I can't think of many where Adventurers are celebrities the only one that springs to mind is the Band books series by Nicholas Eames, and a lot of that series goes into detail about how the Celebrity ones don't really adventure anymore by going into the Forest and instead just Gladiatorial combat against weaker monsters.
