure. None of the pamphlets included with the battle figures advertise the Selects or their commercials. They basically have treated these as two different lines that don't interact. As for the $34.99 price, with how often they re-wave Charizard its not unreasonable for them to "discount" it at $15 while the Mewtwo would be $20. This would be the first multi pack with Selects so putting Charizard there would make sense. Maybe one day there'll be a triple bird pack, as long as its not glossy lol.
>>10236529I want all of them
>>10236551I'd be ok with this as I wouldn't mind an extra Charizard. Unless we're monkey pawed and it's just selects Charizard with battle Mewtwo. I'd be pissed.
>>10236551Any idea when it may release? Will it be hard to preorder?
>>10236607We don't know much just speculating what this >>10218801 might be.
>>10236618How do I use the dpci to search for it on their site? I wanna keep an eye out for when it goes up.
Is the shf Mewtwo any good? Kinda pricey now though. What's its scale with select Charizard?
>>10236551>As for the $34.99 price, with how often they re-wave Charizard its not unreasonable for them to "discount" it at $15 while the Mewtwo would be $20.You may be right, but that seems very unlikely IMO. Why would toy company EVER do us a favor and sell at a drastically discounted cost? And the MSRP is now 21.99 each, not 19.99 anymore. I just don't see them offering two 21.99 figures for 34.99 but we will see. It still seems more likely that they're going to use the 4.5" Charizard since the MSRP for those 4.5" is now 11.99.
>>10236632A little pricey, but honestly it's not much better than the Tomy 5" one that's nearly identical in size. Both scale decently with Select Charizard but are probably a bit small. Why not just wait to see what this inevitable Jazwares one looks like?
>>10236632>>10233438 shows the D-arts ver. I think the SHF is the same size.Mewtwo's a head taller than D-Arts Zard, and Select Zard is a head taller than it too, so I'd say about same height?
>>10236668The main point is that the battle figures and Selects have not once been packed together. The description says Select 6", Super-Articulated Figure 2-Pack and Trainer Team Series (which we've now seen on Tyhplosion and Dragapult) all of which suggest there isn't a battle feature figure. Also for some reason Dragapult is still $19.99 >>10235667, maybe the ones developed earlier have the old pricing.
>>10236680I understand your point, I still don't see Jazwares and Target handing over such a discount to the customer. $34.99 for an item that totals $41.98 separately (if you count Char at 20) is way too nice for them Remember, they are charging $27.99 for a 3" Raichu, 2" Pikachu, and 2" Pichu just two pegs down lol
>>10236670Oh I am waiting to see what that one looks like. I was just seeing what other options there were. Was pretty impressed with the Charizard considering the price point so it got me wanting a Mewtwo. I understand why people get annoyed at all the merch and popularity Charizard and Mewtwo get, but for me they've always been staples of the franchise like Pikachu. More like symbols of the generation I guess.
>>10236503While that's true, it's still a good design in its own right.

>>10238442And they still fucked up QC
>>10238101Some of the dex height ones are too big. Person in the Home comaparison is 4'11" so shorter than Ash. Some like Sylveon they measure to the ear. Looking at Home its pretty close to the anime heights.
>>10237509Give me examples of good Gen 8 designs.
>>10238543NTA but Gen 8 had some decent 'mons. The starters are good (Scorbunny especially), and there's a fair few nice designs in it- Wooloo, Yamper and Orbeetle spring to mind. Honestly the gen gets a lot of flak but it's "OK" at absolute worst. And unlike Gen 9 it actually works properly, so...

>>10238961im still curious why these were chosen. They aren't bad choices, but these aren't exactly capeshit characters

>>10238961That's awesome to know.
>>10238961That shit doesn't look good
>>10238961Awesome. Please tell us the neck can move more than the other anon showed. I can’t believe they’d give him wrist and toe joints for a quadrupedal pose, but wouldn’t make sure he can look forward.
