>>
>>10133471
1:100 as stated in the first post. Truck and BTR are Zvezda models bought from Poland because fuck r*ssia. Most of the other stuff is 3D printed, including the tank.
>>
>>10133473
Yeah I noticed just after writing my post. There are still print lines visible on some parts and the stowage items could use a bit more weathering but it is otherwise a very nice model
>>
>>10133474
2 more weeks
>>
>>10133478
Yep at this scale the lines on flat surfaces are pretty much a given. But the items are too small to sand unless you're full autismo.
IRL they are pretty much the size of a match head, so you don't see any of it. Only the washing machines are a bit bad as the white really brings them out a lot more + they are cubes, so the lines are more pronounced. Probably could have made them better, but didn't want to sink another few days into a meme build.

Considering the layering issues, wouldn't it be less labor intensive to print out the general shape and the details like rivets and hatches separate?

With a burnt out truck cab like that I'd expect something on the bed behind it and the road underneath.
>>
>>10133589
I was thinking about airbrushing the ground or using pigments, but in the end decided against it and did a few passes with enamels, they don't really come through on the pictures, but give a bit of a stain on the asphalt IRL.
As for the truck bead, yeah, agreed, but just having a burnt out husk wouldn't have had the meme value of a bunch of washing machines (that are recognizable at that small scale instantly).

Probably in this case diecast/slot. For modern ones in general you have tamiya, belkit and fujimi among others.
In most cases they will be rally/race cars or more on the exotic side but there's a lot of offerings check scalemates

AK's Concrete from their Terrains line. First time trying any sort of acrylic paste that isn't some homebrew shit. I like it so far, I think it sunk into the foam a little bit, so I'll do a second coat, and also try and level it around the baseplate. Pic related is completely unweathered, and you probably cant see the texture that well
