Taking requests for AI generated art for you to use in your games. Picrel was generated with:
>victorian age city, alley, rain, Lovecraftian, horror, scary

Guidelines:
>post a prompt consisting of describing words/phrases separated by commas
>the prompt can contain as many words as you like
>images will be in 16:9 aspect ratio by default
>NO GORE/NUDITY as the bot automatically filters out those and trying to circumvent the filter gets me banned from the bot
>I reply to your post with the 4 draft variations the bot produces
>You can ask any of them to be upscaled to higher resolution
>If you like more than 1 of the drafts, please specify which one you like the best.
I can guarantee one upscale per request, but if the thread is slow I'll try upscale more of them for you while waiting for more requests.

Going to hang around for 4-5 hours today I think, but if there are requests posted in the thread after I've gone to bed, I try to do them tomorrow if the thread is still alive.

Here you go.
>>
>>86104400
I did, but man these are beautiful either way.
Top left should be enhanced if you can. I dig it.

But yeah maybe. "Airship castles in the sky" would be more understandable by the AI. It seems you may have found where the ai can get "confused."
>>
>>86104491
I'll see what the AI comes up with that other prompt. But yeah, I've tried making airships before, and usually it just puts airships floating above whatever else was described in the prompt.

I tried this couple of ways. Here is the result for your original prompt. The problem is that it keeps putting the moon in the background even when I'm trying to put the base itself on moon lol. I'll post another pic next that I got for modified prompt.
>>
I've been totally unable to make any of these generators understand how to draw a proper pair of dice in any environment. At best it can do a close up, faux CGI render. But something like
"pair of dice, boat, watercolor, HD" produces a monstrosity

A medieval fantasy city with gothic architecture, it's situated on a lake and is surrounded by rough snowpeaked mountains, its buildings are made of oily black stone and dark hued bricks, and eerie gargoyles decorate many buildings, a digital fantasy painting by Greg Rutkowski, Marc Simonetti and James Gurney.

Also, if you're allowed to change the amount of steps, you should turn them to the maximum (around 150 i got much better results).

Yeah. You can also separate sentences with commas, if you want to better describe what is going on in the picture. For example:
>medieval, mercenaries resting and eating in a forest, monster sneaking up on the mercenaries, scary dark

I'll do one with this prompt and post it as well so you can see if there is a differencwvnmne.
>>
>>86105575
>>
>>86105531
Apparently this is one of the times when the AI just doesn't get the description of what is supposed to be happening.

The best use I've personally found for AI art is scenery depictions to set the mood and tone.

So, since the AI doesn't like groups of people and things sneaking up on them, I'd like to try a landscape:

gloomy, apocalyptic landscape, desert, full moon, night sky, campfire, empty road

I guess the AI might do better with something like this.

BTW big thank you for the opportunity to play around with something like this, I wouldn't even know where to start otherwise
>>

Unfortunately the AI isn't familiar with that book. I'll try to come up with a prompt to generate something like it tho. I'll post it next.

Top down view is something I haven't been able to get working yet. I've tried making battlemaps before, but I've never gotten the AI to make the pic from actual 100% top down view. It is always angled somehow, or then it is a fisheye lens picture of a battlefield taken from a drone or an airplane or something.

Checking back into this thread, appreciate these a ton my dude. They're great. I love creating environments more than characters, so this sort of stuff is right up my alley.

If you want some more "Environment Prompts", my setting has:
> Mountain Range around the entire equator, with sizes doubling everest (puts them at about 80,000 feet). A belt of peaks higher than the clouds.
>A vast desert (fine sand dunes) that has had the atmosphere above it eroded away, resulting in brilliant Aurora's every night
>A subarctic forest the size of a sea. Heading towards the south pole, these massive trees are almost always covered in snow and go from horizon to horizon.
ANY of those prompts would be baller as hell, my dude. What AI tools do you use? These look great.

Did some variations and upscaled the best one of those. It is pretty close to looking like an actual fantasy creature.
>>
>>86117929
Not great, but not terrible. Could probably play with the prompt to get something better.
Which subscription do you have? How have you been liking it?
>>
>>86117090
Sorry anon, I think it slips too close to "gore", so the AI hasn't been trained to make pictures with flesh or meat textures it could use for buildings.
>>
>>86117929
>"flesh" gets filtered, but I can try with "meat".
Go for it, bro
>>
>>86117597
I really like deserts. Might try the "mountains higher than clouds" one too.
>>
>>86118028
Dang. Thanks for trying anyhow. Can't find a fitting picture anywhere. What's a man to do to get a thick tower of meat around the internet?
>>
>>86117383
I've tried making this so many times now, but the AI just refuses to put two brains inside the same container. It always insists on making two separate vats with brains. I don't really know if I can get it to work.

>>86117787
It just requires you to sign in with a Discord account. You get like 10~ free prompts at first, but after that you need to purchase a monthly plan. I got the 30€ one I think for unlimited prompts, since I have some friends who also ask me for art for their own projects. I've been really happy with it, but I don't know if I want to keep paying that much monthly.

Now that I think about it, bony protrusions could possibly serve as a "mundane" explanation for external ears when avians normally don't have them. Not sure what purpose they would actually serve though
>>
>>86118203
Are there any keywords you use for your prompts? Like "detailed" or "cinematic" etc...?
>>
>>86118550
Most often I just use "fantasy" because it gives nice cinematic scenery, and "horror, scary" because it makes the picture more stylized and not so noisy with details.

You can give the keywords different weighing factors too, so it values other words more than the rest, but I'm not very familiar with how to use them.

Requesting a not-Gandalf in blue throwing lightning and a not-Emperor Ming/Dr. Strange in red throwing fire who are holding cigars, in the style of a cigar box label.
Cartoonyness in the style of Errol Otus or Mike Ploog is great, or whatever looks cool, or like a cigar label.
The text is not necessary, just leave space for it.

Thanks.

They don't have to be Gandalf and Dr Strange, but an old bearded man in blue robes and a younger man in red robes is the goal, and generated separately would work as well.

A predatory monster that looks like a cross between a panther and a lizard, covered in white chitinous armor, long reptilian tail, tusks on the lower jaw, three-quarters view, jungle background, red tassels tied around its forelimbs, leaping, glowing blue eyes, realistic.

(Realistic just to try and get a decent result. I'm wondering if there's a good way to prompt engineer that sort of stylized-but-detailed fantasy artwork. Maybe something in the style of League of Legends modern splash arts, or thay douche RJ Palmer, but I don't think SD grokks those prompts.)

None of it is "offline" on Midjourney, unless you shell out 10€/month more for private plan. Otherwise all the prompts fed into the bot by all the users are always visible on a text channel along with the images they create on the Midjourney Discord server.