>>10238988it's just rotations no joints.
>>10238961is that Buena Park Mall? Dos that mean Walmart has them too?
>>10238997No I got it from target in bp. It is target exclusive like dragapult.
>>10238995There's no way that's true, the cuts are indented. If they were just swivels they'd just be cut.
>>10238975>im still curious why these were chosen. The Legends Arceus starter lineup, obviously. Typhlosion and Samurott in this wave and Decidueye found in Target's system for the next wave. Supposedly it was also supposed to be int his wave but it looks like Gamestop cancelled their order for the exclusive Dragapult and that's why Decidueye got bumped out of this wave.
>>10238995>>10239067I also can't believe those neck segments don't have anything aside from rotation... Even if they don't have true hinge joints, they must surely have a ball socket type thing in each one, right?
>>10239071>The Legends Arceus starter lineup, obviously.I don't believe that. It was SV that really brought in all the long lasting hype, and Arceus was practically a memory
>>10239091What? You do know it takes like well over a year to develop toys, right? and Jazwares has shown they are even slower than that. The PLA starter trio is 100% intentional.
>>10239093Yeah but we're all talking about the SV starters, Tandemaus and the Tinkaton these days. Back in the Arceus days, there wasn't really anyone hyping Samurott nor anything. They weren't in the anime or a popularity poll.
>>10239097>Tandemaus and the Tinkaton these daysAnd you'll get those in 1~2 years like the Arceus crew.
>>10239097Brand synergy my guy, every media giant wants it. I wouldn't even be surprised if they were encourages by TPCi to choose those PLA starters too.
>>10239150See the weird thing is why didn't they do the actual Hisuian forms though? As of now we have zero US merch for the Hisui mons i believe and it would have been awesome having them make some in the select line.Actually i can perfectly see them making these "retro" or old fashioned packaging for Hisui mons which would have been so cool. But of course they wont do that because the brand standard is those red/white swoopy looking packages
>>10238997>Buena Park Mall>>10239048>target in bpwhoah small world anons, another Bp resident here too, (technically la palma but same shit)
>>10239437>See the weird thing is why didn't they do the actual Hisuian forms though?Yes, because developing figures takes around a year at the minimum, and much longer for Jazwares. TPCi doesn't let the licensees see new designs before the public first so if they had waited to see the Hisuian forms, we would't be getting them until the end of this year or early next year I bet. They still get the PLA tie in with the starters this way even though not in their Hisuian forms.

>>10239740It won't show up on the website for a while. If you have an employee run the DPCI on one of their devices it will pull up.
>>10240280Nah, they've done what, one podcast in the 3 yeas they've had the Pokemon license? And no formal online Q&A.Just like an anon asked in the other thread, I bet there's also about a zero percent chance we get a blurry photo leak of this week's UK ToyFair display like we did last year.
>>10240578I think they've done 2? And with some lesser known podcasts (I guess none of the bigger toy personalities care enough about Pokemon to do a show). Idk if there are big Pokemon podcasts or yt or twitch shows, but that seems like a decent audience to try to tell about your products too. Wasn't there also some of their designers on Twitter? I doubt they could say much but it could be worth a try.
Anyone here have the egg gashapon figures? Are they similar to Moncolle? I kinda want to get Mime Jr. and Mantyke.
>>10240652I only have a Pichu. Scales somewhat with MonColle Pikachu.
when the FUCK will they make an exeggutor figure
>>10240844When you pay them to
>>10240844this is the best one, not to say it's a must-have unless you're a fail world collector>>10240867i wish TPCi approved some kind of Haslab or similar thing. That'd be wild
Posting Dragapult.
>>10241041
>>10241043
>>10241044I don’t know why this is even a thing.
>>10241045
>>10241046No head rotation
>>10241050Most of 1/12 Galar available
>>10241052
>>10241050I saw a video stating this and it's just such an odd omission. No extra parts required.
