>Dungeon is actually a living creature that feeds on dead adventurers.
>People explore it anyway because is full of treasure
>Even people with a sword and nothing else can have a shoot
>Local authorities set guards to charge for the chance to explore the dungeon
>As result, an entire city is build around the dungeon and the local economy moves around it.

Ok, first is first, this show was shit outside the NotHentai scenes. So while watching I though, wouldn't this be an interesting setting?

>Local authorities throw helpless criminals as form of execution. This made the dungeon grow larger, drop better rewards, attract more adventurers, hence, they can collect more money.
>Powerful nations would fight each other to control the largest dungeons.
>Biggest dungeons would drop powerful magic items, hence they would be restricted to some powerful, but loyal party.
>However, being an adventurer would be considered a high risk job, akin to be a miner in our world, instead of a glamorous one.

The ecchi is a product of the manga adaptation. The VN is pure dungeon autism.

Haven’t watch the show or read the LN. manga was fine, even got over the “awkward generic isekai opening”-hump pretty well imo

That sounds neat, just copy the aesthetics and plot points from the real world mining industry throughout the ages, and blue collar -esque adventurers sounds like a nice change of pace.

Big fat dog tits optional but appreciated

nogame ESL threads are the fucking worst.
This is just a shittier version of Magi, which already the whole dungeon-centric worldbuilding premise 20000000 times better than whatever low-effort FOTM mass market garbage you're talking about.
Magi would be interesting to play in but it's not like any of you people would run a game in any of the settings you make throwaway threads about anyways so who fucking cares
>>
there's a similar concept in Magi: the labyrinth of magic, though it isn't the main focus for the entir ty of the story but still, you could get some more ideas from there

what can i say, great minds think alike

The idea that the dungeon is alive and hates you started with the dungeon under Castle Greyhawk. Why do you historylets always try to reinvent the wheel instead of returning to the classics?
>>
>>88106522
Like many shonen beginnings, the dungeon arc in Magi is the best thing about it. I really like the manga throughout, but the sense of adventure and wonder of the beginning never really comes back.
>>
If you want actually good inspiration, Dungeon Meshi is pleasantly autistic about dungeon ecology without all the LitRPG nonsense. I remember it being storytimed here.

Seconding this.
Dungeon meshi is autistic kino when it comes to making a dungeon feel like a real ecosystem.

And much as with miners I get a feeling this would quickly hit the stage of not having people pay to go in and grab loot for themselves, but paying people to go in and grab loot for the dungeon owner.

don't most settings make this the case? I can't think of many where Adventurers are celebrities the only one that springs to mind is the Band books series by Nicholas Eames, and a lot of that series goes into detail about how the Celebrity ones don't really adventure anymore by going into the Forest and instead just Gladiatorial combat against weaker monsters.

Why is she so fat?

Forget the local towns, move the stores into the dungeon itself.

The fetch quest pyramid scheme always gives me a sensible chuckle.

The Webnovel/Lightnovel have him fucking his slaves enough to unlock a Playboy class. The sex was in there from the start. The manga and tv series didn't add it.

>a Playboy class
He fucked his way into multi-classing into bard? Interesting.
>>
>>88114799
I made a mistake. The Human racial class in the setting is actually Sex Maniac (which increases libido and has a special attack that gets more powerful the longer someone with the job active goes without sex) and is gained by having a threesome.

If a perma-virgin like your average 4chan gets this power, would they shoot laser cannon out of their crotch or something?
>>
>>88116578
A perma-virign wouldn't even have a chance of getting the class and even if they did the first use of the Abstinence Attack (which is just a normal attack that has it's strength increased based on the amount of time since you last had sexual release) would leave them drained for a very long time. The attack is a catch-22.

Newfaggotry to such a degree should be a bannable offense on 4chan.

Sex maniac is the racial class of humans. All those who don't have it literally are lessers.
