1948 Porsche 356 Roadster or Porsche No1, Cararama/hongwell, 1/43
Anons.... I think I start to feel a little bit snowy, a little whacky.. a little cookie, a little you know... loopy ooh-ooh!
>>10153408AAahhhhhh i hate this antichrist device, why everything is not working like it should
>>10153411oh my fucking god, why is the picture still upside down, whatever here's a different one
What is your fav classic muscle? For me it's this red Dodge Superbee.
Is thia a new casting?
>>10153798The dodge from the demo destruction 5 pack looks pretty neat too. It includes the enforcer and a crushed diecast car. Fun stuff.
>>10153815>>10153821>tfw hw now sells cars that look like every car i haveliterally every single HW i have looks like this one with all scratches and fading paint
>>10153808Formula Flashback, looks like a new livery
>>10153934>go to Target to look at the fresh batch of stocks>all of the good singles are gone>only the originals and packs are leftI-is this normal?
>>10153798>>10153821What is that hood bulge for? I know some muscles have big engines sticking out but what about these? Same as here.
>>10154092It's a scoop ya dingus
>>1015397190% of my trips are that, I just clean the shelves and leave, most of the time it's incomprehensibly trashed and I've found a few good things buried
>>10153815>Hot Wheels car with an actual gunActually pre-built for Gaslands, do these 5 pack cars eventually make it into individual packs?
>>10154515It's a cast from 1982 I'm sure you can find it somewhere.
>>10154515>do these 5 pack cars eventually make it into individual packs? Not with the same paint colors. You can find the same enforcer and the crushed car in the two packs. I have seen them. Can't find them on the internet. The crushed car was a monster truck exclusive until it got released in the 5 pack.
>>10154092probably bonnet bulge for bigger engine components, bigger turbo, supercharger etc. it's not just for muscles, honda crx had small bulge too
>>10153393Nice plow. Now here's mine.
>>10152831Are the non super TH even worth anything? I usually run across them fairly easily
>>10154092It’s a scoop, it’s sucks outside air into the carburetor
>>10153971Target and Walmart usually won’t restock until the pegs are empty. But when they do restock, they overdo it. Which leads to the pegwarmers all migrating from the dump bin to the pegs, where people continue to not buy them
>>10153798I can't pick just one
Zuru Metal Machines unknown car. Now the Purple Cobra, despoiler of the highways.
>>10156637real neat once again. probably best use for the zuru stuff one can imagine.
>>10156643Thanks lad. Metal base and plastic bodies is such an odd choice, feels weird.I got the 5 pack on the left, and looking now (to try and find the model name) there's some fairly cool fantasy designs across the range.
>>10155397The fantasy model ones are worthless but the real licensed model versions are popular
got this majorette audi quattro recently. easily one of my favories of all time.
Just came back from Target Aus and got the biggest haul. I've now completed the Corvette 70th Years collection that I started >>10147127 and I got almost all of the Jay Leno Garage cars except for the Countach. Instead my Target had the Panterra so I figured why not. But I need to find that Countach and I hope the scalpers don't get to it or otherwise I will have to cave online.
>>10156637Looks like Camaro with rounded front.>>101566531 and 4 from left pack look cool but I love 3 4 and 5 right. 3 and 4 remind me GTA cars so Slamvan custom and Mamba (aka Cobra with roof) while 5 looks like off road derby modified muscle car.
>>10156653The top one on the right is called the Scorpio or something. There's a chrome version which I think looks nice.
>>10153798gotta be TNT Bird.
Found this yesterday, 40% off at a local chain. Still 4.20€ but acceptable for rubber wheels + opening parts.
>>10156978That's a lot. Got myself that tank car too and that thing is amazing>>10157239Always loved the 930 and the whale tail, hope to see it somewhere, be it mbx or hw. Nice find and for a good price i'd say, last time i saw a premium mbx it was 8€. Guess superfast would be 12 or more>>10157619Would like to see that thing into mainline, they have the renault license but the only one that keeps coming is the alpine rs, megane is "old" and god knows where the 5 turbo is gone.
>>10157743This is such a sick casting god damn
>>10158971Kinda surprised they are still making this one
>>10158506>>10158981I see RLCbro out here, haven't been active on the forum lately, dou you know what the next release is going to be? Picrel muh grails.
>>10157619Get the Hot Wheels Hyperliner
here's my maisto plow, that saw extensive use in winter way back, along with todays haul
>>10159151 I dunno, but i want some of the elite ones coming out, also some goo tarmac works, inno64, and mini gt are coming out with good stuff soon.
>>10159343That's a pretty good plow going by Maisto standards
Ok I think I'm done for a little bit. Didn't really want to mess with this K.I.T.T. Concept too much as it's a nice design.
Finally found a cybertruck
>>10160836Neat finds.>>10159940Cool custom. Is the windshield matte too? I can´t imagine the driver seeing thru it.Anyone knows what the yellow car is? I have seen this set in stores, but I just want the little yellow car. I don't care about the rodger dodger.
>>10161056I have seen this one in person. It looks like an unlicensed studebaker land cruiser. Cant't find the exact casting model.
>>10161082If I'm not mistaken the name of the model is jaded.
>>10161100I think you're righ. It also looks like a re-release, with the same livery. Except that the body is now made of plastic.
>>10161082>>10161162Also, It seems to be inspired by a Henry J and not a Studebaker Land Cruiser.
>>10161162>Except that the body is now made of plastic. That's disgusting.