>>10241045That's to allow the Dreepy heads to rotate though, right?>>10241050>>10241068WOW. That's some stupid ass designing. Like you said, literally just required them to put a peg hole in the base of the head where that neck disc is going in. Literally wouldn't have cost them any extra parts or anything. Jazwares continues to make some very baffling decisions while designing the articulation on these.
>>10241053Nice group! There's actually quite a bit more 1/12 scale Galar figures too aside from those between Tomy, Re-Ment, and other companies. Eldegoss, Gossifleur, Milcery, Alcremie, Rookidee, Wooloo, Skwovet, Raboot, Rolycoly, Applin, Hatenna, Snom, Dreepy and Kubfu too. Plus the 4.5" Inteleon but he's the most blatantly out of scale of all those listed.
>>10241053Beautiful setup, Anon!
>>10241102Yes the Dreepy heads kinda rotate but hit the Dragapults head.>>10241105Thank you for that list anon.
Can someone who has Typhlosion show me how much he can bend his neck and stomach forwards and to the sides? I'm hoping I can at least get him to look dynamic and cool rather than just slight variations of standing there
>>10241108Thank you.
>>10241045I also don't see why they had to cut the seam right through the yellow belly part. If they had done it like this along the edge of that, the seam would be hidden better, plus that would only require one paint application to the yellow belly part since it would all be on the same piece, instead of being split across two different parts that each need paint. Seam on the back side could be the opposite shape on the opposite side to balance it out and maintain the same structural balance, especially during the sonic welding of the halves together. Whyyyy
>>10241102Ironically the Dreepy heads can swivel and Dragapult can't. If the hinge just lead to a ball it'd have worked fine. Same for Typhlosion's neck. I find it hard to believe actually. Just seem like such glarin omissions.
>>10241145I still don't believe that Typhlosion's neck segments don't allow for any swivel motion. I just can't fathom how they could omit that especially after chopping up the figure as much as they did. Truly amateur hour over there at Jazwares if they did these stupid ass choices.
>>10241274>Truly amateur hour over there at Jazwareswater wet etc
>>10241116Dreepy, do not look there! Bad!
>>10241338>>10241274>>10241145Is Charizard some kind of anomaly from them? Sure it could have had some things done better but overall I'd say it's a very solid figure.
My little Moncolle collection is coming along nicely. I got Bewear and Stufful in today. Not pictured are a Dracovish and Dragapult the missus got me for Chriatmas that are set up elsewhere.
>>10240879I want the Kanto version
>>10241581I also like a lot these Moncolle box figures. I'm waiting for the next one with other Paldean mons
Just got a shipping notice for the ArtFX J Onix Vs. Pikachu Figure. It's a statue so i wont post it, but im still going to see if it's a good/better alternative to fail world or the aliexpress one

aaannd Pokemon Center
>>10241846>>10241847>>10241849Sincerely, Mega seems waay more fun to collect than jazwares shit. The sets are always out there somewhere and never scalped wtf
>>10241846>>10241847>>10241849looks ass
>>10241686I like that they do different poses. I love Gengar, but there's only so many times you can display "standing upright with arms at the side" figures of it. I have the transluscent Select and the battle feature figure, so this and the Gigantamax gashapon figure were a nice change of pace.
>>10241849A Pokémon Center without a human attending it's kinda weird. I wonder why with all it's years mega hasn't been able to do human minifigures. Maybe Tpci won't allow it.
>>10242027Chancey can run it, it's ok. Maybe it's a scaling thing. Look how big Pikachu is, a regular mini figure would just be a bit taller than it, and around as wide.
>>10241041i try not to be negative because theres so many negative retards on here but why is your red so fucking dirty?
When's Mewtwo getting a new figure?
>>10242998Soon. Thanks for asking.
>>10242998why didnt you get the VAH/SHF?
