Testing's come to a halt, it turns out the custom animations to make the tail work are making the game crash and I'm not sure why because there's no error message, just an instant crash. It seems to be something that's happening after exporting the animation files and converting them to a file type DD1 can read. Currently trying to contact someone who know the software better to figure out what's going on.

You gotta mix it with other shit and even then it'd generally wash out a fair bit anyway to become grey rather than actual black.Also those strong black dyes can damage fabric a fair bit more than other dyes (because it often uses iron to make the shade darker), so if you were a poor person who couldn't afford to replace clothing that often then you wouldn't bother dyeing something black to begin with.
>>89004470There is a difference between a dye and a pigment AFAIK (a pigment is particles which you suspend in a medium, a dye is chemically bound to the medium), which is why I asked in the earlier post. Blacks are rather stable pigments as are most organic earth pigments. Dyeing things black by all means shouldn't be hard, but I know little about coloring textiles.

Graphics are still broken, but it's fixable, bigger deal is the tooltips not displaying right. If I make good time, it should be ready by Memorial Day.
