Evening cool math. Tonight I encountered the rare fellow strong (in shitter terms) player. This was dragon maroczy bind. I don't get this very often and I was rusty on the sharper variations so I just went for the mildly dubious early e5 plan. It turns in to a sort of inverse botvinnik english if you do that. Unfortunately a tempo down and either better for white or equal depending on if white knows the plan (it's not theory, 7...e5 is technically a mistake). White was out of book at this point and I equalized but couldn't break through. Equal endgame trade down and drawn king and pawn.

Why is chess.com such a shitty website? Sometimes when I get a match there's a visual glitch which doesn't display some of the pieces on the board. Occasionally I would get randomly disconnect on my opponent's turn without any indication, so I have to wait for their clock to hit zero.