>>10242998I think there's something in Targets system about a selects jazwares Mewtwo with a Charizard. Anyone know how long they take to go on sale after showing up in the system? And if it will be hard to get an order in?
>>10243047Manlet mewtwo no thanks
>>10243132>SHF>manletyou want nothing
>>10218798>regarding a 6” two pack that has Charizard and Mewtwowould be kino if it's Charizardtwo
>>10243047Why are these so fucking expensive?
>>10243072We don't know anything aside from the name and price listed in Target's system. It could come out and be found tomorrow, a year from now, or never at all. Who knows. Many things have been in the system and just got cancelled or whatever.
>>10243207supply and demand, older figures long past release date, maybe more people are holding onto them or buying them since there are now many articulated 1/12 ish scale mons
>>10243207because you didnt buy them earlier?
>>10243135The Pokémon line for D-arts/shf has the tiniest figures ever made for the brand. They scale with NOTHING but themselves
>>10243312Not Mewtwo though
>>10243314He's barely the same size of this figma which is one of the smallest female figma I own. Mewtwo it's supposed to be 6' 07''.Of course it's very well made and articulated, but still tiny. Not even the Tomy one suffices.
>>10243324still the best and tallest Mewtwo. and im the VAH owner
>>10243132K bye>>10243207Mewtwo shf was cheap as hell on release and for awhile after. Did its price go up or did you look at the d-arts?
>>10243132u too poor to afford it?
Immediately regretted buying this dragapult
>>10244170Why? Size? poorly designed articulation? I still haven't seen enough size comparisons or a thorough review of the joints to make up my mind.
>>10244173I know it’s gonna end up on clearance in a few months :p
>>10244191Is it?I haven't seen any of the pokemon line on clearance.
>>10244199Articuno ended up on clearance
>>10244200Did he?Stores in my area still have Articunos at full price.Recently I've hit up all the targets in an hour span away from my house and have seen all three birds on shelf. With a rare green boy and lucario. It must be different regions of the country having clearances I guess.
>>10218798Really wish we got the Galarian Birds in this line. The Zapdos would be awesome.
>>10244205it happened during the holidays. that particular wave was $5 off, even during the Buy $50/100 Get $10/25 off weeks
>>10244170HEY DID YOU KNOW
>>10244170Seconding why. Is it just not good, does it rely on the stand? Pictures suggest it does what it promises
He’s fun to play with and everything. Wish his head can turn to the side more
>>10244236>Pikachu used Cowgirl Position!
>>10244199You must not look online ever. Articuno was on clearance for a while and Target had Zapdos, Lucario and Moltres for $11 for like a month and a half leading up to Xmas.
>>10244223I'm wondering too...But I suspect it has something to do with Dragapult really only ever needing to be in like 2 poses. Floating is normal, and looking forward as if flying through the air. And it looks like his head can't look forward far enough for that when in a laying position, so the super articulation is kinds pointless on him IMO.Just kind of a strange choice for a 6" Select when it would have been better as a 4.5" action feature one
>>10244191Only in Murrica, where they're somehow the hardest to find yet always go on discount.
>>10244326Maybe they decided on the 6 inch line because of size? I thought he was supposed to be a small pokemon but he's apparently 3 meters and towers over humans so they figured it would be better to put him at Select size/scale instead of 4.5''
>>10244326>>10244223because I think its gonna go on clearance
>>10244389so you're not actually saying it's bad, but that you do believe it'll shelfwarm just like the other guys. I certainly don't doubt that, but id like to see how long a NEW character sticks around
This articulated Haunter that came with Charmander and Appletun is actually really cool. Should I put some glue at the base of the stand for the head or is it sturdy enough?
scale world chads we eatin good
>>10244454Sturdy enough in my experience. The hard part is always getting those fuckers out of the plastic tray.Snom was a nightmare.