Anybody messing with the skateboards? The shoe clip on gimmick is neat
>>10161858Are those diecast?
>>10161910I believe the trucks are metal (the parts that hold the wheels to the board) so yes. The board wouldn't be, that would be stupid. Are you implying a Hot Wheels item is off topic?
>>10162025this isn't Hot Wheels branded items general
>>10162025This is the DIECAST general.
>>10162143>>10162179More than half of "diecast" cars nowadays are only a metal base and the rest of it is plastic. That cuts this general down to premium models only. Gonna enforce that too?
>>10162280>More than half of "diecast" cars nowadays are only a metal base and the rest of it is plastic. What are you talking about? Maybe if you include all the dollar store chink shit brands that might be true. All the major diecast brands are metal body and plastic/metal base with the occasional exception
This has been driving me crazy. You know the 1/18 scale cars that are attached to a black rectangular base? I swear there are some plastic clips you can attach to the corners, allowing you to stack another car on topI’m no artist but the red lines are what I mean. You snap them on each corner of the lower car, then snap the top corners into the upper car. Is this something that exists? Because I can’t find it for the life of me
Tonight's haul, feat. Wheeljack.
>>10163558Nice Pagani grab. I haven't been able to find a single Pagani in months.
>>10163558Do the rear wheels on your Lancia Group B get caught on the wheel arch? Mine are so very close to them as you see here >>10153103 that whenever I roll it, I can feel some drag going on, the rear wheels rubbing on the arch itself.
>>10163140Not for 1:18 but yeah I know what you mean. I've seen these for 1:43 and 1:36 maybe but 1:24 and 1:18 would be too heavy and possibly unstable.
>>10163140>I swear there are some plastic clips you can attach to the corners, allowing you to stack another car on topThese weren't made to be attached to the base.
I hope Hot Wheels makes one based on this car someday.
>>10164551They didn't gave us the Hoonicorn, but they made the scumbug and the hoonigan gasser.
>>10163579I own two different Group 5's (the other is the transport). Yeah, both of the rear tires rub the wheel wells.
>>10164895Ok so it's not just my copy that has the problem, it's a design flaw-ish of the casting. A relief to know but still annoyed that one of my favorite Lancia Stratos design doesn't roll well because of how close the rear wheels are to the wheel arch.
>>10164688>scumbug and the hooligan gasser neither required a new casting
only just realized i posted in the wrong thread last night >>10164427
>>10159940I still haven't found a single one.
I bet the Skyline and Golf Country will sell like hotcakes
Just came back with this little fella. It has to be radio controlled through an app though.
>>10167305cool but>1:41there it is AGAIN.why is it that anything RC _MUST_ have some crooked ass scale? there seems to be some sort of fucked up rule that prevents them from using the same scales like scale models (1:43 in this case). do they fear people would use them as base to just slap their scale models on?
>>10167336I got u, maybe they do it so that it stands out more from any collection you may have going? I agree it's retarded, however it's not that far off proper scale, I guess that you could find some shells (sorry for pun - lack of better word) with similar or close wheel base to the one here and build from there.
>>10167004>renault 21Yes please.
>>10167631Based 21 enjoyer. I already got the 21 by Solido and even though the version by Otto is tempting with those wheels and livery I'm happy with the one I have. Was like 35 bucks and the quality is really nice for that pricetag.
>>10167336It's not just 1:43 issue. Bburrago for example scaled Range Rover down to 1:26 (instead of usual 1:24) so it doesn't stick out so much among usual 1:24 collection. It's a common practice with some producers that use same line with slightly altered scales so actual model is more or less similar in size despite differences. I guess actual true 1:43 scale CSL would seem too tiny (even if true) compared to other regular 1:43 cars.
>>10167875Makes sense. This scale bullshit is also the main reason why I eventually stuck with 1:18 since it's usually way more consistent. Bburago especially annoyed the piss out of me with their scale jumping. It's also really sad to see the China tag on that Bburago. The ones I have are all still made in Italy.
Found these four today. I didn't really like the GTR at the last moment, but the cashier already was scanning my stuff. Looks pretty bad. Unlike the 2021 version this one doesn't even have painted taillights. My favorites of the bunch are the Toyota and the Nova.
>>10167875>1:26 scale Range Rover advertised as 1:24 scaleHopefully Bburrago gets sued for false advertising.
>Bought mattel casting that was on my wish list since the first time I saw it.>Realize it's not true 1/64, it's way bigger.Mi whole day is ruined.
>>10168042>NovaFuck. I meant Chevelle.
>>10168160>didn't know Mattel is too lazy to do true to scalelmao what a fucking retard
>>10167875>so it doesn't stick out so much among usual 1:24 collectionNoIt's because they are saving on packaging. They are using typical box for every car in 1/24 range, as it is much easier for them to scale down the car, then produce different box for every model. Kismart, for example uses only one type of packaging, in which they managed to fit every scale from 1/24 to 1/68
>>10167004fuck, that Renault is cool. These are 1/18 right?
>>10154092I had a 1969 Hurst Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 with Ram Air. Except it was located by the grill and had two intakes holes. Which had large hose connections that forced air into the carburetor to give you extra horsepower. It was already fucking QUICK without it. I used to eat Trans-Ams and Mopar for breakfast. My first loss came to a 1970 Chevy Camaro. 427, running high octane fuel. Beat me by ¾ of a car length.
>>10155077Those older blue carded Oshkosh trucks are awesome! Heavy as hell too!
>>10168160All of their fantasy models are true to scale lmao
