I know this might sound like an odd complaint, but one thing I have to admit Yu-Gi-Oh! does better is when it comes to portraying women, Konami aren't afraid to have them be conventionally attractive and sometimes downright provocative, showing some skin... while WotC seems to be trying to make all women either hideous or completely covered up at all times, usually both things at once really... I don't get it, why is that? In most Yu-Gi-Oh! archetypes and even in some Pokémon TCG Trainer cards you have so much beautiful artwork displaying women who are feminine, and there's more variety too in terms of clothing and overall phenotype, and while M:tG doesn't feature the same manga/anime style as either of them, that doesn't mean we can't have beautiful women in cards with that traditional western style, WotC is choosing ugliness as a clear design choice and it's disappointing. I need a palate cleanser, so if you can please post a card from M:tG released in the last few sets with women which are beautiful, feminine, and aren't completely covered up, if you can find any of course, I want to build a deck of "waifus".

I recommend Sarulf as a constant source of removal and wincon. Put in your standard edh mass removal and disruption but skimp on the infinite combos and craterhoof style wincons. Keep a small boardstate by making a predominant spell based deck and you'll have a deck that feels pretty similar to The Rock.