Im nit american but even i know Selects were like 11USD a few times, especially the birds. Hoping these 2 hit europe soon. Any pics of Typhlosions full range?Dragapult seems fine for me. Hope Samurott wont take ages.
>>10244483Yes scale world it's been pretty good so far. It had a rough beginning with the availability of premium sets but right now I don't see people not getting their sets
>>10244483>statueshitFuck off
>>102443823 meters from the tip of the tail to the top of the head. Snake-like ones are measured like that remember. So while floating, the butt-to-head measurement won't be 3 meters. Maybe like 1.5-2 or so. So I think it could have easily been better off as a 4.5" figure.
>>10244572Ah yeah, let's see your 3 poa jazwares figures.
>>10244612k
>>10244454I glued the peg into the stand because it would come off if bumped slightly, but Haunter always stayed attached to the peg just fine.
>>10244645Woah preposed limbs making joints totally useless. And two figures that don't scale well with each other. Very impressive anon
>>10244173>thorough review of the jointshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sezScXMU9JAFound this, 5:40 for Typhlosion, 48:20 for Dragapult.

>>10244722no. Mega is taller and they can do high fives and such. Fail World can't do that

>>10245047hell yea the same pikachu over and over again!
>>10245049you only have 3
>>10245010Did they make an exeggutor (non alolan) yet
>>10244483>Kantoooo shit for the millionth timeI'm getting tired of this
do we have any pics of jazwares' booth at the london toy fair yet?
>>10245010Every pokemon anon? Did thry complete any generation yet??? Scale world wishes it was Kids and Sitting cuties!>>10245130Unlikely we would get a picture as last years was accidental. I do hope someone with proof they went can describe some of the things on display. Or if we get another accidental shot like we got of venusaur from a video
>>10245220I mean bandai Kids it's cheap vinyl all in chibi form, and plushies are easier to make, none of both lines being scaled, but yeah, I don't think scale world would complete anything besides kanto and maybe Johto
>>10244205Articuno was on clearance for a while but i guess stores maybe got more stock in? and those *aren't* on clearance which is weird. It and Greninja were shuttled off to Ollies (at least maybe on the east coast here) right before christmas and target themselves had moltres, zapdos and lucario i believe on some sort of clearance, probably just to clear the shelves
I vaguely remember the original Charizard Select in 2021 was some sort of Target exclusive first, did it also have the Target mark like Dragapult and Typhlosion? Does being exclusive even mean anything for these figures?
>>10245696They were "first at Target", not proper exclusives, no stickers. These stickers are new to the line, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
>>10245696don't they all end up at Amazon?
>>10244483God I fucking love Scale World but shit is so expensive now, I miss the big region sets, I can't buy these 1 character sets
>>10245130Why do they hide this shit? Why not show us what the fuck we're getting?
>>10245721Correct. Charizard was released like 2-3 months earlier at Target than everywhere else. More like a timed exclusive. Not a true retailer exclusive. The fact that these newest figs have the Target exclusive sticker on them makes me worry Amazon/Gamestop/other stores won't be getting them which would not be a good sign. Lines that sell very well do not end up as retailer exclusives.
>>10245843Well that's not great but I'd imagine not all figures will be exclusives. Dragapult was probably always intended to be an exclusive cause people found the Gamestop leak. This might also explain how its still $19.99, it was always meant to be that price. Need to see where things go from here.
>>10244236The tail is way too big.
>>10245928
>>10245843Wild thoughts time, these ones are exclusives, Tyranitar and friends are general releases, just eternally delayed internally for some reason.
Does the Jazwares select Lucario stand on his own?
>>10245937probably not, it also lacked ankle rockers so if it can only in the most basic pose
>>10245928Have it give someone a ride.
>>10246022*Sigh* See, that's how big they should have made Dragapult. This 6" Select is just way bigger than it has to be. a 4" one like others have suggested would have been the best option, and then they could have given him a shooting action feature too.
>>10245108Kantochads win againZoomers stay malding
>>10246022
>>10246066The size is fine and here >>10246117 with Raihan being adult height like Leon it pretty much matches the shot perfectly.
>>10245800something something business privacy
>>10246066Get with the time gramps, Pokémon come in many alternative sizes
>>10246127I think figure just has a MASSIVE head that's very wide. Looks out of scale with the body. It's usually not shown as wide in the anime or card art.
Any nice little Mimikyu figures? A little articulation or just a cute enough one. I'd kind of like it to have its little claw hand.
>>10246229Shodo with attack bonus
>>10246127
>>10245287>>10245010>>10244965Just had to look it up. Why would people pay 60 euros for non-poseable statueshit of a pokemon?
>>10246127Love how your in scale Scorbunny, Appletun and Bulba look! Which Scorbunny is that? Figma Gloria one? I need one that's smaller than the Jazwares and Moncolle ones.
Scale World Brock and Misty showed up today. They look great with the crew
>>10247821Where did you get Brock at a reasonable price? I can only find him at $100+.
>>10247928I preordered both from Meccha Japan for $120 shipped. The shipping alone was $30, but Brock’s box is admittedly huge. He just released so will probably stay marked up online until readily available.
The 20 inch squishmallow gengar is street dated for release jan 29th this sunday. I'm debating if I wanna skip work and camp for one and race against scalpers and collectors or just buy one from a scalper a little under double msrp shipped.
>>10248068I don't understand the squishmallow craze. At all. They're....just round stuffed animals.
>>10248208you ever squeeze one or similar?
>>10247782Looks to be the figma one
>>10248269I just love the fact that an evolution family of figma, moncolle and plamo all scale together so perfectly while being from different lines/companies.
How have they not made a Cynthia figma yet
>>10248302That's how I've been collecting for years.
>>10248539why do people care about Cynthia again?
Is this a shiny figure or is it the normal version. I can’t tell bc of the lighting

>>10248068I went with my son to see what was up. There was some obese childless man screaming about how he had a gengar tattoo and how dare they only have two and not sell one to him. They look like they are too fat to use as pillows. I don't really get it. But they sold out fast. If this is important to someone I would recommend the Japanese one that eats your head.
>>10249506ty anon. those links didn't work but i was able to find them
>>10249506Sweet, thanks for the heads up. Ordered them both! Pretty disappointing to see reviews saying how badly the articulation is designed on both and how some essential joints offer virtually no useful movement, but I'll see for myself. I'm just happy to get a new starter to replace an ancient figure on the shelf.
>>10235758does the head articulate?
>>10250400Only up and down tilt. No side to side tilt, rotation, or turning or any kind. Which is absolutely stupid of them but it wouldn't be Jazwares if they weren't fucking up simple articulation.
>>10249506ty anon
How many trainers has Scale World made? I can't find a proper catalogue online
>>10251653I quickly counted them up on MF and it came out as 45 human figures made, or upcoming. There might be a few duplicates in there; like Green in different outfits/ages.
>>10251653>>10252548why wont they make more articulate trainers
>>10253272Figma does that. Tomy used to with the Ash and Serena figs, but they seem to have moved away from that. Making articulated figures is WAYYYY more expensive to do than static figs without articulation. I shudder the think of how much new Moncolle articulated trainers would cost these days.
>>10253417>inb4 Jazwares uses its Fortnite experience to make trainers, which kills the line because the actual demand for them isn't equal to the monsters'
>>10253502honestly the pokemon line in general is really lacking for humans which may not be a huge problem, but it's weird its missing, especially after Japan showed that people love the trainers/gym leaders etc.
>>10253521not enough to make Figma Bea. I just want Bea. I love Bea
>>10253502Yeah right, Jazwares can hardly get more than a handful of articulated mons out each year. There's zero chance they start doing trainers. That would only cut into the amount of actual pokemon we get which is already at the absolute bare minimum.
